Deadshot was standing in line leading outside. The power to Blackgate was on the fritz. So they needed to fix it. The plan was to take the prisoners outside one cell block at a time and fix the wiring there, then put them back in. Little did they know Deadshot had decided that he was getting out that day.
After he had finally got out Deadshot wandered over to the perimeter. He saw about five armed guards standing at each end of the field. He stood where he was and looked at their weapons.
'M-16s' He thought as he looked at their rifles.
'I can handle that' He thought again as he moved a little closer to a guard. He waited for the man to look the other was then he grabbed the man and slammed him on the ground covering his mouth. He held the man on the ground and slowly strangled him to death. He picked up the man's M-16 He then hid behind a few bushes and looked around.
'It won't be long before they miss him.... What to do now?' He thought. He looked back at the man he had just killed and saw that he had been found.
'I was hoping it would have taken longer.' He thought. It didn't look like they saw him so he put more distance between them. He wished his was in his costume. He hated this prison jumpsuit. He heard the guards calling out to one an other. Somehow they had realized that it was Deadshot that got away.
Deadshot figured that he should find somewhere he could wait out the search and then try to get away. He found a dumpster and crouched behind it with the M-16 ready to fire. It felt good to have a gun in his hands after so long. He smiled.
'I'll wait for two hours then I'll get outta here.' He thought with a satisfied grin.

Today was the day. The Doctor stepped out of the ally way near the docking yard to be picked up by two of his newly acquired help. The car pulled up slowly with two normal looking men in the front. He had requested that for this they needed to look a bit less, abrasive. His attire was a bit of a change from his normal suit he would wear, his lab clothes, or his Scarecrow costume. Instead he wore a rather large trench coat with regular clothing underneath. Today he needed to blend in.
He adjusted his glasses and got into the back of the car. “Hurry up, we will be late” Dr. Crane said rather annoyed from the back seat. He had left himself plenty of time, but he didn't like the margin for error. This day would be a major risk, he had planned , as usual, but ready to change plans at a moments notice. With jail break involved anything could go wrong.
The Doctor found himself smiling rather proud of what he has done in such a short time. This would only be one step out of many to distract the heat from himself. The pressure was on in Gotham for sure now, from many more than just himself. It would only be a short ride to Blackgate, the last place he wanted to end up though it seemed necessary to oversee this operation at least. He had been communicating with Deadshot for a short while now through various prison inmates, maintenance men, and various other types that worked through out the Prison. This break out was planned, he had his reasons for wanting Deadshot on his side at the moment, Dr. Crane knew that he was the easily manipulated type, he could be bought.
The Doctor padded himself making sure he had the supplies he needed. He brought a healthy amount of gear gas in releasing containers though he didn't intend to use them unless necessary. He was always one to be prepared for the worst, after all, he was their worst nightmare. “Do you have it?” He asked from the back seat making sure that his more than questionable company wasn't going to mess up the grand escape. The thug in the passenger seat leaned forward and pulled a large taped roll of trinitrotoluene (as the common folk would say TNT) out from underneath his seat. The Doctor was never into destructive explosives in his chemistry studies, but he certainly knew how to make them.
Arriving now at the Blackgate entrance they were stopped by a guard. Gate check. Dr. Crane found it amusing that there was only one guard at the gate. He glanced in the car but then looked very distracted by something as his radio device went nuts. He was right, they were running late. The Doctor figured that Deadshot was a capable man, he could handle himself for the moment. The guard rather distracted now waved them through, it was time.
The Car came to a stop at the main entrance and they all exited the car. He envy’s those inside, wanting to see there panic for whatever happened inside. He was sure it had something to do with Deadshot. 'Couldn't wait' He thought to himself as he ordered the thugs to place the TNT at the correct point on the outer wall. After having studied the blueprints of the prison it would have enough force to break through the wall and have an opening in the courtyard. If Deadshot was where he was suppose to be, it would be the perfect opportunity for escape. Everything was in place, everything was ready...
3,2,1 BOOM. The wall came crashing inward. The rest was up to Deadshot to get to Crane and his escape vehicle.

Deadshot flinched slightly when the wall exploded. It wasn't that it scared him.... But rather he was too focused on the guards. A mistake he regretted. Another mistake he regretted was not taking an extra cli off the guard.
'I'm out of practice.' He thought to him self as he got up and started moving towards what was now a hole rather then a wall. Most of the other prisoners where just standing around dumbfounded. Not quite comprehending what was going on. Deadshot felt that he should get them moving. He fired the M-16 at a few of the guards. Killing them.
"Lets get out of here!" He shouted, it was that action that kicked started the chaos. Some prisoners starting getting revenge on the guards, others on each other. Most of them however followed Deadshot out through the hole.
As Deadshot ran infront of the pack he started firing at the snipers. He used up the rest of his ammo taking them out. He grinned.
"Come on boys! We're home free!" He shouted. Which caused the chaos to increase,
Deadshot managed to get away from the pack. And after a few minutes of searching he found who he was looking for. He walked up to the man in the trench coat.
"So you must be Scarecrow.... I thought you'd be taller." He said walking up to the man and discarding the M-16 in his hands.

Dr. Crane waited near the car standing between the door frame and the back seat itself. He wasn't going to leave himself a target. A shot from above would be devastating, if anyone unwanted were to approach him on foot however they were in for quite a surprise. Despite his methods and his regular methods of using his toxins to escape and gain the upper hand on his foes, he was skilled in other areas. The Doctor had studied and practiced a unique fighting style called Violent Dancing which was a beautiful mixture of Kung Fu-Crane and Drunken Boxing. To say the least he was talented with hand to hand combat.
Out of the rubble and dust ran two of his many recently acquired thugs thanks to the help of Poison Ivy. He watched them as the got into the drivers and passengers seat and prepared to drive off. The Doctor waited rather patiently for a prison break. Out of the now clearing dust a man approached him. This could only be the Deadshot he had heard so much about, the man sentenced to death row. “Plenty of time for pleasantries while we are leaving.” Dr. Crane said without another word. He then stepped into the back seat and closed the door behind him expecting Deadshot to get in on the other side. It was best he hurried before they had more than one person attempting to get into the car. The best time to escape was among the chaos. If only he could be inside for only a moment to capture the panic in everyone eyes.
Once Deadshot was in the could proceed to his current residence at the docks, soon to be in Arkham itself. The Dr. studied the questionable gun for hire that he had taken interest in. For now he would be perfect for what he needed. No one would suspect a thing.

Deadshot chuckled abit at Scarecrow's response. He watched the man get in the car. He then looked at the M-16 he dropped on the ground. It was a nice gun... But it wasn't HIS gun.
He looked back at the hole and saluted the prison.
'So long' He thought as he got into the car and closed the door. He looked around and then looked at Scarecrow. The man was tall and skinny. Unlike Deadshot who has a military build. He felt that if it came down to it he could fight Scarecrow in a hand to hand fight. Of course there was this Fear stuff he had.
"So what is it you couldn't tell me in our interactions?" He asked. He thought about asking how much he was going to pay. But he figured that he would wait and see what it was first.
He then turned to Scarecrow and looked him firmly in the eyes "And where can I get my gear?" He asked sternly.

The car sped off heading in the direction of the docks. There would be some time in between to speak. Dr. Crane met the hitmans eyes with his own cynical stare. The one that was quite expressionless but the doctors eyes said it all. There was just something in him that made him snap. Of course he could pass every sanity test with relative ease. It was difficult for them to keep him in Arkham when he was there, but no longer working there.
“Nothing that a man of your reputation, if it proceeds you wouldn't be able to handle.” He lied. Not that the target he wanted dealt with was an impossible kill, just harder than this hit man may think. The Doctors motives of course were always exterior. In fact he counted on the target not being eliminated. He tilted his head and adjusted his glasses some, thinking before he spoke. “Your gear? You can collect with the money you will be paid, and can be collected on your watch, Would you like me to pull the trigger for you as well?” He was a bit annoyed by Deadshots general disposition. As long as he continued to attempt at his job however, he would remain on Crane's good side.
If he was a smart man he would make an effort to remain on his good side. In this special case he hoped that his own reputation exceeded him, as much as Deadshots appealed to him. For now he withheld the information about the target until pressured for it further.

Deadshot listened to the man. 'Yeah this sounds like the Scarecrow I've heard about' He thought.
"Ok fair enough." He looked out the window and watched the buildings go by. He smiled as he remembered taking a shot from the top of the tower they just pasted.
"So the target is? And you'll have to wait I have a contact that can get me a sniper rifle." He said. "It will make it easier for me." He looked back at Scarecrow.
"Your the one with the thing about fear right? What's that stuff called again?" He asked. Trying to find out a bit more about this guy. After all its not like he was going to tell anyone who his client was. He was slightly curious. This guy did help him get out of Blackgate.
He then looked back out the window and remembered getting caught by Batman before getting sent to Blackgate. "The FBI are crawling all over now aren't they?" Deadshot then looked back at the man who was hiring him. This man really didn't look like what he thought he would.
'This guy can't be the Master of Fear I've heard about....... He's too normal looking...... Except for those eyes.' He thought. He didn't back down he kept up his guard. Looking as formidable as a man who just broke out of prison could be. 'I wonder what the Bat is doing.' He thought to himself.

Dr. Crane ignored his questions into his target again.”You have all the time you need to kill your mark..” He said simply beginning to think about what direction they were headed. The doctor wasn't very interested in the mans methods or how he got his jobs done. There was only one thing that truly interested Dr. Crane.
He smirked hearing Deadshot ask about his fear toxin. The man that sat beside him in the vehicle was nothing like him. It seemed to the doctor that he was very outspoken and upfront. He however was the opposite, a recluse and always with a hidden motive. When it came to the subject of fear however he couldn't resist. “I can show you if you'd like...” Dr. Crane stated almost as if it was a threat. For being the hired help this Deadshot asked entirely too many questions. “ The FBI wont be of a major concern to your well being, they are far too busy with the rest of Gotham” He answered with confidence in his words.
It wasn't that he believed they would never peruse Deadshot, he just knew that it would take time and their men were already spreading thin. “Why do you ask about my toxin? And the FBI?...You're not scared are you?” The Doctor said softly with cynical overtones in his voice. The doctor swallowed composing himself once more after letting a small chuckle leave him.

Deadshot smiled. "No I was just wanting to see how much I can make you say." He said. "What can I say I just got out of Blackgate and I'm ready for some action."
And with that he looked back out the window. Gotham hadn't changed much since he had been in Blackgate. Though he thought he remembered there being more people. He looked at the driver. He seemed to be a strange type. Not someone he would want watching his back.
He looked back out the window and started thinking about what this guy could possible want to hire him for. He obviously ain't scared of much. So he just sat there. Sat there and waited.

The doctor could tell that he was eager to get back to work. With his next target he would have his hands full. Deadshot's attention towards the driver made Crane turn his attention as well. They were approaching the docking yard.
Under a normal circumstance the doctor would have never entered this place mid day. He would have waited until he had the cover of darkness. But if there was one thing that Crane was not, it was stupid. The cameras at the Prison would have the make of the car and the plates. They needed to get out of and rid of the vehicle quickly.
“That's far enough” The doctor said to the driver. They had approached a position that was near his tucked under and covered hideout. It was his old place of residence, now that he resided in Arkham. For now though with his present company it was best that he only knew of him being here. Dr. Crane exited the vehicle as it came to a stop and leaned in to talk to the driver once more “Keep driving and get rid of the car.” He didn't care how it was done, that would be up to him.
With that he didn't waist a moment and headed straight down the first steps he could towards the docks. He assumed that Deadshot would follow him and keep up. He never looked behind him at the man, it wasn't that he trusted him, just that he wasn't concerned for his safety. The man behind him didn't frightened him. Nothing could. 'Nothing?'...Nothing.
He approached the small shack that he once called home and opened the door slowly. The doctor peered inside to make sure no one was there and the proceeded. Inside. It would be now that he could finally discuss with his new found business partner his new target. Going further inside he turned and waited for Deadshot to meet him. Until now he had refused to say anything about his target, for good reason. Dr. Crane was smart enough to know he shouldn't say anything about Deadshot's mark in front of his acquired help.

Deadshot followed Scarecrow and heard him talk. 'Well I've had stranger clients.' He thought as he kept following the man. He entered the shack behind him and looked around at the place.
'This looks like the place this guy would hang out with. Might want to keep track of it, just in case.' He looked around one more time to see if the cost was clear. "Shall I close the door?" He asked crossing his arms.
He looked at the man and narrowed his eyes, trying to make them adjust to his surroundings. He bowed his head slightly to indicate that he was listening. "And is there anyone else I should know about." He didn't know what it was but he had the feeling that someone else had been here, he didn't know why. But he felt he should ask just in case. He didn't want any competition after all. "You didn't hire Deathstroke at all did you?"

Dr. Crane nodded to him as he spoke about the door. It didn't matter much however the walls were paper thin. It was never an issue for him to keep his voice down. The doctor was always very soft spoken. He took a long pause and thought about the words he wanted to say next. There was a fire that was going to be lit that couldn't be stopped after today.
He swallowed and looked at Deadshot turning over the events to come in his head before finally speaking. “You may or may have not heard of her, she is fairly new to those in the criminal profession. Her alias she uses is Poison Ivy. This is your mark. I cannot give you any information on her location or her real name. You will have to get creative in finding her and killing her. But that is what you do best from what I hear. I have never hired a gun before” He explained the conditions of their verbal contract.
The doctor never expected that Deadshot would be able to kill Poison Ivy. She seemed to carry herself far too well already. Doing this was just one part of the plan he was forming. In this case it would be difficult for her to pin point who put a hit out on her until it was common knowledge that Dr. Crane was at the scene of the Jail break. If Deadshot was successful in killing her however, it wouldn't change his plans at all, just make things easier.
Dr. Crane moved to the mattress that was laying on the floor and lifted one side of it sliding out a black briefcase. He opened it infront of Deadshot and let him see what was in it for him. To the rim it was covered with tightly and neatly wrapped cash all in rows. Men like Deadshot were easily swayed by paper, Crane would never understand the fascination with it.

Deadshot first closed the door and listened and smiled when he saw the money. "All right... Got a certain time you want me to take her out. Or will anytime do?" He looked back at Scarecrow. "If not I'll be heading out right now. With the money?"
He reached up to grab the case and started thinking. 'First I got to go get a rifle and then I'll be home free with the money.' He thought He started to go over the hit in his mind.

Dr. Crane took three stacks of money out of the case and then shut it firmly placing it by his side. His eyes dared the man in front of him to jump him for the money. Slowly he stretched his arm out to hand him the money. “Insurance.” Was all he stated to Deadshot. He wasn't stupid nor was he going to let Deadshot believe that he trusted him. Their business here was concluded as far as Crane was concerned. The money he was handing him should have been more than enough to get him by for the moment.
The first part of his plans was finally behind him. Pitting Deadshot against Ivy would provide an excellent distraction for himself. It would keep her busy enough and out of his business, so he thought. He would remain with his attention on Deadshot for the moment while he still remained in his presence. Dr. Crane didn't want to stay here for very long, but he didn't want to leave while Deadshot was still around to follow him to Arkham. For now their business was best done at a distance.

Deadshot nodded. "Ok I understand......" He said looking at the man and taking the offered money. He looked around the room some then back at Scarecrow.
He then turned around and opened the door. As he walked out he said. "Off to get your girlfriend." Grinning the whole way he walked off to start his mission.
