Summer loved going to these themed-events. Not only were they for a good cause, but it gave her an excuse to swipe her Gotham Live Studios credit card for a new pair of Jimmy Choo’s and designer dress that cost more than her rent quadrupled. All proceeds of the evening were to go toward one of the local orphanages – and who happened to be heading the event? Well, she was on his arm. Summer and Bruce had been long-term friends since her first year in Gotham. As a hopeful intern and student, she had attempted to sneak into Wayne Enterprises in hopes of uncovering some dark, brooding secrets. Of course, what she discovered was a good-looking billionaire and the start of a mutual-friendship. As cameras flashed, she smiled and waved in the directions after ensuring that she looked poised in all angles. Despite the masquerade theme, her mask left little to the imagination. It delicately framed her face, complimented her desire dress and still displayed her assets. Sending her white smile in the direction of the press member that had most recently called her name; she spoke to Bruce through her teeth. “It’s kind of weird being on this side of things.” She commented. While Summer was often invited to such events, she was obligated to do her job before she took part in the glamour of the evening. This evening, however, her partner would be forced to take on the duties of covering this event…alone. She smiled even wider just thinking about it. “You look great by the way, but I am sure you knew that.” She sent a playful wink in her dear friend’s direction. Summer could only imagine the comments that would be mentioned the next day in regards to this event. The ravishing redhead tossed her scarlet curls over her exposed shoulder before sending another natural, white smile in the direction of the flashing cameras. Stuck into another formal event where Bruce would almost have to beat the aristocrats off with a stick. All slithering to his physical being to suck on the money and power teet. He'd almost prefer sitting in the batcave watching youtube videos, or catching up on American Horror Story. But this wasn't about him, it was about Summer. A very driven, confident young woman. Unlike most women Bruce came across, he felt zero sexual tension from her behalf. Although in the place of that, he felt an aura of mystery and suspicion. A lot of secrets were kept locked behind the doors of Wayne Enterprises. A lot of secrets someone like summer would love to get their hands on. Similar to a young kid taking his dads corvette on a drive when hes out of town.
The limo stopped and they both stepped out. Bruce allowed Summer to take his arm as they slow ascended into the party. Summer spoke to him about not being on this side of it
"Well.. You never get used to it.." Bruce said as they continued walking.
He could tell summer enjoyed it. The fame is nice for those not used to it. He even think that she complimented him, but he wasnt sure, all he could think about was the cameras.
Lots of flashing lights from cameras, Bruce hated it. The split second of blindness, the damage to vision, to hell with all these guys. Bruce reached into his pocket where he kept a miniature electronic malfunction device, and hit the switch. Suddenly all the flashes stopped. The reporters fidgeted with their cameras to figure out why. Bruce let out a faint laugh to himself as they continued to walk.

Her bright green eyes had easily adjusted to the sudden, blinding flashes from the mob of cameras. She attempted to make out her own studio in the mass of press, though the snapping cameras made recognizing a face to be nearly impossible. While she enjoyed the attention and acted in both a subtle but charming matter toward it, she could tell that Bruce didn’t seem to love it as much as she did. On his arm, she gave him a small squeeze in order to let him know that she could notice. “I can imagine. It’s fun for now, but I think I will stick with reporting the news rather than starring in it.” With a small giggle, her usually quick pace was slowed as she accompanied the famous billionaire into the event. With her own career blossoming and a trail of recent events haunting her little free time, she couldn’t remember the last time she had gotten together with Bruce. While she considered him a good friend who had helped boost her carrier and assisted her many times in the past, her newfound alliances seemed to soak up most of her time. Almost as soon as the bright flashes from the cameras had started the second that the couple made an appearance, within an instant they all seemed to halt at once. Summer instantly turned her attention from Bruce to the noise of reporters all attempting to fix their equipment. “What just happened?” The ravishing redhead asked with complete confusion, a perplexed look playing on her pretty features. Turning back to Bruce she looked upward to see if he had an answer, trying to find one in his face as if she could read him. His small laugh made her smile, relieved to see him happy. As they continued inside, the skirt of her designer dress bellowed behind her as she walked. “Thanks so much for inviting me. I’ve never been to a masquerade before, though I don’t feel as though my mask hides who I am very well. Hopefully well enough to hide me from any ex-boyfriends that might be attending.” Summer is wearing: click for outfit & hair
