Hearing the escaped chuckle from Victor, Kory lightly, but friendly smiled in response. He had vast changed from the stranger calling her from the side of the ice rink and someone more familiar. As Kory's eyes remarked the ways he was nervous and very much reserved. He had all the makings of the sweet man. Kory's own cheeks caught a hint of a colour at his words. He was polite as well. She grinned a little a more vividly noting that way he had worked himself up just enough to have said that.
"Thank-you, Victor your still very sweet. I wouldn't be surprised if you have all the beautiful ladies in Gotham, swirling around you. Has any taken your fancy?"
Kory spoke happily with her bubbly nature, as she fiddled with the box in her hands. Her green eyes flashed over his as Kory asked about the women in Gotham. Knowing he was already the nervous type, but he was after all very charming. Hands coiled a little at her hair brushing it behind her ear. Feeling the smile big, but somehow couldn't get big enough at Victor's words about the titans. There just was no room for, No. They were her family, still are. Her eyes steadied on Victor as he spoke of his desire. Kory didn't know his fighting skill, but she was sure if he wanted to be a Titan. He could.
"Of course, they're family. We went through a lot together... I'm sure you'd make a great titan, you have my blessing if you ever try out for it"
There was no real change in her tone, other than her normal bubbly self. Only those apart of Titans, truly know what it is like and maybe that could be Victor one day. Though she already knew he was already special. Putting the box down on the table before her as Kory got more comfortable in the seating. Letting a silent little laugh as Victor fretted over the secrets. Kory expressed with her hands that it was fine.
"It's really ok, Victor. On Tamaran we believed in honesty, so I'm not the secretive type. I have had to upon request from others, to keep somethings secret. "
It was just another one of those things Kory didn't see much of until coming to Earth. The only such on Tamaran was probably her sister. She held secrets that broken Tamaran down, as well as Kory herself. Kory was remarked to see though as nervous as Victor was, he was revealing. Open. She knew the secret of Wulfen. Lupin. What else was he hiding? Then Kory was in means to push him or rush him. Just then came his grin, enough to warm any woman's heart and possibly this room. That had just seen the feast of pies. There was still that scent in the air that even Kory could smell easy enough. She listened in as he quoted the phase. Smiling softly.
"I'll have to make a point in seeing it sometime. It defiantly sounds exciting. Maybe you can help me track it down... When your free to do so, of course."
It was one of those have to see to really get, Kory was feeling, but Victor did make it sound entertaining. In which as Kory suggested he if he could help her, as he probably find it better than she did. Adding a extra grin at her last words. Almost amusingly, as it be adding to the list of other thing he was helping her with. Maybe just make a day out of it all. Well, that's of nose testing for him could be all in a day. Turning her head slightly for a better look, maybe. Smiling brighter. Before realising it seemed even more quiet. Curious. As if it could be any more. As her eyes wheeled over to Victor. In his stares. Lingering. The way his cheeks flushed. The checking of his own collar. As his eyes had skimmed her body. It defiantly made one feel good on occasion. To simply be noticed. Harmlessly of course. As she smiled at him sweetly. Watched as his eyes moved until finally reaching her eyes. Her hand brushed her lips as softly breathed a sweet laugh. As if stuck, but eventually his limbs moved. His mind had woken and soon moved to sit on the couch. Still so silent. Yet no pin drop. Her hands moved over to the box. Taking the board game out. Starting to set it up on the table. If Kory could recall how? Barely catching the move of his arm. Was that the movie move? Kory toyed at. Though he was still close to her on the couch. Kory was just happy at this point he was still breathing. Laughing inside, she'd try to not make it so difficult for him. Kory smiled sweetly at his words. This shouldn't kill him. Although considering how the last clue game ended up with the Titans, she'd take that back a little. At his other words. Kory softly laughed and shook her head.
"It will be fun. No. Nothing out loud. Just more your body language, which I found rather cute. It's fine Victor, I have an open mind. I am tamaranean... Now let's start."

Victor wasn't feeling sweet at the moment. At the moment he felt more like a timid bundle of nerves When he saw Kory's light smile he felt his face grow warmer then he thought possible. He shyly smiled when she said that he would have all the women in Gotham after him. he felt the urge to laugh come on when he thought he saw her cheeks flush. But that feeling left the instant she asked if there was a woman that he had feelings for.
He felt his voice catch up in his throat as he tried to answer that question. His eyes widened slightly and he started to nod awkwardly. "Well......... Yeah...... There is kinda." He said just as awkwardly as his nodding was.
'You have to tell her now!' Lupin said triumphantly.
In stead of responding to Lupin Victor simply thought over and over. please don't ask who.
Victor chuckled when Kory commented on him as a Titan. He shook his head slightly and put a hand on his chest. "No not me I'm no titan." He commented. "Don't get me wrong I would love to join a 'pack' as Lupin calls it. But I'm not sure if I would fit in with a group called 'Titans'" Even as he said this he had a small grin on his face.
He felt somewhat fuzzy inside at hearing the bubbly tone of her voice. It was clear to him that he was truly in love. Well now that he knew that much. He just had the trouble of getting his bravery together so he could admit it...... Too anyone other then Lupin.... And even then he didn't tell Lupin. Lupin found out along side him.
At the comment about secrets he couldn't help but thinking about how Earth could be better off with people more like her as leaders on Earth. But he didn't bring that up. In stead he said.
"Well I'm not sure if I'm the secretive type" He said cheerfully. "Sure I have secrets, but I don't think I keep secrets from everyone." He said.
He nodded at hearing her say that he would have to help her track it down sometime. "Sure I guess I will.... If you want too." Outwardly it appeared as though he was simply trying to show something to a new friend. In reality he saw it as an excuse to see Kory again in the future.
Now that he was sitting next to her on the couch he felt strange. It wasn't the same way as before. It wasn't another out of body experience. Now it was..... Now he felt like HE was the alien in a strange new world. And that Kory was the native.... He also had the feeling that he was going to have a hard time finding his way around in this new world.
He looked at Kory again and gave a smile... It was all he could really manage at the moment... Until he looked at the game of Clue. Now he found something that was familiar to him. In a way it was something that he could anchor himself down now that e knew his life had changed.
"Ok I thought I had said something." He said when hearing that she could read his body language well. He felt himself blush when he heard her say that she thought it was cute. He thought it was rather amusing that he now knew exactly what it felt like to blush.
He leaned over to board game and helped Kory set it up. "I'll warn you that I'm pretty good at this game." He said Then he smiled and gave a slight laugh. "I'm also notorious for blurting out the first name I see sometimes just too see what happens." Then he looked at her and raised his eyebrows cheerfully. "I was actually right one time." He then looked into her eyes again. And at that point he felt a surge of nervousness flow though him. He was still embarrassed about almost putting his arm around her shoulder. Even if he didn't know why.

Catching shy smile, Kory found it cute and sweet. He had all the deeming features of a kind man. A Gentleman. Fiddling at the board game to set it up. Her eyes took between places. In a very comfortable way. In a much more comfortable way than Victor was, apparently. As his throat was caught and not to mention the way his eyes moved unsettling for a moment. With the widening of his eyes and his words. Kory could sense it was more than kinda. Who, she did not know. If possible who ever she was had him even more weakened if it was possible. She smiled a little broadly, noting his awkward behaviour.
"She must be some woman…"
Kory simply remarked happily. To have him undone like this at the mere thought of this woman. That's if she was a woman. Human! It wasn't hard to guess she didn't know, if he was this tongued tied. Or maybe she did, reading the signs. It was very cute. Couldn't help think she might be a very lucky woman and she might not even know it… Kory half turned her head. At his reaction to possibly being a titan. Her green eyes ran over him. Couldn't fit in?
"You haven't seen many titans, have you? Besides, Titans was never about fitting in. No family is perfect"
As Kory knew all quite well. A boy made of green. A half robotic man. A woman that some say meditates to often. Not mention a certain orange skinned alien. As Kory smiled sweetly as she asked. Kory could hardly recall where she had been more accepted. Maybe it was just something you are. Though looking at Victor, he was maybe someone that wanted that alone journey. At least for now, but Kory had to be a little concerned it might lead to loneliness. Dick would go off on his own here and there. But there was always a return. She couldn't help wonder if he would return again, but things were a lot different now. Kory was just happy to be back in the world and be where ever he was. Especially now after all that had happened and was happening. Something told her he needed her and not just from Donna's words. Kory lifted her gaze more directly as Victor spoke he did not know if he was secretive. Kory smiled sweetly as if he was trying to impress her, but simply being himself was what would impress her.
"Just as long as you're honest to yourself."
It seemed the best thing to say, even though it was simple and possibly confuse him more. They were from different worlds. Being honest to ones self seemed the most important. As whether his hand laid, Kory gently caressed with a possible friendly touch. Smiling softly. Victor just needed to keep being himself. She liked him so far. Kory beamed a little to hear he would help her. He was already helpful, so she would look forward to it. It was nice to have another friend in Gotham as facing it now, she didn't know many here and it was on the fence if Bruce was ever a friend.
Kory gently shook her head with a smile at his words, confirming he had not said anything. Well, nothing out loud, but the way he acted was loud enough. So it wasn't really hard to see and nor had Kory minded. She could feel Victor was more stiffen and uncomfortable. His cheeks ran unknowing colours and his breath drew more heavily. As Kory pulled out the game and began setting it up, was when he began to settle down. Almost hearing his held breath escape and the couch sink just enough. Even smiled and laughed. Kory was happy to see him well, happy. Back in the room at least, Kory smiled at his words.
"And I'll warn you I've not played it in awhile, but we'll see if the winning comes back to me."
Kory grinned playfully, now that was sarcasm. Although Kory was competitive. So that wasn't a lie. As Kory finished putting the board game out. Ready to play, which was the point really in the end, she thought. Spending time to bond a little more with this new friend Victor. Who was not as strange as he might feel. There had been several minutes gone passed and perhaps even an hour. Maybe more. Since they had set out from the park, to her place and there was still pies here and there. Though between the game Kory had put some pies in the fridge. Some for Victor to take as she couldn't eat the rest on her own. Well, she did know a certain someone to share with. Though as the light was near fading, the sharing might have to be later. The game was winding down and Kory wasn't liking her chances. Not having anything to do with her saying bingo, in random places or uno. Before being reminded they weren't game words, they were the games. At this point she didn't know did it. Did Victor as her eyes flashed to him? He after all looked like a man with a secret. Kory silently joked.

When Kory commented about this woman being quite a woman he felt shyness well up inside him. He didn't know that it was possible to feel this shy. Then he thought about what she said and nodded. "Yeah... she is..... She's beautiful, amazing, fun, funny, sweet, kind." Then he stopped suddenly and blinked shaking his head slightly. Sorry. What was I saying?"
In his mind he heard Lupin laughing. As he heard Lupn laughing he grinned. "Really what did I say?" He asked both Kory and Lupin.
When she talked about the Titans he smiled and pretended to start counting off on his fingers. "Well there's you and then there's, you, then there's you." then he stopped with a grin. Your right I haven't met many." He finished kindly with a smile.
He looked her in the eyes as she talked. She really was beautiful, the sound of her voice was also beautiful. And when he truly thought about it she was a very very kind and gentle woman.
"Being honest with myself is actually kinda hard with certain topics. For example Lupin was hard to get used to at first." He said
'As well as completely admitting your feelings for her.' Lupin commented.
When he felt her hand brush his he felt a lump in his throat. 'I think this game of Clue is gonna be hard for me.' He mentally commented.
As they played the game Victor found it hard not to smile at times. This game of Clue had to have been the best game of Clue he had ever played. It might have had something to do with the fact that he had strong feelings for the woman he was playing it with. He smiled and laughed everytime he Kory shouted bingo or uno. He would kindly tell her that it was the wrong game. "But worth the effort." He would always add with a laugh. He enjoyed the game whether or not he won or lost. Not only was he playing a classic game. But he was with the most remarkable woman he had ever met. There were countless times he had been more interested in her then he was in the game. He would simply watch her and find himself completely lost n her eyes. How was he going to make himself realize how he felt? The emotional part of him knew. The logical part of his refused to admit it. Which wasn't all that rare for him.

Just sitting there in amongst her apartment, her eyes joyfully watched how this woman had truly effected Victor. As suddenly he seemed to get even more shy. Reserved. The emotions inside him all flared at once as he struggled to understand them. It was quite beautiful see. Even more so feel. Why humans were such afraid of their emotions was quite a mystery to Kory sometimes. Just knowing there was nothing quite like that feeling. Perhaps it was that thing if your not familiar with it, how does one know? Her orange fingers putting the pieces out, randomly of course. Most likely putting it together backwards. It had been a long time. Kory's lips smiled as suddenly for a moment without Victor's control his mouth slipped it for him. Just some of what he was feeling. It was rather cute to see. To watch as suddenly he stopped. His emotions were like crossroads. Kory lightly shook her head in amusement to his next words of not knowing. Kory could tell this didn't happen often. She wasn't sure if she wanted to tell him it would only intensify, but perhaps let him take step by step. This was his discovery of love.
"No need to apologise. You were describing quite woman, if I were this woman, I'd be quite flattered… When you feel the time is right, you should defiantly tell her…"
Kory sweetly smiled to Victor, she didn't mind in the slightest to hear it. Watching him blink, regaining his thoughts. Who ever the woman was, Kory was sure she too enjoy hearing that. Just simply to hear the joy in his voice, there was defiantly a spark he was feeling. As she encouraged him to tell this woman. Of course when he was ready, he didn't seemed so used to this and usually just following your instinct worked the best. Least that was generally the way Kory acted upon things. Even if it didn't workout as Victor had hoped, least he wouldn't regret not doing it and wonder what could have been. Kory almost playfully rolled her eyes, smiling as she watched him count his fingers. Pointing out that yes, she was the only titan he knew… Unless he had come across Nightwing, then he might know two and didn't even know it. Not only a titan, but the leader or former leader.
"If you do ever come across another Titan, just let them know your a friend of mine… The thing that separates The Titans from any other groups, is that it never ends. Once a titan, always a titan."
Kory kindly offered as there was ever the chance that he might just run into another. They were so close to New York, so it was defiantly possible. Some rare occasions Donna may come and visit. The reminded her to call her later, it had been sometime. As many titans grew up and got busy, but when you were in need Titans were always there for each other. Kory smiled as she spoke of them to Victor. There was just that knowing when they grouped together, they could never lose, not when they had each other. It really was a family.
"There is no wrong way to go about it, just so long as you don't give up trying."
Kory admired his honesty that found it hard, she smiled because that was just proving it for him. It wasn't always about knowing. A life was always about learning and growing, but so long as once tried. Kory didn't have the giving up attitude in her heart. She had faced death's door and she not only shut it, she locked it. She had the power to choose her fate and she chose to live. Everyone did it differently, everyone was different. As she smiled to Victor. He had nothing to fear, only himself. Happily her fingers had sure brushed him. Part sure was enjoying his reactions. His friendly nature. Kory knew he had a pure heart.
Soon the mystery was beginning. The basic questions was Who did it? What's that? Oh My X'hal I did not see that coming? That had been Kory's mental note when Victor had half trumped her with a clue she had been quite sure on. He was defiantly good at this game. When something exciting happened Kory, yes had yelled Bingo. Or if she was close to winning, she said Uno. Only to find she was quite off the ball, but she laughed it helped her enjoy the game. Even when Victor pointed out those were different games, didn't wreck her mood. When Uno and Bingo were removed. She found her self saying 'SNAP' and playfully slapped Victor's hand at one of his moves. Of course not hard, but she knew with her being slightly confused it was maybe throwing him off. At least distracting him as she lid in and made a cool smooth move. Half making low cheering noises. Kory might not win, but she sure was having fun trying. In a healthy way of course. Kory's eyes flashed up as Victor spoke about effort.
"What's worth the effort? Did I miss something?"
Kory asked curious to what he had meant, her eyes then half raced around the board. Perhaps he was meaning something about the game Kory had missed. Was he trying to throw her off himself, she playfully eyes him. The other part was the fact he had laughed, Kory was failing to see what was funny. She had defiantly missed something, but she wasn't overly bothered by it as she was distracted by the game.
Soon the game had passed a milestone. It had flown by in some time. The light outside the window glowed a deep orange. Much like her skin. The sun was beginning to set. The night was coming as soon the game was now coming closer to an end. There had been the fond talking. The friendship only getting brighter over a healthy game of Clue. Kory noticed how the sky faded. Starfire was needed upon those streets tonight or most of the time above keeping a close eye. There was the every chance she would cross paths with Nightwing. The game was inches, now was the finale.
"So close now, Victor. We might need to call it a draw. Gotham needs its heroes tonight and the day is fading fast."
Kory wasn't sure if this was a point of winning now. Smiling up to him as she spoke. She wasn't the only one that Gotham needed. There was another hero in the room. There was the moon coming out and it needed the wolf's howl. Who knows, maybe Starfire might cross his paths tonight. She would keep her promise to take him flying one day.

When Kory commented that he should tell this woman how he felt about her Lupin chimed in almost instantly. 'Yes you should tell her. And by tell her I mean tell her right now! Your sitting across from her!'
But Lupin might as well been talking to a wall. Victor wasn't listening to him at the moment. He was lost in Kory's voice and her eyes. He didn't know why he was feeling this way...... No actually he did know..... He just didn't want it to be true..... Yet at the same time he wanted it to be true. It was a wonder that Lupin hadn't been caught up in the mental maelstrom that was Victor's mind at the moment.
He snapped out of his mental tug of war when he heard her talking about the Titans again. She really must like the Titans..... Maybe... Maybe he should try to join them and that might help him get that much closer to her? It was too late now. The idea was already in his head. "I'll keep that in mind if I ever meet one." He said. "It would be nice to be part of a group. Maybe people won't panic as much when they see me." He jokingly commented trying to imagine what the general reaction would be to a werewolf in a group of heroes. It just didn't seem like a normal thing. After all most people see werewolves as blood thirsty killers. Where Victor clearly wasn't.
Victor felt a slight feeling of being small when Kory told him that there was no wrong way. He didn't see himself coming to terms with his tornado of emotion anytime soon. And Lupin constantly telling him to confess didn't help him at all. It was strange..... He had a mental wolf telling him that it was time. Then he had his instinctive side telling him to try and get away. There just didn't seem to be an end to what was going through his head. He wasn't sure how much longer this inner conflict would rage on within him before it began to take its toll on him.
But it subsided during the game of Clue. Victor always had fun playing it. And it was always more fun for him then for other humans do to the fact that he was playing with Lupin in his head always trying to guess at who it was. And the fact that he was now playing it with someone from another world made it that much more fun. There were quite a few times Victor was positive he was on to something before Kory proved him wrong. Many times he had to push his glasses up on his nose because of the fact he kept trying to secretively look at his clues. And more often then not he simply blurted out the first thing that came to mind. Sometimes he said the same thing three times in a row. Other times he blurted out something completely unrelated. One point he started using references from Scooby Doo. He knew it was was off but he was having too much fun not to at this point. He also found it hard not to laugh at Kory's cheering sounds.
When she asked about what he meant by 'effort' he grinned. "Shouting Uno. It was worth the effort." He explained with a wide grin. Then something clicked in his mind. He solved it! Then when he looked to Kory getting ready to pull out his Sherlock Holmes imitation that he had been using on and off through out the game he saw her eyes and instantly forgot what it was he had found out. Victor hadn't even realized how late it was until Kory pointed it out. He looked out the window and made a low chuckle. "Amazing how times flies." He commented then looked at Kory. He almost asked if he could stay with her for the night. But didn't. Instead he gave a slight smile and pointed at the game. "Shall I help you clean this up? Oh and would you like me to take some of the pies?" He asked. In his mind this time could have gone on for ever.... Part of him honestly hoped it would. But he knew it wouldn't. Things like that just didn't happen. He then remembered that he was planning on going out a Wulfen that night. After all he did need to get some more experience somehow. Though he knew that he wasn't going to be doing anything highly complex...... Not with him thinking about Kory all night. Which he knew he would be doing.

No there wasn't a great deal of ways for Kory knowing she was this woman. She could tell he liked her, but for herself she saw a friendship. It had just began and it had started off really well. Not that Kory was surprised. Victor was really sweet. Smiling softly as he did not respond in words, but he didn't have to so much. Kory watched his nervous state. So Kory knew he had taken her words in. Although she wouldn't mind knowing which of her words made him think so hard. Softly laughing. Perhaps Lupin was talking with him. From what Kory could feel he had quite an opinion. Maybe even a hold over Victor. Just not too sure how much he had, but it did seem like a good duo.
Kory was happy to talk about The Titans. Who they exactly were well that would remain a secret as it wasn't hers to tell, but she more than just liked the Titans. They were her family. They had gone through so much together. Gone through their teen years, which can be the hardest to go through. It wasn't much of a stretch to see Victor as a Titan if he past the test. Kory smiled friendly at his words.
"You would fit in Victor. Beast boy can turn into any animal including wolves... oh did I mention he's green... Though aren't you technically in part of a group. With Lupin. From what I see you fair very well with others."
Kory happily remarked Victor was already part of a group. There was a defiant bond between them. She wasn't suggesting he needed to go join the Titans. She was merely saying he could if he truly wanted to. Well so long as he passed the test, but Kory was sure he could pass it. Suddenly the time came into a place on the couch. With them head to head in the game of clue. Solving the crime. The Scooby Doo references were throwing her off. In which at a time Kory found herself throwing treats at him. Wondering if he's happier now. Only to find him more excited. Oh and when he laughed at her cheering, Kory only cheered that little bit louder. Before. The big. 'OH' As he responded to her question. Not need to voice it. Kory happily nodded in agreement. It sure was worth it.
Kory smiled softly as they both seemed to have lost their minds along the way. Suddenly the sun was all but gone. It sure had been enjoyable time spend and Kory was defiantly not regretting that trip to the park. It had been quite entertaining. Surprising how it ended up with so many pies at her place, but stranger things has happened. There was that part of her that really wished for Victor to tag along and continue being friendly, but she was meeting a friend. She wasn't very good with this secret thing, but she did keep her words. Just she couldn't just incase this would go against some secret she just wasn't following.
"That can generally happen when your in the company of such a great friend... You'll get use to it, Victor... I'll be fine cleaning up, Victor. Gratitudes for asking. I'm suppose to meet up with someone soon, so I'll clean up when I return... As for the taking of pies. Of course you take some. In fact I insist. You need the practise."
Kory happily pointed out in response to him mentioning the time. Her soft kind voice gave him an encouraging smile. As for the cleaning up. No she wasn't in desperate need, though she very thankful had she the time to accept it. Though she wasn't in such a rush to clean it up. She would make sure to when she returned a bit later. Her eyes brightened at him taking the pies. He defiantly needed to take some. If not all, but he might not be able to carry them all. Kory was hoping to keep one to give to a certain someone. As Kory hopped onto her feet and began gathering up the pies. Putting them in their boxes. Setting some into a bag. Not trying to rush him out, but she needed to be somewhere soon. Kory would defiantly make a point to hook up with Victor another time very soon, for some more friendly fun. Maybe another game. Or maybe a candy hunt. Of course to help the Wulfen with his sense of smell.

When he realized what he had been saying Victor felt a strong urge to tell her that he was talking about her. And when Lupin realized what Victor was feeling he started to encourage him. He almost did. But instead he simply let the thought pass. Which actually took longer then he thought it would. It lingered in his head for quite some time. But eventually it passed.
"I'll take your word on it." He said referring to Kory's comment about being able to fit in with the Titans. Then when she commented on his relationship with Lupin. "I guess your right. I never really thought about it that way." He said.
Then he thought about this Beast Boy she was describing. "I might have to meet this Beast Boy." He said with a smile. He really did sound like an interesting person. Also he probably wouldn't have a panic attack when meeting him. Seeing as he has a wolf living in his head and he was sitting across from an alien princess....... Who had kissed him... He still remembered that it hadn't been a big kiss.... But still........
He pushed the thought from his mind as he got up and then he listened to Kory speak. "Well.... uhh... I guess sense you seem to be in a hurry I'll just head out?" He said awkwardly 'Did I just say that?' He asked Lupin.
'Yes you did.' Was the reply.
He offered an embarrassed smile and took the pies Kory had set aside for him to take then walked over to the door. "It was really great meeting you." He said taking his trench coat and putting it on. Then he stood by the door. "To think this all started with a cup of coco." He said somewhat shyly.
He then stood at the door.... He didn't know what to do. He knew it was time to leave. But he didn't want to just walk out the door. He looked at the camera he had and at the pies he was now holding.... He then looked at Kory over the rims of his glasses. "I guess I'll see you around?" He asked... Then he got a thought. "Who knows? Maybe we'll cross paths on the job?" He said raising his eyebrows in a kind gesture.

With Victor's kind words about Kory being helpful. Kory smiled softly. She was happy to help in any way she could. At least with how she saw things. The relationship with Lupin did seemed to be a very strong one. Admirable. From Victor's own words, Kory was sure he had already knew it to be true. They had quite a team. Smiled brighter as Victor mentioned Garth. She very much agreed. Apart from the attention Garth gave Kory, he was a very sweet boy and a friend she did very much care for. Not to mention very funny. Perhaps it would do Victor good to meet Dick Grayson, maybe Kory could introduce them if they don't happen to bump into each other. At least Victor could have friend in these two titans. Gotham always need extra hands. Kory watched sweetly as Victor got to his feet. Kory was saddened he did have to leave now, but it was hardly forever. Her cheeks warmed watching how shy he was in simply telling her goodbye. Before long Victor had taken the pies from her grasp and Kory followed him to the door. Her laughter came sweetly to the him mentioning the Cocoa. She couldn't agree more.
"One can never predict a friendship... We will meet again. You'll more than see me around, I'll call you tomorrow and you can take me to the movies if you'd like to. Maybe practise with some popcorn and some candy... Well, if I see a Wulfen, I will sure let you know if I do... Have a good night Victor."
Kory kindly responded to the cocoa, Kory was just glad it happened. She was regarding him very friendly. Not trying to rush him out. As Victor rambled on and on. Kory could tell he wanted to hang out more. This friendship thing was seemingly new to him. Kory was assuring him it wouldn't be the end. she would call him up tomorrow and plan a day at the movies. Was the first thing that came. There was all the food there they could practise his skills with while entertained by a film. She wasn't against running into Wulfen tonight as Victor suggested it. She wasn't sure how to explain it to Nightwing without blowing someones secret and she was looking forward to seeing him tonight. It had been a couple days with little words. He must had avoided her last night, but there were always a place to be in gotham. That needed help. Kory kindly told him goodnight. She knew he was stalling. She sweetly kissed him on the cheek. Kory knew he'd be fine. Waving sweetly and allowing him to take his time to really leave. He could stay here if he wanted. She didn't mind greatly. As she turned. Slipped off her tee as she went to her room. Didn't even bother turning the lights on. She slipped on her Starfire attire for the night. Feeling her mighty strong self. Found her way to her glass doors. Slipped outside in the cool night. Before long all that was left was a fiery contrail leading through Gotham, much like a shooting star of fire.

Victor stood where he was for abit longer. It was all funny. Here he was in his twenties and he was acting like a smitten teenager. He was trying to find every reason he could to stay. But he could find one. So instead he simply smiled shyly. "Ok I'll keep an ear out for you then." He said more just to see if his voice could still work. When she kissed his cheek again he felt himself blush again and he shifted on his feet some then smiled shyly in good bye.
As Kory left into her room he was tempted to go look at see what her room looked like. But instead he looked at the pies in his hand then moved out of the door and into the hall. As he went down the elevator he heard Lupin speak up.
'Why didn't you tell her?' The wolf asked.
'Don't worry there will be plenty of other chances.' He responded. After all there was a chance that Wulfen might meet her later tonight.
When Victor made it outside he found himself looking around trying to find Kory flying through the air. He saw something but he wasn't sure if it was Kory or not. Well now it was time to get back to his home and get ready for his patrol.
