Gotham was as crime riddled as she had been told. And she had seen that for herself since she'd been there. There were a lot of strange freaks in this town. Though some more dangerous than others. She hadn't met a thug yet that didn't pull out a guy or a crowbar at her.
At first glance, she was just another vigilante wannabe. At times, she had more of the wander into the crime scene style, looking like she just stumbled into a bad situation. But she was the one that made it worse. These crooks didn't know who they were dealing with.
For once it felt kind of good trying to help out a city than be apart of it's destruction. Even though, the times in Metropolis weren't all her fault. She had just gotten in with the wrong crowd after all that had happened in her life. And she was trying to do her best to change it and help others for once.
Tonight was another night like she had been trying to do most of the time she had been there. Wandering the streets and looking for trouble. And tonight she was going to find it, just like she had been able to. There was some strange activity going on at an old warehouse at the other end of East Gotham. She had picked up the vibes from the area. It was the easiest way for her to track down those trying to perform a quiet mission. That didn't work to well when you were up against someone that could scene the minds thoughts to find these kind of situations.
Brook floated behind a few building watching what was going on. As she got closer, she lowered herself that she had her feet on the ground. She liked to go in looking all innocent and helpless, it was more fun to see the reaction of the crooks when they found out she wasn't just your average vigilante like the Bat-family around this city.
She slowly moved toward the corner of the building to look over to see a car parked outside of the building. You're typical black car parked outside the build. There was either a meeting going on or some kind of secret trade between someone. There were to goons off to the side standing outside the door. Alright, so that way was out of course.
Brook looked up toward the roof. There were windows lining the top of the building. That would work. She rather be able to see what was going on on the inside before she got in. She didn't want to get herself backed into a corner or trapped right away. Ha, like they would be able to trap her.
As Sparrow she floated to the windows and glance around. The coast was clear. So, she decided to phase through the window and wall rather and try to open it. It wasn't all that thick so it made her job easier. Once in she ducked behind a few crates on the ledge lining the warehouse. There were a few office on this floor. The warehouse was empty and quiet, but she could sense someone talking.
Brook stayed down and climbed around the crates and stayed hidden until she was outside a small office where she could hear someone talking. She stayed behind some crates and tried to use her mind to listen into the conversation and thoughts of whoever was within the room. Her main focus now on what was going on in there.
