Being a tamaranean Kory has the gift of flight that humans could only dream of. Her body continually absorbs energy every second of the day a common trait of her race. The less covered her skins is the more powerful she is as well as her skills. Such as Superhuman strength which has out weighed or matched even her fellow titan teammates the robotic half man Cyborg and wonder woman's counter part Donna Troy. Although its not entirely known how strong she is, she is not the strongest, but when her teammates have needed to restrain her it generally takes 2 or 3 super strong heroes. Also has immunity to most injuries and illnesses. Able to travel through space with out aid of anything other than her own lungs, which it isn't known exactly what the tamaraneans breathe, but they do not need oxygen that's for sure. Another skill is Stafire's ability to absorb language through a single touch. Favourably she does by a kiss, much like she did upon meeting a certain wondrous boy.
Starfire also can create Starbolts. Not a tamaranean trait, but an after effect of the experiments she was put through many years ago. When she was overloaded with energy absorbed in the skin. Komand'r found a much high ranking position here and with lending them vital information for how to over throw Tamaran. It didn't take much for the Citadel to take Tamaran rather easy. A bargain was made if the king wished for peace, to hand over Koriand'r to them unable to ever return to Tamaran otherwise the peace would be broken. Koriand'r was barely in her teens, a young age in human ways when she was then taken and forced to serve her sister. Her master. For six years Kory suffered at her own sister's hands, whom flat out hated Kory. Even has said made the mistake of being born. Kory was tortured and raped by members of the Citadel by the words of Komand'r. Kory did fight back killing one of the rapists. Though unable to escape as she was caught and her sister sentenced Kory to die.
Before Kory's execution could be done. They were attacked by the Psions. Whom ended up capturing not only Koriand'r but Komand'r as well. The sadistic scientists put the two sisters under multiple experiments, both cruel and brutal. Trying to see just how much energy the two of them could take before their bodies would explode. As a result Koriand'r is able to use starbolts. These also allowed her to escape her restraints. Freeing also her sister whom instead of thanking Koriand'r struck her down whom had absorbed more energy caused her to have stronger starbolts and it also finally allowed her flight. Komand'r then set to execute her sister once again. Kory flirting with the guard abled her to finally escape for good and steal a vessel. Kory fled to the first planet she could find. Which just happened to be Earth.
Upon her arrival she met a young team of superheroes named the Teen Titans. With first unable to communicate, The leader robin sort to try and calm the over emotional alien. Even to this day despite that lack of speech. There was something of a understanding. Robin saw right through Kory when the others saw only the destruction she accidentally created. Kory then did kiss the boy wonder much to his surprise and she very much enjoyed it. From that moment on there was always a connection in which Kory holds most dear to her heart. Upon then learning english it wasn't long after that Kory then joined the titans. Then taking on the new name of STARFIRE, dubbed by her teammates. With the Teen Titans, Kory truly found a home away from her place in Tamaran. Finding a real family she considered within her teammates and whom she would go to lengths to protect. The team was met with challenges along the years and defeated most of them. Soon there was no where else Kory would ever wish to be.
Back on Tamaran her sister still seeking revenge had arranged a marriage between Koriand'r and Prince Karras, was meant to be for the good of Tamaran. Though really it was Komand'r being hateful and destroying all happiness Koriand'r had now found. During which Kory had found a romantic relationship with her fellow Titan Dick Grayson. From the first kiss it took her two years of asking before one battle caused Kory to be injured and Dick asked her out. When the betrothal was revealed it was deep within their relationship. Kory had no choice as it was meant to save and help Tamaran. Though it put a strain on the relationship. Causing Dick to make Kory choose. When she with all her heart loved Dick and did not wish for this marriage, but there was little she could do. Somethings happened shortly after the marriage which led to her husband to die. Upon her return to earth. Kory rejoined her teammates. It took some time before her relationship with Dick would begin to rebuild, but it eventually did.

Although the choice of this was very much Dick's own choice, it was the gentle, honest and positive nature of Kory that allowed Dick the opportunity to really open up after such restrictions that Bruce had trained Dick to have. Though through all the strict behaviour Dick seemed to have, Kory knew through all the time spend just how vast Dick heart was. It was what separated him from Bruce. Whom Kory always thought as a rather cold person, someone to respect, but something just didn't mesh well to her nature. When the news of the second betrothal to General Phy'zzon came to secure the state of Tamaran, it had been another difficult choice and put yet another restraint on the relationship. Eventually causing the departure of Kory for Tamaran and leaving earth meant for good and Dick Grayson behind. Kory did find some form of love with this new husband. Though it did not out weigh her love for Dick as Kory always believed what she had for Dick was eternal it was forever, but it was defiantly love of some kind for this new husband. Somewhere through time and space, a war struck the planet of Tamaran. It caused the planet to explode. Those who survived where moved to a new planet dubbed New Tamaran. Though a woman that came to Kory spoke of a coming threat over this new planet. In which Kory informed her sister now Queen, but was not believed and Kory was then banished from Tamaran. Shortly upon leaving the new planet as it had be predicted, it soon exploded. After the destruction of her home planet of Tamaran by the Sun-Eater, which killed her parents, most of her people, including her husband, Starfire realized that Earth was now her true and only home. Now widowed and Tamaran truly gone, Kory is returning home. To Earth. Finding all she has missed and with no where else to go, she needs her family now more than ever. But with so much that has changed, it will probably be some time as The tamaranean princess truly settles back in, but with the smell of the air, Kory already knows she is home. Perhaps Raven was up in her room, meditating. Kory could almost believe she saw some form of light up there, but it was just the sunlight. Picturing Dick offering a hug, while Roy snickered about the affection and trying some cheesy way to throw in a pick up line. Which would only confuse Kory and make Dick mad. Kory's eyes watered at the amusing thought. They were mixed tears of both sad and joy. Maybe her long absence had made her more home sick, than she thought.

This place was sacred and it needed to stay that way. Outsiders just wouldn't understand. Lucky, for her they hadn't heard her entered. So she caught the dark mask men of guard as she struck them with a starbolt. Knocking one of them over. The other then turned and aimed to run Starfire down. He was no match. She caught him by the throat and lifted him high. Taking a good look so he could do the same. He wasn't about to forget her face. She smiled darkly at him. During which the other man got up and ran at her. So she caught him as well, by the throat. Lifting him as she had with the other. She lifted herself of the ground and carried them to the front door. Throwing them as harshly as she could, the door hitting one of them on the way out. Their bodies hit the ground hard and there eyes now looked upon her with fright.
"Try this again, or you might not see daylight for awhile. Oh and just a heads up. The tower is watched, so next time you may have more Titans to deal with. You got it? Now, leave!"
Starfire seeing they were just teen boys now after she had ripped their masks off, figured just to give them a warning. She was sure they weren't game enough to return. After being expelled, Komand'r soon rallied enemies of Tamaran best known as the Citadel. Komand'r found a much high ranking position here and with lending them vital information for how to over throw Tamaran. It didn't take much for the Citadel to take Tamaran rather easy. A bargain was made if the king wished for peace, to hand over Koriand'r to them unable to ever return to Tamaran otherwise the peace would be broken. Koriand'r was barely in her teens, a young age in human ways when she was then taken and forced to serve her sister. Her master. For six years Kory suffered at her own sister's hands, whom flat out hated Kory. Even has said made the mistake of being born. Kory was tortured and raped by members of the Citadel by the words of Komand'r. Kory did fight back killing one of the rapists. Though unable to escape as she was caught and her sister sentenced Kory to die.
Before Kory's execution could be done. They were attacked by the Psions. Whom ended up capturing not only Koriand'r but Komand'r as well. The sadistic scientists put the two sisters under multiple experiments, both cruel and brutal. Trying to see just how much energy the two of them could take before their bodies would explode. As a result Koriand'r is able to use starbolts. These also allowed her to escape her restraints. Freeing also her sister whom instead of thanking Koriand'r struck her down whom had absorbed more energy caused her to have stronger starbolts and it also finally allowed her flight. Komand'r then set to execute her sister once again. Kory flirting with the guard abled her to finally escape for good and steal a vessel. Kory fled to the first planet she could find. Which just happened to be Earth.
Upon her arrival she met a young team of superheroes named the Teen Titans. With first unable to communicate, The leader robin sort to try and calm the over emotional alien. Even to this day despite that lack of speech. There was something of a understanding. Robin saw right through Kory when the others saw only the destruction she accidentally created. Kory then did kiss the boy wonder much to his surprise and she very much enjoyed it. From that moment on there was always a connection in which Kory holds most dear to her heart. Upon then learning english it wasn't long after that Kory then joined the titans. Then taking on the new name of STARFIRE, dubbed by her teammates. With the Teen Titans, Kory truly found a home away from her place in Tamaran. Finding a real family she considered within her teammates and whom she would go to lengths to protect. The team was met with challenges along the years and defeated most of them. Soon there was no where else Kory would ever wish to be.
Back on Tamaran her sister still seeking revenge had arranged a marriage between Koriand'r and Prince Karras, was meant to be for the good of Tamaran. Though really it was Komand'r being hateful and destroying all happiness Koriand'r had now found. During which Kory had found a romantic relationship with her fellow Titan Dick Grayson. From the first kiss it took her two years of asking before one battle caused Kory to be injured and Dick asked her out. When the betrothal was revealed it was deep within their relationship. Kory had no choice as it was meant to save and help Tamaran. Though it put a strain on the relationship. Causing Dick to make Kory choose. When she with all her heart loved Dick and did not wish for this marriage, but there was little she could do. Somethings happened shortly after the marriage which led to her husband to die. Upon her return to earth. Kory rejoined her teammates. It took some time before her relationship with Dick would begin to rebuild, but it eventually did.
During this time Kory helped with the pushing of Dick Grayson to step away from Bruce's shadow and into a hero all of his own, Nightwing. Although the choice of this was very much Dick's own choice, it was the gentle, honest and positive nature of Kory that allowed Dick the opportunity to really open up after such restrictions that Bruce had trained Dick to have. Though through all the strict behaviour Dick seemed to have, Kory knew through all the time spend just how vast Dick heart was. It was what separated him from Bruce. Whom Kory always thought as a rather cold person, someone to respect, but something just didn't mesh well to her nature. When the news of the second betrothal to General Phy'zzon came to secure the state of Tamaran, it had been another difficult choice and put yet another restraint on the relationship. Eventually causing the departure of Kory for Tamaran and leaving earth meant for good and Dick Grayson behind. Kory did find some form of love with this new husband. Though it did not out weigh her love for Dick as Kory always believed what she had for Dick was eternal it was forever, but it was defiantly love of some kind for this new husband. Somewhere through time and space, a war struck the planet of Tamaran. It caused the planet to explode. Those who survived where moved to a new planet dubbed New Tamaran. Though a woman that came to Kory spoke of a coming threat over this new planet. In which Kory informed her sister now Queen, but was not believed and Kory was then banished from Tamaran. Shortly upon leaving the new planet as it had be predicted, it soon exploded. After the destruction of her home planet of Tamaran by the Sun-Eater, which killed her parents, most of her people, including her husband, Starfire realized that Earth was now her true and only home. Now widowed and Tamaran truly gone, Kory is returning home. To Earth. Finding all she has missed and with no where else to go, she needs her family now more than ever. But with so much that has changed, it will probably be some time as The tamaranean princess truly settles back in, but with the smell of the air, Kory already knows she is home. There is one she needs to see the most. Whom shouldn't be hard to find. Nightwing.

The titans are like family to her and will go to great lengths to protect them. Komand'r her sister is her rival. Her parents are dead and most of her race along with them.
RP Sample: It had been barely a week since Starfire had shot back to earth. It was the strange thing of trying to slip back into a routine, the only problem with that. Was Kory didn't know where that routine truly laid. At least for the hero world. She knew she had planned for much more than that on her return. She planned to truly shake this world, in more ways than one. It was just a matter of seeking her friends. Feel where everyone stood, whether together still or apart. Were they safe? Of course she cared and she knew little as much as they would know about her. It was possible they thought her dead. There wasn't a feeling crossing her mind, wondering why hadn't they come looking for her. That would be selfish on both parts, right? There were plenty of real people that needed them more. Though in truth they wouldn't have known where to start even if they wanted to find her. It even took Kory a while to realise just where she was.
During her time she learned many things, she had barely knew. Things about the world, all worlds. More importantly she learned more about herself and just what she could bring. Not too just earth, but the entire universe. Even though Earth had began to feel not a part of her when she left, making her feel even more than an alien. Something about the planet, just kept her coming back. For as long as there were many people that looked down upon her as a freak, there were even more that felt just the same. That needed a voice. Or even someone to listen and to understand. In the end, they were all one thing. Life. If it wasn't important, it wouldn't of been created. That was just how Kory understood it. It was the seeking of life, which led Kory to the tower.
It loomed above her. Flashes of hopes and dreams, mixed with memories drove madly in her mind. It was world that maybe was just a few years go, but almost felt like at least a few lifetimes had past. Though standing at the base of where it all started, could bring Kory right back into the flashes. As if they were happening just now. Life was so much simpler back then. Of course Titans faced death everyday, but the whole sense of family. Just made it all completely bearable. It was something Kory and all titans will forever cherish. Something that truly separated them from the non-titans of the hero world. And when ever something would bring them back together, it was like coming back home all over again. They were Kory's home. It made her sad quite often that the moments had more or less passed. But she could always be sure if she ever needed one of the titans help, they would be there.
Kory half expected to see Beast boy flying around her head in one of his bird forms. Or see Cyborg coming down to greet her with one of his super strong handshakes, trying out win Kory's. Perhaps Raven was up in her room, meditating. Kory could almost believe she saw some form of light up there, but it was just the sunlight. Picturing Dick offering a hug, while Roy snickered about the affection and trying some cheesy way to throw in a pick up line. Which would only confuse Kory and make Dick mad. Kory's eyes watered at the amusing thought. They were mixed tears of both sad and joy. Maybe her long absence had made her more home sick, than she thought.
Her eyes quickly dried as she saw movements behind the door. She at first thought her previous thoughts of Raven was right, but she soon could tell they were no titans. Kory all dressed in her Starfire outfit, flew through the doors. She was met with the faces of the past. All carved in stone. Then two forms seeking to mark some of the statues, currently attacking Jericho's and Terra's. Maybe trying to draw attention to the titans, Starfire wasn't sure. Either way they had that now. This place was sacred and it needed to stay that way. Outsiders just wouldn't understand. Lucky, for her they hadn't heard her entered. So she caught the dark mask men of guard as she struck them with a starbolt. Knocking one of them over. The other then turned and aimed to run Starfire down. He was no match. She caught him by the throat and lifted him high. Taking a good look so he could do the same. He wasn't about to forget her face. She smiled darkly at him. During which the other man got up and ran at her. So she caught him as well, by the throat. Lifting him as she had with the other. She lifted herself of the ground and carried them to the front door. Throwing them as harshly as she could, the door hitting one of them on the way out. Their bodies hit the ground hard and there eyes now looked upon her with fright.
"Try this again, or you might not see daylight for awhile. Oh and just a heads up. The tower is watched, so next time you may have more Titans to deal with. You got it? Now, leave!"
Starfire seeing they were just teen boys now after she had ripped their masks off, figured just to give them a warning. She was sure they weren't game enough to return. She wasn't far off in saying the tower was watched as she pointed to one of the cameras above the door. It didn't take long for the two boys to get up and run. Kory just smiled. Problem solved. She hoped. She waved at the camera above her head. There was no way to tell where he was watching it, but she was hoping Cyborg was waving back. She doubted he would just jump into what ever vehicle and come meet her at the tower. This was enough. She turned back into the tower. Walking around the statues. Then stopping to get rid of any marks and getting the statues looking spectacular once again. It was always good to see a friends face again even if it was just of stone.
