Joker smirked when he saw You come back, he had some clothing with him, not exactly the same the henchmen were wearing, the clothing that the henchman was bringing seemed a lot heavier. Geez. Was he showing so much how bed he was feeling? If his body was starting to show it then time was running out faster than he thought. However, Joker didn't show his concern and instead his smile got wider when the henchman put the clothing on the bed near the clown.
"Ahhh...frozen pride is still pride!" was the only comment that he did to the henchman while he started wearing the clothes. Joker noticed that the henchman didn't look away not even for a second and he smiled, the henchmen were still afraid of him even after all that had happened. Good. His serial killer psycho side of him was unforgettable. He was unforgettable. Of course, the clown couldn't believe otherwise. He was too egomaniac. Especially a maniac.
Actually, Joker could snap at any moment and kill them all...not Freeze of course, but the henchmen, yes. Joker himself was aware that it could happen. Sometimes he just wanted to cause mayhem. Sometimes, it just happened. Clowns' minds were complicated...ask Pennywise. The Clown Prince...or maybe he was the King now...of Crime followed the henchman through a hallway that led to Mr. Iceman.
Joker looked at Freeze working on something, but he wanted to know if he had finished working on his acid "Have you finished with my acid?" Joker asked Freeze without beating around the bush although the clown always liked to beat, but he knew that it was better being straightforward with Victor "I hope the answer is yes because we'll need it to take the diamonds" Joker even wanted to ask Freeze whether he would have saved him if he had revealed where the diamonds were, but it was an useless question with a man like Victor.
Something that he had always found funny about Victor was his name...Fries...Freeze...c'mon! Joker shook his head, he felt that he was smiling and it wasn't the moment to think about funny coincidences. Okay, who was he kidding? It was always the time to think about fun stuff, but still. Joker kept looking at the Iceman with still that smile on. Joker was happy, if that was the right emotion, the clown couldn't tell, but the King was dead...after all it was god save the Queen...not the King.

Fully focused on his work, Victor doesn't look up from where he's noting something down on one of the many papers currently within arm's reach. Even then, he doesn't look up until he's finished writing the note. But then he sets down his pen as he replies, "As I said before, yes it is finished."
Stepping away from the table he was using, he moves to another - this one is near the back of the lab, and it's covered by a lot of things - and there are also a lot of things beneath it - which seems to indicate that these are things that are being stored instead of used at the moment. But though there are many vials on the table, he knows exactly where to find the one he wants. The Joker would no doubt instantly recognize its contents - the liquid inside is the exact same color as the acid that Victor was given before. Though it's quite clearly a liquid now, even though it's been sitting in the cold of the laboratory for presumably quite some time - proof that it's, like Victor said, finished. Along with the vial, Victor picks up a folded piece of paper that had been left next to it.
Turning back to the Joker, he offers both of them to him. "Your acid, and my notes," he states. In the notes Victor simply explains what he did to fix the acid in - not surprisingly - the most dry and technical terms possible. The Joker will probably have to take breaks to amuse himself at whatever point he decides to read it, even though it isn't even a page long.
With that order of business out of the way, he immediately proceeds to the next. "You said that you know where the diamonds are," he says, as that is the only other important thing for them to discuss. Not the fact that the clown is quite clearly ill and that it seems like it's probably quite serious. If anything, that makes the matter of the diamonds that much more urgent - if the Joker is going to get even worse, they'd better not wait until then to secure the diamonds. Victor would hesitate to consider the idea that the other rogue might be dying, however - the clown seems to be able to find his way out of situations, and very severe illnesses wouldn't be an exception.

Joker was feeling the cold through the many layers of clothing, yes he had even kept his own clothes underneath, but at least it was a bearable freezing thanks to the clothing. He shouldn't have felt so much he cold, he had been in even worse scenarios with far more coldness, but it was different now, he was different. However, he couldn't help but smile at the seeing of his acid, he grabbed it and then looked down at the note. He had to work on that note later, but he memorized what was written on it in case he lost the note or something.
Freeze reminded him that he had said to know where the diamonds were "Yep! Mister with frozen emotions! We're going to take the diamonds!" Joker said while putting away the acid and the note "Prepare yourself! We're gonna face an adventurous journey full of dangers! We'll even have to face a dragon!" he seemed that the Joker had just become one of those anchormen who announced awesome things.
Perhaps, he had to explain how he knew where the diamonds were "You see, there is a trick that magicians use often: make the audience focus on something unimportant while the real magic is unfolding" yep, that was the explanation, although he had said it out of nowhere so Freeze wouldn't probably know what he was talking about. Or he probably would. Freeze was a clever fella, his brain cells weren't frozen at all.
"We won't need your henchmen, they would just hinder us" Joker informed with a business tone. Well, if a clown could have one "Wear your armour and come with me into a world of pure imagination..." Joker shook his head, he was gonna sing, really. He coughed to change his tone and looked at Freeze "Wear your suit and follow me" he said with a speedy tone and started walking towards the door of the hideout.
The henchmen were looking at Joker and their Boss, waiting for instructions. Was their Boss really going to leave them behind because the clown told him to do so? Sure, they were afraid of the psycho clown, but they also knew that their Boss wasn't. At least, that was what they thought. Now, they looked at Joker waiting for their Boss, the clown was visibly ill, but still, they were sure that he could kill them all nonetheless.
Joker rose his greenish gaze and looked back at the henchmen then he stretched his red lips in a smile. The henchmen looked away. Joker giggled a little but then the giggle turned into a cough. The clown knew that they had to hurry up to grab those diamonds. He was aware of his condition. Joker laid his head against the wall and closed his eyes, waiting for Freeze.

Once again, Victor simply waits out the Joker's rambling until he gets to the actual point. He actually does follow what the Joker is saying, even though he doesn't react to it much. He's familiar with the tactic of distracting someone to get what you really want - he's used that himself a time or two - though he does wish that the Joker would skip the theatrics and simply say what he means. But asking the Joker to skip the theatrics is pointless, and he knows that, so he doesn't bother and simply endures it patiently.
When the Joker tells him to get his suit but leave his men, Victor simply says, "Very well." As stupid as it would be for most people, Victor trusts the Joker to a certain degree. He would only be concerned about the Joker telling him to leave his men behind if he thought he was being led into a trap. But he doubts that the Joker would do such a thing right now - partly because of the situation and partly because it's him. The Joker has little reason to turn on him right now, and if he did he knows who he's dealing with. Even the Clown Prince of Crime knows what it means to mess with Mr. Freeze - usually the cost is simply too high. It's not very hard to do something to disrupt Victor, or to get him to do something he doesn't want to do if you know how, but the man is notorious for holding a grudge and getting his revenge. In the end, using such tactic against Victor ends up being hardly worth it most of the time. So if the Joker says that the doesn't need his men, he's willing to take that at face face value, more or less.
He walks out of the room to where he's put his suit. He always designs his hideouts in such a way that his suit is as close as possible to his lab - that only make sense considering the fact that he never knows when he'll need to quickly put it on, and he spends most of his time in his lab. The suit itself is designed to be put on quickly as well - in an emergency, Victor could easily die of exposure very quickly if he couldn't immediately get into the cold, protective shell so of course he designed it to be very quick and easy to wear. So in only a minute or two, he is walking back toward the lab in order to rejoin the Joker. He doesn't say anything to his men, but the fact that he didn't object earlier and doesn't give them any indication now that they should follow is enough to inform them that he'll be going without them.
When he does find the Joker, he once again pauses and asks, "Are you all right?" Once again the question is not asked out of any actual concern for the man, but simply to verify that whatever medical condition he's facing won't negatively affect what they're about to do.

Joker felt so relaxed, so tired...so....Joker almost didn't hear Victor's voice. He opened his eyes and blinked more than once to let the blurry vision go away. Yes, he had almost fallen asleep, almost. He hadn't just completely fallen asleep because of Freeze's voice that woke him up before it was too late. Joker moved his head towards Freeze "What...? Oh, yes, yes, I'll be fine enough to go and take the diamonds" he didn't misinterpreted Freeze's question for concern and he had been taken aback from almost falling asleep so he wasn't even in the mood to make a joke about it, also he had already made a joke about it so it would have been repetitive.
The henchmen stayed in as ordered, happy to not have to deal with the Joker anylonger. The clown opened the door to the too-much-hot world for Freeze and stepped outside. He looked where they were, moving around, then he started walking left. It wasn't very far away, but they had to take different routes to not let anybody's attention up. Everyone could recognize Freeze, maybe not Joker though because he was still wearing the clothes that Freeze's henchmen had given to him, but Freeze was unmistakable in his suit.
Joker kept walking without saying anything, very odd of him. Usually, he never stopped talking. He just kept moving on, looking to the street, his hands in the pockets. It was like this for five minutes, then he looked up, they had arrived in front of a building, it seemed a storage of some sort. Joker walked around the building until he found the entrance that was a garage-door-like. Joker didn't open it, but instead knocked at the door.
For few minutes nothing happened then the garage-door went up, opening. No one was behind the door though, it must have opened in remote-control or something. The lights turned on when they entered in and the door closed behind them. This was indeed a storage full of toys and stuff like that. There was even a big dragon, representation of Spyro. A game show was gonna open soon in Gotham and this was the storage were all the things for that show were. Joker had been tampering with the toys to leave his mark on the game show, but they were here for the diamonds now.
There were toy swords all around Spyro, Joker took one and wiggled it, the sword's blade became much more solid, it had to be the same trick that Joker used with his cards. He had been tampering with the toys, after all. Then, Joker jabbed Spyro's belly. Diamonds started falling down from the wound. Joker had said that they were gonna face a dragon.

The length of time that Victor continues to look at the Joker when he declares himself 'fine enough' may indicate skepticism, or it may simply be the direction he chose to turn his head while he waits for the Joker to get going. It can be hard to tell with Victor sometimes.
Either way, he follows the Joker out of the building. Is he concerned that he'll be spotted? Somewhat, but again he trusts the Joker to be aware of that risk. He's sure that the clown is aware who would get the blame for any simple, ridiculous mistakes and how Victor handles things when someone else is to blame for his inconvenience. The diamonds he hopes to collect right now are to repay him for someone causing him inconvenience, after all. As for the clown's silence - well, Victor almost enjoys it. He can't actually enjoy it because the silence makes it easier to hear his suit, which only reminds him that he's sealed away from the rest of the world and unable to enjoy the simple pleasures of a walk outside, and also because his beloved Nora isn't here with him. Still, though he has a high tolerance for things that many others find to be annoying, such as the clown's voice, it's more pleasant to not have to tolerate a thing that you can tolerate because it isn't there.
As the Joker leads him to the diamonds, he glances around himself - especially when they enter the building. But unlike many who would peer around in fascination at the unusual surroundings, he simply glances around to see if there is anything around that he finds interesting. And no, no he does not. It all looks pretty boring to him, actually - so many completely useless objects.
Well, except he supposes that he can appreciate the fact that the dragon makes a very obscure container - not many would expect diamonds to be hidden there, which is exactly why it's a good hiding spot. Victor can appreciate it for that much. But of course it's the diamonds themselves that really matter to him - the moment that they appear he cups his hands to catch what's spilling out - the Joker might notice that the red glow of the goggles covering his eyes suddenly lights up more brightly. It always does whenever Victor looks at something quite intently, as the HUD's computer takes this as a sign that he wants more information about whatever he's looking at - in this case the diamonds. Are they real? How many of them are there? What is their size and quality? His HUD scrambles to quickly provide him with this information.
To say that Victor has a thing for diamonds would be putting it mildly. Of course, unlike most people with a thing for diamonds, his interest is not in their beauty - instead they are a fuel source to him. Still, since they're what power his suit and his suit is vital to his quality and quantity of life, the sudden appearance of so many is quite distracting to him, actually. The Joker will simply have to pardon him for simply standing there and staring at them for a moment.

Joker observed the Ice-Man. The diamonds were catching his soul. Joker smirked a little, but then started coughing. Argh. However, Joker looked around until he saw a clock on the wall "Okay, take your stuff and let's go" the clown put his arms into a pile of toys nerby and took a brown bag, big enough to put inside the diamonds, Joker threw it at Freeze "If you need it" then he waited for him to actually move instead of just staring at the diamonds.
They needed to go because this place was gonna open soon, sure, Joker would love to just kill them all, but he didn't know about Victor. So, he simply leaned his back against the dragon and crossed his arms over his chest while looking at Freeze. He better hurry up. Although, now that Joker thought about that, he didn't really need to stay there. He had received his acid back that Victor had fixed so he was good to go.
Joker stood and patted Freeze on his cold shoulder "It has been fun! Ciao!" because really, he didn't have any reason to stay. So, he started walking away, but not going back from where he entered. Another door opened and Joker used it to go out. There was a reason why Joker had just used the backdoor and it was because the workers had finally arrived to do their jobs.
They entered the place, talking to each other, unaware of Victor's presence in the facility. Luckily for them, Joker wasn't in the area anymore. The clown was actually happy that his acid worked because now he could use it. In the place, the workers started turning on all the lights, they still hadn't noticed the wounded dragon or Mr. Freeze. Well, all of this wasn't Joker's problem anymore, was it?

In spite of his apparent transfixion, it isn't very difficult to draw Victor's immediate attention away from the diamonds - just don't expect him to leave without them. Which is why he immediately uses the offered bag to hold the diamonds - he can't trust his hands to hang onto them. Covered in heavy gauntlets that protect him from both the temperature and injury, while in his suit his hands aren't as good at hanging onto small objects and they would otherwise be.
And, though he doesn't know like the clown does why they shouldn't linger, he can tell that the fellow rogue is in a hurry and doesn't imagine that it would be for no reason. Still, he does take a moment or two to check both the dragon and the floor for any stray diamonds that didn't make it into the bag. Each one matters to him and though ideally he'd like to leave before he's spotted, it would be worth it for even one more diamond. And it's not like he hasn't fought his way out of situations before, even singlehandedly.
So he ends up being a moment or two behind the Joker in leaving, which is long enough for one of the arriving workers to spot him. But he hasn't escaped Victor's notice either, so about the same instant that he's noticed, he has his cold gun pointed at him. "Silence," he says, which does the trick. The man is scared speechless until he's had a chance to leave, and whatever happens after that doesn't matter. Some might mistake the fact that Victor chose to spare him as a sign of caring, but it's quite the opposite. Perhaps one of the more sadistic Rogues would have killed the man as a matter of course, but the noise of the cold gun would likely have attracted just as much attention as someone screaming so it was a better idea to leave him alive if he would simply be quiet for a moment.
Seeing as he's unfamiliar with the building whereas the Joker seems to not be, Victor heads out the same exit. From there it isn't very difficult for him to find a way back to his hideout without being seen - while he's hardly the least obvious person, it isn't like this is the first time he's had to find his way from one place to another without being seen so he has his methods. Just so long as he doesn't have a vigilante on his tail, they work just fine.
