Snow blew around the gang as they all sat in cover, being trash bins, wooden crates, and steel barrels. An ambush was set up to remove an enemy gang from the gang. Jason sat, crouched behind a trash bin, both guns in hand, his red helmet keeping his face warm in the cold winter wind. A deal was going down, the gang waiting to ambush the other after the deal was made. It was Jason’s idea after all. Buy the drugs, keep them away from the kids. Control the trade, and remove the competition. All part of his plan. He had been doing this for weeks now, one gang after another. If Gotham was ripe with one thing, it was gangs. And one of the biggest things they fought over: Drugs. Drugs or weapons. Both of which needed better control. That is why I am doing this. Control. So, he, along with several other men waited in hiding as two others stood at the meeting point. It was getting darker, later. The snow was picking up just enough to make long distances difficult. Difficult for the others, probably. It was almost time for the deal to go down. Fifteen minutes later, five figures came through the snow, two of them carrying duffel bags, the others with rifles. They don’t trust us. Smart. Good thing we are taking them out now, and not later. The figures stopped, and the deal started. They spoke quietly, Jason barely able to hear them, even with his helmet. The product was being tested, then the money handed over. That was the time to strike. They began to turn around, walk away. The two guys ran back with the duffel bags as Jason stood, and opened up with his pistols. Gunfire rang through the alley and down the street. A normal sound for East Gotham, but someone was going to show up. Eventually. The snow wasn’t helping with the aim. Jason couldn’t tell how many more guys there were besides the ones from the deal. He fired his guns, the casings falling to the ground with light, hollow tings. The bullets tore into the first could gangsters, hitting them in the middle of the chests. Disabled lungs, a hard time breathing. A fun death. I am going to enjoy this night. He continued to fire, dropping more bodies as the guys around him fell.

"Outsiders come in. Reply if you are getting this message. I'm getting contacts on multiple gun fire in the East end of Gotham...no surprise there. I've got word from the street this is a gang war going on. Suspect leading rival gang in Gotham is unknown. I'm in the West end currently. Meet in East end as soon as you can. I going to intervene regardless if I heard back from any of you. Nightwing out," Nightwing's voice gave life to the comm links between the few members on the Outsiders.
He could only guess he'd hear back from either Arsenal or Starfire first. Supergirl wasn't exactly a night hawk like that of Arsenal and himself.
Though the supers would prove a strength in a gun fight. Especially considering Supergirl could be hurt by bullets.
Nightwing had taken the chance to step up and cover the West end the early evening shift of night patrol. Though not keeping in might that Tim or Bruce probably would be heading that way early this night.
Now with this war out break in the East, his attention was being diverted for the night. Not exactly a great start to the night to hear of a war in your old stomping grounds. In Gotham gang wars were more series verses those that took place in Bludhaven. Sure they were serious, but in Gotham most gangs were out for blood and territory. And this compared to Bludhaven where recruiting rival gang members was seen as backing a win.
Nightwing would be more than half to the East as he left the line open for further communication to the Outsiders. He wanted to get there as soon as he could. They needed to try and prevent as many causalities as they could to prevents both sides from possibly eliminating both sides in this war.

These were the nights when one asked why were they in Gotham? When the snow and sleet blew outside, blizzards. Ew. Not that a certain former Speedy didn’t enjoy a snow angel here or there… But, it could certainly get the mind trying to wander to hotter climates… A beach. A tiny umbrella… A view, quite a view…. It of course wash’t much of a day dream, because the second he could begin to feel his muscles relax, he ached to get on the field. That was why he was here in Gotham. Batman just wasn’t enough sometimes, suppose it goes without asking, is anyone enough? It was rather as the world kept turning, the crime kept turning. Good with the bad, so they say… Of course the good would never stop… Thus Arsenal had arrived early, quite early at he Bunker. Gigs were fewer with this weather and well if he wasn’t ‘working’… He was here, getting in a work out. Breaking several sweats, before hitting a shower quickly and dressed in his suit. Red head to toe. With the wintery weather, his suit had the addition of sleeves and a hood. Much to his delight, but it was more beneficial in the snow than a cap… Though, the fact that Oliver was somewhere scowling, was certainly a possible perk. After all, Roy always had the better suits. With hood down for now and mask on. Arsenal had taken his seat before the lump of technology that was his computer system, it was like Cyborg only bigger and slightly less annoying in its vocabulary, but still just as friendly. Least when one knew how to use it. There was been a couple things across the city that the group had its eyes on, most were nothing, but crumbs and easy police business… There was a little noise Arsenal caught wind of from the other side of the country, he someone in the know looking into it… Hmmm, the East side. As it popped up on a couple of screens. If anything was going to happen it was probably going to happen or be connected in the East side. Though the rather alarming thing was the rising noise of gang violence and more importantly the rising death toll, the past couple of weeks. With so many gangs in Gotham. Fights. Trades and so on wasn’t particularly uncommon, but it was garnering Outsiders attention…
Somewhere deeper in the Bunker, were the echoing sounds of impact. As if someone or more likely something had been rammed into by a 18 wheeler, hmmm no that didn’t exactly sound enough. Arsenal could make out coming from the training room, where at least one other Outsider was. Starfire… As Arsenal zoomed in with his TVS. Which, with the snowy weather wasn’t the clearest pictures. Some cameras were frozen, but with the ones he had replaced… Were, more reliable. As a camera focusing, now shifted to the left as it detected movement… Hmmm, heres a wild guess. Its not Oscar the grouch? As Arsenal, could be called childish, but he wasn’t born yesterday. Although in this city perhaps, there were high chances of some mutant giant rat, but hmmm… Didn’t seem all the rats were entirely good at hiding. So it didn’t take much to get the hunch of what was happening. Minutes. Hour. Soon, a gang came into the nearby picture and out popped a couple of rats. Goons. Goons… Or supposedly fancy hooded goons. Still goons, there was little debate. Why couldn’t they settle their problems over a safely played game of fish. Or even snap, if they were into a little violence… On, the flip side, if you can call it that. Gave them a target. It was notable that the area seemed mostly filled with gang members. Suppose the east wasn’t much for the crowded mall feel, especially in this weather… So far it seemed your average gang trade, not that was overly a good thing, but no attack… Though, of course… Just the men had approached and then soon turned. To leave. Were then ambushed… Arsenal didn’t know drugs as he knew alcohol, but it seemed to him it was more than simply about the drugs. Then again, Arsenal didn’t care to greatly to sit and try to understand goons. Let alone a gang of them. This was time to act now. Sure there was a difference saving a goon from another goon, than saving someone completely innocent, but who was Arsenal to exactly judge. Beside seeing a goon rot in prison, just sort of had a better image in his brain. Pushing back from the seat and stood to his feet. Zipping the last bit at the front of his suit. As he looked lastly at the screens. Making note of the surrounding conditions. The weather. The sleet and snow, was clearly giving some effect to the war that was going on. Noting some gun shots that were exactly aimed perfectly. Some even missing. Some were, well average, but there a few that were of high skill. Even if the aiming was a little off, the hit rate was higher than most. Lastly making a good note of the surrounding entries. Exits. The buildings. Every possible advantage. Before, running it all through the data in his mask and also logging into the cameras. Pulled over his red hood and tapped into calling the outsiders. Well, at least maybe Supergirl, if she was not nearby. Before, Nightwing intercepted… Sure, he could ask who exactly was taking what from who, but there were more pressing matters. Least for now…
~Yes, it appears to be more than a drug trade gone bad… A camera off of 77th street, was able to feed the footage… Sending feed over and coordinates… I request grouping on the 5th building to the south of the area. That appears to be the clearest entry… With the weather conditions down there, we should act with caution and use it at our advantage… Leaving the nest now! We’ll be there shortly, Nightwing. Arsenal, Out!~
You ever hear Ollie with his fancy little voice changer on. Arsenal, may have something to do with that or took note. Made improvements. As Arsenal responded through his comm link, his voice vastly altered. It was much deeper that was for sure, but it help disguise it. Outsiders comms were very hard to tap into, but one could never be to cautious about it. As Arsenal relaid as much information that was potentially helpful. Though strongly asked for a grouping. As an exact number of gang members wasn’t entirely clear. Between the weather and the chaos that was happening. It didn’t appear there be any snipers, not that Arsenal could pick up, but the location Arsenal pointed towards, was perhaps the best starting point. As they say the more ducks you have in a row, ok that was a weird saying and oddly fitting. Somehow… Of course there was no stopping Nightwing if he did get there first and a quick intervention was needed. He would know, but otherwise. Having more numbers on your side, was preferred. Leaving it cut and dry at the end, but clear. As he tapped into his mask and linked it to Nightwing. How? Technology… Arsenal could be smart and usually stealthy. As he turned. Not fully realising someone was behind him…

Suddenly Evangelina's radio crackles to life, reporting gunshots in east Gotham. Well, what else is new? Why not remind everyone that the sky is blue? Unfortunately, the location is near where Evangelina is, so she sighs as she flips on the siren and lights of her patrol car starts to head that way. Why can't these things happen when she's off duty? Especially when the dispatcher goes on to know that there's not just gunfire, but lots of it. Another gang war, perhaps? That or a rogue. Hopefully it's just a gang war.
"Copy that, en-route," she says into the radio, "Sounds like I'll want backup." In fact, if nobody else says that they're en-route, she's going to refuse to go all of the way until that changes. While she'd be quite happy to charge into a fistfight or even a knife-fight, call her a coward but she's more hesitant about getting into a gun battle. She definitely didn't get this job so that she could risk her life, after all.
Fortunately, she's not the only one to respond, or even the closest. Well, that's a relief! In fact, she doesn't get very far before first one then another police car comes into view, also with their lights on and headed in the same direction. Right, then! Now she's starting to feel more comfortable about this. Hopefully everyone trying to put holes into each other hears the approaching sirens and decide that they don't want to risk jail time. It won't be long before they arrive.

Supergirl may not be as much of a night life hero like the others, but she could still keep up with them. Kara had taken the extra time tonight to come in and help with anything that needed helping with. When it came to Nightwing...that was a pure solo act most of the time on missions handed off to him.
Starfire tended to be more of a day hero as well, but was quick to action in a call like this.
And Arsenal...he was always running the place. He seemed to always be at the bunker when needed.
As for Supergirl, she was just spending some time playing around with the upgrades made to the training dome. It was rather fun in there. Almost seemed real...almost.
Kara got the call on the link she kept with her from the Outsiders. Though Arsenal may not have seen her come in that night to do some extra training, she knew he was there. And his voice followed that of Nightwings. Kara disregarded the need to responded to Nightwing's call.
Kara was already suited up and stopped the demo mode she was toying around with. She flew out of the dome and headed toward main hall. Then she spotted Arsenal.
At the sound of his voice. Boy, he was on top of things tonight.
She had been flying over towards him and responded,"I'm always ready to fly! What about you?"
She crossed her arms and gave him a smug look. It was great to have super powers. She could go any where any time without worrying about technical problems. She could offer to fly him if he wants.

The tamaranean princess had quick dash back from New York this morning. It was a rather eventful evening to say the least and it ran in the early hours in the morning. So it was convenient to stay at the tower and have a nice little power nap. Followed by a few moments of sunshine that had broken through the wintery weather. It was just enough to recharge and revive Starfire. Before she had taken the trip back towards Bludhaven. Because no doubt there would be jobs to do around the house. That and pay some bills, someone had too. With no modelling job this week, she was finding herself with that little extra time… Flying through the icy sky was certainly not ideal, especially with the slightly jaded and foggy over lay. It could cause a tree or a bird to be a little harder to see, but Starfire still managed. Only brushed a couple of leaves. Here and there… Oh, and skimmed a pelican. Eventually she had returned to her apartment, safely without any major hiccups. Arrive in time to wake the sleepy bird and send him off with a nicely packed lunch… She may have slipped in a few treats… Before she got down to doing the house work. Yes, even heroes have to do laundry. She really found it quite nice, although if humans saw clothes like a tamaranean, it would make it a lot easier and them a lot happier. You can’t put past a sensual smell of clean clothes, well Starfire could think of something better, but that was another thing entirely. Later folding and neatly putting clothes away. Cleaning the kitchen. Bathroom. Getting all the little spots and even polished a photo frame. When Starfire was done, she put on a clean Starfire suit and left her apartment.
Leaving from her balcony and flew out of Bludhaven. Only to take a short trip, before arriving in the East part of Gotham City. Making her swift way to the Outsiders Bunker. It was a couple hours before night, the sun what was of it, was closer to setting. So of course the natural thing for the tamaranean to do when she arrived was to head to the training room. One of them at least. Whilst she was generally in peak condition and did not train like most of the other outsiders. She still found her own way. Sparring was always most enjoyable and helpful. Helping to keep her warrior reflexes engaged. She was trained to always be ready whether she had the use of her powers or not. She could always fight. Moving on from the sparring, rather than to move to lift weights or jump on the machines. Many of them didn’t little to even tickle her, but the punchbags were always handy. Built in to handle her kind of strength, of course she still restrained a little. Control, as Nightwing would say, right? Well, mostly controlled. It was certainly enjoyable to hit something, that she didn’t have to be concerned she’d kill it. As the sounds mostly like echoed and rather rattled the room ever so slightly, but be silent from the world outside the bunker. The slightest trickle of moisture came to her forehead, but her energy burned that off just as quick as it came… It wasn’t until the beep of her communication device from a gem on left wrist band, that she became aware of the time now. Before hearing the voice of her beloved coming from the glowing red gem. Sounded like she might be able to put this training to use sooner than later. It certainly sparked something in her mind at the mention of war. As soon as Nightwing’s voice stopped. Starfire didn’t linger. There be no time as from Nightwing said. This was needing urgent attention and Nightwing was never wrong. Leaving the punching bag behind as it swayed somewhere behind her as Starfire left the room and entered into the main headquarters. Finding Arsenal and Supergirl not far behind. Catching some of the last words Arsenal spoke of Nightwing. She needn’t hear it all to know Arsenal was tracking this, with a glance to the tv screens. A brightly smile came to her lips at his question, directly mostly to Supergirl, perhaps a little to both. As she stopped shortly near them.
”I was born ready! Is that new?“
Starfire honourably replied, though not over confidently. Whether it was in response to flying or ready for battle. She was ready for both. Flying was easy and her muscles ached to be used. Even her golden hands tickled at the swirl of energy underneath the surface. Perhaps there be lesser need of full force, but she least stood a good chance against the gun fire… With simple smile to them both and her bright green eyes looked between them both. As Arsenal spoke something to Supergirl, maybe even kissed a hand. The natural thing for him to do right? Starfire then turned as, it seemed Supergirl would be carrying Arsenal tonight. As she motioned to one of the entrance to eventually take flight, Starfire did glance briefly back to Arsenal, as she asked about the hood… She wasn’t here that often as the rest, so she may have missed that unveiling. Arsenal was always keen to show off his gear. His weapons. Well, most of them. As Starfire turned her glance back and her fiery red hair flickered as she moved. Causing a trail of fire and smoke.

Jason was still in cover, gun shots hitting the crates and barrels around him. "You guys have worse aim than troopers!" He yelled, thenlet out a small laugh, loving every second of this fighting. I always missed the loving embrace of a Gotham gunfight. He reloaded his gun, listened for a break in the gunfire, then stood up, once more taking shots at the many guys still there shooting at him. He crouched back down, trying to see if any of his guys were still left, having not heard any shots coming from behind him in a while. A quick glance left and right confirmed his assumptions. I am the only one left. Another smile formed on his face then, as well as a newfound energy. Haha! More for me then. He peered over the cover, and saw the back of a couple heads, just barely concealed by the cover they hid behind. "Peekaboo." He said, launching himself over the crates, breaking into a sprint over to one set of cover cowards, whilst shooting at another. He leaped over the barrier, kicking one guy in the back of the head while doing so. The other one stood, moving his rifle's aim towards the red helmeted warrior. " Big mistake." He said, readying his aim. Jason perked right up, catching the barrel of the rifle while grabbing the grip, forcing the butt of the gun into the guys chest, pulling down in the barrel causing the butt to hit his face, then yanked the rifle from his unconscious grip, turning to shoot the guy he had just kicked. "I'll take that" he said, then began to move up over to some of the other guys. That was when he heard sirens. Not far out, but still a couple more minutes away. A couple minutes of carnage. He leaned out from cover, spotting his next target, then, out of the corner of his eye, saw some familiar movement. Well, look who we have here...
