- The unconscious body of John crashed into a bar, having been flung there through a portal. Dinah was there and took the lead on checking him over and told everyone she'd drive him to the hospital - but she actually drove him to her place where she and Alison took care of him. Meanwhile, Zahira had been injured by the glass and was taken to the hospital, where she noticed that the picture of her family was missing. She checked back at the bar but had to go home empty-handed. Back at Dinah's place, John regained consciousness and Dinah questioned how he'd ended up in the bar like that. Alison fainted at the sight of his injuries.

- John was headed out to do some work when Alison decided to follow him - curious to see what he did. She started him when he caught her following him, but he let her come with him while he tracked a group of cultists who had been trying to summon demons in an abandoned church.

- Zahira met with John, as he was hoping to convince her that he needed one of the artifacts on exhibit in the Egyptology section of the museum so that he wouldn't have to steal it.

- Dick, Victor, and Kara arrived at the spot where the new Outsiders team was to meet up for the first time, the latter two having been invited by Dick. John showed up uninvited, but then Kory and then Roy arrived and Roy, being the leader of the new team, told John to get lost. The rest went to the bunker that they would be using for their headquarters.

- Robin was on a stakeout to try to catch some smugglers. Black Canary saw him, but couldn't see who he was due to the rain. Falcone arrived, preparing to intervene with the smugglers because the smugglers were working for Maroni and not for him. Falcone meant that Robin was probably in over his head acting alone, but he noticed Black Canary, and John arrived as well as Robin approached her. The three quickly organized a team-up, unnoticed by Falcone though the man felt like he was being watched.
