This was a shot in the Dark, complete an possible insanity, But whoever said he was sane. More or less one of those Occam's Razor moments. Well as crazy as this is going to sound, you could come with me, I know people that could get you back to your parents, an then all of you out of the country. Question highly doubted that she would go for something like that but right now he was willing to try anything. Starting with the simplest of solutions.
Huntress would have a field day if he brought back a kid. However he could not morally leave here hear with these... people. Though there was only so much he could do to keep the F.B.I. away from her if she did so chose to go with him.
Something just didn't sit right at all.

Phoebe greets that idea with complete silence at first. It's something she's often wondered about ever since she realized that she much have parents out there in order to exist in the first place: who are her parents? She has absolutely no memory of them, and any child naturally wonders what they're like. Then again, any child is also going to wonder if two unknown adults would even like her, or if she'd like them, or any one of a hundred questions that easily prompt a fear of the unknown.
I want to stay with Agent Stevens, she replies quietly. Perhaps it would surprise someone as skeptical of the government as the Question, but the agent chosen to be Phoebe's guardian actually makes a least somewhat of a good mother substitute. Not that they have a real mother/daughter bond, but she's been the one constant in Phoebe's life for as long as she can remember, and she really does care about Phoebe in her way. And on Phoebe's end, the woman is the only person in the world that she actually trusts. If she shows any trust to anyone else, it's only because Phoebe is reading their thoughts and knows that they mean what they say.

Of course, it wasn't going to work, It was Worth a shot. Partially he was in the same parent less boat that she was in, the big difference being people though. Vic really didn't want to think too terribly much about it. He had put that behind him, closed that chapter full of unanswerable questions. More or less closed the book an burned it along with the bridge.
The only other options that were left was wait on the agents to move him an strike, Wait on someone else to bail him out. or this girl to possibly changer her mind. Either way Question was going no where fast.

Considering the Question's problem a bit more, Phoebe finds herself a bit torn. She believes in the FBI's current mission even though some of this man's thoughts clearly cast some doubt on it. She'd have to get more information from different sources before she'd be able to figure out what to make of it. And what on earth is she supposed to do if it turns out that this man is right about everything? Given that she's surrounded by so many people whose opinion contrasts sharply with it his still seems unlikely to her, but the fact remains that he believes it so she has to entertain the possibility that he might be correct.
On the other hand, there's another issue that she's completely certain of: he doesn't deserve to die. She could still easily argue the issue of whether or not he should have done what he did, but the fact remains that his motivations both in the actions that he took that led him to getting caught and his personal philosophy are definitely good. And she does realize that the FBI aren't going to let him go because of his mask: she can all too easily hear them making the point that he should just tell them how to get his mask off. But she's caught a number of his own thoughts that indicate that he doesn't even consider that an option.
Finally making up her mind, she replies, Just because I don't want to go doesn't mean I won't help - if there's something I can do without getting caught. And she's sure that there's gotta be something - she is rather talented, after all, and he seems to be pretty smart.

It was just enough of an offer to give this realistic pessimist a shred of hope. Question sat up on the floor an Limped over to the barred door. He slid his arm between the bars an placed his hand on the lock.
I just need the door unlocked an number of people here

Thinking about that for a moment, Phoebe comments, I can unlock your door - I guess if that just happens they'll think you picked the lock. There's a guard at the end of the hallway you're next to; four more are in the lobby with me, and two other people - I don't know what they're doing. Or the other way, there's another guard around the corner down that hallway. There's other guards in the hallways all over the building too. And there's something like fifteen people in that meeting I'm listening to; that's just down a different hallway. And that's just on this floor. Oh, and you probably should know that everyone has guns. This building may not have a fence around it or the other trappings of a prison, but it is a facility that they're using to house high level criminals so they're not sparing on manpower. And Agent Tiff's 'shoot anyone who tries to escape' policy is fully in force around here.

Avoid the lobby then, What Kind of guns, talking hand guns or high powered assault rifles? He was trying to mentally put together a Plan of action that wasn't going to end with his brains over the side of the pavement. Speaking of brains, where in the hell was his hat? No matter, he was going to have to leave it, If it was even here an not just left in the road. Which pulled up several other questions, where was his Car, the doctor, His plasma torch.
Any ways, If it was hand guns, which at this point he doubted, the bullet resistant material of his jacket would block them. Question would just be left with multiple bruises. However were he to get his hands on a gun, he could silence the guard.

Oh Phoebe's end, she just hopes that she ends up with nothing at all blamed on her. This isn't the first time she's done something 'naughty', but this does overshadow most of what she's done by far - the other times were literally kid stuff. And it's been a very long time since she was caught as well.
The guards have rifles and everyone else has handguns, she answers. Well, everyone except for her, anyway, but giving Phoebe a gun would be like giving a set of brass knuckles to a bear.

Avoid guards at all costs, Or take theme out from behind. Then a better Idea hit him. Why fight his way out when he could just walk out the front? Occam's Razor he thought to himself. Alright Kid, I'm going to owe you big time if I can pull this off

Suddenly overcome with curiosity, Phoebe is practically forced to ask, What're you going to do? And what's an Occam's Razor anyway? Whatever is going to happen, she's sure that it's going to be exciting.

A bit perplexed by that statement, Phoebe asks, But how is that supposed to work? The guards aren't just going to let you go. And I'm right here too.[/color][/i] And she's not about to help him if he can't do it in a way that doesn't get her into trouble.

Not If I have a uniform He knew that with a simple tilt of his head a shadow cast by a hat k would cover his lack of a face. The uniform would allow him to get out uninterrupted. theoretically

Oh, Phoebe responds, though that naturally leads to another question, How're you going to get a uniform then? She's not really sure whether a uniform would work or not - she'd think that everyone would notice that he doesn't have a face no matter what he's wearing.
