Another sleepless night. How much could Lara handle? She fell asleep in the middle of a class at the university the other day. It was true that she was trained and all that stuff, but she wasn't a superwoman, everybody needed their sleep, soldier or not. Anyway, here she was a sleepy Lara at the bank with a shopping list, so to speak. She had to find some bank accounts correlated with some creminals, especially the Joker.
Enter hadn't been so difficult because the General gave her access codes. It was really late at night and nobody was in the bank and that was fine because nobody had to see her. Lara entered in the bank's chief office, Mark told Lara that the chief had some names accounts in his safe, the ones Lara needed of course. The woman, dressed like Faith from Mirror's Edge with black wig and everything, tried to open the safe with a tool that the lab guys gave to her. Lara remembered the guys' words about how that tool was simple to use, she just had to place it on the safe and wait. What could go wrong?
Lara placed it and pushed the start button, a green light appeared after few seconds saying that it was downloading data and a countdown started. Lara rose a brow, a yellow one because she hadn't had the time to paint it black, Lara didn't know exactly how that tool worked. This was supposed to be a calm job with no troubles. It was supposed to be, but it wasn't. Lara heard some noises coming from the entrance like footsteps. She rolled her eyes saying to herself that something had to go wrong for sure and something about coincidences.
"Hey, the boss said that it is in the office's safe" she closed the office's door with her inside and the footsteps were near the door now. Lara looked around and saw the air duct. Quickly, she crouched near it and put her hands on the grill, she knew how to open it, but she was a little nervous because of the voices behind the door "Okay, let's open this up" said one of the Joker's henchmen "Think of the grill and not the fact that there is only a door that separates you from them" Lara frowned "The grill, only the grill...open...c'mon...yes!" Lara's thoughts were granted and she went inside the air duct putting the air duct into place after, it was only endorsed so it could fell down any minute.
In the urgency, she forgot about the safe's tool, that came to her mind only when Lara was in the air duct "I have to gain their attention, they must not enter in the office or the tool will be seen" the woman closed her eyes with a sigh, she had to draw their attention away from the office and the police was out of option until the tool was there. Lara came out from the air duct, she could see the henchmen above in front of the office. Lara tried to make some noise "Hey! What was that...?! Go to check, we try to open the door" damn. Lara had to knock them down.

Garfield was out patrolling Gotham as he had the other titans to keep an eye on his own town; and they could call him if they needed him. So he was prowling the city in the form of a large green owl as he soared high in the sky; passing by the moon and casting a shadow over the streets every so often. But then he saw a sight he shouldn't; and that was a pair of people dressed up as clowns who were going into a bank. Now he had to stop this; and only two henchmen wouldn't be any big trouble.
So in that moment Garfield swooped down and shifted to a snake form the moment he landed on the ground. This allowed him to follow the men into the bank silently. He then heard the men speaking about going into another room to investigate a noise. So instead Garfield decided to slither across a desk and knocked over a picture that was near the edge; to cause the sound of shattering glass to be heard. At which point he returned to his normal form, "Stop where you are evil doers! I am here to bring you to justice!" Now Garfield didn't expect them to stop; but he was going to have fun with this if he could.

Lara was moving silently towards the henchmen when someone showed up with a hero saying of some sort. She had to stop and hid behind a column where she could watch the new arrival. She frowned...was he green or something? The two henchmen stopped what they were doing and looked at the green guy "Who are you...?!" said one "Bats...living green things...then what?!" said the other one who called for backup pushing a button on his jacket "Perfect" Lara mumbled sarcastically in a silent whisper. It wasn't the green guy's fault, these henchmen always called for backup if there was one. Lara moved again and moving she passed near a door that led outside, from the door she heard the other henchmen. They were just waiting outside complaining when they received the call "C'mon! Something is up!" Lara heard their voices outside the door and then their footsteps coming near.
Lara crouched and went up the stairs moving away from the door, the two other henchmen were too focused on the green guy to notice anything else "Let's make some green jelly!" they started shooting at the green guy, Lara couldn't see it, but she could hear the noise of the shooting "Clown henchmen, clownish irony" Lara thought listening to what the henchman just said. The other ones just entered the bank and start running towards the other two henchmen "Perfect...with a shooting ongoing the police will arrive soon" she shook her head and looked at the office door, she had to take the tool back before the coming of the police, but she couldn't go even near there because the henchmen were all there. Lara looked at the green guy to see if he was okay then she grabbed the taser and pointed it towards one of the henchmen, the closest one. She was ready to shoot if she had to, but she'd prefer stay unnoticed because it would have been easier to take the too that way.

When the henchmen first started to speak to Garfield he smirked and began to stroll to the side of the desk. "Who am I? Who am I?! I am the mighty Beast Boy! And I am here to stop you two clowns." But then they called for backup and the green skinned man rolled his eyes a bit as he shifted into the form of a squirrel and began to hop around the floor until he got close to the clowns.
The comment about them making Jelly would have gotten a witty response back; but in his animalistic form Garfield could not really speak. But instead he hopped onto one of the men with a gun; and began to climb over his body to try and get him to shoot away from himself; or to stop his friends from shooting. But after a few seconds he shifted back to normal so that he was holding the man from behind. "You guys surrender and I won't have to hurt any of you."

"Doesn't ke know henchmen at all?" Lara rose a brow watching him deal with them. Lara frowned and took her camera recording when he saw the guy trasforming in some animals, that was interesting, something to show to Mark...it was strange too, but hey, the world was filled with people who had awesome talents. Filmed, she closed the camera and crouched again trying to go into the office. Meanwhile the henchmen looked at eachother and then started shooting again at the green guy, not caring at all about their co-worker. They were more intimidated about their boss than the loss of one of them...and the Joker had been very clear about this night: take the safe's contents at any cost.
The safe was one of the most secure on the market, so it would have been difficult to open it, but the army knew its own toys and so they had the right tool...the same tool that Lara had to take back. The countdown was...Lara looked at the camera's watch...mh...almost at half. The army woman hid herself behind a corner, the group was still near the office, she had to find a way to move them away.

When the clowns began to shoot at their fellow criminal Garfield was a bit shocked. He thought they would have at least hesitated a bit longer before opening fire. And to avoid being shot the green skinned man quickly shifted into an army of ants; which rushed at the clowns and began crawling all over them in order to try and get them to at very least waste the last of their ammo and distract them long enough for the police to show up. Yet as he did this he began to think a bit more and had the bugs rejoin together only to gather in one of the vents near the room Lara was hiding in where they reformed and Garfield returned to his normal form once more. He had to think of some way to stop them; and so far he was running out of ideas. "You guys still want to fight?! Put down the guns now!"

Lara frowned watching what the green guy was doing...wow! However, she had to enter...in the room that the green guy just entered in. Perfect. The henchmen stopped shooting and looked at each other "Where is he gone...?!" said one "Don't know! C'mon! Work to do!" they returned to the door trying to open it.
Lara shook her head with a sigh...what could she do now? Nothing. Going towards the henchmen meant sure death. They just shot their co-henchman...Joker must have frightened them very well. Seemed that the clown wanted those bank accounts very badly.
However, Lara couldn't go towards the room and the countdown was finished by now. She had to take the tool "If he takes it first..." she thought about the green guy that was already in the room. The henchmen opened the door "That's it...I have no time left!" thinking this Lara shot one of them with the teser gun, the hit henchman fell down. The others moved around searching for the person who shot it.
