The Italian Restaurant. Lara was in front of the door, but she was looking into the restaurant through the glass, she could see Wind's table the one he usually used when taking them to the restaurant. Lara took a deep breath. The staff will recognize her and so the General will know about this for sure. Perhaps there was no one in the restaurant aside of the mafia-people like in the movies when the restaurants were used for meetings like this one.
"It would be nice if this was just a movie" she thought entering in the restaurant, but no, she had to face the consequences of her actions for real, at least her cousin returned to Italy, at least this was not for nothing. Lara entered in, she was wearing a black jacket, a white t-shirt and a pair of jeans with grey Converse. Lara wasn't interested in fashion during her ordinary days and she wasn't especially now. It was a shame though because her body could wear female and nice things, but she didn't even wear makeup.
A lock of her blonde hair fell in front of her blue eyes so she put it behind her ear. Lara was moving her gaze around, there were no so many people and all of them seemed to be Sofia's henchmen and not ordinary clients, but that could just be Lara's impression...hope. She didn't really want too many people around, especially the staff. Lara wondered where Sofia was because she couldn't see her anywhere, but maybe she was just in another part of the restaurant "You do this one time and all of a sudden become one of them" Lara thought and she really wanted to leave, but she couldn't, she kept repeating to herself that she couldn't.

Sitting in the chair that her father usually resided, at the head of an unusually long table – was Sofia Falcone. Eating a heavily dressed salad and indulging in another glass of white wine, she waited impatiently for her guest to arrive. The restaurant was heavily guarded by her men. Sofia resided in the private dining room where the family hosted many larger-than-life dinners at the expense of the restaurants black-mailed owners. Even now, the main dining room was nearly empty. Only a few had dared to linger aft the infamous brunette strutted into the restaurant. The room was nearly silent as she continued to chew her salad.
Finally, the bell above the front door signaled another arrival. The closest thing to a smile that Sofia was able to produce played on her thin lips as she looked to Angelo. “Bring her back here.” Sofia ordered, and the man obediently went to the main dining room to fetch the petite blonde. “Miss Sofia has been waiting on you.” He commented blandly. “If you will follow me.” He turned on a heel and began to walk to the private dining room, where Sofia continued to sit at the head of the table. She looked up expectantly, waiting for the pair to return to the room.
“Oh, little Lara. It seems like only yesterday.” She grinned evilly. “Sit” She commanded, a scowl quickly masking the hint of a smile that had been there. “Wait – actually. Angelo. Check to see if the little miss is wearing a wire. You know the Benedetti’s. Sneaky bunch.” She waited once more to see if the blonde would comply with another dose of humiliation. [/font]

Lara saw a tall man walking towards her and she knew who that man was because he read a file about him, his name was Angelo. Lara didn't know why, but she was sure that the man was going to grab her or something, instead he was very elegantly polite and Lara followed him even though she would have preferred to just run away. The lady of the house had been waiting for her, that was no good "Strange, I thought I was on time!" apparently Lara was wrong, she was late and that wasn't a nice start for a meeting, especially a meeting with Sofia Falcone.
Lara followed Angelo into a private dining room and Lara wondered again why Mark kept bringing them to eat here? This was a mafia's place so they shouldn't eat in this restaurant. However, she couldn't even ask him otherwise she would have had a lot of explaining to do and she didn't want to. Lara looked at Sofia when she spoke "Who knows what she did with my clothes? Maybe she burnt them" Lara thought without replying, instead she was going to sit when Sofia changed her mind.
Lara frowned at Sofia's words about the Benedetti's family, she didn't like what Sofia said, but Lara was just happy that the Benedetti didn't end up with the Falcone's family. If this was the price to pay then let it be. Lara's face was emotionless, or at least she tried to not show anything because she didn't want Sofia to enjoy her suffering. Lara looked up at Angelo and waited, she didn't have any wires on her or something like that, so Angelo couldn't find anything on her. That calmed Lara a little bit, but still, this humiliation wasn't a good start, however Lara tried to endure it without showing her emotions.

Sofia sat, smirking and satisfied with the rush of power that surged through her. She could get used to this. Part of her wasn’t even entirely sure what she would use little Lara for. She was quick – that was clear. And she was small enough to slip in and out of some tighter places. There was also an innocence about her that Sofia was sure that she could use. It wasn’t as though this woman had a debt that Sofia could constantly remind her of. No, if anything Sofia owed her for so generously donating her clothes. However, the young and empowered brunette seemed to enjoy the fact that she could manipulate such people into doing her bidding.
Her cold eyes scanned the woman’s petite frame as the large man ran his large hands up and down her body. “Oooo, not so rough!” She exclaimed with a loud cackle. Honestly, she couldn’t care less, but she had to play into the humiliating situation. With a sigh when she found herself quickly becoming bored – part of her almost wanted him to find a device of sorts on little Lara. It certainly would have made for an interesting course of events to follow and Sofia was certainly in one of her moods today.
“Good girl.” The intimidating young woman declared, taking another hearty sip of the robust wine. “Sit down.” She demanded shortly. “Would you like anything to eat, little Lara? Or drink?” She asked, her cold eyes locked on the blonde as the trace of a smile vanished within an instant.

"Why are we even here? We could just leave, the cousin is already in Italy, forgotten by the Falcone...and why am I thinking about myself using we?" Lara thought holding a sigh. Angelo did his job and Sofia's commentary wasn't helping, of course. "No, don't do that" she thought looking down at her hands, they were ready to punch Angelo's face or break his fingers, just to thank him for the attentions.
"If she calls me pal, I swear to god..." Lara grinned her teeth, but without showing anything, outside she was still the so apparently innocent petit Lara. The woman here wasn't talking so much, but thinking too much and it just got her more anxious "Yeah, arsenico for you" Lara just thought that, but her glare was enough saying by its own. Lara sat shaking her head and decided to talk finally "What do I have to do?" she asked Sofia with a serious tone. This couldn't end well, especially because Sofia kept calling her little Lara. But after all, nella botte piccola c'è il vino buono.
The restaurant was quite and the only noises came from the kitchen or Lara and Sofia's talking. Frankly, Lara wanted this to end soon because this was too much pressure, so she just wanted to know what she was supposed to do and deal with it.

Sofia had been keeping tabs on the woman’s family for the past few days. After all, if she planned to use them against the blonde Benedetti, she needed to have her ducks in a row. The cousin she had so unexpectedly met at the party had been sent off to Italy which made Sofia wonder just how intimidating of a person she was. She loved the power that came along with such a position – though her royal highness was sure to be revoked from the throne the moment that daddy dearest made his return. The thought alone made her scowl. Her gaze turned to Lara, so lost in her own thoughts (not to mention the bottle of wine she had already ingested prior to the woman’s arrival). “Ohhh, now. If we are expected to be family one day – surely you would want to get to know me.” She managed a fake pout. “Now my feelings are hurt.” She replied sarcastically in the same condescending tone. Another brief cackle poured from her dark lips before the emotionless expression returned. “Tell me, what it you do for a living is.” She asked, “And don’t lie, because you know I’ll know.” She winked in the blondes’ direction.

Lara had to restrain herself, she kept thinking about smashing heads and kicking ass. She would have probably died though because they were too many and armed. However, her mind kept thinking of ways to harm these henchmen, it was becoming more difficult to listen to what Sofia was saying with all these thoughts.
"We are not family" Lara thought with a savere expression on her face, her eyes fixed on Sofia's face without moving "I study at the university" it wasn't a lie and Lara didn't really want to chitchat, she just wanted to know what to do, she was going to steal something or no?
Lara kept her face straight, her voice flat, trying to avoid any emotion. She didn't like this situation at all, she didn't know how to get away from this and the General wasn't an option "What if she asks me to steal something from Wayne Tower? Or from one of those crazy people?" Lara thought and waited for Sofia to tell her what she wanted from her.

Sofia looked at the noteworthy, five-course dinner that sat before her. She hadn’t bothered to touch any of it because, honestly, she wasn’t even the slightest bit hungry. However, that little bitch of a waitress had looked at her in a way that the young woman didn’t approve off. Despite her own hateful gaze back at what she had assumed to be the owners daughter based on physical similarities alone, Sofia also decided to punish her further. The young heiress ordered a spread of expensive foods that was now getting incredibly cold on the table before her. The hateful brunette did not plan on paying for any of it either, causing all of the hard word and preparation to go to a complete waste.
Turning her attention from the food back to Lara as she spoke, Sofia only uttered one word in as a response. “Boring.” She leaned slightly, pulling a sleek, dark combat knife from her boot. She began to inspect its sharp blade, her eyes practically lifeless as she stared at it. “So,so boring.” With a sinister glint returning to meet her eyes, she looked up at the blonde that sat across the way. “Let’s liven things up, shall we?” She continued to maneuver the blade in her hands, though her gaze focused on Lara alone.
“You have exactly thirty seconds to tell me how you might be valuable to me, or I’ll turn you into such a bloody mess that that little bitch in the other room will spend weeks cleaning you off the walls.” The closest think to a smirk graced her thin lips as she glanced up at the clock. “Here we go, little Lara. Tell me what makes you so special.” Sofia continued in a patronizing tone. Her dark eyes still lingering on the face of the clock, she rose a hand eye-level as if instructing the blonde to wait.
Finally, when the long hand met the 12 she returned her attention forward, though her eyes met those of the painted portrait mounted on the wall behind the blonde. Without missing a beat, she threw the knife with a great deal of force. It soared only inches above Lara’s head before plunging its sharp blade into the man painted in the portrait – right where she assumed his heart might be.
“Begin.” Sofia said with an obvious satisfaction

Lara's body was screaming to do something when the spoiled woman took a combat knife. Lara's body wanted to defense itself, kick some asses, but Lara couldn't do it. She had to stay calm. Very calm. Don't punch her, Lara, don't do it. Lara narrowed her eyes. Oh, yes, being just an university student was boring, but she was also working for the army. She was like one of those people in tv shows who had a second life.
"Show off" she thought when Falcone's daughter threw the knife in the painting. Lara closed her eyes for a second when the knife almost touched her. Her body screamed again, angrily. Calm, she had to stay calm. Lara let few time passed by, but then she spoke at last "I can steal or introduce things, I'm a runner so I'm difficult to catch too" she said "You can give me a task and I'll do it" she was very good at it, the army trained her and she was going to use those abilities for a bad purpose....and she felt guilty now.
Lara kept a straight face looking at Sofia waiting for e decision. A task, that was it, she just had to do something for Sofia then everything was going to be okay again. Back as things were supposed to be. Or maybe not. Mark always found out what his guys were up to. Lara didn't know what was going to happen to her, but she was more worried about Sofia's task.

Sofia was noticeably disappointed when she didn’t get a reaction out of the blonde. She was hoping for a least some sort of squeak or at the very least to see the fear in her eyes. Of course, the young Falcone was not nearly as good as hiding how upset she was as little Lara seemed to be. Part of her wanted to retrieve the knife and try again – this time with the blonde as her target. This meeting was going much to slow for her liking. By now she was at least hoping for the blonde to be begging her for some sort of arrangement. But no, here she was sitting calmly at the seat opposite her and the large feast.
“Any task, you say…” Sofia repeated, toying with the idea. “Kill a commissioner.” Sofia said casually, shrugging her shoulders. This wasn’t really what she had in mind. In fact, she had just said the first thing that had popped into her chaotic mind. Even if Lara did agree she would simply toy with her further only to change the plan in the next few moments. OF course, she was hoping for some kind of reaction that hadn’t happened just yet.
A twisted smile pulled at the corners of her dark lips as she reached for the drink that sat before her. She took a hearty sip and then sat it back down, her hand still curled around the elegant stem as she waited for a reply. Her dark eyes focuses intently on the blonde.

Lara had just said that she could steal or introduce stuff, but she hadn't said anything about killing, also she wasn't going to kill Commissioner Gordon, Lara respected the man, one of the few good men in the city "I don't kill, but I do know how to put someone to sleep" she nodded "Even for a long time" Lara had studied this kind of stuff when she joined the Army. Anesthesia was her specialty so if Sofia needed to put Gordon to sleep instead of killing him then Lara could try to do it if it meant saving him.
Lara noticed that Sofia was getting very upset, especially when Lara didn't show any kind of reaction. The blonde here had to stop a mocking smile that just wanted to show up. The Army trained her and surely they taught her how to have cold blood in situations like this one. Also, seeing that Sofia got upset everytime was like an incentive to not show anything.
Although, Sofia could get angry and that wasn't okay. Lara did not want to deal with an angry Sofia Falcone. It was better if Lara showed something then "I'd prefer..." she sighed looking down at her hands "...I don't kill. I don't want to kill Commissioner Gordon" it was true that Sofia didn't specify the Commissioner, but he was the Commissioner of Gotham City and so Lara thought it was him "This isn't enough, you have to put on a little show" the blonde thought, but she couldn't be so obvious either "Please" Lara put both of her hands on the table and looked at Sofia "Don't ask me..." the blonde's voice shivered "...to kill..." she let out a sigh "...Please" and she used a begging tone at the end. However, she was really worried about this because she really did not want to kill.
