Museum of National History Robbed!
Hundreds of Gotham citizens visit the National History Museum on a daily visit. The exhibit of the wonders of Egypt has captured both young minds and adults and transported them into a time where gods ruled the lands and the Nile was all life source. Most were drawn to the ancient cat artifacts that were found in King Tut’s tomb. Three stoned cats that were embedded with gold trim and rare small blue diamonds. The estimate amount for a single one ranged in the millions. Luckily, the museum was able to snag these artifacts from the Smithsonian and display these masterpieces for the people of Gotham. Unfortunately, it appears that these three pieces have become victim to the Catwoman.
While the Gotham Police Department have yet to release any information on the robbery last night, the Gotham Times, has been able to gather that a person snuck in from the sky line window sneaking pass the alarm by literally cutting through the glass. As all Gotham citizens know, this is the mode of operation for the notorious Gotham Rogue, Catwoman. A woman who strangely dresses in black with a long tail, some have suggested being a whip. Of course, very few have seen her close up so we only have the vague details. She has been the criminal behind many cat burglaries in Gotham north and has hit many museums. It’s quite sad that the misguided woman has decided to take something precious from our community because of her obsession with cats.
I interviewed Arkham psychologist Dr. Jackson for a more detailed description of the woman’s mental health. He stated, “Obviously the woman is projecting child hood issues through her crimes. The only way she could escape through her traumatizing experience was most likely from the comfort of cats. A pet, probably. She has probably buried this problem deep within her super ego causing an unexpected lashing out. She can only coup through these schemes centered around this fetish.” While Dr. Jackson’s theory seems accurate, the Gotham public becomes tired of these masked criminals tearing apart their community all from the lack of proper child rearing. We can hope that the GCPD will catch this woman as well as the other rogues, but they have yet to find any clues since their first introduction with the woman.
I would suggest going to the museums now because in a few more years we may have nothing left.
(OOC: As I said before this is after the scarecrow riddle. I also will be posting a few more articles.)
