" PATRICE RUSHEN HELPIN' ME REMEMBER!" Harvey was tipsy and a Patrice Rushen song was playing. It was safe to say he was pleased, for the time being. He was bobbing along to the beat in his seat, bringin' the heat. He downed the shot of whiskey before him and a soon after began to sip on his beer again, a stout with a alcohol level that was a little steep. Thankfully a big man needed a lot of drank to get him drunk. "Hey isn't this the song from Men In Black-" " SHUT UP!" "Yeesh, man!" " No words. I want to hear no words WHILE PATRICE RUSHEN IS SINGIN' FOR ME!" The other bar patron shrugged, getting their drink and eventually fading back over to their table. Harvey was good at running off people he didn't like. He didn't like to people who pointed out pointless information he already knew, so there was that. Another whiskey was served to him and he would let it sit for a minute before diving into it. He'd let this one get a little oxygen into it, bringing out the aromatics. He really cared most about how it went down, but when the smells were right they were right, right? It was safe to say that Harvey was back from wherever the hell he'd disappeared to for the last year or so.

Bella nosed dived into the bar. The visit to Gordon's . Office didn't exactly go well once she saw the clowns in the jail cell. It didn't help the fact that she felt danger every where she went, had no memory or who she was or where she came from, and on top of all of that she got riddled in the chest with bullets and was somehow still alive.
Over the years Rick had seen a lot of strange stuff in Gotham but this had by far the strangest. He had seen hos entire squad just gundown a woman that looked like what he could only describe as a zombie, and yet here she was alive...just like a zombie.
She didn't act like one though. Typically a Zombie would go around eating but this girl seemed like a poor adrenaline jacked girl. Normally he chalked it up to drugs and was done with it, but that didn't account for the fact that she healed before their eyes. All he knew was he had to help her before she or someone else got hurt. As he saw Bella run into the bar he came after her.
"Look we don't want to hurt you."
Rick swung open the door. The bar was filled with the shouting of Yahoo's and the stench of stale beer. No surprise to see Harvey in the bar. The guy always seemed to be ready to drown himself in the next drink. There was Bella sitting on the bar counter in a curled up position. The bartender started cursing her out Rick tried to grab her, but she ripped one of the dispensers from the wall causing the alcoholic contents all over the counter...and Harvey. Now the girl did it. Rick knew never to mess with Harvey while he was drunk.

Briar had been in the bar for a few hours. Drinking water. Chowing down on some of the simple foods that it offered. And never in her entire life had she been more annoyed with one singular person than she had with Harvey Bullock. He was the most obnoxious drunk that she had ever had the displeasure of being in the same room with. And that was saying something. She’d been in many rooms with many drunks lately on her expeditions to study all walks of Gotham life.
Rubbing her temples with a heavy sigh, Briar took another sip of her water. Perhaps some tea next time would be nice. Oh, and that cop’s taste in music! She was so sick of it. To her immense relief, she was saved from her boredom by a miraculous little girl. The girl had run into the bar and jumped up on the counter only to promptly curl up into a ball. Fascinating!
Another policeman, this one in proper uniform, stormed in after her. He immediately made to grab the girl, but the girl ripped one of the dispensers out from the wall. That was some strength. And she had drenched the current object of her hatred! Immediately endearing the girl to Briar. All of this was quite interesting. Should she get involved? She didn’t really need Briar Byrnes attracting unwanted attention from the police, but…Well. She just couldn’t let this dear girl get arrested.
Rising from her seat swiftly as if startled by the commotion, she fell onto the police officer that had grabbed the girl with a good deal of force, her elbow planted onto his planted as they crashed to the ground, knocking him cold as soon as they made impact. “Oh no! Officer! I’m so sorry!” Briar exclaimed, suppressing the smile on her face as she scrambled to her feet.
Briar whirled around as she saw the bartender grasp at something under the bar. A baseball bat. Enraged and a bit frightened, undoubtedly by the girl’s display of strength. Briar reached for the girl’s hand to tug her out of the way of the oncoming bat. “Look out!”

Bella turned around and with out so much as thinking about it, grabbed the guy by the throat and lifted him off the ground. The sheer force of grip caused him to gag and drop the bat. She then threw the guy across the table. When the guy got up though, he grabbed a switch blade , grabbed her by the neck. "I'll show you what happens when a dumb broad like you messes with my business."
He proceeded to cut Bella's throat but much to his shock and horror. She didn't die.
"What the...?
A shot could be heard across the room, hitting the guy straight in the chest. Rick who had been knocked out earlier woke up to see the guy cut the young girls throat. Shoot to kill.
Bella looked at her blood stained fingers, and started to weep before falling to her knees. She should have died. Yet she lived.
"What am I? Why can't I remember anything?"
Rick ran to the young girl and hugged her. Tears started dripping into his handlebar mustache.
He couldn't help it. He had a daughter that was murdered by getting her throat cut.
"Shhh it's okay it's okay."
He then looked at the woman who had knocked him out.
" I wasn't going to arrest her. She's lost, we got no record of her. We don't know who she is or where she came from. At first my boys and I thought she was a zombie..."
the guy scratched his head, there was only a handful of people left,
"...Look I ain't got no room to put this girl up in, if any of you guys who are still left in this looney house might be willing to give this girl some shelter for a couple of days, while the boys and I try to figure what the heck exactly is going on here, you'd be doing the Gotham Police a huge favor. I'll even make it worth your while."
