The New Girl in Town

Eve went to a seedy bar, where she was accosted by a group of men who wouldn't take no for an answer. Thomas didn't like that, to the point that he was happy to help her literally fight them off. In fact, he had to carefully hold himself back. One of the men had a gun, but he was a bad shot, so they managed to handle it fine. Afterward, Thomas didn't want to stick around but Eve literally chased after him and thanked him with a kiss. Thomas let her down gently, telling her that he was in the process of getting his life together, so she reluctantly said goodbye.

Green Arrow was at the docks, where he hoped to find information about a possible human trafficking victim. Killing several guards on the ship where he knew the man he was looking for was, he spotted the man trying to escape and shot him in the knee. Catwoman heard the commotion but decided that she had no interest in that type of vigilantism. The man died of his injuries before Green Arrow could get much information from him. The next day Eve showed up at Oliver's door, as her organization had determined that he was possibly Green Arrow's next target and thought that he needed protection. Oliver said that he didn't need any protection, but Eve was insistent.

Oliver decided to drive to Star City to visit his parents' graves, even though he was still under 24/7 watch by Eve's organization. Eve went with him, offered him what comfort she could, then suggested a hotel because it was a long drive back and he was soaked. He found one and after he changed they talked about their darker memories. They kissed, and later Eve woke up in bed with him.

Oliver had requested to not see Eve for a couple of days, but he hadn't handled it well. Eve arrived for her first time back, and Oliver had a lot he wanted to tell her.
