Waking up can be hard to do for anyone. Anyone with a long hour job or simply from partying too hard and maybe in his younger years that may have been half the trouble. Though even then it was mostly consumed by a life as hero. Pretty much saying screw you to 9 to 5 jobs. Sometimes school, when he was a school boy, looking better in shorts than Dick could even try to emulate. Last night and mostly this morning had found Roy crashed on his bed. Completely zoned. Didn’t really try to completely undress, as he woke up with at least one shoe still on his foot. With a weak hand feeling around for the clock, a clock he more than often replaced. This was keeping up for the last month, with just a subtle crack on the glass. As his spare hand wiped the sleep left in his eyes. The number 2 kinda played blurry in his vision. It wasn’t too often he got a lie in like this, but occasionally you just need to just sleep off the weeks, sometimes months. The place was quiet, save the slight ringing in his left ear. There was a small stiffness in his neck and his mouth of dry. For a moment Roy just laid there. Head in the pillow and his body spread on his bed, with a leg dangling off the side. Whilst the other a long with most of his body tangled in his sheets. It was summer now and the heat was definitely there. Mostly welcomed. Laying there as Roy contemplated getting up. Somehow just a complete day without any need was completely hopeless and if there was Roy would probably go a little insane. As much as he may envy a little chill time. An extra sleep. He did not envy being off the grid. He had no family. He had friends, but he was mostly in this for himself. To save the world. Well, one bit at a time. He was no Superman. Hmmm, there’s a thought, did he ever just sleep ing and then Roy wished any thought of Superman. He’d make anyone feel bad.
Slowly but surely Roy did find his feet to the floor of his bedroom. The rest with his mind eventually caught up. Left his room, to the bathroom and hopped into the shower. A quick wash, a slow return to pull on some clothes in his room. Jeans. White tee and a loose plaid shirt. Slipping on some shoes. He felt around his chin, debating whether or not to shave. He really couldn’t be bothered. It was stubbly, but he was sure he could get away with it for another day. Maybe even two if he played at it well. Grabbing his duffle bag and swiftly filled it will athletic gear. Zipped it up. Hang it over his shoulder. Grabbing a pair of sunnies as he left his room and put them on. Moving through the quiet apartment and passing through the kitchen. Roy made a small stop, opening the fridge and pulling out a bottle filled with juice. Hmmm, yeah the tasty blend of veggie juice, with just enough percentage of apple and lemon to help take it down if nothing else. Taking a sip, yeah, right straight into the blood stream. Unlike his occasional shots of vodka in morning. This was perhaps a little healthier. Because Roy was such a health nut… Not wasting anytime, Roy left the apartment and headed down to the garage. Tossing his bag in the passenger seat, before placing himself in the drivers seat. Placed his hand on the steering wheel, his baby! Started her up and pulled out of the garage. Drinking is veggies as he went. Driving out of Bludhaven, headed for his Bunker. Really it was the Outsider’s bunker, but he was there most of the time. Unlike others, he didn’t have much of a day job. Now there are a few ways to get to his bunker, all of which only Ousiders knew, otherwise there be no point it being secret. Mysterious he pulled through a hidden tunnel between cities. Which led him the underground passage and right within the bunker. A sort of parking space within, for cars. A boat maybe. Plane. Ok, maybe not right now, Roy maybe in a process to build something and not like the T-jet. Although as he stepped out of the car, Roy quite enjoyed the T-jet. Such a engine. Roy was almost sure he could make something better.
Pushing through some doors and more security. Such tight security even Roy could almost have trouble, but it was a requirement. He wasn’t about anyone to just come storming into his baby, that he didn’t want there and he couldn’t very well have Dick play security guard, as much as that would be amusing… Roy eventually entered the main section of the bunker. Where his many screens were. The table. Chairs, but no one filled them. Least not for now. The bunker was seemingly as empty as the apartment he left, but that didn’t matter. Roy headed straight to one of the little bedrooms, they were nothing overly homely, just for overnight shifts mostly. Putting his bag on the bed he more often claimed. With the door still open. He stripped his clothes off and put his athletic gear on. Your basic pants that was like a second skin, like leggings to the knees. Shorts over the top and basic singlet. Pulled on some runners. He was good to go. Not far as he left the room only to continue down the hall and into the gym set up. There was some basic equipment, weights, machines. There was also ropes. Punching bags. Tyres. Rings and what not. A nice set up for varies work outs, such as cross fit. Roy motioned to the stereo setup, flicked on some beats, a little trashy kind and pulled for water bottle from the mini fridge. Towel from the rack. Placing these down on a side bench. He was good to start his work out routine. He set a time up and if he timed it well. Should be at least a 3 hour finish. Roy got right in it. Started with a good warm up. Before doing a round with some weights. Some deadliest. Steps. Push ups and chin ups. Not always in that order, but he kept up a could rep on each one… After about an hour and half of working it out. Sweating it out, he had finished one of the routines. Whilst in his cross fit high state, pulling off his singlet as he half collapsed on the floor. Heaving heavily out of his lungs, as his head swirled. He knew he wasn’t done yet, there was another routine to go, but for a moment Roy laid on the floor in the centre of the gym area. His eyes half closed and his ears hearing not much over his pulsating heart rate. It was painful, but he relished this.

School was out for the summer, and Kara had made it through with nothing less than honors. She hardly tried though, it was easy to memorize things when you had the ability to learn as quickly as she could. She had yet to determine if she was going to attempt a normal life and take some classes that fall at a near by university. She'd think about that in an other month or so.
Kara had already sent out applications and several if not, most of the schools had already accepted her. This leaving her with the choice. Sometimes she wondered if she was trying too hard or not hard enough to have a life. This secret identity thing could really suck sometimes.
Forgetting about the worries of finical aid and school for the day, Kara ditched everything and had headed for the bunker. Flying there of course. Was there any other way?
Right away the sound of music was caught by her superior hearing ability. There was only one Outsider who listened to that kind of music.
After heading into the bunk, clearing security, Kara knew he was in the training facilities. Was there any other place for him to go besides here, she wondered.
She had been suited up, but rushed through the place to the room that had a small locker of some of their individual stuff, and changed into some work out cloths.
Now this was Supergirl, she hardly had to workout at all. The muscle and tone was natural for a Kryptonian. There was little to no need for a workout. Though considering Roy was here by himself, doing nothing other than blasting music and wearing himself out, she felt it would be rather enjoyable for him to maybe have some company.
Then again...maybe he wanted to be left alone? It was hard to say, but it was worth a try.
She wear a red and blue sports bra with a pair of black spandex capris and running shoes. Kara had done a quick french braid with her long blonde hair to keep it from falling into her face. Well at least the strands that stayed in.
Walking into the gym, she caught sight of Roy, on the floor looking like he was about ready to pass out. Kara walked over there, leaving the music blasting.
"Hey! Need a hand," Kara asked as she walked over, extending her hand out to the Roy sprawled out on the floor.

There was nothing, just darkness as Roy laid sprawled with his eyes still shut. Listening to nothing, but the big thuds of his pulse. With the background of the music. For all he knew he was very much alone and he was almost content to lay where he was for all time. In reality, that would fail, but in the adrenaline of his mind. He felt he could. Feeling almost his body vibrate. He was in no other zone, but right here. Trying not to focus for a minute, maybe two that he didn’t need to get into his next gym routine. He didn’t even take note of any other sounds going on the bunker, or maybe he did, he just didn’t register them. Didn’t register another Outsider dropping in. Not until he could hear the faint motion of them walking towards him, mere footsteps away, but Roy was still so zone out that he didn’t even open his eyes. Half figuring there was a chance his mind was playing up on him, that it wasn’t exactly real. Though it was clearly becoming more real as a shadow cast over him and faint familiar scent. For whatever reason he’d relate it to sea salt and that naturally made his wonder. Before his mind settled, he was brought back, once Kara’s voice came in like daylight. Roy gently half smiled, mostly to himself. Opening his eyes… Well, he can say he certainly took notice of her hand, but that really was the beginning.
”Hmmm, I don’t know… I’m rather enjoying the view! "
Roy responded with a raise of his brows and his smile turning into a gentle smirk. Failing to give Kara a more direct answer, but it seemed he was at somewhat of a crossroads. Did he need to get up? Yes, least at some point. Did he want to get up? Hmmm, he needed more time to rattle that concept. He was a little take by, his eyes escaped up Kara’s body. Up her tightly bound legs, toned little torso, even the curve of her collar bone, up to the shape of her delicate face, framed by the loose bits of golden strands and the rest fell into a braid. Even vertically she was super… For what felt like minutes, Roy just laid there, with his eyes up and still somewhat heaving. As soon his surroundings were coming back into place, even it most still felt like it was spinning. Even the music came back to him much clearer, with deep thrashing sounds. With some effort, he might as well if she was going to be kind to offer her hand, Roy motioned his hand to take hers… Half thinking she may need to do most of the pulling, unless she wanted to join. Was it possible to trip her up? Hmmm, it certainly played on his mind and his smirk a little. Then again, she’d most likely kick his ass and he’d totally fail, because well she’s Supergirl. One just doesn’t trip up Supergirl.
”Are you here to be my spirit coach, little lady?"
Half questioned, Half observed as Roy spoke. Detailing more of the clothes Kara was wearing. She was certainly ready for the gym and Roy could easily say he was very much up for the company. To encourage it, then again he was well aware had a lot of natural gifts. Hmmm, in some areas he knew too well, bad Roy. Natural fitness was one of them, but then again she did seem to have a knack at trying to be a little more human. Roy could really wonder why sometimes, half the things he did, didn’t feel all that amazing and being naturally fit as Kara. This would make this all that much easier and he wouldn’t flat out on the floor… Oddly, in a way he’d probably miss it, as much as it hurt, he enjoyed it. Pain was part of the deal! He could almost be ready more a little more!

"You're hopeless, you know that," Kara replied to his comment.
Catching the look on his face and where his eyes were wandering. She rolled her eyes at his actions. That was Roy for ya, always with the joking. She sometimes wondered if there was only one thing on a human man's mind.
She blew it off of course. Being used to the teasing between them and the conversation, it was easy to deal what Roy dished.
He seemed to stall as he had reached for her hand. Was he really that tired or was he planning something? It was hard to say. But once he have her his hand, Kara with easy pulled him up to his feet. She could have just as easily lifted him right off the ground and set him up.
"Don't flatter yourself. I just though you might need a spotter or a sparring partner," Kara was slightly suggesting some ideas or workout that would allow for two people to workout.

Joking? Maybe Roy had been. Roy’s smirk remained at the rolling of her eyes, like rolling mini waves. Hmmm, although maybe right now with a hint of a rolling cloud. Her response read, not overly impressed. Surely he was just telling it how it is or least what he could see. Though her words, were nothing Roy hadn’t heard before and if he was a big lump of insecurities, he’d probably take it to heart. If Roy had a heart. Folding his hand he had reached, but no strength to remain out to Kara’s, so it fell back upon his bare chest. Felt the rapid beating that sought to escape.
”You know, that stings! Maybe you could redirect me?"
Roy teased the hurting of his feelings, with his hand over his heart and look of tender brown eyes. Naturally it only lasted before lips turned back into a coy smile as he offered her the chance to redirect him, get him to be on the hopeful track. Of course in such that could be in any direction. Any meaning. Wasn’t she Supergirl. Wasn’t filled with hope. Roy looked at her playfully. His eyes shifted down from her eyes again. To her hand. Half almost rolling his eyes, not so much out of disinterest, rather more he’d be obliging. He’d cut the act, for however long. Putting out his hand once again, hardly doing any of the work as Kara pulled him up with ease. Finally back to his feet again, a little unsettled at first, but he quickly found his balance. Even if his legs felt that extra light and trembling feeling. That was how it was suppose to feel. Placing his singlet drenched in his sweat over his shoulder, temporarily as he motioned a little to one of the side of the gym, where the bench was for his other belongings. Tossing his singlet down there. Stretched his arms a little across his body, before grabbing for his towel. Catching some of the sweat beating off body, particularly behind his neck. It wouldn’t be the last of the sweat, of course. His attention quickly diverted back to Kara. Picking up his water bottle, as he gave an amusing expression and soft laugh to her directed comment.
”Is this you asking to kick my ass again? You know you don’t need permission, Kara… Although maybe lets warm into it first!”
Asked Roy, with a slight observing raise to his brow. As mostly as Kara had mentioned Spotter and more particularly, Sparring. Let’s just say there was big difference in Sparring with Kara than there was sparring with Dick. Roy more than had Dick’s number. Roy chugged down his water, before he offered a intended coy smile of assurance in Kara’s direction. Somehow he’d always go back for more and in reality it was good for him. He’s had to face some god like threats before and there were probably many more to come. Many not as cute or as kind as Kara. Or as giving…. Though he needed a little time to warm into it. He still felt like he had sea legs from his last work out and no doubt she’d clean the floor with his ass… Hmmm, maybe some star jumps? Not that anything really was directing Roy’s mind. Taking a few more sips of his water. Feeling somewhat refreshed.
”How would you like to warm up? What happened to school, you didn’t just ditch to come kick my ass? ”
As much of a joker Roy maybe, he was also one with manners, offering Kara the choice. His eyes scanned the room there were all kinds of equipment or just the floor, just for the basic down to it kind of warm ups. Curious, perhaps Roy should have been more aware. Payed more attention to the day to day, particularly Kara’s schooling, Outsiders were suppose to keep to a certain code. A code mostly set for Dick. It was bound to loosen a little bit. Finished with another sip from his bottle and he placed it down. Half telling himself to stop being a little pussy and just get back into working out, as body was still feeling the reluctant pull to oblige.
