Of course to the eye, she is in fit condition and very attractive. And even as her identity of Kara, she still remains so but must hide her strength from those around her. She has the nice muscle tone to her body. But who wouldn't if they had super strength.
It's not uncommon to see her dressed in something stylish, but something within her own taste. Or just your average college student trying to get by in classes and keeping up.
As Supergirl, her suit is much like her cousin's, Superman, in a way of color and using the same symbol as him. But her cape has a bit more flare with the golden trim on it. And her suit consist of a two piece suit. The upper half displaying the Super sign, long sleeved, and cutting off at about her lower ribcage. And the bottom being similar too a sports kilt. Both pieces lined with the same golden trim.
She also wears a pair of knee high boots. That are red in color. She keeps the natural look of the Super family to her look. Besides, they are all cousins any ways.
Personality:
Kara by nature, is a very bright and out going young woman. Always willing to help those in need. She finds little trouble in being able in doing so with the lessons she has learned.
She is like your typically young teenager starting out in life towards college. Trying to figure out just where she belongs and what she wants to do with her life. Curios to learn anything she can. And always determined to take on new challenges when the chance comes along. She can do anything she puts her mind to.
But like any teen, she does have her time of being moody and stubborn. Compare to her cousin Clark, she isn't as easy to work with. She can be head strong and sometimes down right difficult to handle.
Kara tends to take on an attitude at time of, she knows she has super powers and she can do what she wants. What young super hero doesn't go through a stage like that in their life?
New to the world around her, Kara has only been on earth for a little more than a year or so. So to her, she sometimes does still feel like an alien on another planet. Which she is. She just doesn't always fit in right away.
She knows her powers, but is still learning to control them or conceal them for the day to day use of them when being like the humans. It's hard to deny who you are. And this is very much how Kara feels. She's not as careful like her cousin Clark.
And it can sometime show in her fight to protect the city. Sometimes causing more so damage than her cousin Superman when it comes to being Supergirl.
She in no way thinks she is superior to the human races just because she has super powers. But she does know the damage she could do if she wanted. Though she uses her power for good.
There is a darker side to Kara, one that is concealed within her. And at one point had come out when she had first come to earth when she had been brain washed. And her dark side and be an equal to her attitude she has with being reckless, but worse in knowing what she is doing to cause damage.
But her rebellious nature can also be in protest over her cousin's over protectiveness over her. Kara just wants to find where she belongs. She wants the freedom than anyone else has and wants at her age. But being a superhero means having to follow unwritten rules and learning the right from wrong.
Background:
Kara Zor-El is daughter of Zor-El and Alura. And with Zor-El being the uncle to Superman...this would make Kara the cousin of Superman. In Kryptonian years, Kara would actually be older than Clark. But do to being trapped in Kryptonite on her travel to earth, her journey was slowed and time did not past as quickly for Kara. Trapping her at the same age she was as she had been the day she left Krypton.
At the time Krypton was attack, Kara and her parents remained in Argo. When a traitor named Brainiac betrayed Krypton, her family used a force-field to protect themselves. But when Brainiac came to Argo to attack, Kara's parents had no choice but to send her off in a rocket headed for earth. And at the time of the launch, her rocket got caught in a meteor of Kryptonite.
And for there, she arrived, it is thought to be 18 years after Karl-El had made it to earth. All the time, she did not age a day. Trapped within time, slowly traveling through the galaxy.
The day she arrived on earth faced her with much confusion. She was still the same age as when she left Argo, 14. She was found by Superman and Batman. And at the time she spoke true Kryptonian. Her ship having works in their language. This and her traits of that only a Kryptonian would have gave Super the confirmation that she was in fact his cousin.
After this, Superman knew what he had to do to help his only known cousin on earth. Batman being rather suspicions as usual over the new alien. Knowing fully well the use of her powers could mean disaster if Superman was wrong over his thoughts on her.
Kara was then sent to train with Wonder Woman. Soon after Darkseid found Kara's whereabouts. Kidnapping her and brain-washing her, he used her against her own cousin.
Kara was forced to fight her cousin Superman. In which, Superman did defeat her. Taking her back to earth. Where he then faked her death to protect her from Darkseid. To lead him off Kara's trail.
It was after this event that she took on the name Supergirl.
A while later, Lex used black kryptonite against her. Splitting her into two personality in two forms of herself. One good and the other the dark side of her. The evil Kara saying she had been sent to earth in the first place to kill Kal-El.
Good Kara needed to stop her evil self. And with the help of Wonder Woman's lasso, she got her to trap her two-selves together and found away to fuse her back into one Kara. The good side taking control again over the evil.
And following events she join in on the fight for good. At times getting to know the League more and the members of the Titans. Wonder Woman and Batman taking a place in her life, as well as Superman (who was like a guardian to her).

RP Sample:
Space...a vast emptiness to some. A whole lot of worlds to others. Such a silent and desolate place it seems. Nothing but endless galaxies surrounding so many others.
Plants and many suns in the distance coming back to earth in the form of stars. Every galaxy hiding a secret. An unknown race that has yet to make themselves known to the rest of the places.
Flouting around is space was Supergirl...Kara. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city she knew as her new home. The planet earth was yet so strange to her. A place were she could be her normal self to an extent as a superhero and another of hiding that from the world.
Such a strange planet it seemed. A place she didn't feel like she belonged. She still didn't understand. She was getting to know the human race, but it was much different from her own. And they were lost forever.
Kara let herself drift off through space a bit around the earth. Staying in the sun's light. Soaking in the rays of light to power her all the more.
She pondered on the distant galaxies. There being many she had never seen. Places she had yet to go. All the while her thoughts on earth. The people she knew. The family she had there. Still all so strange to her it seemed.
Though she could not complain. She was content with her life at points. She was still herself and glad for it. But still feeling for those other aliens like her on the planet that were seen as freaks. Like the humans couldn't be at times. She had met some of the strangest beings she had ever seen on that planet as well. But still it was her home.
While staying isolated for so long a few years back, it felt good to be back into a form of life. Her memories of her past lingered. But still all that much confusing to her over the maters of her origin and what she was doing there.
She was thankful for having those few people in her life that were helping her. And in return, she was there to help the people of earth.
Speaking of which...there was a distant sound. A sound she focused in on her city. The calls for help, destruction taking place. Shrugging and giving a slight smile after using her super hearing to pick this up, Supergirl takes to action. Flying back to earth, where she was needed. Where she could help.
