Mentioning Captain Aldrich does nothing to calm Poison Ivy down. As Batman surely knows, the man's action has put his life in severe danger - Gotham's most powerful female rogue is known to hold a grudge, and now he's on her list. There hasn't been any sign that she's tried to go after him yet - she's been to concerned that attempting it now would be too predictable and that would be used against her somehow - but she extremely likely to at some point. She's waited years to get her revenge against someone before. On the other hand, she's also dropped her grudges before - usually when time has passed and she decides that she has more important things to do. However, given just how angry she is at Captain Aldrich for this incident, it seems unlikely that she'll drop this one.
The deal that Batman offers doesn't seem to go over well either. "Relocate them?" she asks in total disbelief, "Don't lie to me, darling! And even if you were telling the truth, half of them would die through mishandling, and do you have any idea how hard being moved is on a plant? And don't think that you can fool me into believing that I'd go back to the asylum - no, no, I would get thrown into that new City. No thank you, I'm not interested."
Having said that, she has a further protest. "And here you are, trying to distract me with unreasonable deals again! I'm trying to have a conversation with you about this, but all you keep giving me are threats! You won't even answer a simple question!" she points out, sounding extremely frustrated. And though Poison Ivy lies easily about anything and everything, that much rings true - she's wanting to talk about this. Perhaps that's because her actions are matching her words for once - she doesn't appear to have released any of her trademark pheromones, let alone attacked him in any way. On the other hand, she's starting to get quite upset - she even ignores the nudging vine at first, only resuming her stroking of it when it becomes quite insistent, and even then she's very distracted and seems to be responding to it only to get the vine to stop.

He gave a short sigh. This was unlike her...she wasn't falling into her usual patterns. That made her even more dangerous in batman's eyes. Still, he calmed himself and continued speaking in that calm, measured tone, "fine...fine we can just talk. But how do expect me to trust you when I'm surrounded by your...babies. Let go somewhere else. Somewhere more private and talk. Jus to show you I'm serious..." He brought the detonator from behind his back and disarmed it. The red flashing light turned a solid blue and batman dropped it at his feet, kicking it over to Ivy...of course he didn't tell her the gel could still be activated by his gauntlet. Another trick or was batman being genuine? It would be hard to tell, but at least he was listening. Of course, Ivy was smart enough to know that secluding herself from her plants would leave her totally unarmed in a fight with batman. But would she be willing to risk that in order to talk with him?

At first when Batman seems to relent, Poison Ivy stares at him skeptically, though when he disarms the detonator and gives it to her, she looks surprised. And almost instantly there's a noticeable drop in the level of tension in the room - not only does this make Poison ivy less on edge than she was before, but the plants responding to her moods seem to relax to a certain degree as well. It's as if a snake that was poised to strike has now relaxed. Of course that doesn't mean that the snake isn't still dangerous, or that Poison Ivy isn't still quite angry about both the tree and the conversation, but because she now believes that her plants can't be harmed at the mere push of a button there is a lot less on her mind. She takes the detonator, glances at it, then holds it out to the side - a thin vine appears and takes the device away, out of the aviary.
"You're trying to trick me, aren't you darling?" she accuses, though she also seems to be considering the idea. She doesn't trust Batman, but she glances reflectively around herself - she supposes that he does have a point about the general level of threat to him at this particular location. Does he even know how many very dangerous things are in here? Probably not... On the other hand, she most certainly doesn't like the idea of ending up somewhere without her plants - or away from the park, for that matter.
When she finally speaks, she sighs in a relenting fashion and says, "We can move this to the roof, if you wish." And it should be immediately obvious to Batman why she's making that suggestion. It isn't exactly secluded, but more of a compromise between what he probably wants and remaining here. If this conversation turned violent, she'd have a much harder time attacking him there - he'd have much more room to fight or flee as he desired and her plants would have a harder time reaching him. But it also keeps them inside the borders of the park and means that she would still have a few plants immediately on hand - vines, mostly.

Normally, the batman would have dropped a smoke pellet and disappeared or grappled up to the roof...but this is what the old West referred to as a Mexican stand off and he just relinquished his pistol to the enemy. This was not the time to get cute...he simply looked for the stairwell and held the door open, "after you..." it should be obvious why he wanted her first, he could watch her from there and make sure nothing happened to him once he got to the roof. If she entered, he would follow at some distance behind and once they got to the roof, he would begin.
"Francis Jenson, Emilia Wu, Pedro Martinez, Bob Weaver, and Timothy Gregory...you wanted their names. I have them memorized. Emilia was only 36." At that...he couldn't help but scowl. That rage built its way back up and batman had to force it down. He took a deep silent breath and let his features relax. He unballed his fists and spoke to her plainly, "you're smart ivy...you know you'll have to do time for this. There's no getting around it, all we can negotiate for now Is the safety and protection of your plants. If you want them to be safe, you'll come with me. Because you know the police won't care. They'll burn it to the ground on principle."

If they had been anywhere else, Poison Ivy would have also viewed Batman's indication that she should go first as a sign that she was about to be tricked as well - and she has her own way of going to the roof that's just as dramatic as Batman's smoke pellet and grapple gun method. But they're currently in a place that she regards to be her own home, and she's confident enough to take the lead up the staircase without complaint. In fact, she gives him a look of slight contempt as she walks past him, likely believing that his caution is a sign of paranoia - as if she'd go through all this annoyance to have an actual conversation with him, only to ambush him on a staircase!
When she reaches the roof, she keeps walking until she's near the edge. The aviary is quite tall, above the level of most of the surrounding treetops, that makes this place an excellent location to look over the park. It's changed considerably since Poison Ivy took over, even though it's only been a few months. It's quite a bit greener - the areas that used to have extensive lawns are being taken over by trees and shrubs. Many of the plants look quite exotic - they don't look tropical or otherwise out of place in this climate (at least the ones that are outside), but they do look like something unlikely to have come straight out of nature. But most of them are off in the distance - what is nearby are vines - they've climbed up the walls of the building and have reached the roof.
She's looking out at the view of the park when Batman speaks, turning back as he finished listing off the names with seeming reluctance. None of them seem to have any effect on her at all, though his comment about Emilia's age irritates her. "That tree is only nine," she retorts, anger quickly coming into her voice. She still can't tell if it can be saved or not - the flames are extinguished, but plants - especially trees - respond to injury quite differently than people and animals. The tree is still reacting to the initial shock of what happened - it will be awhile yet before it can determine and report to Poison Ivy just how badly off it is. She only knows that it's bad - very bad.
The rest of what Batman says causes her to scoff. "My sentence hasn't changed in years, darling - psychiatric rehabilitation. Because I'm 'crazy'. So I need to be 'cured'. No matter what I do, that will never change. Except now they've dispensed with that farce and are now simply locking up all of their 'problems' into one giant box. And like I said, I'm not interested," she replies, "Besides, the police will burn it all to the ground on principle the moment I'm gone. It doesn't matter whether I come willingly or not - it all ends up the same for my innocent little babies."
Having said that she pauses, frowns, and her expression becomes annoyed, "But once again you've pulled me off topic with your pointless, one-dimensional thinking. You're being as bad as Harley right now - though at least she picks more interesting topics of conversation than repeatedly telling me that I should forget all logic and surrender." She sighs and forces herself to get back to the point. "I didn't ask you for their names - though I didn't recognize any of them so that at least tells me your problem isn't with anyone I set out to kill. I asked when and I asked where. Can you answer that? Or is your brain so full of testosterone that you can't remember the details that are actually important?" she adds, restating her questions.
