The rain was falling hard, steady pounding rhythm that beaded and dripped off the rim of his fedora. What part of his skin that it did make contact with was cold, almost freezing. The seasons were slowly creeping from Spring into summer. The chill was there with the rain. Like an infection slow spreading across. The noise that echoed from the streets below enhanced it.
Question watched the city continue despite the chilling rain. Someone had to be vigilant while the weather put most off from patrolling. Vic had no problem taking the rain. It was nights like this that he found himself asking question on where the other were. If he was the only one left that still had a wish to fight for the falling city. It was only nine and he had already stopped a handful of petty crimes. Nothing major yet, as long as he had something to do.
He turned an walked along the edge of the rooftop. His faceless visage watching the streets below before he ran across the roof. The water that pooled splashed against the leather of his boots. His right foot took the ledge as he jumped the gap between buildings. His left creating a solid footing on the next building. His coat stopped the rain from soaking him to the bone. Question had been out on the city before the rain started. Hoping that he would be when it ended as well. Though the night was still young.
So something was bound to rear it's ugly head before it ended. He continued to stalk the roof tops of the city's dreary skyline. The lights reflecting though the clouds like a flame in orange glow.
His paranoia level was through the roof tonight. It would be so easy for someone to use the beating noise of the rain to drown out their foot steps or racking of the slide of a gun. Evidence then simply washed down into the sewers. Vic knew that he caught any type of a cold that Helena was going to kill him. Though she would get over it

Wulfen was griping about being out in the rain. 'The blasted weather man said it wasn't going to rain today.'
'Well as you have pointed out they are often wrong.' Was the reply that his mental friend said.
'I know Lupin.' He replied back.
He didn't really expect to be out in the rain when he designed his costume. He made it so that he would look like an urban wolfman. Though now he looked more like a bipedal wet dog. But he just rolled with it. He was out patrolling and didn't have anything important to do the next day so he figured he would just suffer in the rain.
He kept walking along the roofs. He hadn't found anyone to fight, which honestly made him glad. But what worried was that everyone he found was taken out already. So he was also keeping his eye out for who was causing that. He kept his mental conversation with Lupin going. But he didn't stop paying attention to his surroundings. So far he didn't see anyone. He decided that he would sit down for a while. Plan out the next part of his patrol. So he ran over to a overhang on a nearby roof. He sat down under it and looked at the skyline of Gotham to find out where to go next.

He too had paused in his movements, taking the time to survey the area. Nothing as of the moment, crime was typically slow in the rainy weather. Though what was committed was typically a violent act. The kind of criminal Vic was so used to running into in his Hub City back in the days of his first few years of this life. Though Vic found himself suddenly correcting a previous thought he held. The coat only worked for so long against the rain. The woven wire mesh was great for stopping bullets of a lower caliber but not so much the rain. It must have been the suit jacket underneath keeping it off for as long as it was. That had just now come to an end. Such was the principle of things. The one night he didn't have the liner in the blasted thing an the sky decides to open up like a dam bust. Typical.
The face he made under the false flesh that covered his own was of course lost for any one to see other then the slight drop of his jaw line. Someone had to keep watch over the city. Might as well be him. With the lost look he let out a shape exhale of breath before continuing his trek. Just out of the corner of his eye he noticed what seemed to be something dropping from an over hang. There was no way of telling if it had just been an abused mind playing tricks on its owner or something in actuality.
It called for further investigation.
Vic changed his course an sprinted lightly across the shallow pools that were forming on the poorly draining roofs. Upon gaining ground on the over hang he slowed his foot falls to little to no noise. If it was something, The Question would rather have the drop on it. Better then him the prey. He leaned over lightly, seeing nothing on the ground. Maybe it or Some person ran off. Running, the tell tell sign of guilt.
He placed his glove hands on the thin metal of the hang before letting his body fall off the edge. Well this was an awkward moment. Vic paused, just hanging there in front of someone in a costume. A rather Caine looking one at that, but who was he to judge a disguise. Vic Had no face.
The Faceless Vigilante continued to hang there, for once the naturally sarcastic talkative man found himself a bit speech less.

Wulfen was waiting for some of the rain to drip off of him so that he could get moving again and not be instantly drenched. He found himself shaking off some of the rain much like a dog does. He thought he smelt something....... different it smelt like a person but not like anyone he knew. But of course he still hasn't mastered his "smell skill" as he calls it. But the smell kept getting stronger. He thought that it might just be the rain. Then eventually he was overwhelmed by the smell and sneezed.
'What is that smell?' He asked himself. Then at just that minute a figure dropped down and was hanging right infront of him. He jumped back and got ready to defend himself. When the figure didn't attack he lowered his arms. But not his guard. Wulfen simply looked at the man.
After a pause he asked. "Is this your overhang?" In a tone that he hoped sounded non-agressive. Which was true. Granted he was patroling but he was mostly trying to stay out of the rain. He looked closer at the man and didn't see and features on his face. 'Great now we got a faceless man here.' He mentally said to Lupin. Who only gave a mental grunt in response. Wulfen simply continued to stare at the man ready to defend himself at a moments notice. But trying not to show it.

"Um. No?" Were you the thing I saw drop off the ledge a few moments ago?" He asked in slight sarcasm. Feeling a bit better that this guy did not take the opportune moment to kick him from his rather vulnerable hanging position. Must be one of the new Vigilantes in town. A non violent but cautious reaction, signs pointed to yes. Vic adjusted his grip on the metal before dropping to the railing just slightly below it. His shoes easily landing on the rounded surface.
"you must be new here" More or less a face or costume he had not seen before. A lot must have happened in the city since his departure. It had not been safe fro him to stay after his run in with the FBI at the beginning of the silly little protect act. He was not going to chance Helena's safety while he perceived they were on the hunt for him. The best thing he could do at that point was get out of the city. Practically dropped off the grid. Paranoia at its finest really.

"I hope I was. Otherwise I might need to work on my awareness." Wulfen answered. He watched the man drop to the ground. He figured he was another crime fighter. Seeing as Wulfen was still standing. So with that knowledge he let himself relax a slight bit.
"Yeah I'm new. I've been here for a few months now." He said "So how did I tip you off?" He asked. He was wondering how he saw him. "I take it your a veteran then, eh? And nice mask." He said with a slight grin. He was alittle uncertain about this guy. Of course he was uncertain of everyone when he first met them. "I'm not doing anything wrong am I?" He asked almost out of reaction then anything else.

This guy had the right idea, If meet someone who's been doing what you just started for a good while longer. Ask for advice. Its not like Vic was going to just blow him off. Knowledge could be passed with no harm done. In fact the information could be the thing that saves the poor guys life one day. It was one of those thing, each move echoed further then one thinks. "Nothing you did to tip me off, If anything call it being in the right place at the right time, Or vigilance." Vic looked at the man's choice of costume. Interesting. Not the most practical, but interesting none the less. Then again this was the man who thought Batman's attire of choice was unpractical. He would also never be caught dead in spandex.
"I'll off you this, Come with me on the remainder of my patrol, I'll give you some pointers, besides its not as bad if your moving." Question said before he turned to quickly climb the fire escape of an adjacent building. The best vantage point was the higher roofs in the city. From there anything could normally be seen, an if not heard. He may not have had a fancy costume or a menagerie of gadgets. What he had was enough.
A roll of duct tape, tape recorder, his mask. No doubt two of the three had been left in the car, as to not become nothing but scraps from the weather.

Wulfen nodded. "Ok its nice to know that I didn't mess up." He said looking the other guy over. He didn't know the guy off hand. But that didn't mean much...... There we're alot of people who were alot less paranoid then Question that Wulfen didn't know off hand.
Wulfen looked at his costume he was glad that it wasn't a set of tights. But he was disappointed that it was now kinda wet. He then looked out at the falling rain and then back at this strange figure. "Ok I'll assume that your in charge." He said showing that he didn't like the role of leader. "Also I should probably work on this outfit, eh?" He added with a slight grin. "If its not to personal, who are you?" He asked. If this guy didn't want to tell him he understood. Also he didn't want to know his secret identity. He just wanted to know what to call this guy. He didn't want to be calling him. 'Hey you!' The rest of the night.
