For once, Dick was grateful to get away from everything and have little to do on his patrol. Usually he was left bored out of his mind waiting for something to happen. But tonight, he was content with the silence of the city, standing on one of the many tall buildings, just listening to the sound of the traffic on the roads below and enjoying the evening sky. It was such a clear night out. The moon was so bright it seemed to brighten the night leaving nothing but shadows along the the areas they were casting.
This was just the kind of break he had needed to have. He needed to stop and really think things out. Not about what he was going to do that night, more of what was going on with him? He had had so many close calls lately, to the point they were making him even uncomfortable in the situations. What was going on? Why was he making all these mistakes? The kind of mistakes he usually didn't make. The only person that could answer those was only himself. He knew the answer, he just did not want to bring it to the surface. It was just confusing, half of him wanted to try and just move on and the other half wanted to get out of this never ending rut and stir things up a bit.
With a night like tonight, Dick was able to finally get a chance and really think through what has really been his true problem. Robin stepped away from the edge of the building and leaned up against a doorway that led to the roof. He stood in the moonlight, his shadow casting along the way of the entrance. Dick knew this was not just any problem, it was an issue. Something he knew he might have to face sooner or later. And after the work with the Titans, those subjects were really coming up and he was really considering the thoughts. But there was just that uncertainty to them at times.
Dick was no longer a kid and with every year, he has started to grow away from the image of Robin. It was a part of him, but the identity was just not fitting any more. Dick knew he was out growing it and had been really thinking about what he was going to do. He did go out on his own a lot, sure he had a few bumps in the road here and there. But most of those mistakes had been formed by his lack of focus of late. Though, he did fear what might happen next if he didn't focus soon. That last close call against the Scarecrow had become a cautionary event that Dick did not want to have a repeat of.
As Robin, Dick knew he was more than capable of holding his own when he was focused. But lately, he really was wondering what he really should do. And he had been leaning more toward stepping out of the shadow of Batman. Yet, this wasn't something that felt like would happen over night. He knew it wouldn't be easy, and be really didn't want to have to face what might have to come against others if he did bring it up. Then again, half of him was waiting for it. Waiting for the chance to speak up.
Leaning quietly against the doorway, he gazed into the space looking out downward toward the city below. His mind concentrated on the issue that he had brought up with himself. Not really sure what all to do. He was half alert to what was going on around him, but stood almost lost in thought.

To say that Selina's recovery from the toxins she'd been subjected to by the Scarecrow was slow would be an understatement. Even though it'd been a few days and the effects were long gone, she was certain that there was more to the drug than just the immediate hallucinations she experienced. There were latent things that she could still feel. Dizziness, extreme headaches, nausea to some extent. Not to mention that she felt like she could see some of the imagery from her hallucinations in some surfaces. Looking at a wall too long it felt like she saw it crumble downward. Staying near any of her precious pets too long and she felt like she could see sickly bald spots form along their backs. Some side effect from the toxin still lingered with her, even if the liquid itself was out of her system.
Of course, that didn't stop the ever industrious Selina Kyle from resuming her bad habits. Even for a completely healthy Catwoman, it wasn't very like her to be on the go for another heist so quickly. Especially not in this area; too likely to be caught. The people here were so paranoid about their possessions that generally the security systems-- while she could find ways around them easily, were a bit too advanced for her minor heist tastes. Her compulsion to steal that night however, was most likely leading her to the Iceberg Lounge, where the patrons would be far too busy to notice her, and the security would be a fun sort of challenge to get around.
Getting to the lounge on foot would be nearly impossible through this part of town. Her previous concern of high security in the wealthy district was one part of it, another being that due to the wealthy population here, there were also a few more cops on patrol than in downtown, which she found to be funny, ironic, and disturbing all at the same time. Her trek, as usual, consisted mostly of slinking through alley ways silently, and then climbing her way to the top of the tall skyscrapers, using the roofs as her own personal road to the lounge.
What she failed to count on that night was that the lingering effects of that toxin would kick in just as she leaped from one building to the other, taking a glance down and suddenly losing a good deal of her grace, a sloppy landing making her having to catch her balance with her hands and having to push herself back up. The dizzy effects were back as well, causing Catwoman to wrap the whip around her waist and bring her hands up to her head to try to steady her vision. She did eventually, but instead of finding something halfway soothing to clear her mind; Robin.
Her expression wrinkled in what could only be described as a quiet 'hiss,' but seeing that she hadn't done anything wrong that night (yet), she didn't have much to be defensive over. Over the course of a few seconds, a grin appeared, and she made her way quietly over to Batman's little sidekick.
"Don't you look all brooding and pensive." She commented with a chuckle, and stood relatively close to him, as if personal bubbles were a completely foreign idea. "Something else you learned from the Bat?"

Dick stayed where he was, not really wanting to come out of his thoughts as well. But now with this new distraction coming his way, he was forced to notice the woman joining him on the roof top. He had been alert enough to know that Catwoman had come into his zone. He would be much of a vigilante if he hadn't. It hadn't been that hard to notice she had come, she seemed semi-tipsy with her landing. He wasn't exactly sure as to the reason, but after the Scarecrow attack it was hard to say what side affects could remain. Dick had had probably had it easier on the side affects, see as he had been given less toxin than Selina had that night. Before she approached, he decided to not take as much notice. Not to mention, he couldn't just go after her any way, he wasn't the police.
Staying were he was, an icy look came to his face. He could see the grin playing on Catwoman's face. He knew he wasn't seen as a threat in the eyes of Catwoman. Robin was just seen as a game and a minor annoyance. Then again, so was Batman as time. Yet, between the fights of Batman and Catwoman, the two seemed to enjoy their encounters. If Catwoman didn't seem to think he hadn't noticed, she was wrong. Robin knew Batman better than she did, and after working with him for so long, it wasn't hard to pick up on how Batman viewed things. He allowed her to come forward, not moving away at first.
"Don't you have better things to do," he replied to her at first. He knew she would be able to tell the hit of annoyance in his tone right away. He hadn't wanted to exactly show that he wasn't in the best of a mood that night, Dick's thoughts had been getting to him and he was just a little edgy now with being slight annoyed at her assuming Batman had taught him everything.
Dick felt like the approach of Catwoman reinforced his theory of him being less of a threat. Like she was talking down at him just to amuse herself that night. Since that encounter with her and the Scarecrow, as Robin, he had only been pushing harder into his own thoughts and driving himself to work harder. Though these thoughts he was having was a fear of his rising more. Dick really wondered if he's behavior was because the toxin had driven him to this point, or he had driven himself.
He shifted his weight so he was not standing. Just in case Catwoman was planning on using him as a scratching post. You could never tell with this woman. "You're being quite bold tonight," Robin commented on her being back on the streets. Robin was just stating he had notice her less than graceful arrival in the first place.

Upon first glance, Selina could tell that something was wrong with the kid. Generally he was the cocky, almost arrogant sort of person, quick to make snappy come backs and even quicker to make the first punch for whatever reason. Tonight however, he looked.. down. Depressed, even if she felt like that was too strong of a word for a person she didn't really care for to begin with. So what, though? Let him be depressed, she figured. Maybe then he wouldn't be as careful as he normally was, even though the last few times she'd encountered him, he was off as well.
"Hmm, no, not really." She commented, remaining standing as Robin sat down. Looking down at him, she smirked and tilted her head to one side. "Who's got your tights in a twist?" She asked through her smirk, and sat down next to him as well, obviously not deterred by any of his rude or distrustful mannerisms. Her being Catwoman and him being Robin, it was sort of par for the course.
Following suit, Catwoman looked back down to the street and nodded slowly, taking in a deep breath and exhaling tiredly. Or, what could be mistaken as tiredly. Probably more or less just boredly. "What can I say, I was getting bored with the typical spots." Selina then glanced back up at Robin, and narrowed her eyes. "Shouldn't you be in a more.. I don't know.. dangerous area? I think this side of town is pretty well protected."
Thinking it over for a moment, Catwoman chuckled to herself, and put her hand on his shoulder, her claws pointing and just barely scraping his neck as if she was just teasing him for some reason. "Maybe that's why you're here.. hm? Bored of your typical patrol, ready to take on a new area without his help.. not that you really need him, anyway. Good move, I'd say."
By now, Catwoman had lost most of the grit to her voice, her words almost sounding like they were purred instead of spoken. She wasn't going to attack him without a real reason to; not yet, anyway. In fact, she actually did seem quite supportive of him being out here without Batman. Albeit that was probably just because it meant she wouldn't be caught as easy.

Dick ignored her first question, she was just trying to agitate him with that comment. He knew well enough, that's what she always did. Not giving her the satisfaction of commenting back, was a bit off for him as well. If he were in a better mood, he would have had a smart comeback to it. But not this time, she was hitting the obvious of fact of his lack of motivation that night. As she sat beside him, he did not look over her way at first.
At her tone that he should be somewhere else in the town, Dick looked over at her. He wasn't all that surprised by the question. Besides, he could ask her the same thing with having an eye challenge of going against police in this part of town. The police were almost nothing compared to the vigilantes in this town. Then Catwoman chuckled about something or another and Robin shot her a questioning look. He knew she probably found this whole situation comical, with seeing the 'bird boy' as she would say, down in the dumps.
When Catwoman's hand was placed on Dick's shoulder, he tensed up a bit. He could feel her letting her claws play against the skin on his neck. He resisted the urge to jump back and away from her. But Dick knew she wouldn't kill him then, what reason would she have to, unless she really wanted to get on Batman's bad side. She just seemed to be playing with the thought of scratching him. With how close she was, it wasn't a good idea to move. Then again, it's Dick's fault for putting himself in such a vulnerable position. He seemed to be getting into a lot of these situations lately.
Then to his surprise, for once, Catwoman was making perfect sense. She had hit the note that had been playing silently in Dick's mind all this time, She was the first to say anything like that to him. Not even with Babs, had Dick fully explained things. It was just his nature to got get so involved with feelings. His silent moods and going of on his own was more his style.
He was less tense now, with his thoughts on Catwoman's comment. The look in his eyes showed that she had struck the right chord. Her comment was giving him the push he had needed to hear, even if it wasn't from someone who was closer to him. And in this case, being it was Catwoman, getting close to him was like oil and water. But tonight there was something different about her as well. What was she getting, could this be her way of just playing with his mind and getting what she wanted?
"You're probably just saying that to get rid of me, aren't you," he said, he couldn't just trust her right like that. Though she seemed to be the only one making sense of everything he had been going though. Boy, if she had also noticed how off he had been, then he must not be himself. The only right decision he had made lately had been moving forward with Babs.
He glanced away again, just wondering about this though. For once, something was settling within him. What she had said, seemed like the solution to all his present problems. To get away from who he was now and become someone else. Dick had been in the shadow of the Bat for so long. In the past it had felt normal, but now it just felt off. And when ever he was out on his own, things seemed to put him mind at ease. No one watching over him. Even though Batman had not been getting involved as much, he had a feeling he knew what Bruce was thinking through all these dumb and careless mistakes he had made recently. Dick wasn't some dumb kid. And it almost let to him that Robin just reinforced that identity of him. He was nothing more than a partner and was never seen as a threat going out on his own. Everyone always expected the Batman to be following behind. And when he took them on, Dick got angered with the lack of respect he was getting in response to him fighting on his own. Was Robin only a joke to people when he was without the Batman?
Looking at Catwoman again, he had a feeling he knew what it was like just being on your own. Catwoman was a free spirit. She didn't let anything hold her back. She didn't work with others unless she wanted to. "I know I can hold my own without the Bat," Dick said, his tone showing a bit of distaste toward the matter.

The way Robin tensed up with her claws near his neck again made Selina grin widely, and she chuckled quietly before resting her arm on his shoulder and her chin on her forearm, looking up at him after making herself comfortable. There was no respect for personal space with her. Besides, she was in game-mode now. Robin was upset, and she could make him feel better. Kind of.
"Aw, why would I want to get rid of you?" She asked, that same purr in her voice as before. "You look like you could use the company anyway. What's the matter? Did the big bad Bat say something he shouldn't have?" Taking one of her hands off of his shoulder, she reached up and played with a little tuft of his hair. "You can tell me all about it."
Really, Catwoman would be a good one to provide advice for the motivationally lacking Robin. He longed for independance and when it came to that particular state of being, she knew all about it.
With a light sigh, Selina moved away from Robin, respecting his personal space again as she leaned backward, glancing up at the sky and taking her goggles off of her eyes. She didn't need them now, and they could be pretty irritating after a moment. She wasn't worried about her identity being revealed. That fiasco with Scarecrow at her apartment gave everything away to him, to Batman, and to Scarecrow, she was certain. There were just too many identifying factors. The cats, 63, the stolen artifacts.. yet, it didn't seem to bother her all that much.
"I know how you feel, you know." She said, and looked back over at him. "You don't want to be Batman's errand boy forever, do you? Look at you, you're already grown up." She grinned, and nodded, looking back up at the sky instead.
"You're not really a boy wonder anymore, are you?"

Dick knew Catwoman was toying with him. But part of him wanted to believe she wasn't just playing around with his head. Trying to get more out of him then he should really let on to. He did not shrug away from her as she made herself comfortable beside him. He didn't feel the need to. To think what Batman would say if he ever got word of this encounter, only fueled the fire more.
"The Bat has nothing to do with it," he said lied. It was a constant battle within himself, half wanting to blame Batman and the other blaming himself. Though in true, maybe there wasn't anyone to blame but the fact that things change and people grow up. He allowed her to invade his space. Not really caring all that much that she was. This encounter was different, the two were practically on the same page.
His eyes had swept over the city view they had once more, before they settled on Catwoman giving him space once again. The removal of her goggles was an easy sign that she probably knew that he knew who she really was. There really was no way to doubt it. After everything they had gone through, it wasn't that hard to piece things together.
Dick listened to Selina. She was entirely correct on every term. He didn't want to be working under Batman forever. Taking orders like some soldier in an army. Dick felt like he was being held back from the many things he could accomplish on his own. Sure, Batman may not have seen the fights he's been though, but one look at Bruce and Dick could tell he already knew all about things. It always bugged Dick how Bruce found these things out so easily. He had to be checking up on things, unless the Gotham criminals were that much of a gossip group. Which he didn't doubt either. Just looking at Batman and knowing that he knew that something had gone on and the looks he gave were enough to make Dick feel like a kid again.
There was no doubt about it in Dick's mind, he had grown up. He was getting to old to play the sidekick role. Being in college and managing things on his own to the best he could really up him in the mind sense of being independent now a days. He really didn't need the help. Everyone had the time where they did need help though. How many times had he been there to help either Batgirl or Batman out of a tough situation.
"No, I'm not," he answered simple to her last question. He leaned his back against the doorway and look off into space. "You seem to know this situation better than I do."
"I just can't see things the way they used to be. I'm not a some kid willing to follow everyone around," Dick said. He was making a reference to the old days before the Titans about himself. How he had felt everything had come so easily to him in those days. He had never really had to think about ever really moving on past the title of Robin. And here he was facing it now.

Robin would be happy to know that she wasn't just playing with his head. In a sense, she did kind of care about how he felt. She'd known that kid for a few years as well. Even though she knew Batman better and for a longer time, Robin was a re-occuring nuisance the past few years. One could even say that she was fond of the bird boy as well, hence why she didn't hurt him more than she could in their chases. Though the reality behind that was simply not to piss Batman off that much either. An irritated Batman was fun. An angry and vengeful Batman was not.
'The Bat has nothing do with it.[/color]'
That right there made Selina burst out in a fit of laughter, rolling her eyes and looking over at him, giving him a look that just read 'puh-lease.' "Riiiight.. you're just out here contemplating your career as a vigilante's sidekick without one stray thought about him, hmm? Alright." She teased, and tapped her claws against the flooring of the roof.
There was a brief moment of silence after that, which was totally fine with Selina. Even if she did enjoy talking with and messing with some of her 'enemies,' she did keep in mind that at the core, Robin was actually at a crossroads of his life and really could use some help. She wasn't just an international thief. She had a great deal of sympathy for the kid. Hence why she kept her humor light hearted, and didn't push the subject when he wasn't initiating conversation.
During the silence, Selina kept her eyes fixed on the city, though not on any building in particular. Sometimes she'd look down at the cars meandering through the traffic, sometimes she'd look in the direction of the sirens that really never seemed to end, over in the eastward direction. Otherwise, she was actively waiting for Robin to say something else.
When he did, she turned back and gave a slight shrug, getting up and dusting off any debris from the roof's floor. "Look, it's pretty natural for anyone in your case.." She stopped there, and grinned. "Or anything like your case to feel how you're feeling. Rebelling against authority, or at least feeling like you should."
She nodded at his last sentence, and gave another shrug. "You're not a kid anymore, and things are different now. You could be your own man without him. But.. that's up to you."

Dick looked over at Selina, shooting a look that seemed to say that he didn't even want to go down that road at the moment. It was more on the case of Batman having anything to do with this. It really wasn't her place to know what went on in the Bat family. Though Dick wasn't making it all that hidden about the recent problems that had been coming up lately.
He had been picking up by now that Selina could have been more critical with how his life was going. She was being very polite and respectful of the situation at hand with her joking around a bit about it. He knew she wasn't trying to anger him at all. If she really wanted to, she could have by now.
Dick looked up at Selina now that she stood up. Of course she'd know more than him one this matter except the whole partner with a vigilante thing. But she did have a point and was making a lot of sense.
At her last words, he looked away in thought. He knew he could be his own man. As time went on he was replying less on others to help him. That's why everyone was taking it like he had disappeared. He had simply distances himself from those around him to give him room for thoughts. Dick need felt he needed the time alone every once and a while, but others just seemed to push back by getting involved, trying to find out what was wrong. To Dick, nothing was wrong. It was just his way of getting his mind clear and able to think.
"I know that," Dick said. He didn't look back at Selina at that moment, just letting himself get lose looking out across the city.
"I know that I don't want to be stuck were I am now," he said honestly. He then stood up, and looked over at Selina. "I want the freedom. I want the challenge. Everyone makes mistakes every once in a while. And even then, things can turn out alright."
"Things have changed and it's about time I pick up the pace and get on track," Dick stated. "I'm tired of always being looked down upon by others. I don't recall other sidekicks getting the respect that their mentors do when they fight on their own. "
He looked her in the eyes. He had opened up a little to her now, but still kept a guard up. Her encouragement was giving him the edge he had needed to find all this time. She was right on just about everything she had said. "I think it's about time things change around here," he said, a slight spark coming to his sharp blue eyes from behind the mask.

Of course, Selina could have taken a far different approach with the conversation. Although she was employing a bit of manipulation, there was always the option of being more cruel about it. Instead though, she played the cards that she felt best suited his emotions. Poor Robin. Growing up so fast and without the luxury of many friends aware of his vigilante life to understand his plight. She understood, and she'd make it all better.
What he said about people having the ability to change made her look over at him and a slight spark came to her eyes as well. Oh, really? Neither Batman, Robin, or that other little brat that he was toting along lately seemed to think that she was capable of change for the better, even when she hadn't stolen anything in months. She would even go so far as to partially blame their lack of confidence in her for her recent return to stealing. But, sure. For the goody-goody Robin, people could change. To this, she nodded and shrugged again.
The way Robin was speaking now pleased her greatly. Not so much for his sake, but for her sake. He'd be one less person in a cape after her, she figured. Now that he seemed to seriously be considering leaving Batman's shadow, she'd have to up her game as well. Be more convincing, appeal to his own wants even more, be far more misleading with her 'encouraging' words.
"So.. why don't you just leave?" She asked rather abrubtly, leaning against the doorway as well and looking off to the opposite side of the roof this time. "No one likes being stuck where they are if they're not comfortable where they are." Looking back over at him in the corner of her eyes, she grinned, and gave him a pat on the shoulder. "Little birdies have to leave the nest at some point, don't they?"
It was time for a change. She couldn't wait to be able to roam the roofs of Gotham without having to worry about running into Batman's little twerp of a sidekick. Even if he took another name and another costume, and stayed true to his crime fighting life; which, she was certain he would.. at least it wouldn't be from a member of Batman's so-called family.

Dick looked away from Selina. "It's really not all that simple as it seems," he said shaking his head slightly. He knew this was complicated in his eyes the most probably. Dick couldn't just think about himself. Sure, in his anger he would care what Bruce thought of any of this. But then his mind wondered to the though of being on Bruce's bad side. No one liked to be on his bad side, especially if you were a criminal on the bad side of the Bat. It wasn't only ticking Bruce off that worried him, he worried about what would happen between him and Babara. He knew Babs would support him in what ever he did. But it seemed when things got rough for him, Dick often liked to be alone. When he got lost in his anger, usually he was the only one who could bring himself out of it. He really didn't want to push Babs away though. Sometimes it just seemed easier for him to deal with things.
"I know I could just walk away from this, but there are more things involved then just that," he said. He didn't want to go into his personal life with Selina. It would go too far into his like as Dick Grayson. But with Dick there was a thin line between Dick Grayson and the life as a vigilante. Dick wasn't Bruce. And Robin wasn't Batman. It was a obvious characteristic difference between the two.
"But I know I want to," he said, looking back at Selina once again. "Things can't stay the same for ever. No one wants to think about the what ifs and what will happen. I know it's going to just be something I'm going to have to face sooner or later."
Dick did appreciate Selina being kind to him. He knew there was a little interest in the new situation going on. It was good to have an outside opinion on the situation at times though. At least for Dick it was definitely helping him to hear the opinion of someone on their own.
"I'm sure it better be sooner now because it is definitely getting later on this," he said. He could figure things out on his own. But talking with her was certainly helping him straighten out his thoughts quite a bit. It was a good thing he did come out here on his own. It he hadn't, he wouldn't have run into Selina.

The excuse that Robin came up with had Selina grinning yet again. Not as simple as it seemed? Okay, fine. It was simpler than it seemed. It had to be. It was a matter of leaving one life behind to start another, which was something that she was able to do with very little effort at all. Of course, she didn't have the same experiences in life that Dick had, and she hadn't been as lucky either. Not in the surrogate family area, anyway. Along with the grin, she scoffed and shook her head.
"You make it sound so complicated when really.. it is that simple." Selina's tone changed again from sounding light hearted to almost condescending. "You keep talking yourself in and out of your decisions, kid. Stop doing that." Leaning backward a bit, she let her head rest on his shoulder, and kept the grin on her face, no matter how .. off her tone was.
"I'll tell you what, in my observations.. Batman has a lot of.. strings. You're one of those strings. All you've got to do is cut the ties, and you're free to do what you'd like. How much simpler could it be?"
To Selina, the thought of Batman being a surrogate father figure to Robin, not to mention a friend and a mentor didn't even cross her mind simply because she didn't have anyone in her life that even remotely resembled that relation. She'd practically always been on her own, and never had the luxury of having someone to rely on. Actually, the fact that he was taking this decision so hard was kind of frustrating to the ever independant Catwoman.
Staring up at the younger man for a minute, Selina's grin widened and she brushed the side of her cowl against his cheek in a very cat-like manner, and moved away from him. "That, or keep bottling it up and letting him hog all the glory for a while longer and see how far that gets you."

Dick stood there and let Selina rest against him. He looked down at her. She was right. What has he been doing all this time? He had been talking himself in and out of the situation. That was what was making it harder for himself to come up with a final discussion. But even then, Selina probably didn't have the same situation as he did. Bruce was there for him when no one else was. Taking him in and raising him and helping to train him. If it hadn't been for Bruce, he probably never would have become any type of vigilante.
And without ever become who he was then, he never would have met Babs. There was so much tied in with him staying. But there was so much he could possibly gain from leaving. He felt like he was out growing everything and everyone was pushing him, trying to keep him in place. To try and keep things the way they were. It seemed Dick wasn't the only one afraid for the changes that seemed to be sure to come.
"There's more people involved than just Batman," Dick said out. "It doesn't only affect me, it affects them as well." He looked her in the eyes as he said this. She was definitely pushing him in an other direction that no one else had been encouraging him to.
He shifted a bit as she rubbed against, not in any real discomfort or anything, just it was a little odd. Then again it was what Catwoman did. He kept his eyes on her as she moved away from him. As she spoke, Dick thought about it. Was he really in it for the glory of the job? Dick never saw that side of Bruce either. He couldn't think of a time that it had ever been for the glory of anything. It was more just to serve justice and help when needed.
"I know that if I stay where I am I won't get any where," Dick replied. "But I've got to say, I've never really saw it for the glory though. Do you think I'm the type to cut out every article of when Batman and Robin save the day or stop a crime?"
At this point, Dick was relaxing quite a bit. Dick's voice was showing that he was becoming more at easy since before they had first started talking. He had even tried to joke around a little bit now.
"No, but you are right," Dick said. "What am I to do, just stay here? Being stuck in the same situation though is exactly what I don't want. It's time for a change. Time to move on, but it's going to be hard."

Through all of her motivational comments, Selina couldn't help but feel a sense of pride at how she was able to manipulate Robin's emotions, if only even in the slightest sense. Doing so gave her a real sense of accomplishment. By possibly destroying the possibility of one of Batman's sidekicks, she'd upped her future chances of escape significantly. Not to mention all the others that she'd help as well. Yes, getting Robin out of the picture was probably the best thing she'd accomplished in weeks. She was very happy with herself.
At the mention of 'others involved,' Selina crossed her arms and rose her brows at him. "You don't mean that other little snob you two associate with, do you?" She asked, obviously referring to Batgirl. Of the bat-trio, she really disliked the little girl the most. "You're kidding. You've got to be." She said, and waved it off. She wasn't here to give any real advice. Just as far as to get him out of her hair for a little while, and it seemed that she'd accomplished that.
"I know I'm right." She said with a smile, giving him a pat on the shoulder, curling her claws inward just enough to remind him of who she was, in case he forgot. While she was one of the trickiest people she knew, Robin was capable of pulling the wool over someone's eyes as well. Plus, she was completely exposed as far as her identity went at the moment, and he had cuffs on him. If it was a trick.. he'd pay dearly for it. The claws were just a warning.

"I'm not kidding," he answered flatly to her making such a comment about Babs. Even if this was Catwoman he was talking to. He was about say something when he felt the claws on his shoulder again. He decided against argue about it. She could easily do as she wanted with him at the moment since she was no pointing it out that she was still the Catwoman and not just Selina Kyle.
Dick looked her in the eyes again. She may be Catwoman, but he was a fair enough fight if she was headed that way. He wasn't really in the mood to play games at the moment. Selina had helped him figure out quite a bit of what he really wanted to do. Now he just needed to figure when he was going to take action and stop sitting around and stewing about it.
"It's going to happen, one way or another," Dick said. "The only fear is having those closest to you, turned against you." That was going to be the hardest thing. Dick had a feeling that only Catwoman was on his side about this matter at the moment. Babs didn't seem all that happen with the idea of any changes. And Bruce hasn't said anything about the recent blunders Robin had caused.
It was coming down to the draw, someone was going to have to press the button to get things started. And the longer it took, the harder it was getting. It looked like the time was coming closer for the change to happen. There was no way of turning back now, it was time for things to change.
