Tim swallowed the last bite of his sandwich as Alfred grabbed his plate off of the counter. Tim smiled up at the butler, who had become more of family than a butler.
"Thanks for the sandwich, Alf! I'll be in the cave. I've got a case to catch up on." The teen said as he walked out of the room. Tim made his way through the large manor, and into the study. He reached his arm out the large grandfather clock, and opened the glass case. He turned the black hands of the clock until the they reached 10:47. The time Bruce's parents died.
The clock slid away from the wall, and the hands spun back to the current time. Tim walked through the secret entrance and into the large, cold cave. He walked down the long stone stairs and towards the Batcomputer. Tim threw himself into the leather chair and logged into the Batcomputer.
The teen pulled up 11 murder cases. 11 murders in the last three weeks tied to this "Red Hood" character. Atleast there were 11 murders Tim actually knew about. Rapists, murderers, mafia, drug traffickers, the worst of the worst were being murdered by some guy in a red helmet and a leather jacket. Tim didn't think the world would necessarily miss these people, but killing was still wrong, whether you were a criminal, or a vigilante killing criminals. Tim looked through the rest of the information on the cases.
Apparently one of the people that had been murdered had a brother/partner that had escaped Red Hood. Tim thought to himself. He read the address and name of the brother. Tim smiled to himself. Lets give this Paul Smith a visit Tim stood up and walked over to his costume case, pulled his suit out, and put it on. He walked over to his motorcycle, put it on, and walked over to his motorcycle. Tim hopped on, and drove out of the cave towards Paul Smith’s apartment.
Robin opened the window of the dark apartment. He stepped in. The apartment was worryingly quiet. But Tim knew that the partner was home. Robin tapped a button on his gauntlet, turning on the night vision in his mask. He made his way through the apartment in the shadows. Tim walked into the living room, and scanned the corners. Suddenly, the partner appeared from behind a window curtain, pointing a gun at the teen.
“Stay away from me! You won’t kill me like you killed James (OOC: James is Paul’s Brother/Partner, if you couldn’t infer from context )!” Paul screamed. Tim threw a wind-ding, knocking the gun out of the thug’s hand. Tim stepped out of the shadows.
“I didn’t kill him. But, I need information on who did, and I know you have it.” Robin said. “Who is the Red Hood? What do you know about him?”
“I-I don’t know who he is.” The man was shivering. His eyes were bloodshot, and he looked like he hadn’t slept for a week. “He was tall… Muscular… I don’t know. I couldn’t see his face. He killed my brother, and he didn’t even give it a second thought. I-I heard him yell as I escaped… He yelled that he was coming for me. Please help. I-I” The man started sobbing. “I don’t know what to do. Please help me… Please.”
Tim started to think about this. Who is Red Hood? Why is he doing this? Tim had a sudden realization.
If this Red Hood is as good as he seems to be, he would’ve gotten Paul by now… He must be waiting for something… or someone. This man could have more information, even if I'm just being paranoid, I have to take every precaution. Tim looked up at the criminal.
“Get away from the window, now!”
