Wayne Enterprises was the biggest corporation and one of the biggest in the world. It was the center of every known science, technology, biology, environmental, and ground breaking discoveries. Freeze knew Department of Cryogenics would have the materials and new materials needed to build his ice base.
The thugs had been hired, the mercenaries equipped. Pointing his gun at the main door, freeze pulled the trigger as a beam of blue and white ice energy spun and hit the door freezing it. Freeze then kicked the door and the door shattered. Batman wouldn't dare enter this fasage of life Freeze then turned to his thugs "You have your lists of what I need, take them, then burn the building to the ground" The thugs complied with a rumbling into the building. Freeze walked to the research levels, and took some of the files and new tech. It was good enough but freeze would make it better.
He was in need of a new cryogenic material that would keep his suit design for the next five years. He found it in the staging area, swiping it. The uniform needed some adjustments but it was better than the one he wore. But Freeze was also in need of a specific file, one that would gain him the extra help he needed with Nora. After all he was a scientigic genius and an expert in Cryogenics, he didn't need that much help. Going up to the Fourth Level was key to the file room. Walking quickly, to the door of the main file area of all the companies assets, workers, former workers, research files, everything that was documented. "Wanye sure knows nothing about cryogenics and how ice interacts with wood" The blast from his gun at the door was enough for the door to shatter like most things that were blasted by his advanced gun. Freeze smashed the key hole in the file cabinet, and the door opened. Revealing hundreds of files. There was also a computer, near. The room was warm, which irritated Freeze.
Accessing the computer was harder than most, considering the domain was on lock down. Freeze took out some equipment used for hacking. His hackert that he hired, followed and immediately put the equipment to use. Freeze looked through the files. "Work fast and you'll get paid" said Freeze. Freeze came by Boyle's file, staring at the paper and looking through the documents, like he just found gold. Freeze put the file on the cabinet. The Files were neatly shuffed, alphabetically of course, but the one doctor who he needed now had left recently, Nina Stenet. Freeze realized her file was probably in the special cases cabinet, which he smashed with his arm, now more files. The adrenaline kicking the icy in his body. "Perfect" replied freeze, who had just found the file.
Looking at the young doctors file, was most of her critical information. Cards, ID's, acess codes, height, intense background check information, data, and many of her documents. " Another fairly intelligent young woman, not as intelligent as me in the scientific field, but none the less important. A woman who spent her life doing research in the field, just like Victor. The hacker suddenly spoke up " Done, boss," Freeze with curiousity looked at the computer and wrote some more information down. "Good job Billy, erase any information of use being here, shut off the cameras, and get yourself out of here". The hacker promptly began working as fast as he possibly could. Freeze smiled, all the things he came for were now completed. Freeze gave a diamond deposit to Billy and left him $1,000 dollars in another small bag.
Freeze, eagerly got out of the level takign the elevator to the second level. While chaos was ensuing, papers flung and ice freezing all. Freeze looked down in sadness, but remembered his task, he would get Nora and cure her. A number two thug smashed the window and began pouring gasoline into the wide room. Freeze jumped in through the window and ran to the thug. "Noo!" He smashed the gun and punched the thug who was thrown into the wall, the snapping off his neck, he fell to the ground as the large cabinet fell on him from breakage. Freeze took one of the containers and put it in it's bag, The gasoline was in place.

[/b] Babs asked, delivering a punch to the man and pulling the keys from the van ignition. Now to find out who was behind this, she thought, glancing back to see exactly what was in the van. Jumping from the door of it she landed on the ground and trained her eyes on the approaching figure. Mr Freeze. Precisely who she wanted to see tonight, she thought. She straightened up and looked across at him. Babs was well aware her presence was no where near as daunting as Batman, or even Nightwing's, but that often gave her the advantage. "Great," Babs muttered to herself, taking a deep breath. Tonight had been a long night, and it was about to get even longer.[/ul]

Freeze knew something had gone wrong. The van wasn't running, and the mission was only to take fifteen minutes not thirty. Freeze took out his ranged scanner and saw a few red dots, which were probably police cars coming to arrest him. The other thugs were on the other side, Freeze turned around and went out the back entrance where the larger truck had been, loading the new cryo statis tube into the van.
The thugs closed the door. Looking into the surrounding gun man that he hired. " Get out your guns, and explosives, I'll light the fire you cover me", Freeze adjusted his gun to make it more effective, and then walked to the area with the most gasoline trails, they were all connected and lights a match thinking about the reaction on the wayne company, since he knows Cryogenics is a heavy cost and many don't like it.

[/b] She asked, and cursed when she got no reply. It wasn't like they were all out enjoying a riveting social life or something, Babs thought as she ran down the corridor. She paused when she saw Freeze and the lit match and she knew she had to act quickly, worried the lit match could drop anywhere and start the blaze if she tackled him. "Freeze!" Babs snapped, drawing attention to herself for the first time. "Don't do it!" She warned. "You've got what you want, there's no need to do this now," she reasoned. Babs was just buying time, hoping she wouldn't have to take this fight alone. The match would only last so long before it burned out, and she hoped she could distract him for so long. [/ul]

Freeze was just about to let the match go when batgirl came in ""You've got what you want, there's no need to do this now," Freeze turned his head, his blue, black eyes staring into her brown eyes. "So naive, when you have nothing to lose but everything to gain you do things for goals, personal ones. Leave me be, and you won't be shivering in this burning building"
Freeze had made his opinion clear, too clear. He knew she was buying time, that didn't matter. He would have said the same thing to anyone trying to stop him. Batman would have hit Freeze first, but batgirl wasn't batman. She wasn't at the standard. The match was going to go out, and he knew she was going to attack. Freeze and batgirl would be dead as the building explodes.
"You don't know the pain that I feel. The losses that have crippled my life, and opened my eyes to a wide arrange of hard learned truths". To pretend that you don't care would be suicide. Stand aside", Freeze was being too clear to the girl and soon adjusted his words so that they would be colder as his heart became colder.
Freezes com link with the henchmen was beeping, signalling it was time to get out of there. Freeze also heard sirens. Freeze dropped the match into the gasoline, the trail of gasoline lit up in a red blaze. With great speed the trail was lit and things were burning. Every department was on fire or was iced. This would be one of the many attacks on this wayne section of the company. Next was Wayne waterworks. Personal vendetta against the company that bought out Boyle's company. The one Freeze worked for. Now Boyle is an executive officer here. He was transferred to the water division.

"Batman? Nightwing? Anyone?"
Bruce threw himself across the large gap between the building he stood upon and the next one, and rolled as he landed. He was quickly back onto his feet, running as fast as he could to the next gap.
"En route Batgirl, hold on," Bruce replied down the earpiece, keeping check of his breathing.
The security systems had detected a break in at Wayne Enterprises, and it didn't take too long for the alarm to reach Bruce himself. He suited up and headed out ASAP, trying to get as much information as he could to his PDA. He'd gotten himself a live feed from the CCTV cameras, and watched as Mr Freeze made his presence known.
Bruce finally landed on the Wayne Enterprises roof, and headed over to the vent access, and leapt into it, falling down. He knew the ins and outs of this building, and had memorised every tiny bit of it. He knew exactly how to reach the section where Freeze was, and it wouldn't even take him too long. He travelled through the ventilation system, and eventually burst out of one of the hatchways as soon as he caught sight of Freeze down below. He landed on the floor and pulled out a batarang, nodding at Batgirl before turning back to Freeze.
"Stop, Freeze."

A deep and familar voice now surrounded the building. "You finally showed up, Batman. Your efforts have been in vain" The fire was burning at a ferocious speed. " I'm not going back to Arkham, not today". Freeze aimed his gun at the ceiling of the building, the smoke from the fire everywhere, the room was getting hot, too hot for ice, as he could see the ice was melting. Pulling the trigger the beam of blue and white energy struck the ceiling turning it into a muiral of ice. The celing then snapped from the weight of the ice and from the gorging fire that spread through the building, Freeze ourmanuevered out of the way of the building, and ran as fast as he could. The truck was down ten levels. So to the stairs he would go.
Freeze knew Batman and batgirl would be after him and try to ambush him. Not today. Even if he did get to the van in time they would still be followed. Rushing down he stairs at fast speeds, freeze would aim his gun and pull the trigger at obstacles in his way. Then smashing them and running. The penguin and riddler were right about batgirl. She was naive but she was well trained, not enough to face Freeze. He wasn't a coward. Freeze was at the fifth level, and noticed some guards that his men hadn't killed already. "Hey, mister, this is Wayne properties I'm going to have to ask you to leave" said the foolish blond guard who had no idea who he was dealing with. Replying back in a cool and daring voice, "Wayne said to take a chill pill" Freeze fired his gun which froze the man in a block of ice, the guard stood there eyes open in shock. The other guard used his club on Freeze hitting him in the back. The suit took the blow and it felt no more than a scratch. Turning to the guard freeze kicked him in his leg than picked him up by his collar, the man was a few feet off the ground. Freeze then thew him into a wall and punched him. The guard was out cold.
Suddenly, the fire systems came on. and the fire was soon put out. " No matter, phase two will be put in place" said Freeze outloud. While the water cooled. Freeze was on the level that had the water system. Opening the hatch, Freeze re applied the electrical systems. Typing on the keyboard freeze lowered the temperatures to sub zero. After pressing enter, the keyboard dissapeared and the air conditioning and temperature controls turned on. Withing a few minutes the whole building was covered in snow and ice. All the electronics were frozen. Freeze then continued down the stairs.

[/b] Babs informed him, and without another word she turned away. As she headed down the corridor, the sprinkler system turned on, extinguishing the majority of the fire. Freeze couldn't leave anyway, unless he got a new van and transferred the equipment, but the police would be outside waiting for them anyway, his men had probably already been arrested, they weren't an issue. Babs hurried down the corridor and kicked one of the doors in, heading into the security office as the building began to grow increasingly cold. Despite the alarms, it appeared there were security heading down to the first floor, and more on the second. Babs was blinded by anger for a second, wanting to turn around and take Freeze on. She knew better though, she had to get those men out of the building. Babs turned to the computers - the Wayne Enterprises system ran very much like the Batcomputer, which wasn't that surprising, and Babs counted herself as an expert with that. She had overrided the system in no time, and the central heating system was cooling the ice and snow away as Babs tapped wildly into the system. She glanced up at the CCTV, seeing one of the guards had been frozen and the other knocked out. Satisfied with her work in melting the ice, Babs turned to head up to the second floor and evacuate who was left in the building, knowing Batman would take on Freeze. As soon as she cleared the building, she'd be back working with him to stop Freeze in whatever he was doing. Babs couldn't quite grasp it - Freeze wasn't like the Joker, he didn't do things for no reason, he didn't do them for the sake of chaos. His attacks were usually so pre-meditated... What he was doing now appeared to Babs irrelevant to his cause.[/ul]

Dick had heard Babs over his comm-link. He could tell by her voice that it must be something a little more distressing more than usually. He didn't answer back right away as he raced down the streets of Gotham on his motorcycle. He was more focused on trying to find her location as his computer systems searched for her comm-links signal. Dick wasn't about to assure her that he would get there in time is something was going down. He felt bad for not answering back, but didn't want to get her hopes up.
As his computer picked up her location. It came up on the map that she was at a Wayne Enterprise building. Dick was a bit puzzled. It had been a long time since anyone tried anything against the Wayne Enterprise. Thought it was usually something personal against Bruce and his company, more than just a random attack. Either way, if someone was attack Wayne Enterprise, Dick wasn't about to sit back and let these people do so.
Before Dick had the chance to reply to her call, he could hear Bruce's voice on another line. Dick was a bit annoyed that Bruce had picked up on as well. Though, he would probably get there before he did. It was probably best for Babs to have someone closer to her help her out right away. Even if Bruce and him weren't really on good term, Dick wasn't about to let the company go down in any way. And he was most certainly not going to let Babs get hurt in any way if there was a threat posed against her.
As soon as he got the chance, Dick did a u-turn in he middle of the road quickly to turn back and head toward Wayne Enterprise. He raced through the city to get there, taking every alley way and short cut he could to get there faster. It didn't take only and as soon as he got there, he jumped off his bike and had the auto lock system on it. He raced toward the building. It didn't take long for him to get access to the entrance.
As soon as he stepped in, the building felt like a freezer. That wasn't Freeze's system, Dick could tell that was the air conditioning. As soon as he went down in the direction toward the temperature control systems, the floor was becoming slippery with ice and there was actually show. That was crazy, and that was Freeze.
The one down fall to Freeze trying to get around the building now was that Dick could see his footprints in the icy surrounding. Dick could see he had taken the stairs. "On his tail, Batgirl," Dick spoke into the comm-link. He knew it was a bit of a surprise for her to probably hear that he had made it there. He had an idea of where he might be headed. Freeze was heading down stair this time. Dick knew a faster way down than the way Freeze had taken. Dick ran over to the elevator and pried open the doors and grabbed onto the cables. Luckily the elevator was up. This gave him the chance to slide down a floor or so and try and head off Freeze. He slid down on the cable and jumped onto one of the ledges to pry the door open. As he got in, he could see the glow of Freeze's suit coming.
Dick ran across the icy floor, trying to watch his step a bit to try and head off Freeze. "You sure know how to leave a calling card," Nightwing spoke up as soon as Freeze came into view.
(ooc: I can change this entrance if need be. Hope you don't mind me dropping by.)

The air turned off, a sign that someone had overrided the new system. Freeze ran the escape routes in his head, they were all dissappearing, just as he was coming down the stairs he heard gunshots and fire from the window. His men were engaging the police who were probably out gunning them. Freeze had no intention to lose this battle, hell the war. Whether he had to kill the police force or not, time was running out.
As Freeze walked down the last ramp to the first level, a voice that was gritty and defiant soared through the air, "You sure know how to leave a calling card," said the boy in blue and black suit. "You really don't mind your bussiness do you" replied Freeze. Not many heroes had defeated him, and he wasn't going to let this loser attack and stop his plans. " Your my next present, tell batman that he couldn't protect you, nor anyone else" aiming his gun at Nightwing, Freeze pulled the trigger, the blue beam went straight for Nightwing, freezing his arms and his legs (OOC: I am not trying to powergame you).
A few bullets from a machine gun outside pierced the wall and graze his leg, falling to the ground, the morbidness of pain. A stinging sensation. Freeze looked through the holes and found that his henchmen were dying off, luckily they had left the car with the equipment and papers, and had diverted the polices attention. There wasn't much time and his henchmen were only getting in his way, the van was ready.
Freeze froze the door with his gun as it shattered into pieces. He limped away, dodging gunfire and firing his gun at the police cars seeing them explode from the frost and the officers frozen inside of them. Freeze tripped over some rubble and gets up but in more pain. Quickly getting into the car, he looks for the keys but can't find them. "Damn this vehicle" looking back in the mirror, he knew he could move the equipment to the S.W.A.T. Van. Quickly Getting out of the car,
Freeze grabs the equipment and heads to the S.W.A.T. van whose individuals were chasing his men, who were nos broken. After loading up the equipment, Freeze getting in the drivers seat notices that Billy had delivered the bag with the files and the other equipment to the van. Checking his com-link, he knew that Billy and his other top men were still alive and had probably gotten a cab back to base. So Freeze put down his transmitter, the police were now entering the building, the visors were down in the van so no sniper could shoot the occupants, and now no one could kill Freeze.

Before Dick even got the chance to fight, he saw Freeze pull out his gun. Dick tried to avoid the shot, but wasn't quick enough. His arms and legs became frozen. The weight of the ice immediately caused Dick to fall backward with the added force from the blast. He could heard guns going off and stayed down for a moment as the bullets flew by.
Once it had ended, he saw a wounded Freeze limping for the door to get out of there. Dick tried to prop himself up on his elbow as he now lay flat on his back. He couldn't move his lower legs. The ice to heavy to try and lift, same when for his lower arms.
His Nightwing suit was designed to help against some cool temperatures, but this was ridiculous. He had solid blocks of ice on both arms and legs. He struggled against it for a while. Though he was starting to lose feeling in his fingers and toes at this point.
Great, he just got there and now he was down for the count. Dick was frustrated with himself for letting his guard down for one moment. Which cost him enough time for Freeze to react to him and hit him with the ice gun he had. At least he wasn't in a solid block of ice. But it was just as embarrassing to be pinned to the floor by ice holding down his arms and legs.
Dick hated to call it in, but it was best to let them know what was going down. "Kind of in a jamb, but Freeze is trying to get away. He's a bit wounded, but it doesn't seem to be slowing him down," Dick called in over the comm-link. He just wished he could do something about the blocks of ice holding him down. He wondered just how long it would take for frost bite to set in. Dick continued to struggle against it, though it was doing little good.

Jim always hung back in these situations. He'd of course come to the scene with the others and by the time of his arrival, he already knew who he was dealing with. Now it was just a waiting game. He watched the building front, the action taking place between the police and Freeze's men, but his attention was really on the ice master himself.
Commissioner Gordon tightened his fists around the steering wheel at the site of Freeze commandeering the SWAT van. He thought he'd get away so easy? Victor had better think again. James watched the vehicle; let Freeze make the first move and then he'd react. He was stilling himself for a chase, however. He just knew that would be what would happen.
