After The Outsiders had shut down of the attack that was set for the club down in Bludhaven, long before it could actually come to pass. The team then split up for the night. Least for now, as the cities didn’t need them right now. Either had the police or Batman. It was wise they didn’t step on those toes, but it meant they might get a little free time. Not the Outsiders was sensually about friends, but… Well, technically this was still in the lines of work. As Arsenal left with Supergirl, to head to the Bunker. Suppose if it led to something other than work, it didn’t exactly count when it was just two of them, but Arsenal didn’t really need to play with it that much. Who really was there to judge? And Arsenal could care less if they did. Happy to also leave the happy couple behind. Leaving the dark sided street. Only to turn down another one, with a steady pace. In his search for his bike. It wasn’t a long search, uncovering the crap that had fallen on it. Lightly shining the engine. it wasn’t perhaps as flashy as Nightwing’s or even as flashy as Arsenal used to have, but it was still his. Built it himself, as most things now he had either had to steal or make himself, but he was far from someone who’d complain.
”What a night, huh? You don’t have to come with me, its not often we’d get low nights… Thats if it even stays that way… Of course thats not to say, I don’t enjoy the company… I wouldn’t be much of a gentleman, if I didn’t offer you a ride.”
Arsenal remarked as motioned and soon stood at his bike. His gaze half motioned to the night sky, with the speckled of stars and the dim light posts dotted about. Referring to the action they had just been through, the lack of it for the rest of the night and simply the night in general. That and making conversation, which Roy hardly lacked of. As then turned. Looked to Supergirl, catching the flow of her golden hair. The red. The blue. It could almost seem out of place in a dark place like this, but perhaps that was the point. That string of hope. Assuming she had already agreed to go to the Bunker with him, Arsenal couldn’t help feel a little guilty if she was wanting to spend her, what free time they had this night in the bunker. Rather than go to a club. Watch a movie. Heck, go to bed which Arsenal wasn’t even sure the last time he went to bed before midnight, he suited nights better, but was kinda odd to really think about it. That couldn’t be exactly normal. Suppose he could figure that out more when he was 6 feet under… Of course anything could spring up and change the plans tonight. As his gaze half motioned to the sky and around them again… Before, expressing, he did not mind the company. He was most happy for it, but he couldn’t be too selfish that, right? Grabbing at his helmet. Before motioning a leg either side of his bike, with feet on the ground to properly balance it. Momently rested the helmet just in front of him on the seat. Before motioning room and offering Supergirl a ride. It felt rude not to, perhaps she’d prefer to fly, but if she did not. Then there was a place on his bike, he’d happily offer. He was no flash, but he was still Speedy. No matter how old he got.
”Though, you don’t mind if we stop on the way…? I’m quite starved… I’m thinking Japanese? Unless, you’d have something else in mind?"
Added Arsenal, as he asked Supergirl. Just a small pit spot. With their luck at the time still before midnight. Some places would be still open, seemed only natural to take advantage of that. Especially if it meant spending who knows how long in the bunker. Arsenal could least do with more food inside him… Hmmm, perhaps even if he’s lucky there be a fight or something he could catch on tv. Whilst of course monitoring the city. He could multi-task. As Arsenal offer a rather playful grin to Supergirl, he wasn’t exactly all business. He maybe a leader, but the dude got to eat some time. He really wasn’t thinking much, other than Japanese simply popped into his head. Thinking of places along the way. Places he probably visited frequently on the late nights monitoring everything in between. There was a good place that made gumbo near sort of the south of the docklands, but questionable if that was open. Half thinking dumplings. Stir-fry. Sushi. Not that he was thinking that much, as his tongue could drool for just about anything at this point. As he happily offered Supergirl to pick something else. He really wasn’t fazed about it… Though, he motioned to a compartment on his bike. Pulling out a jacket. Slipping his arms in it, putting it on. It be enough to make his gear blend in more naturally, than stand out all heroic like. Before kick starting his bike’s motor up. Rumbling gently beneath him.

"It was interesting enough," Kara replied at first.
Supergirl landed on the ground as she had been following not too far off from Arsenal. She'd rather spend more time with him then be the third wheel between Nightwing and Starfire. Those two had a chemistry that was best to get away from sometime considering the conversation could be quite close between the two and the people around them are lost to the words between the two.
Not that those two weren't together almost every single night even outside of the Outsiders missions.
Supergirl looked at the bike and at Arsenal at the mention of offering her a ride. If it weren't Roy who had been asking she would have been dry and to the point about her being able to fly. She could be quite to the point on subjects. And definitely not afraid to speak her mind on any subject/situation. Though with Roy...it was different. Sometimes Kara even found it difficult to find the words to say around him. She wasn't as critical when she was around him it seemed. Unless he did something to annoy her.
"Don't you think I might stand out a bit in this," Kara pointed out the fact that she was still dressed as Supergirl. Nothing that in a few seconds she couldn't figure. What with having super speed and all.
So she wasn't saying no to him. She just didn't want to draw all that much attention to them.
At the mention of stopping and getting something to eat, Kara was interested in going with him.
"I could go for some sushi, maybe even a bento box," Kara added in. She was actually starting to feel a little bit hungry.

There was the slightest draw on Roy’s lip at the vagueness of Kara’s response to the events so far in the night. Suppose it was only just, when it was all in a days work. A goon after another goon, they do tend to blend into one on occasion. Hell, even literally at times. Somehow, Roy was glad they hadn’t have to deal with that. Although, its not to say he couldn’t have found fun in that. It really was unusual at this night to just kick back. Whilst he wasn’t highly obsessive like Dick was in his work, Roy was more in line with the thrill of it all. Being active. Thus the times when one forgets food. Which perhaps explained a little in regards to his slightly slender frame, but he took as much care to work out as he could. Least what he needed. He was no heavy lifter. He was an archer. Relied on his reflexes. As was extremely natural as he sat himself upon his bike. Pulling for his helmet. With the little visor open as he looked to Kara. Offering enough time to see if she indeed wanted to tag along with him. Along with the excuse to stare at her. Not all that creepy of course. He amused at the look she gave to his bike. Suppose it wasn’t entirely in style for a Super, when they could fly. Then as she commented about standing out, even so much as to point at her costume. It was only natural to look, as his eyes scanned seamlessly down her petite frame and long legs. Bringing them back up. Roy chuckled!
”You can put this on, if you want… When no one is expecting it, they tend not to notice the rest… Whether its Supergirl on the back of a motorbike or walking into a sushi bar.”
With confidence and no real concern. Suppose he wasn’t used to wearing the bright colours, hiding his red pants with a jacket was usually all he needed, as he was now. As he motioned to the bag at the back. Pulling out another one of his jackets and offering it to her. Not having the ability to quickly change, Roy was too lazy to really put much effort in it most of the time… He was sure with the jacket covering most, save her skirt, it was less likely one would so easily jump to Supergirl. Like she was the only one in a blue skirt. Like he was the only one with red pants. As he said people were hardly like to expect to see a superhero, certainly in the unlikely places. Perhaps, Roy was just to chilled for his own good. Free spirited. Risk taker. This really seemed less of a risk. Unless of course, Kara was wanting to hang out for a long time at the food joint. Then… Maybe. Whatever. Roy smiled and shut his visor. Offering a hand to help her to the back of his bike.
”I love sushi… Hmmm, what the hell… Why not do both? Live a little, Supergirl!”
Mmmm, there really was nothing like raw fish or varies things wrapped in seaweed. Strangely it was delicious, even for Roy. Although he stopped at tuna. That was practically like eating cat food. Yuck… He didn’t even let that enter his mind or wreck his need for food. Japanese food. Whilst he wasn’t strapped with a lot of cash, he certainly had enough for food. Survival. It was cool. It had very much been Roy’s actions that led him to this state and he’d literally grown up with nothing. Grew up in a tribe down south. He was well equipped for the living in the woods. Camping, was easy. Of course it wasn’t unlike Roy to grab at anything free when he had the chance. Kicking his bike into gear. Letting the engine roar, with no hiccup. He was a decent mechanic, extremely decent. If did say so himself. Driving them out of the alley and down the streets of central Gotham. In direct to one of the entrances to the Outsider’s Bunker, which often really felt like his, given the amount of times he crashed there… Though of course. He knew a good Japanese place on the way. With little bit that a bump here after coming over the bridge. With the breeze meeting them face first. He soon swerved into a turning lane, that brought him to a car park to the Japanese restaurant and take out.
”Do you want to eat in… Or take away, milady?”
Keeping his engine still going, as he come to stop and balanced the bike with his feet either side of the ground. He’d mostly just taken out at this place, but suppose by the looks from the window. The place wasn’t all that packed this evening. Not wanting to decide and to of course be the gentleman. Roy asked Kara, to decide. He was completely ready for anything. Just he knew food, as he caught the scent as the door had been pushed open. He was damn hungry. His stomach even rumbling through the sounds of his bike!

"Thanks,' Kara replied as she took the jacket from Arsenal.
It was a better idea an showing off that she had super speed and running off to get changed and coming back there. That seemed to defeat the whole purpose of going out on the way back to the bunker now didn't it?
"Yes, but tell me how many other girls can pull off a dead ringer of myself then," Kara mused at the thought as she put the jacket on.
She wasn't sure at the human ability to mimic or look like the heroes that run about. It wasn't like she did an internet search to find out these things. What did she care, she IS Supergirl.
Kara joined him on the back of his motorcycle. It would be easy enough to follow his leaned. She had no fear of these earth vehicles. She could do worse and more death defying stunts when she flew.
As he drop, Kara hung onto Roy lightly. She didn't want to hurt him with any of her strength by accident. It was easy for her to hear his voice over the wind, given her super hearing.
"Why don't we eat out? Give us a chance to get away from the bunker a little longer yet," Kara chimed in.

There was an added warmth to his grin, as Kara took his jacker with such gratitude. He could almost feel it as he grazed her fingers. All beautiful and strong. He wouldn’t have stopped her had she sped off to get changed, to be honest that had even crossed his mind. Which it wasn’t like he didn’t know what it was like to have superhero friends with identities. Suppose it all just rolled into one these days. Perhaps in all of what made Kara glorious, he could still perhaps show her a few things what it meant to be human. Suppose, it didn’t also hurt to see Kara in his jacket. He needn’t debate who wore it best. She knocked it out of the park… Or alleyway… Where the hell were they again? Oh, right… Fleet street. He was certainly happy to leave it behind and its disco lights. He really didn’t need a reminder of Dick, getting position or that suit. Of course, there was also the bitterly chill of the winter cold starting to kick in. His suit certainly kept him warm enough, but he still preferred factory made heat. Or a fire… Hmmm, a fire sounded good. Roy half dazed, his eyes half dancing with the flow of Kara’s hair… Snapping back to her eyes as she spoke… Oh, crap! It was sort of that question, he knew for sure if he answered wrong, he’d be in the dog house. Depending on the dog house she had in mind, maybe he… Or, she could super kick him. Damn, it. Why the hell did he kind her cute, when she was angry? He might, just have the courage. He amused himself.
”Well, maybe not down to the freckle, there is only one original… If you play it like you have nothing to hide, then its really unlikely anyone will expect your anything than human… If your cousin can get away with glasses, you can pull off my jacket… Well, not literally. Its a nice jacket!"
The loose swag of a smile came across his lips. His hand that had offered to take hers to help her to his bike, he lingered gently in no rush, as he spoke to her. Namely about her freckle. His hand escape from her hand, to lightly trail down her neckline, like he didn’t notice the finer details and subtly removed his hand, casually catching the loose strands of her golden hair. Before at least encouraging her, with what he could. He seriously wasn’t going to force her, if she didn’t, but he honestly wasn’t worried about it. Half the time even though people judged, many just cared about their own world. Smiling as his hand did motion upon the arm of his jacket he was wearing, there was a compliment shoved there if she was delicate enough to find it, before teasing she don’t go ripping it off. Least not so soon and certainly not so roughly. Of course, somehow he was sure he’d find the will in him to forget the jacket. He’d just have to find her a new one… Of course, he was happy to get them both on the road. As he didn’t linger that long, before he’d zoomed and left the disco party behind. With no complaints with Kara hanging on. He very much encouraged her to hang on, but he was thankfully he wasn’t getting crushed. Least not yet, the night had barely begun… It hadn’t been long, until he reached the Japanese restaurant. As he’d sat still upon his bike to give Kara the offer, he’d half turned his head as she had responded and expressed a smile.
”Perfect!"
What, the hell? Why not be normal for a moment? Roy then pulled in a little more off into a parking space, just off from the entrance. Turned his bike off and kicked out the stand as he hopped off. Oh, crap… That was one thing, he certainly didn’t need to bring with him. Roy swiftly, yet casually unhooked his mask from his eyes. It was easy to forget. To that he pulled off his cap. Scuffing up his own hair. Hmmm, looking back at Kara. Motioned closer. With a slight bite of his bottom lip. He could definitely breathe in her scent. He motioned with two fingers below her chin, just below her sweet dimple. With a simple look in her eyes, he then motioned to place his generic worn out grey coloured cap on her head. Tucking some of her hair behind her ears. Of course there was no stopping her taking it off!
”If you are concerned… That might help, no one should suspect… If by chance anyone asks, you’re a fan!"
Roy said as he offered Kara. Just to put together the look of her skirt and his jacket. Now a cap, that least avoid showing some of her face if she didn’t want to… Of course, once seat, it was probably safe to take it off. It was really a spur idea and offer. Although, again, she certainly looked good in. He was pretty sure no one would guess it was Arsenal’s cap, he could be cheap and well, he wasn’t exactly as popular as Superman… To that thought, he offered his hand to lead them to the door. Before mindfully slipping his hand around her waist, as he opened the door and allowed her to go in before himself. Being a gentleman goes a long way. Coming into the now very Japanese decorated restaurant. It wasn’t huge, it was overly fancy, but it was authentic good food. Fresh, no less. Quickly being met with a waitress dressed in a kimono. With a table for two. The waitress, led them passed a few seating places, only a few filled. They’d stopped mid back of the restaurant, to their seating. It was tatami style, so practically sitting on the ground, with a hole for their feet under the table. It was a good way to hide the legs, the red pants. The Supergirl boots. Roy with a hand, offered to help Kara with her seating, before Roy got on the ground for his. With menus given. The Waitress then asked for any beverages. Roy proceeded to ask for a Ramune, a Japanese soda. He was tempted by a Roy Rogers, but maybe later.

"I won't damage the jacket," Kara assured him on that.
She noticed his hand linger a moment as he mentioned about her slight freckles and grazed her hear with his hand as he lead her toward the bike.
Kara was willing to follow him around tonight. She had no problem with that. It was easy ti forget about your day's worries when being around Roy.
So much so that when they got the the restaurant, Kara had even forgotten he still and his mask on. She did her best to hold back a slight laugh over seeing his quick action.
"I'm sorry, I should have warned you. I've gotten so used to seeing you wear it, that I even forget at times," she apologized for the possible someone one seeing them and knowing it's Arsenal.
Kara climbed off the bike was well, following suit of Roy. It was then that he turned around and placed his cap upon her head. Even taking the time to sweep some of her hair back as he then looked into her eyes. She felt a shiver go down her spin at this gesture. She had been close with him before, but now they were out spending time together alone. It had been while since besides being in the bunker.
It was so easy to fall into stride as she took his hand. Soon to feel his hand slip to her waist.
"Thank you," she said as Roy held the door.
The restaurant was charming in it's way. Maybe a little over down with the decorations. One didn't need to over do the decor. It seemed a bit distracting. Though the dimly lite space helped down play the drama of the decor in spots. And there was a small number of other people within the place at this hour. Which was even nicer.
Kara took the small gestures of Roy being polite and followed as they were seated at their table. Kara simply ordered some green tea to start out with as they would look through their menus.
"So start with sushi or just jump in and order both," Kara asked.

Hmmm? Perhaps could be potentially questionable, as Roy took her words with a mild mused smile upon his slight rough lips. With a simple look, though could that truly ever be simple? She was super after all, usually coming with strength and all those other lovely goodies. That it was possible damage could befallen his jacket, Though in all honesty it really didn’t even remotely bother him, despite what people may thought of him when he was boy with money. He still always the boy that came from a whole lot less and as his luck seemed to strike often. He found himself in such situations again, though slightly better off than many. He really wasn’t much one to complain. All he had to his name was him. No family. He had a whole lot less to lose… Or did he?
”So long as you are undamaged, Kara. You can do whatever you want to my jacket."
Roy then assured Kara and honestly meant it. With a confident wink. He could toy and play, but anyone who truly knew him. Knew how important the people that were in his life. Suppose damage was in most case superficial when she was immune to so much, but then so was Donna. Almost at the same level. In their line of work, anything was probable as far as he was concerned. Of course in this so called fairytale, he’d probably more likely end up being the damsel, but he wouldn’t hesitate saving her in return when she needed him. Which, perhaps was happening right now. Or, really both ways, as Roy was himself very much in need to saving his stomach from completely flipping circles. Its that kind of thing, when in middle of battle you can easily forget, but then after… It just sneaks up and bam. Ok, maybe it was a little dramatic, but its definitely something you feel. If anything fuel for the next battle in most cases. With the simple lingering gestures, he was more than delighted with Kara joining him.
Naturally of course, upon arriving, he would forget one thing and ultimately something that would be putting him some display. His mask. It didn’t freak him out greatly, but he certainly made a point to quickly strip it off. Catching notice by Kara of course. Just moments after trying to assure she had no worries about her blowing her identity, he then forgets his prime piece in his costume. Somewhere, Dick… Well, really Roy doesn’t need to even guess. He could already hear the ringing in his ear. He half played to get rid of it, before he was most gracious to be distracted by Kara’s words. Apology? Roy frowned as to why she would feel she needed to apologise for it, it was his own darn fault, but surely it was sweet she cared. His frown faded mostly into a smile again, at the delight she seemed to admit about his mask. Somehow he wondered if this fell upon the same kind of line with women who dug men in costumes, namely a doctor or a cop. Suppose, Arsenal was up there, somewhere. Hopefully she wasn’t so disappointed he was, just Roy for now. As he placed another very important of his costume, upon her golden head. His cap. He wasn’t going to argue, she made it look better.
”No need, hon. It was my fault. Suppose even after all the many years, I can still slip up somewhere. No big deal… Well, it is a very cool mask, I cannot blame you."
With little hesitation Roy at least attempted to assure Kara had nothing to do with his little trip up. It was purely on him and he’d own it. It was certainly on the lower part of the ladder of the stupid things he’s done, but it sure wouldn’t of helped. Though, it was still in the grander scheme of things, it was a minor thing and like most things. Roy would and could let it go. Call it the free spirit in his nature, of course in making a note to be more careful next time, but in some cases it was a reminder he was going to be at times ‘mistakingly human’… Of course in turning with his slight playful manor, hiding any or most insecurities as best he could, when speaking up the coolness of his mask. He should know, he made it. When it went on, his playful mannerisms were greatly put in the shadows… Where as now, they were potentially flourishing. Of course he usually didn’t fail when one needed to be a gentleman. As he had offered with the opening of the door. Sure, he didn’t make a obviously note of the potential lump somewhere in his throat, as he smiled at her gratitude, before following Kara shortly after into the restaurant. Finding a table and ultimately finding a seat. Apart from the little bike ride, it felt like he hadn’t sat down in hours, maybe more. Whilst he liked being on his feet. Active. It was certainly nice to just, sit. Sit in a place that could almost make you think this little world had no evil, or at least a whole lot less. It could almost make one feel normal, but Roy had never been born into any normal standards. Not even in a house, he was raised in the forest. Restaurants and fancy places had once been far away. Of course with Ollie in his stint, brought a whole lot of it at the forefront. With the drinks ordered, the waitress left them be for a few as she went to get their drinks. Now, food! Roy wasn’t entirely sure his appetite, than really he just knew he was hungry. He could almost eat anything. As flipped open the menu, suppose it was natural for there to be so many options. Possibly too many… As he half felt his mind stretched too far, he retracted his gaze as Kara spoke up and he much delighted for it.
”Hmmm, we could always get the special for two. It has a healthy combination of both, with soup, salad, rice and dessert? Or not, if its a step too far?"
Somehow it was perhaps natural as he skimmed down to the special for two, flipping over his menu on the table somewhere in front of Kara, to show her his suggestion. Just a suggestions, perhaps it would be too much food, although it didn’t appear to be anymore in money, so that was the bonus of course… Or perhaps it was too suggestive. Not that Roy wouldn’t, but he wasn’t often that sentimental when it came to value for food. Then again he was Roy and you cannot count out what he had up his sleeves. Sometimes nothing, something everything. There was at least high chance he had some level of weaponry with him. He’d almost feel naked if he didn’t. Not that he was overly paranoid, just cautious!

Kara noticed that Roy was going to be rather persistent on letting her barrow his jacket for the evening while they were out. "Alright, I'll try to take care of it. Just don't say I didn't warn you if something happens," Kara replied as she slipped the jacket on.
Being an hero, an Outsider, one could never tell when trouble might rough up in Gotham. They were always on guard when it come to their line of work. Kara for one new that. She had often seen Roy say up for days trying to work on these missions at times. He was the leader and a lot weighed on his shoulders.
Kara couldn't rightly say she knew the feeling. After all, she was an alien. The main weight on her shoulders was the expectation everyone seemed to hold for Supergirl to live up to the image of her cousin, Superman.
"I think you look rather fine with or without the mask," Kara spoke rather openly the thought on her mind.
Though she did not blush or turn away like it had ben an accident to say these words. Might was well add to his ego for the night. Even though she was telling the truth.
Kara looked up at Roy after she made mention of possibly getting both. At Roy's counter suggestion, Kara was pleased with the idea. Her eyes glanced over the menu he was showing her.
"Sure! I mean when is the next time we will get a chance to sit down and actually enjoy a meal. Even if we doesn't get any more calls for the night," Kara agreed.

Persistant, wasn’t really how Roy would put it. He surely, would never ever. Ever, be persistent. No. Maybe, just give that little nudge. He liked to think his advice had some value, if not, he was mostly just man that cared, a lot. More than probably people, gave him credit for. Suppose, he really didn’t do himself much favours, in how he could act. Play. He was more the type to not take life so seriously. Of course, it wasn’t always a good thing, but he was sensually raised in the forest. With a bunch of natives, so its safe to say being carefree. Was somewhat in his nature. Then of course, it could be as simple as Kara looked good in his jacket. Hmmm, come to think of it, he may forget its his all together. As a playful smirk came upon his lips, at her words. As if he could truly be that concerned about his clothing, he could sensually throw everything that he owned in one suitcase. One could blame Ollie for practically stripping Roy bare, but Roy was used to having very little. Its not to suggest he did not have some pride in what he had. He most certainly cherished his guitar, but in reality he could replace that to. So as far as he was concerned, Kare could do whatever she wished to his jacket.
”I’m sure you and my jacket, will get along just fine. When it comes down to it, Kara. You could burn all of my clothes. It wouldn’t be a crime against humanity, now would it?"
There was no letting go of the playful expression upon his lips and it was probably fair to say, it somewhat went to his head. Or at least his mouth. Though as usual playful, he was sure he damn well being truthful. If he wasn’t giving himself to much credit, as he watching Kara careful to catch the reaction or simply to look upon her. Before he had put his helmet in place and shut the visor. Swiftly driving them to their destination and come to a safe enough place to park. Though suppose in a city like Gotham or really most places in America, safety of parked vehicles was questionable. Although with it being sensually Arsenal’s bike, its highly likely something equally questionable would happen, if one were to touch it. Yeah, unlike Nightwing. Roy wouldn’t leave his bike so easy to steal. Pfft, amateur. That maybe cheap, as Dick was probably less likely to forget taking his mask off, though he was perhaps a little more paranoid about the whole identity issue. One would almost think he was developing a complex, of course knowing him as Roy did, he was sure that started many years ago… Of course, Kara’s then kind words. Least made him feel better for it. Roy swept a couple more strands of her hair behind her ear, as he was a little to taken with the way she looked in his clothing. Maybe, he had a complex. This wasn’t bad kind, he was feeling. His smirk, then grew to a charming smile.
”Why, thank-you… Though wait. Fine? Really! Just fine? What am I, like good from my nose downwards?"
Roy’s smile, then somewhat changed, as he had come to realisation she had said fine. Teasing her, of course… Seriously, fine. As Roy playfully questioned her, with or without his mask. His smiled faded, only to playfully grin. Guess that answers how much she valued his eyes. Motioning his hand at the bridge of his nose, where his mask would normally end. Jesting that, everything below, was all that did it for her. Whilst, in Roy’s fashion, completely pulling her chain. Given the amount of times, he forgot to shave, suggested how much he greatly cared about his looks. Though, that not to suggest, he didn’t know how to dress. Damn, sure, he pull off a nice suit. Or jeans. A tee. Singlet. No singlet. No pants. Seriously, if anyone actually glimpsed him at home, he was generally pants less. Even at the bunker, probably far more than the rest of the Outsiders knew or needed to know. Shortly, but surely Roy had lead the way inside. In the direction of food and soon fuller stomachs.
Little time wasted. You never know when, you were needed not he field again. As they had soon found themselves at their table. With drinks ordered. Now it really, was just down to the food. Roy had suggested the special for two. He had played that casual, but part he was curious as to how that would sound. Play out. Was it swirling in areas to far? Or was it really, just food? Why that hell was he even over thinking this? That seemed true, given Kara’s response. Roy charmingly smirked, suppose she had picked up on that or perhaps there was nothing to pick up on. His smirk, sure turned more in a sincere smile. Understanding, exactly what she was saying. He’d been in this hero life, long enough to know how little downtime one can get or how easily it is interrupted. Roy couldn’t even remember the last sunday roast he had, if ever. Though he was in the mindset, that he didn’t entirely want to think about. Switching the thought of work off, as much as he could, it wasn’t like he wasn’t a signal away, but thinking any second your gonna get pulled away. Was one sure way, to ruin the meal… Mostly his mind was half fried from work, that half just felt numb. His smile then turned playful again.
”So, what you’re saying is, you’re using me for food? I suppose, I’ve been used for much less… We’ll take the special for two… Right?”
Roy played and joked. As if he’d either not entirely took what she said or totally played upon it. With the added gleam in his eyes and subtle playful laugh deep from his throat. Roy couldn’t imagine Clark, would allow Kara to miss eating her veggies, but suppose he too was busy. As the waitress, had brought their drinks. With what seemed a decision on what they were ordering. Roy told the waitress, though he turned to Kara to make sure. He honestly didn’t mind what he ate at this point, so long as it was digestible. Once the food was ordered. The waitress taking the menus in hand, left them much alone in where they sat.
”So we’re not past a couple’s special… I say we’re moving up in the world."
With his attention drawn back to Kara, as he spoke, not entirely sure what said, but he had said it. Weird how felt and yet there was some kind of smile upon his lips. Suppose, it wasn’t highlight a great leap in any form of commitments, but hey it was something. To put whatever was happening been the two of them, somewhere on the compass. After all he wasn’t kryptonian, he was human. Just a man. Quite a poor man and very little power to show for it, but a man. Growing whatever that was growing for this unlikely alliance… Alliance, that was perhaps selling it short. Sipping his soda, before he mindfully offered a hand across the table. It wasn’t like anyone else was here to say no. Not that, it would entirely stop it.

"And what if I said I did? It leaves you seeming more cryptic any how," Kara teased him, acting as if she really did prefer him with a mask on. Then continuing on her way
A spark in her blue eyes emoji shown as she turned back to him once again. "Come to think of it....you look even more handsome without it and your cap," she grinned as she taunted him even more so playfully.
This was too much fun for Kara at this point and she knew Roy was following along with the jesting between them. Though she took it to the level at sounding serious at first just to puzzle him. He'd see right through it. Roy knew her better than that. If she were really being serious her eyes would reflect that. Her mood could be easy to tell at times. She wasn't afraid to hide her annoyance of people. She was blunt, she was bold...and just plain stubborn. She wasn't quite like her light hearted cousin a lot of the time.
"Yeah, sounds good,"
Kara sat there and looked to Roy as he started to speak up again. He had caught her slightly off guard with his words and she didn't like being caught off guard. Though with Roy, he had a way of doing that to her a lot. Maybe they did it to each other with what ever they had found themselves in. She understood what he was asking in all.
His hand extended out on the table was the question being asked. She knew he was waiting for more or a reaction than just an answer. It was then that Kara reached out her own hand to grasp hold of his in a gentle way.
"What ever this is that we have going on between us, I think it is safe to say we are," Kara replied looking into his eyes.
Had it been much of a secret or had others noticed maybe the hints. Who cared? It was between the two of them. And maybe now they were both just going to admit it.

There was a mild smirk upon Roy’s face. Suppose it had always been there, as Kara responded. Surprisingly not really less than Roy expected, but suppose it was better than being smacked over the head. Or that general eye roll people tend to give him. Of course, even as Kara teased what may or may not look better on him. Who knew, maybe it was both, Roy never was one to really feel he had much of an identity crisis. Strangely enough people seem to expect just about the same from with Arsenal and Roy. Decidedly maybe more ammo on one side. His smirk grew to a grin as Kara teased, as if he could play to her at least being honest. Cryptic. Now, why in the hell would she say such a thing? It made him sound, he was complex. Of course its not to say there wasn’t sarcasm under his underlaying thoughts.
”You wouldn’t be the first, you know how popular Arsenal is in keychains… Cryptic? Like, a rubik’s cube? You should know better than anyone, there is always a way around anything cryptic."
Roy responded, not entirely making things up, there were such things as Arsenal keychains, but well popular. That could be down to opinion. It would appear despite being somewhat of a douche, people still had a thing for a man in green tights. Red was always better. Always. Roy jested to Kara. Playfully with the intended smile. As if he could be the only one being cryptic, but somehow he often found himself in such a way. Despite feeling he was far less cryptic than people could perceive him… Hmmm, yeah talk about cryptic. Was there a puzzle forming in her eyes, as Kara moved and looked at him intently With emoji like eyes. Totally stumping a puss in boots and quite capable of tripping up a man built on being stealth. His playful smile turned to a more sincere smile. At her words. Whilst the grin was very evident of her taunting him back. Roy very much took it as a compliment. Despite his mask, there wasn’t really much separating the identities, not to the extend to say Batman he wasn’t that paranoid, nor Superman, he wasn’t that stupid. You could argue they gave humans too much credit or not enough. The mask was simply just to protect his ass and make it easier going down the street to pick up milk the morning after. There really was no over complicated reason. Of course his sincere smile very easily moved back to returning the taunting favour, however.
”Handsome. Now, I know you must be lying."
You could argue his response was from his more humble side. Despite his carefree attitude, suppose it was very possible he could be humble. Despite previously he waved around weapons like a pro, it could probably be hard to buy someone humble after that. Really was just a step from hunting way back when in the woods, just not exactly completing the kill. He was much more pro-life, than you might imagine. There was even a stint when he was a vegetarian, maybe even vegan, but it didn’t entirely last… As clear as they walked through the doors to the Japanese restaurant and took a seat. Particularly with the intention of getting sushi. Somehow it always seemed less desirable when you think of it as raw fish, but Roy just tended not to think about it. So long as it was dolphin friendly and Garth friendly. Because, you know, he’d never hear the end of it. It hadn’t been a long wait before. Drinks were ordered. Nor, food, it appeared. As Kara agreed to what Roy ordered for them, as the waitress left. Hopefully it wouldn’t be too long of a wait. Roy was quite starved. Roy smiled and returned his eyes to Kara. Who had somewhat look confused as to what he had just said about being used for food. It was a joke of course. Her reaction was pretty much why he had said it.
”Kara, you should know by now, not to take humans by face value. Life doesn’t always need to be serious… I for one am up to forgetting about work, otherwise I’ll be on edge waiting for the call…"
He didn’t want to talk about work. Least to the extent, it totally ruin the meal. As Roy lightly put forth to Kara. She was young and full of spirit. Flying from one part of the world to the next in under a minute. It was understandable if it would wind you up, to never really taking the seconds. The minutes, of down time. Roy was perhaps a little laid back, its not to say he wouldn’t spring into action if or when he is called, but that is not now. Roy was happy to sink in this seating. Relax. Breathe. Eat. Although, Kara slightly annoyed, was certainly cute to look at. Though he could only imagine how painful that was to hold up. Or was it not painful, she was kryptonian. Suppose, it was a good thing she wasn’t reading his mind. Not that Roy entirely did a good job shutting his mouth. Bad or good… As Roy had taken the leap in suggesting they were in some shape or form, a couple. Seemed by Kara’s response, he hadn’t completely taken a stab in the dark.
”To us! What do you say is going on between us?"
Roy took the initiative of picking up his glass and raising it, to potentially touch hers. In a mini toast. He could definitely drink to that. Though he was certainly curious as to what was spurring through Kara’s thoughts. Because her response, least confirmed it wasn’t entirely one sided. Roy hadn’t entirely sure he had planned to slip into anything remotely serious, least for some time, but if he did. Which seemingly he was doing, he didn’t want to screw it up. As badly as his track record could be. He was decidedly better than most. Better than he was. Lifting the alcoholic free beverage to his lips, not that it was blinded to him despite all the steps he had gotten to at this point. There was always something that could potentially knock him back down, Roy couldn’t predict that or nor life by that. This was certainly different than last night. At that thought. The beginnings of the food was arriving. The aroma that came, was enough to make his stomach grumble all the more.

"Sometimes you can be like a rubik's cube...maybe. Some days it seems like I get you and then another you just keep surprising me," Kara admitted. Somewhat playing along with the bait she used to start this conversation.
Kara smiled at him acting quite humble by not admitting to the words she had just complimented him with. And in truth, he was quite handsome. She could sit there and gaze into his eyes. Just to enjoy the words he spoke, and the tone of his voice. He was quite charming in ways. His voice was soothing to her. Kara had grown accustom to his face and voice.
It was funny to think about it, back when she had first joined, she had been holding back Nightwing and Arsenal from a fight threatening to break their wrists. And now...here she was having dinner out with Arsenal. She had really come around in the time since joining the Outsiders. Starting out, she was most likely to lean against a wall and roll her eyes at the argument and nonsense between everyone. And now, she was apart of the lives of her teammates. Joining in on more of the talk of mission work.
"If I wanted to lie, I would. But I'm not. You're quite charming come to think of it," Kara spoke up.
Kara smiled at his attempt to toast his glass in the air.
"I say it seems more than just friends at this point?" She left that question open to him. That was how she feel, though she was afraid him might reject the thought.

In Kara’s response, which pretty much assured he was like a rubik’s cube. Naturally it would paint himself in a picture of coloured squares… Hmmm, he wasn’t entirely sure how accurate that was… A square? Boring? He’d have to say incredibly unlikely. Though it could be argued he had a fetish to red, but he could also look good in other colours… Mostly, he was happily eyeing Kara within most of them…Suppose, the point of the Rubik’s cube wasn’t just the squares. Roy most certainly cheekily smiled. Say what you will, despite his ADHD, he was quite a bright child and recalled quite often smashing the Rubik’s cube. It wasn’t a hard thing to cheat with, once you knew how too… It wasn’t exactly like he entirely walked the straight line… Sure he was mostly a good boy. A very good boy, but hell he was definitely anything than perfect… Suppose he could be sharp like an arrow. It was sad even his inner thoughts could be lame… Taking the comfort in the seating. Finally in the winding down and Kara’s words. Seemed clear in part she understood him, but he was like a kinder surprise… Hmmm,, supposedly a little more adult. Roy grinned.
”So are you saying you want to twist and turn me? I’m almost positive I can go diagonally… Although I may need to stretch… That one jerk got me all bent out of shape."
Randomly and perhaps on point, as Roy playfully responded with the comparison to a rubik’s cube… That was surely the bases summed up. Roy amusingly teased. Though he did have to wonder somewhat in regards to diagonally, not that he had actually meant in ways sexually, though as much as what he said could easily be taken out of context… He himself could be taken out of context. His main weapon of choice was an bow and arrow…. It was what it was. As Roy least couldn’t entirely hide behind the playful grin. Motioning a somewhat of a stretch that lent him a little more relaxed in his seating, in pushing evidence across that he wasn’t perhaps exactly at his peak after the battle tonight. Whilst in decidedly good shape, he could still fall victim to tired limbs and the occasional pulled muscles. Even injuries here and there… Unfortunately like some heroes, he didn’t have great powers that aided him to bounce back so easily. Of course, no doubt there was a chance for another call to action and Roy would totally tape himself together if he had to. He wasn’t one to miss out on the action. No way!
There in the brink of the conversation. The food had arrived. Or at least perhaps the soup… Oh most importantly prawn crackers. Where many couldn’t won over by food. Roy could potentially be won by prawn crackers, not that he was likely to overly declare that fact. Despite lacking little hesitation at grabbing one not minutes after being set upon the table. Breaking it in half. It wasn’t half bad, not half bad at all as he chopped on the pieces. Roy lightly playfully smiled in response to Kara assuring she hadn’t lied. He honestly knew she had not. She did not have that look in her eye or the twitch in her nose. Not that Roy would declare she wasn’t good at lying. Though suppose apart from identity, one would assume her cousin was on the do not tell lies mentality… Besides, it was a general rule of thumb that when one generally lies, they don’t normally say that they are. Roy should know, he was filled with lies or maybe that was a lie. Who honestly knew. His amusing smile certainly formed more genuine in its warmth as Roy very much took what was in truth a compliment. Whether or not he actually thought himself as handsome, let a lone even remotely the most in the world… It really only meant anything, that Kara saw it. Deemed it so. As welcoming as Roy could be to ladies, he really only had the intention of charming thee one… As far as he was concerned he was zoned in… Not in any creepy way of course. That would totally come with a mean right hook anyway… Suppose it was his subconscious. Roy picked up the tiny bowl of soup, he pointedly deemed it tiny, because it would barely fill even a corner of his stomach. It was a relief the food wouldn’t end here, but it was a starter. Go figure… Though of course being soup… It was hot.. Quite hot, as Roy felt the sting as he motioned his lips to the hot soup. It barely got any further, before in reaction, it mostly ended up in dribbles down his chin. Trickling a little down his shirt. He swiftly put the tiny bowl back with the rest of soup, luckily with his reflexes it hadn’t been the entire soup, but still didn’t entirely prevent him from being like a bumbling tad pole.
”Holy Fuck… I mean my goodness! Charming! Indeed I am… Don’t hold me to it, though I did have a horse… Well, it wasn’t exactly my horse… But… There was a horse!”
Not a saintly tad pole, but when had Roy really ever been good at putting a restriction on his mouth… It was a natural reaction, not that Roy didn’t in some lame way attempt to cover it up in gentleman fashion. Roy smirked, but honestly couldn’t count it be his last… In responded in slight sarcasm as Kara not moments before expressed he was charming… Suppose, he did have his own charm.. Prince like charm… He wasn’t entirely sure if suited crown, but he’d probably take it anyway. He liked to think he could at least be chivalrous. Not many were these days… Princely… Knightly…. Made reason for Roy to bring up the fact he had a horse or at least been in position to ride a horse. Despite how long ago that was, but certainly Roy recalled seeing the ground on more than one occasion… Though suppose it did end up helping his balance and his aim. Hmmm, certainly old times. Pulling for a napkin, Roy attempted what he could of the subtle mess he made down his chin. His shirt. Before toasting. To them… To Kara who was certainly far too good for him.
”I say we are heading where the passionfruit grows sweet… If you are unafraid, falling is suppose to be half the fun!"
Roy responded honestly whilst a noted smile on his lips and intended subtle look in his eyes, following with subtle wink. That a notion of his childhood was almost exposed… No, he didn’t just entirely rip that off. He very much meant it, but suppose it could suggesting more than he openly suggest otherwise…. Roy motioned for another prawn cracker, despite the few tastebuds he’d destroyed. He did still taste some of the prawn cracker. Before he eventually attempted fate again. He really couldn’t completely back down, by now surely the soup was cool enough.

"That's not exactly what I meant. Though is you need your back adjusted, let me know, I can help out," Kara jokingly replied at the end.
It was rather assuming the way Roy's mind worked. It was hard to follow a lot of the time. Though unlike the other humans Kara had been around, his mind seemed to jump at times. And his personality seemed to always be laid back and in control compare to others in this line of work. Well almost.
When the waitress came back to them with the starters of their meal, Kara glances at it as it was set down. Thanking the server as she left them to their own devices once again.
Kara picked up the spoon to take a bit of the soup to try it. It wasn't long before Roy responded to her comment about him being charming.
She smiled at his mention of a horse. "You'll have to tell me about that sometime," Kara commented with a tone of interest in hear the story.
She knew so little of his past as far as his family. She knew the hero background and the whole think between him and Green Arrow. They confided a lot between each other. But there were somethings Roy hasn't opened up about just yet. Kara couldn't blame him, she was the same way. Especially the time Doomsday brainwashed her and had her turn against the League. That experience was rather difficult. Something she wondered if it was something like what Kory had ever faced. Beside the brainwashing part.
"Me, afraid? Do you forget who you are talking to," Kara laughed. "There is only really one think that can stop me. So there isn't much to fear."
Kara said in all honesty. She was invincible in ways. Bullets couldn't even affect her like her cousin.

There Roy sat across from Kara. Who could very much look as cute as a button. Though of course she was also as strong as an ox. Heck, more like a stampede of billions. If Roy ever needed to wonder what that felt like, he assumed it was something to that nature. As Roy watched in Kara’s response to his less than senseless attempt of words. Purposely? Yes! They were comparing him to a rubik’s cube. Its wholes schtick is to be challenging. Though, somehow he didn’t imagine he was that challenging or hardly as complex as he can pretend to be. Laid back? He certainly could be. He often kicked back in his bunker with the sports on, though he generally also had a weapon in reach. Without, completely. He’d be like a dog without a bone and damn sure he could mope loud enough for everyone to hear it. Perhaps that was a slight overstatement. Roy attempted with his soup again, without completely trying to burn himself again. The hot steam added to the smiled that came to his lips as Kara so kindly offered to sensually crack his back into place.
”I may just take you up on that… It just depends… Are you offering for a hands on approach? Or more just throwing me over a trash can again? I could probably go for either, but one maybe more pleasant than the other."
Roy raised a slight brow, putting the soup back down. With the fable confidence he was dipping into across his face. There was a chance he was asking for far more than he realised, but he wasn’t nearly as fearful as he was when initially meeting Supergirl… Sure, she is Superman’s cousin. No kill, whilst saving baby kittens, but a serious left hook was really nothing to mess with. Though Roy sure could find himself messing with it. Even more now having been more accustom to it. Of course on the serious flip, he couldn’t really imagine she’d actually break him in half, even knowing that she very much could and at times he probably deserve to be. It all didn’t stop him for playing with it all and teasing with more cards that he was dealt with. As he didn’t attempt to hide his confidence in his smile. To that note. He then took to his soup again and was more successful this time. Or, at least so he thought. Suppose you drop a nugget out there, curious is bound to come. As Roy perked up at Kara’s interest. Least in regarding the horse. Suppose it was one of many in the larger scheme.
”Why not tell you now? From the time I was barely two. Up until Ollie took me in. I was raised as a Navajo and a member of the Tachini Tribe. It is where I picked up my knack for archery and riding horses was part of my training… Namely a horse, Kilchii."
Suppose, it was true Roy had entirely delved greatly in his past. Not out of avoidance, so much of it was in the past and entangled into really who he was. When he was asked. He could very easily talk about it, as he openly did now. Whilst he had greatly moved into other areas, he was still very much the boy still running around with a bow and arrow in his hand. Just minus a horse. As Roy prominently spoke of his former best pal. As he sipped for his drink. Those were some fond times, in between the few times he totally face planted, but his pal got him through many things. Along with face to face times with cougars and bears… Of course things could drastically change when one then moves in with a billionaire such as Oliver Queen. Naturally Roy gets painted as the poor orphan kid Oliver took in. Which isn’t entirely untrue. Oliver needed Roy just as much if not more so than Roy needed Oliver.
”Touché. If one is unable to fall, I suppose one just floats down swimmingly! Only one thing, huh! If it happens to be a lion… I have been known to roar like one… However if you really know me, I’m much more like Sebastian the lion!"
Roy remarked as Kara questioned being afraid and sensually reminding him yet again who she was. Supergirl, wasn’t just a moniker. Roy smirked, as falling wasn’t much of a struggle for her, least not physically. Though perhaps it was just the same as mentally. Emotionally. Whatever is attached to the loving feelings and fluffy teddy bears. With a stretch of his hand and taking hers. With what separated he kissed her hand rather lovingly as he spoke of her floating down, sensually into his life. He couldn’t attest that most have done so before, he didn’t always make it so easily and he couldn’t really imagine he was so much of a catch as he acted. Teased playing her weakness. Oddly it was always something green, that could literally stab you in the back, not that Roy was bitter at all. Just an observation. As he played quite lightly in the realm of being somewhat like a lion. Not just because he had literally had revealed a little too much disney prior. He wasn’t sure he was delighted or not that she hadn’t noticed. Suppose in all his braveness. He was much more like Sebastian, than Simba.
