All that Heather will be able to remember about falling asleep during the meeting is that she simply became so tired that standing was too much of a burden, so she'd allowed herself to slump down until she was sitting on the floor. Nobody at the meeting besides Jon cared about her presence anyway, so she figured that wouldn't be a problem. Everything that happened after that - from passing out completely, to the way Jon abruptly ignored the meeting in favor of checking on her and then demanding that Dr. Stenet do something about it, to the doctor's refusal to help until after the crisis with the swamp was resolved, to Jon's carrying her out of the meeting to attempt to rouse her in spite of anyone's protests about it - she missed completely. Which is a real shame because she would have liked to have been awake to see some of that.
But regardless of what anyone would have liked, she was very deeply asleep and completely unwakable by any normal means - not unlike someone under general anesthesia. Yet aside from that symptom, she showed no other signs of distress. She was breathing quite evenly and strongly, and her heartbeat was slow but not too slow. Of course Jon would quickly resort to abnormal means, but in spite of the fact that her body reacted otherwise normally to his interventions, she stubbornly slept on for well over an hour.
After that, whether because something Jon did finally worked or because whatever caused her to fall asleep in the first place wore off somehow, she slowly begins to wake. Even before she opens her eyes, she quietly asks for, "Jon?" Though she's gotten used to falling asleep and therefore waking up in odd places before, and is only half awake now, she can already tell that she's waking up to something beyond that.

The meeting and what followed afterward was just as disastrous as he expected to be. It would only be expected from getting all of those people together, all cut from different stages, different sides. What did they all expect to happen? None of them were ever meant to work well together, but the situation got fixed to their resolve at least. No one in the room seemed to actually get what they wanted, or at least he didn’t. Instead he was rudely interrupted by Dr. Stenet whom had decided that something was going to happen to him, or in this case Miss Glass.
He hadn’t put it beyond Dr. Stenet to hurt someone, considering what she had done to Edward and what she was willing to do if anyone got in her way. Through the short time he had been able to observe her he had noticed where she placed her fears and how they controlled her. Her obsession with Edward drove much of her fears, she couldn’t stand to lose him. But if she had only understood that concept in the first place she would realize that it was never reality to begin with. Of course, his situation with Edward was entirely different.
When Miss Glass had woke he was busy analyzing a blood sample he’d already taken from her while she was asleep. He moved over to her and assisted in raising her to a sitting position. “Look up.” He said to her the moment she was upright and pulled back her eyelids. It was inevitable that she would have many questions about what happened but those could be saved for later. Right now he was going to be the one asking the most questions. “How are you feeling?” He asked for more medical reasons than actual concern for her.
Once he was done looking at her eyes he moved his hand to her jaw to force her to open it so he could take a look. He didn’t know what was wrong with her, but he was going to find out. Dr. Stenet had done something to Edward by just looking at him and he had the same suspicion here. Whether it was severe enough would probably depend upon how much longer he was intending to keep her assistant. He didn’t see what the big problem was with it. Dr. Stenet didn’t mind that she had left her assistant behind before and any attempt to show otherwise wouldn’t be put passed him. Dr. Crane knew there was no real attachment there. How could their be?

If it weren't for the fact that she was getting the sense that all was not well, Heather would have been quite happy to drift back to sleep. In fact, sleep is still tugging at her, demanding her return to it, clouding up her mind. But she's strong enough to resist it, even though much of her would really rather not. And that part of her is strengthened when she's raised into a sitting position - if Jon wants her to be awake then she should be awake.
Though when she opens her eyes to look up at his command, she instantly questions whether or not she is awake. Where in the hell is she? It's not anywhere that she recognizes. In fact she's pretty sure that the room she's looking at would only make any sense if she was pulled into an alternate dimension in her sleep or something. And what is this thing poking at her? She thought it was Jon, but...
With her head still in such a haze, she has a hard time working out what's going on, and this is all simply too confusing for her to deal with right now - deep wrinkles to form on her forehead as her brain tries to keep up with reality. When Jon asks a question she latches onto it as being something easier to work out. "Tired, fuzzy..." is all she says for a moment, since that's on the forefront of her mind, but a moment later she adds, "Everything else feels alright, I guess." She doesn't feel hurt or anything, though she can't for the life of her remember how she might have ended up here or what happened before that. The memories that are most easily coming to mind at the moment are things that she knows happened days ago.
Feeling her jaw being opened, she doesn't resist but her grimace of confusion deepens. Her eyes and mouth appear perfectly normal, and the only thing unusual about her blood work is that she has extremely elevated levels of melatonin in her system. Not enough to account for just how deeply she'd been asleep, but that was obviously a contributor. When her jaw is released, she frowns somewhat grumpily and asks, "Where am I? Where are you?" Because she doesn't see Jon anywhere, though it sounds like he's very close by.
