Victor Sage - The Question, Nina Stenet
- Made even more suspicious of her activities because of her recent dealings with Mr. Freeze, Question visits Nina's lab and this time was willing to get aggressive with his questions. Only to find out that Nina has the ability to incapacitate him. She gave him a taste of his own medicine when it came to prying into things he didn't want others to know about, but she freely told him the answers to the questions he'd had the previous time he came as a peace offering before she let him go.

Matthew Tiffany - Agent Tiff, Nina Stenet, Victor Sage - The Question
- Agent Tiff arrived at Nina's laboratory to arrest her based on the extremely circumstantial evidence that she might have some connection to the Riddler. When given the choice to be questioned or be arrested she chose the latter, but when she was handcuffed in the FBI's van Agent Tiff decided to question her anyway, and when she wouldn't answer he shot her in the knee, doing that a second time when the first didn't work. But the Question, who had been keeping an eye on Nina, tried to rescue her. And between the subtle use of her power and his help she managed to escape, but the Question got caught instead.

Margaret Queen, Rebecca McNeal, Lisa Novak, Victor Sage - The Question
- Margaret was tending her cafe as Rebecca, Lisa, and Vic came in for a cup of coffee. Rebecca and Lisa talked about the recent doings of the FBI, causing Margaret to chime in with her two cents about how the criminals would respond. Eventually, Vic joined the conversation instead of just listening in as it turned to the subject of heroes and vigilantes and how they'll respond to the FBI. They also discussed the inability of most people to do anything about it. When the conversation wrapped up Margaret was given some very generous tips.

Dinah Lance - Black Canary, Victor Sage - The Question
- Black Canary was perched on a rooftop, where she was trying to decide when to make her move on some drug dealers, when Question appeared behind her. He gave her a lot of pointers and they talked about the FBI's presence. When the drug dealers moved, they did too, following to the docks where their boat was docked. Black Canary fought the thugs while Question rigged the boat up to burn.

Phoebe Knight - Force, Victor Sage - The Question
- Phoebe, bored out of her mind while waiting in a lobby, found something to do when she saw the Question being brought in. Finding his thoughts curious, she couldn't resist talking to him mentally. The Question, surprised to be in a mental conversation with a child, quickly learned of her allegiance to the FBI, but because she was a thoughtful child who could tell when someone was lying, talking to someone like him, whose opinions differed greatly from those who had surrounded her for her entire life, was very confusing. A philosophical conversation ensued about the difference between what is right and what is legal, leaving the girl with much to think about. But importantly, the Question's mask could not be removed, and if it wasn't removed he would probably die, and the girl was certain that wasn't right. So she wanted to help him escape, though she didn't like the plans he suggested. But, eventually, she decided to lend him one of her bobby pins and told him that whatever he did with it was his own fault. He used it to pick the lock on his cell and managed to escape.

Victor Sage - The Question, Nora Fries, James Gordon, Shayera Hol - Hawkgirl, Helena Bertinelli - Huntress
- The Question was wounded in his escape from the FBI and found himself in an alley. He ran into Nora, who wanted to help him, but he knew she couldn't do much. When the pair were spotted by Gordon, Question convinced Nora to go with him and reassured both of them that he'd manage. He was then found by Hawkgirl, who offered to fly him somewhere, so he suggested that they find Huntress. They did so, and Hawkgirl left him with her to take care of and promised to help find his car the next day.

Helena Bertinelli - Huntress, Victor Grant - Wulfen, Victor Sage - The Question
- Huntress and Wulfen, who had been doing what they thought was a basic drug bust, had both been knocked out during a fight and woke up separately on a decommissioned aircraft carrier. A voice from the speaker taunted them about kids being in danger elsewhere on the ship. The Question, who had seen them being taken into the ship, caught the owner of that voice and brought him along when he went to find the others.

Victor Sage - The Question, Helena Bertinelli - Huntress, Vicki Vale
- The Question, who had been keeping an eye on the Huntress for quite some time, spotted her being taken, unconscious on board a ship. To make matters worse, he spotted Vicki snooping around as well. The Question found the man who seemed to be keeping an eye on Huntress and brought him to her, though she was immediately suspicious of both men. The radio belonging to the man who had been caught by the Question crackled to life, but the Question's attempts to obfuscate the issue resulted in the men realizing the radio was no longer safe. Then the unstable ship shifted, leaving Huntress pinned under rubble, and the Question managed to get her free. Meanwhile, Vicki got caught by some men on the ship and only their paranoia caused by the radio silence kept them from doing worse than simply escorting her to somewhere she could be held.

- Bivins was surprised that his attempt to flirt with Diana succeeded, but then everyone was called to be seated for the dinner. At Table 1, Jeremiah and Gordon made polite conversation until they were joined by Bruce and Diana. Diana had to remind Bruce that he was at the gala with her because he was too distracted by worrying about Selina. At Table 2, Roy and Joan attempted to make pleasant conversation as the rest of the table were couples. Kory and Dick talked pleasantly with everyone, and Iris and Nathaniel fawned over each other. At Table 3, Babs was drunk and Charlotte was both appalled by this and took an instant dislike to Piper. The feeling was mutual. Piper chose to talk to Bivins instead, and both Elise and Renee were slow to arrive. At Table 4, Rooster shared her booze with Rowdy, who flirted with Lola even though she was clearly with Oswald. Rowdy spilled a drink trying to share the booze with Oswald, so Rooster took it back from him. Oswald treated Rowdy like he was nobody important. Rooster tried to encourage everyone to tell jokes, with slight success. Zahira just tried to remain unnoticed while Vicki tried to keep Rowdy corralled while casting jealous looks at Table 1. At Table 5, everyone awkwardly agreed that Selina had put them together on purpose. Harvey was tipsy but happy. Edward didn't cause any problems. Thomas and Helena made so many eyes at each other that Summer felt awkward sitting between them and offered to trade even though they insisted that they weren't together. After giving everyone a chance to get started on their meal, Lex gave a long, ego-driven presentation about how Gotham was horrible, but Metropolis had been horrible until he fixed it up so, of course, he could fix Gotham too. He explained some of his plans, and Selina offered a comparatively brief statement of support.

Helena Bertinelli - Huntress, Victor Sage - The Question, Selina Kyle - Catwoman, Leslie Thompkins
- Huntress was badly hurt after she escaped from a fight she wasn't ready for. She was found nearly passed out in an alley by the Question. He helped her get to his car, and as he drove her home she avoided telling him who had hurt her because she didn't want him getting involved. The Question managed to get Huntress to her apartment, but she was barely hanging on so he asked her if she had anyone to call. She said Catwoman and told him how to contact her. Catwoman gave him the number for Leslie.

Victor Sage - The Question, Shayera Hol - Hawkgirl
- The Question went to Shayera's place, where she was making herself breakfast for dinner. He talked about the Justice League, fishing for information about her departure. That put her in a bad mood, but her words were evasive and when he asked her directly what happened she didn't want to talk about it. However, the Question managed to glean enough from what little answers she gave to know what questions to ask at the Justice League, though when he said so she told him that it was pointless for him to be looking into it. She showed him the tracker Batman asked her to wear, which he immediately suspected was fake. She wouldn't answer any further questions about it, and Vic left with a parting verbal jab.

Victor Sage - The Question, Nina Stenet
- The Question was waiting when Nina arrived home. Nina didn't mind answering his questions, so she helped him ditch her bodyguard and went on a drive with him so that they could talk without fear of eavesdroppers. Nina explained to him that Lex was on a quest for immortality, and also explained her complex relationship with Lex and his projects. They agreed that immortality was a problematic thing for Lex to be after, so much so that Nina said she wouldn't mind if the Question shut down the whole operation, though she said she personally wasn't willing to do much of anything against Lex aside from chatting about it. The Question planned a visit to Lex's lab and dropped Nina off back at home.
