Jason exhaled as he slammed into the roof of the 3 story building and recovered from his fall with a front roll leading into a cartwheel. He landed in a fighting stance. Red Hood lifted a pistol off of each of his thigh holsters. He pointed the guns in front of him and fired. The large creature in front of him dodged quickly out of the way. It moved around him in a brown blur.
"Don't make this hard on yourself, Langstrom. Quit running and maybe I can make this whole escapade less painless for you." Jason hissed at the large, brown bat moving around him. Jason exclaimed in pain as Man-Bat left a large gash in Jason's chest. In a fit of rage Jason threw three homing concussion birdarangs in the air. The small objects exploded around the large bat, stunning him.
"Should've taken the easy way." Jason said as he ran Man-Bat. He pulled two knives out of sheaths on his hip and cut at the giant creature. The two battled for a minute, before Jason delivered the finishing blow and stabbed Man-Bat in the chest. The giant creature began to shrink and take the shape of a man again. Langstrom wasn't dead. Something Jason had learned from fighting the villain so many times, was that he didn't die as Langstrom if you killed Man-Bat. The ninteen year old wrapped the pale, naked man in a steel fiber cord and dropped him off on the street corner.
Jason breathed a sigh of relief that the battle was over and grappled onto the roof of the nearest building. He sprinted across the rooftops in an attempt to clear his head. After running for about five minutes, something caught his attention. He stopped dead in his tracks and examined the woman in front of him, who's back was facing him. He raised his eyebrow, smirked, and lifted off his helmet, revealing the red domino mask he was wearing. The woman was wearing black fishnets, black boots, a black leather jacket, and a black leather unitard. Her hair was a bright blonde, and she stood with her hands on her hips. She had to be a year older than Jason at most. Jason took a step closer and opened his mouth to speak.
"Well, hello beautiful..."
