Frowning at that idea, there's obvious skepticism in Phoebe's mental voice as she comments, I don't think that would work. The guard will probably see you the moment you leave the cell, and even if he doesn't, the guys in the security room are supposed to be watching the cameras all the time, and even if they don't, you're really close to the lobby and if anyone in here hears any funny noises they'll probably come running.

So I'm going to have to go about this old School. Which means hit everyone an hope I don't get shot. Heroes are Three parts fool. Unless you can assist in any other way, I don't want you to have to pay for this.

There's a very long pause as Phoebe considers that response, So you want me to just let you out so you can run around hoping that you don't get shot? That's crazy! I could probably do a lot of things that would help, but it'd have to be a smart plan - that's a stupid plan.
Phoebe isn't so naive as to believe that she can help him without there being some risk that her part in it will be discovered - the failures among her previous ventures in the area of getting away with things taught her that much - and she's not about to risk that on a plan that she's not confident will succeed. And she has only somewhat of an idea of what sort of skills this guy has at his disposal, while at the same time being very aware of just how well trained the kind of people who end up guarding such a place are.

Its stupid, unpredictable, Insane, worked so many times, I can't take out the camera, I can't run, Which all in all limits me to having to react. What better conditions are there for that then starting mass chaos. Unless you can cut the power. Black outs were common in the city, especially in newer buildings.

Well if you're going to do a stupid plan, you can do it by yourself, Phoebe replies stubbornly. His belief in his ability to simply improvise his way out vastly exceeds her own. Though the last part of what he says causes her to pause in thought for a moment before she adds, I'm able to cut the power, but I don't know how. At least not without breaking things so much it says, 'Force did this.'

Well then whats your brilliant Idea kid? He too was getting impatient. The other option was for him to wait an see when someone would notice that he was indeed missing. Can't you overload a breaker? that happens on its own, It would knock out power until someone could come an fix it.

Don't ask me - I've never had to escape from anywhere before, and if I did it would be easy, Phoebe retorts. And this time there isn't much of a pause when she adds, And I don't know - what's a breaker, and how do you overload one?

A breaker is an electrical switch designed to protect a circuit, basically too much power goes through it an it cuts the power off. you have ones for building an then ones for the are for the power that runs into the building. Taking out a larger one would mean that the power company would have to come cut it back one. which would mean more time.

Considering that one, Phoebe replies, Oh. Well maybe not that then - I have regular kinesis, not electrokinesis. I move stuff, not power. Not that she's about to be jealous of anyone with that particular talent - so easy to defeat. Still, directly causing power surges is something that lies outside Phoebe's abilities.

There might be another way, On every breaker there is a manual off switch, but it looks exactly the same if its been over loaded so you would be in the clear. He couldn't fault the kid for not being able to do something. She would probably get into trouble for just conversing with him.

While it's likely that Phoebe would get into trouble for talking to him, that would naturally require her to be caught doing it - which would be practically impossible without reason to suspect it. Someone watching her closely would notice unexplained changes in her expression, but that's likely to be overlooked unless someone has a specific reason to take note of that. No, if she's going to get into trouble here, it'll be for something much worse than talking to him.
Well, where would I find a breaker then? she asks. Flipping a switch sounds easy enough.

It will be in a metal box on a power pole, outside, Thats probably going to be the challenge in it, I don't know the extent of what you can do. The point being that he was out cold when he was brought in left him to a disadvantage, but his mind was sharp enough that it could formulate a plan once new points of a lay out could be seen. Out side of the compound was a variable. Having no plan was better than to have one an be disappointed when it failed.

Frowning a little at that, Phoebe simply comments, Well, too bad I can't see through walls or metal boxes then, huh? Not that she doesn't have the ability to move things she can't see, but that's difficult and can only be accomplished well when she knows where and what she's trying to move. A switch in a metal box she's never paid attention to on a pole outside is certainly not one of those things.

Then you need to put a bit of trust in me an open the cell He was going to have to be careful about this, but still sharp in all aspect of the word.

But that's never going to work! Phoebe insists, her voice impatient at having to reject the same idea twice, You'd be shot before you'd get halfway out. And I'm not going to unlock the door just so you can get killed a second later. You'd be better off trying to escape when they move you like you were thinking before.
