She was kind of getting the hang of it at least. I mean, she wasn't exactly professional at it, but at least she wasn't falling on her face anymore. But as she moved towards the fense, darting like a chick out of hell she bounced, a trail of smoke hitting the fense as she bounced through it, appearing with a thud on her feet. This was so major and she was kind of excited, and kind of freightened at the same time. Like, this wasn't just going to someone door and checking up on their life. It was kind of sly, and she was probably being super duper stalkerish but she didn't care. If she was going to be a hero, she had to see what it was like behind the cape. Behind what it was behind kicking ass and taking names. She hadn't seen Wulfen before. She had seen Nightwing and Superman, Starfire and much more but she hadn't seen someone so - interesting before.
It was just like any other night, where Charlie pretends to be either asleep or at a friends house but ends up bouncing to Gotham City. Crime central; yes. A dangerous place; yes. But if you want to find criminals, and the heroes after criminals, you come here. She was sitting on the edge of a barber shop when she saw him. Making his way across Gotham, Charlie found herself intrigued. I wonder who is the man behind the mask....... Maybe he's cute! Maybe it was the wrong thing to do. Maybe it was harmless. Or maybe curiousity really did kill the cat. So, she followed him. It wasn't hard, she even ran across rooftops for this, always keeping her eye on him. But then she got to Gotham Tower Apartments. A super self-high five for her! She had managed to track a hero, and kept to the shadows. She wasn't sure what floor he would be on, so there she stood, pondering where it was that this Wulfen dude stayed.
Charlie decided to take it all the way. There were window view up the wall, so charging she jumped and bounced. She found herself in one of the apartments, looking into an empty living room. It was quiet, nice and kind of - romantic. Red roses, champaign have drunk and chocolate-covered strawberries. "Richard, don't forget the whipped cream". Ewww! Bouncing, she appeared in the room above. She was in the hallway, realizing where she was and looked around slightly. Maybe this hero was super sly around the clock. She moved down the hall slightly, and listened, trying to hear movement. And you know what - she did.

Though she likes the security of being inside of Victor's apartment where she can be reasonably sure that the only one who will see her is Victor himself, being there all day everyday can easily make a kid stir-crazy. She doesn't venture out very far or for very long - she doesn't want his neighbors to realize that she's living there and start to ask him questions, even if they can be easily answered by saying that she's a niece or something. Better to avoid having to make excuses to begin with. Today she's only walking the hallway for a bit of exercise and a chance to look at walls that don't belong to Victor.
It's pretty late, so it's quiet as she walks along. Which is why it gives her pause when she hears a strange notice that she can't immediately identify. What was that? She frowns when it's followed by the sound of someone walking slowly and carefully. While she may not be very gifted when it comes to matters of stealth herself, she knows what sneaking sounds like. And nobody who is supposed to be around here would have reason to sneak.
But she's not frightened by that - no, not a bit. She simply puts one of her invisible telekinetic shields around herself before turning to go investigate. But even before she spots the girl, she reaches out with her thoughts to see if she can't find the mind of whomever is sneaking around - that could tell her a lot. Her mental touch is actually quite weak but since it is that weak it's highly abnormal for anyone to know that she's in their mind unless she speaks into their mind. And she doesn't like what she's sensing from this mind: whatever person this is, they're trying to follow Victor. And she can't say that she likes that.
But she doesn't say anything until she reaches the intersection of the hallway and actually spots the teenager. Her eyes immediately narrow suspiciously. "Why are you following Wulfen?" she demands out loud, her voice challenging. It seems like a very 'bad guy' thing to do, but she's never felt the need to rush into judging people. Not when she can directly sense what's on their minds if she only prompts them to actually think it - she never has been able to probe into things that aren't on their mind. Otherwise she wouldn't have had to ask. Besides, even if this girl is a bad guy, it's not like someone with Phoebe's powers has to worry about stumbling into someone able to defeat her at random.

Wulfen had been out all night and he wasn't going to lie. He was tired. Not so tired that he was going to fall asleep the instant he saw the bed. But he was tired to the point that he didn't want to be out patrolling any longer. Thankfully it was a slow night so there wasn't anything pressing going on.
He started to notice a strange smell as he passed by a barber shop. Well there wasn't anything truly strange or different about the smell. Just the fact that it seemed to persist the whole way back to his apartment. So as a precaution he took the round about route to his apartment. For two reasons. One: He didn't really feel like fighting someone off in his apartment. Two: He didn't want to break his promise to Force.
He eventually made it home and used the fire escape to crawl into his apartment. He took a sniff as he gently called "Don't worry its just me." So he could let Force knew that there was no threat. He didn't know why he did, because he knew she would have just sensed his mind... Or however it worked. Then he noticed that there was no smell. Force wasn't here.
His heart lept as he worried that someone had gotten in and taken her. He looked around quickly and sniffed the air. There were no signs that anything like that had happened. So he hurried to his room and changed out of his costume into some more comfortable clothes. Nothing ragged or faded looking. But he wouldn't go out on the street in them. He also grabbed a small bucket meant to use to carry ice in.
He then stepped out into the hall and started to mentally ask where Force was. If she responded then he knew everything was alright. If not THEN he could worry.
But at the moment he simply shuffled down the hall... After all no reason to seem like he was looking for someone. He just looked like he was half asleep going to get some ice from the ice machine.
Then he saw her standing in a hall intersection. When he did he relaxed and then Lupin spoke up. 'I think she's right... You would make a good daddy.'
'Shut it Lupin." He started to say hello, not in an urgent matter. But like he was seeing a friend. Until he noticed she seemed to be talking to someone. He felt it would be best to hang back and let Force call the shots. After all she knew what was going on. He was just out to get some ice.

Obviously Charlie had to work on her tracking skills. Hopefully bouncing to different floors to find this guy seemed really unlikely to work now, so she should just call it a night. Feeling a vibrating in her pocket, she pulled out her phone and looked at it. Five missed calls from her mother, it seemed that the 'sleepover' needed checking on. She decided to send her mother a message so she doesn't freak out and stuff. Everythings all goodio at Melias. don't worry, i'm fine. ttyl tomoz xxx With that handled, she closed her eyes ready to bounce. But no - she had to get caught. Hearing the little girl, Charlie turned around and looked down at her. What a cute lil' thing! She smiled down at her, trying to find an explanation. Nope, she had nothing. What could see say, she was searching for a studly hero and accidentally teleported into your home?
"Hello sweetie. Hi, my names Charlie. I was just looking for your daddy but I guess he's not home. I - I just - -". Smiling, Charlie then turned to run. Sly Charlie, sly. She charged down the hall intersection until he saw him. By the fine jawline that she could never forget, she guessed this was Wulfen. Stopping, she sighed. "Fml!". She grunted but then realized that she had to get out of here. If not, this guy would probably kick her ass or something. Glancing back at the little girl, then to Wulfen, she had no where to go. She was freaking out so bouncing was unreliable. At least in the spot that she was standing at anyways. But maybe if it is only a few feet. Running at Wulfen, she moved fast. Well, as fast as she could anyways.
Getting just up to him, she gasped. Pink light blinked from her as she burst into smoke, a huge cloud hitting Wulfen as it followed through. Charlie materialized behind him, but her momentum did not stop. This might be embarrasing, but Chrlie continued forwards and smashed into the wall. Now that was just sad, and stumbling to the ground, she tried to crawl around, grunting "Shit!" under her voice as she scurried away. The future of superheroes in further generations rested in Charlie's hands. How sad!

When the teenager smiles at her, Phoebe frowns. She can tell that the young woman is a friendly sort of person, but a friendly person is not necessarily a good one. And if she's following Victor around, she definitely wants to know for sure. So when the young woman turns to run, Phoebe immediately sprints after her. She's actually in really good shape for someone her age, in spite of the fact that she hasn't been off the streets for very long. But on top of that, she doesn't need to keep up with her in order to use her powers if she has to - though it's easier when she can see what she's doing with her telekinesis.
Of course, she wasn't expecting for Charlie to suddenly burst into a pink could. Well... that's different. Then again, this isn't the first time she's run into another metahuman. Still running, when she sees Charlie reappear on the other side of Victor she takes advantage of her size to duck past him. But when the older girl stumbles, Phoebe stops herself and instead makes use of her powers, forming one of her invisible walls in front of the young woman to stop her from still trying to leave. Unless she turns into a pink cloud again, maybe - never having met anyone with that particular ability she hasn't the slightest idea how it works or if her own power would be enough to contain the teenager. Her mental walls are strong enough to withstand anything she's ever tested them against and are airtight, but it still depends on whatever principles that power operates under.
She just knows that she's not about to let someone follow Victor around, especially when he's in costume without finding out if she's a threat or not. Not just for him, actually, but because she's quite paranoid about who may be trying to find her and for all she knows Charlie may have been sent by someone who has made a connection between Wulfen and herself. Better safe than sorry, and all that. But that's why Charlie would do better to worry about Phoebe kicking her ass than Victor - not only is she more likely to want to, she'd also be a lot better at it. How to defeat other metahumans was actually a large part of her training, but she'll give this one a chance to explain before it comes to that.
"Stop!" she says firmly and with surprising authority in her voice for one so young, "I don't want to hurt you, but I need to know why you're following Wulfen." She says his costumed name as if Victor weren't standing right there, but though she already read from Charlie's mind that the teen has already guessed his identity she wants to make that thought as uncertain as possible - at least until she can determine what Charlie's intentions are and Victor can decide whether or not it's okay for her to know.

When Victor heard a voice he realizes that he's smelling an new smell... Then he realizes that its not a completely new smell. Its the smell that was following him! 'Told you that wasn't me.' He mentally comments to Lupin. He then gets ready to step forward to back up Force. Shifting the ice bowl in his hand so that he could throw it in the fashion of a Frisbee so that he would have an advantage if it came down to a fight.
Instead he sees a teenage girl run around the corner and stop in front of him.. This was the source of the smell? Really? Well he would probably need more time to identify exactly what she smelt like... Then it might actually match. But first thing was first. Was she hostile?
He stood where he was looking at the teenager with a confused frown on his face. Then she started to run towards him. Was she attacking? He found himself reacting in a much simpler manner then he thought he would. He dropped the bowl and started to step back and then fell on his butt when a could of pink smoke hit him in the face. He didn't know what he expected but he expect that. He grunted when he hit the floor. After a second he coughed and waved the smoke away from his face. 'Was she some kinda ninja?' He wondered then the logical part of his mind kicked in. Ninjas couldn't really teleport like that. Then he heard a sound behind him. He half turned around and looked over his shoulder. Well she wasn't a ninja... But she could teleport, that was something.
He slowly got back up mentally commenting on the somewhat amusing turn his life had taken. 'First a talking mental wolf, then a telepath, now a teleporter?' He looked at the roof and sighed. 'What's next a magical wombat that will grant me three wishes? Since meeting you Lupin I haven't had a single day that would be considered normal.' He finished as he turned to the teenager. He looked her over and realized that Force had caught her. He figured that he might as well confront her. He gestured to her with an open hand and in a kind manner said. "Who are you? What was that? And why are you following me?" It was her smell that gave away the fact that she had figured out who she was.... Or at least that's what Lupin said.

They always say that this vigilante deal comes with a bit of pain. The stinging on her face proved this, but it didn't stop her. She saw both the girl and Wulfen coming towards her, and panicked. She could still get out of her, if she had to bounce then she could. That is unless she, like, hits her head and gets dizzy or something. But what are the chances of that happening right? Stumbling to her feet, she charged forwards and away from them. She made it maybe two or three steps before she felt it. It was like it was as hard as anything and she ran face first into it. She groaned as she hit it, and hitting the wall seemed to have force her backwards. Seriously? This was happening right now! It was like she was pain prone or something. After hitting it, she swung back from it and fast - not to mention hard. She could feel the pain on her head, so she wasn't bouncing any time soon.
Swinging back, she felt the back of her head smash into a portrait. It was a nice portrait too, but glass shattered as she fell forwards onto her face. Glass had cut around and behind her neck and she felt really, really dazed. What the hell just happened to her? She could feel a burning in the side of her neck. A shard of glass was stabbed in their, and bleeding through. Grunting, she closed her eyes tight as she gripped onto the glass and ripped it out. She screamed in pain as she did it, dropping it to the floor as she held her hand on it. She was worried, but not too much. This chick can heal people! It would probably just take a minute or two. Looking at them, he hair casted over her eyes, she hissed in pain as she looked at them.
The little girl demanded to know why she was following Wulfen, and Wulfen was demanding who she was, what she did and why she was following them. She sighed, feeling real embarrased and severely sore. But there was something - something different. They didn't seem dangerous or anything. Just cautious. DId they think she was the dangerous one? It was kind of funny, but it was to be suspected. She did break into their home without opening a door. "Okay fine. I'm Selena Gomez, I burped in your face and I think your hot. Just wait a second please -". Holding he neck, she closed her eyes. Light emulated from her as she strained to stay in place, and then burst but appeared in the same spot straight after. When she appeared, the redness on her head was gone and some of the cuts had shrunk. So she did it again, and she remobed her hand and the wound on her neck had half healed and the cuts had disappeared. So she bounced again and a small scar was left on her neck and she looked kind of good as new.
"Okay, truth. I'm Charlie. Charlie Radcliff. I am meta-something and I can bounce anywhere I want. The reason I was following you though - I - um...... Okay, I want to be a hero. Like you and - I guess like her. So I have been kind of bouncing to Gotham City every night and kind of ghosting heroes, trying to get a peak at how they do thing and stuff. So I kind of followed you because, well, you are a hero with a jaw-line to die for and I kind of wanted to see what your life is like. Stupid - I know". She smirked and kind of looked down, but then back up to them. She didn't know if she should reason with the little girl, but if she was the one to make invisible walls then she might as well not hold anything back from her. At least now she was being honest.

Though she'd intended to stop Charlie using whatever force was required, Phoebe actually winces slightly when the teen bumps off of her telekinetic wall and into a glass wall hanging. Well, if she couldn't tell before, that definitely proves that whoever this Charlie is, she isn't trained. At all. Phoebe may be significantly younger, but she hasn't stumbled around like that in years. No sense of balance, no smoothness in movement, poor recovery... In short, a klutz.
Phoebe, on the other hand, has enough finesse to move her invisible telekinetic wall to shield herself from the pieces of glass headed her way even before they reach her, as she's quite close and might have been cut otherwise. Say what you will about the government being a poor entity to raise a child, they definitely did a good job teaching her very effective combat skills.
She scowls at the words that the young woman says when she finally stops bumping around. It's a lie - she hates lying! And even though she can tell that was supposed to be sarcastic, when she needs the truth so badly she doesn't appreciate hearing anything else. However, by now she's getting used to how Charlie's thoughts change when she's preparing to use that weird teleporting power, so she glances at Victor and comments, "She'll be fine, she's healing." She knows that he's kind-hearted enough to worry about someone cutting themselves on glass even if Phoebe's own worries about that sort of thing are more dependent on how she feels about the person who got hurt - she's not about to feel bad if it turns out that this girl is a bad person. Of the three of them, Phoebe is actually the only one that doesn't have some sort of enhanced healing, but that's not that big of a deal since she's quite good at not getting hurt in the first place.
One way is in the fact that her vigilance in watching Charlie does not waver at all until she speaks again. "I'm not a hero," she replies, "But I'm a 'good-guy'." Or at least, that's as well as she's able to describe how she sees herself. She's not about to go running around in a costume looking for good deeds to do, but if she just so happens to be there at the time she'll definitely help - and her ability to help is a lot greater than your average 10 year-old. "And yeah, that's really, really stupid. And he's too old for you," she adds. She's a kid and she knows that much.
But she turns to Victor and says, "She's telling the truth." Because she can tell that with complete certainty. And that's all the reasoning someone needs to use to convince Phoebe. Or at least, she's convinced that if Charlie somehow turns out to be a threat it will be on accident - which seems more likely to happen than Phoebe would like, but she goes silent and looks at Victor expectantly. He's the adult present, after all, and he's also the one who was followed so she figures that it's his job to figure out what happens now.

Victor stayed where he was. She sure was an interesting girl.... What with the ability to explode into a pink cloud. But like he had just remarked to Lupin. His life was anything but normal now. He looked around when the girl ran into the wall and made all the noise. It was extremely hard for him not to go and see if the teen was ok. The noise also put another thought into his head. He didn't want to have abunch of people coming to check it out. And when she made the claim to be Selena Gomez. He grinned. Alright now that was good. "I may be out of touch with the music scene but I know who Selena Gomez is." He commented.
Then when she did the puffing smoky thing again he took a sniff trying to place the smell. Then when she said who she really was he kept watching her... Just in case.... Then he heard the commented about his jawline he reached up and rubbed his chin. When Force confirmed that she was telling the truth he nodded. "Ok thanks for telling the truth..... But I wouldn't say I'm a, quote, hero. But thanks I'm flattered that you'd say I am." He really was, he looked over his shoulder when he thought he heard something. "And Thanks for the compliment but she's right I am alittle old for you." Then he looked over his shoulder again. "And if you don't mind I really don't want to be standing here right now... I can hear someone down the hall." He said looking from Force to the teenager trying his best not to look threatening.
