- Artemis was attempting to rescue some children working for a drug gang, but she ran into some difficulty in rescuing them because Jane Doe was posing as one of the members of the gang and took an interest in her life. But Hawkgirl arrived to help and rescued Artemis, though she had to let Jane get away.

- Diana heard a gunshot, and when she investigated she found Artemis in a fight with the members of a gang. They decided to team up to take down the rest of them, running into Cole, who was also track the same gang. They decided to go to Wayne Towers to do some research on the gang.
