The chill of fear ran down Kitsune’s spine as she traversed the dark, dank sewer passages below the western portion of Gotham City. The industrial district, noisy and smog coated on the surface, gave way to an eerie silence once in the expansive sewer system below Gotham. Rats slipped in and out of the shadows. Were it not for her training, she might have flinched every time one popped into view. As it was, she simply had to press on despite the crawling feeling of eyes watching her.
As time passed and the mild stench faded, Kitsune made her way into an abandoned sector of the sewers that had long since fallen out of use. Graffiti dotted the walls here and there. The sound of voices echoed faintly through the passage, rebounding making its source lost. But still, it set Kitsune’s nerves more at ease. Knowing that she was not alone…it made her paranoia feel more reasonable.
“So what are your plans for the weekend?”
“Think I’m gonna hit up the Stacked Deck…”
“Again? Man, you need to lay off of the drinks for a bit. Think about your kid!”
“Yeah, yeah…maybe I’ll take her to the park or something instead.”
“There you go, man.”
The two thugs came into view as Kitsune glanced around a corner before ducking back out of sight. She took a deep breath and steeled herself. This was the crossing. The point of no return. She straightened herself from her crouched stealthy position. There was a chance that she would simply be shot on sight. She didn’t exactly relish that. But she had made her choice.
Stepping out from around the bend, Kitsune slowly approached the two men, her silver hair swaying behind her. She held her hands up non-threateningly. She stopped a fair distance away from them. They failed to notice her. Kitsune frowned behind her mask and waited for them to be alerted to her presence. Still nothing.
“Ahem,” she said, clearing her throat.
The men, their eyes wide, whirled around with guns in hand. Kitsune stood very still. “I would like to speak with your employer.” The two men looked at each other. One lowered his weapon to access his radio.
“Boss. We got a visitor…A lady visitor. What do you want us to do with her?”

Bane stood in the makeshift office that he was given, countless pictures of the Batman sightings lining the wall with notes scribbled on sticky notes right next to them as well as a map of Gotham City that had marked all of his sightings over the vast terrain that was Gotham.
He'd been planning, waiting to break the Bat but for now it was matter of studying the man who dressed like the flying rodent of the night. It was amazing to Bane how nearly everyone thought this man to be a legend, a savior, and how only the strongest knew they could laugh in his face. It wasn't till one of his men interrupted him by announcing they had a visitor that he was forced out of his office with Venom pumping through his veins just in case this visitor decided to be unwise.
"Who are you and what makes you think you can speak with the mighty Bane?" He boomed out. flexing his muscles as he men backed against the walls to make a path for the barreling 6'6, 350 tank that was known as Bane. He eyed her from behind the red eyes of his mask before taking steps towards her. She had the look of an assasssin, a asesino with her garb which made Bane all the more curious.
Raising a clenched fist in the air, Bane's men lowered their guns as he stopped merely inches away from her. He towered over her like the giant he was, only making him that more intimidating as he stood over her in all of his glory.

It wasn’t long before the man that she had come here to meet came into view. An impressive specimen of a man normally, his natural strength was often augmented by his infamous Venom formula. As he sized her up, she did the same to him. Peering at him up and down through the black eye slits in her fox mask, she observed his own recognizable mask. He wasn’t wearing a shirt, but she supposed that was understandable. Must be difficult to find something in his size. He was a veritable giant of a man.
At a gesture from their leader, the men lowered their guns. Kitsune relaxed visibly, lowering her hands back down to her sides. However, Bane continued to approach until he was mere inches away from her. Intimidation tactics? It was quite unwise to put himself so close to an assassin. Especially a member of the League of Assassins. If she wanted to, she could prick him right now with a lethal dose of curare. Not that she wanted to or cared to. That was not the purpose of this visit.
Kitsune tilted her head up to gaze up at the tower of a man before her, completely unintimidated. But, it would be ridiculous to carry out a conversation at such close proximity, so she stepped back slowly and inclined her head respectfully.
“I am called Kitsune. Tengo el placer de conocerte, poderoso Bane,” she replied charmingly. “I came to make you an offer…But I’m afraid that I come now bearing some unfortunate news. The GCPD have located this base of operations and are coming to arrest you.”
She turned her head slightly to glance down into the dark tunnels that stretched onward silently, feeling that all too familiar feeling of being watched. Kitsune had noted the entry positions of the police force before making her own entry into the sewer systems. They were likely already making their trek here slowly.
“I would advise swift action.”

He smirked beneath the mask as this 'Kitsune' as she called herself informed him of the GCPD that was slowly approaching his compound. She underestimated his intelligence which he assumed was because of his unnatural size and ability to smash cars like twigs, as dumbness was often the stereotypes with his kind of strength. With one more hand signal his men went to attention and with a snap took their action.
Soldiers lined about the compound, a good 20-30 in numbers as they took their stances behind covers with their guns raised at what he assumed would truly be the GCPD if this assassin was true to her word. It was something pleasing to Bane to know that the GCPD had put it upon themselves to try to seek them out. They were weak and nothing compared to the ones in Peña Duro. "You think the GCPD scares the likes of me, asesino?" He replied to her. "Watch the mighty Bane prove his strength in the art of war."
He heard water splash as the officers boots made contact on their way to his compound. Closer and closer every minute Bane could only let out a small, boasting laugh that had most definitely sent shivers down the spines of his enemies in Peña Duro. Peña Duro made this 'Gotham City' look like nothing more then a playground for children at best, the only horror in the city was a man whom dressed in the ridiculous attire of a bat.
Where in Peña Duro, the horrors were very much past that growing up. He had to take beatings from the guards because they just felt the need to beat on him, he had to watch them carelessly toss his mother's corpse off of a cliff to dispose of the body, and then he had to watch out for his own back as he self taught himself to be the military genius he considered he was today.
He thought of the GCPD as nothing, mere ants beneath the bloodied boots of Bane and as far as this moment was concerned he was ready to prove it with the Venom pumping fresh through his veins from moments ago with adrenaline and strength rushing through his body as the gunfight ensued. With a mighty roar, Bane charged into the crowd of the GCPD as they fired off rounds in an attempt to subdue the 6'6 masked genius but their bullets of course had no effects on his now durable skin only now modified by Venom.

With a gesture, swift action was indeed taken as Bane sought to defend his outpost from the GCPD instead of fleeing. How interesting. What purpose would a show of force accomplish? Perhaps it would buy time for him to vacate this compound, but from the man’s boasts, it did not appear to be his intention to leave at all.
“I would like nothing more but to observe you at work,” she replied, smiling beneath her mask. As the sounds of splashing alerted her to the presence of the oncoming police officers, Kitsune turned slightly to look ahead into the darkness. A laugh from Bane drew her attention back to the giant of a man. Quite confident, wasn’t he? Well. She was interested in seeing his prowess.
Kitsune turned her back to the darkness yawning before her and walked past Bane and his men, taking cover around one of the corners. She would be concealed from view here relatively safe from gunfire, and it would allow her to observe Bane quite easily. With a roar, Bane plunged into the fray as they unloaded their guns on him. Her eyebrows shot up slightly when the bullets simply had no effect, failing to pierce his skin. Venom was quite the drug.
Suddenly feeling a bit less certain of herself, she recalculated her strategy in case this meeting went awry. She would use an inhalant, but she was unsure if that mask would protect him from it. Hers had an air filter built in. Well, combat was a last resort as always. Her first tool would be her wiles. Drawing out her blowgun, she considered assisting Bane in his battle with the police force. Shaking her head, she sheathed it once more. He seemed to be enjoying himself, and she had no wish to reveal her presence at this moment.

Bane was truly back in his element as bullets soared and bodies fell limp to the ground with a bloodcurdling scream as the large figure tossed them around. At this point the once compound had been reduced to nothing but utter chaos with him straight in the center laughing at death in the face. Unfortunately he was one of the only few who could truly distract the GCPD, where his men were nothing but idiots with guns he was much more. He was the perfect war machine physically and mentally and knew just what it took for this situation.
White vans sped off from the opposite end of the compound carrying as much supplies as possible as fire opened up from the remaining rifles. With the supplies departing and the body count rising Bane had to think as quick as possible as he lifted a large barrel and threw it at the police, giving him a few mere seconds to react by grabbing a pistol from not too far that made the barrel shoot out it's gasoline and explode upon impact knocking them back and no doubt taking care of a few.
He roared triumphantly as he retreated towards the exit, the last van waiting just for him as he fought off what remained of his opponents. The GCPD were among the many idiots compared to Bane that he so clearly could overcome if he wished at the flick of his pinky finger. He backed up into the van and smirked beneath his mask as he pulled out a detonator and let his finger linger over the trigger for the few seconds it took for the car to speed off and pressed down. What remained of the base and it's supplies went up in a fiery blaze as the white van sped off with the police temporarily distracted.

The Gotham warlord was quite the sight to behold. His primal fury. Like a barely restrained animal. He lacked the form and finesse of a highly trained assassin, but he made up for it in both physical and mental power. Venom provided an additional boost that seemed to push Bane onto the level of a metahuman.
While he distracted the GCPD, Bane’s men took full advantage and began moving supplies out of the compound with all due haste. She ought to hitch a ride on one of them. Noting Bane’s retreat, Kitsune made her move, keeping out of sight and the line of fire until she finally managed to slip into the van lingering around for its master. She braced herself as the van sped off and the thunderous shockwave boomed and echoed through the sewers.
Clapping both to get Bane’s attention and stroke his ego, Kitsune smiled behind her mask. “Very impressive!” she remarked, “I like your style. It’s a little…theatric, but that isn’t a bad thing.” Kitsune watched Bane carefully, unsure of how the venom would make him react. She had trapped herself in this small space with him as a show of trust. No easy escapes should something go amiss. “Will they give chase, do you think?”
