It was a bit chilly on the top of the building, and Summer was starting to wish that she had grabbed the jacket out of her office before climbing up the numerous flights of stairs with her overweight camera man lumbering behind her with the equipment. With a hand placed on the back of her skirt, she hoped he wasn’t attempting to look up her dress and found herself frequently turning around to tell him to hurry it up. A smirk illuminated her features as they reached their destination, the top of Gotham Live building, which rivaled the size of the building surrounding it. It was the perfect place for her little plan of luring the Batman and at least get some footage. In order to do so, Summer intended on putting herself in a perilous position by taking center stage as the damsel in distress, seeing as she did it so well. She reached the top much quicker than her camera man and hugged herself in attempts to warm herself. Taking a brief moment to survey the area, she waited impatiently for her camera man to join her. “About time” She muttered under her breath, watching as he unceremoniously tossed several bags onto the ground. “Hey! Watch it; there is some valuable equipment in there! Okay, now tie me up.” Summer instructed, willingly putting her wrists behind her back as she sat down on an elevated piece of cement, crossing her legs. A little too willingly, her camera man opened the duffle bag that contained a large quantity of ropes and various other materials. “Are you sure your brought enough stuff, goodness, it looks like you robbed a hardware store.” Taking note of the various wires, ropes and tape, and smirk on his face she was almost beginning to think that he had been waiting for this moment for a long time. Summer crossed her legs and waited as he restrained her wrists, legs and ankles with various lengths of thin rope. As he reached for the tape, her eyes widened. “Alright! No, that’s good, that’s enough. “ The redhead struggled against her bonds and found then unyieldingly tight. “Could have made it a little more comfortable, but whatever. Get the camera set up and find somewhere to hide, then I can start screaming.” Trying to get somewhat comfortable amongst the tight restraining ropes, her expression went from excited to annoyed the moment she heard a low ‘uh-oh’ from her camera man, who had carelessly forgotten the film on the first floor of the massive building. “Are you kidding me? Ughh! I have to do everything!” Before she could say anything else, he was hurrying toward the roof’s exit, “I’ll go get it Miss Gleeson, no worries!” He grumbled, reluctantly dropping the duct tape at her feet. “Wait!! No!” She squealed. “You can’t just leave me up here like this?” What are you doing? Come back and untie me!” However, it was much too late; the young reporter was left bound and alone on the dark, lonely rooftop. Swallowing, Summer struggled full force against the ropes, swearing she could make out figures in the shadows. notes: thanks for letting me revive this thread, It will be fun to see it with a different approach! outfit: click

Spoiler sat perched precariously on a gargoyle on Wayne Enterprises building. She had her mouth covered pulled down, completely revealing her face. She munched on a bag of buttery popcorn she had gotten from a street vendor down below her current position. The smell of the popcorn wafted through the air. The smell was so strong it could be smelled for blocks. Stephanie was glad her suit was insulated, it was a pretty cold night. She looked up at the full moon. It reflected off of her dark purple skinsuit, which seemed almost spray painted on. Spoiler pretended to crush the moon with her fingers. It had been a slow night crime wise, and she was extremely bored.
Stephanie threw the last piece of popcorn in her mouth. She crumpled the red and white bag in her hand, juggling it to pass the time. She eventually got bored with even that activity and decided to do something a little... riskier. She chucked the bag in the air. She could her the sound off the air wizzing around the crumpled bag. She back-flipped off of the gargoyle. Her purple cape flowed with the wind as she fell. At the last second, Stephanie grabbed the open mouth of the gargoyle, holding on tightly. Spoiler caught the crumpled bag as it fell through the air beside her. She chuckled to herself, and threw the ball in the air a couple more times, catching it each time. Stephanie chucked it one more time, as hard as she could. She watched it fly through the air, caught it, and then turned to look behind her. Stephanie turned just in time to see a seagull slam into her head.
Stephanie fell through the air. She struggled to grab her grapnel gun out of her utility belt. She pulled it out, and was about to launch it. Spoiler launched the grapnel, but she was falling too fast. As the grapnel lodged itself in the building, Stephanie's hand slipped off the launcher and she was falling again. She fell and fell, before she landed in an open dumpster. She laid in the dumpster for a second, trying to regain her breath. Spoiler cursed herself under her breath, and winced as she stood up and climbed out off the dumpster. She was going to have some serious bruises, and she was going to be wicked sore in the morning, but there was going to be no lasting damage. Stephanie decided to call it a night. She would patrol one more time, and then go back home for a few hours of sleep.
Spoiler ran across the rooftops looking for crime. She found a few muggings, and stopped them, but there was nothing too out of the ordinary. She was about to turn in for the night, when Stephanie heard yelling from nearby.
“You can’t just leave me up here like this?” What are you doing? Come back and untie me!”
Stephanie pulled out her binoculars and searched the area. Nothing out of the ordinary. She ran towards the direction of the yell. Her jaw dropped as she saw a young woman, tied to the top of the Gotham Live building. She glided over to the roof, landing silently. She scanned the area around her, looking for a potential threat. Spoiler walked over to the young woman and began searching her for possible injuries. Her jaw dropped and her eyes widened as she recognized the young woman. It was Summer Gleeson.
"Are you okay, Ma'm?"

"Are you serious? Come back this instant and get me out of this!” Summer squealed, wondering why he didn’t turn around the moment she started shrieking, after all, didn’t he know she controlled his future at this company? As much as she didn’t want to rely on the newest camera guy for one of her ‘grander’ schemes to lure the Batman, her favorite had the night off to play in his band at a local café. Summer much rather would have been there like she promised rather than sitting on the top of this chilly rooftop tightly restrained by the ropes. He had certainly came prepared, Summer assumed a few ropes from the hardware store might have sufficed but he had brought and entire duffle bag and several rolls of tape. Summer never agreed to tape. The redhead wasn’t easily scared and this was mostly a controlled situation in her eyes. After all, her camera man would be back in a matter of moments and then they could put her plan into action. She would be out of these tight, uncomfortable ropes within the course of the hour and hopefully have Batman on film to show for it. Biting her lip, she gasped at the sight of a moving shadow, only to realize it was simply her imagination getting the best of her. Summer struggled against her bonds in an attempt to free herself. It had been nearly ten minutes and he had not returned. Either he managed to get lost or something was up, but Summer was no longer eager to stay in this vulnerable position for long. She typically liked being the one in control of the situation, making others feel uncomfortable on the other side of her questioning. However, at this point she felt overall helpless. A voice sounded behind her, causing the bound reporter to jump slightly as she turned to see the masked figure behind her. From her frame and the sound of her voice alone Summer could tell that she wasn't very old, though she was parading around behind a mask in the middle of the night. "Of course not. Does it look like I am okay?" Summer snapped, but her expression softened when she realized that she was taking out her anger on the wrong source. "Let me guess, you are Catwoman and Batman's love child or something?" She said almost dryly, unsure of the woman's masked name. outfit: click

Stephanie scowled and stared into the woman's eyes.
"Does it look like I am okay?"
Stephanie looked at the ground awkwardly. Asking her is she was okay WAS a stupid question, but what else would Stephanie had said? Stephanie looked back up at the woman and studied her. She was obviously in distress. Stephanie didn't blame her. She wouldn't want to be tied to a roof either. Spoiler's eyes widened as she realized who the woman was. The red hair, the shape of her face. She was Summer Gleeson, Gotham news reporter, famous for investigating Batman and the other vigilantes of Gotham. Who would kidnap her?
"Let me guess, you are Catwoman and Batman's love child or something?"
Stephanie snapped out of her mind and back to the current situation as the woman spoke. Spoiler's eyes widened and her masked mouth frowned. That was not the image she needed in her head. She shuttered, before scowling at the woman again.
"1. No, 2. I didn't need that image in my head, and 3. Do you want me to untie you or not?" Stephanie said sarcastically. Spoiler walked closer and kneeled down next to Summer. He began to cut her ropes, before she realized something frightening. No criminal was around. Why would someone just leave their victim? Stephanie stopped cutting the ropes and stood up to look around. No one else was on the roof. So where were they? Spoiler turned around and looked at Summer.
"Who did this to you?"
notes: sorry it's so short, I have a bit of writers block.

A strand of hair fell across her disgruntled face, and the pretty redhead attempted to push it out of her face with a bit of difficulty seeing as her hands were bound behind her back. Feeling as if she were in no real danger, she was more frustrated than anything. In an attempt to get Batman’s attention she had instead appeared to be deceived by a shady camera man who was at risk for losing his job. Now, she was stuck to deal with this girl in front of her who also adorned some kind of mask. Summer couldn’t help but roll her eyes, there were so many self-titled vigilantes roaming around this town that it was impossible to sort through the legitimate ones. Despite her reputation and ability, Summer had already foolishly dismissed Spoiler as a fake – little did she know the girl before her was far from phony. “Clearly.” She said with a sigh as she stopped struggling when the girl mentioned untying her. As the girl began to cut her ropes, Summer stiffened, a bit of panic in her eyes. “Be careful! This dress probably cost more than your entire outfit there.” The ropes began to fall loose and the redhead let out a sigh of relief as she rotated her wrists and stretched her recently-feed limbs. “My idiot camera man. Or at least I think he was my camera man. Ugh, I don’t know. They all look the same anymore. It’s hard to find decent help. But thank you for cutting me loose." She pouted for a moment until she noticed the large duffle bag the man had used to store the ropes that he used to bind Summer. She wrinkled her nose and her curiosity peaked. “That’s his bag….I wonder what is inside it.” She commented, almost afraid what she might discover. outfit: click

"Clearly."
Stephanie placed her hands on her hips as the older woman sassed her. Spoiler made an effort to take her time cutting the rope. By the looks of it, they weren't in any real danger, and the woman kind of deserved it. Stephanie repeated her question, hoping to get some answers as quickly as possible. Stephanie continued cutting the ropes and gave the woman some time to answer her other question.
“Be careful! This dress probably cost more than your entire outfit there.”
Stephanie rolled her eyes and continued cutting. She considered going out of her way to nick the dress, but that was trouble she didn't want to get into right now. Stephanie was getting a bit annoyed. The woman seemed to be more interested in saving her dress than helping Spoiler. Stephanie stood back up as she finished freeing the woman.
“My idiot camera man. Or at least I think he was my camera man. Ugh, I don’t know. They all look the same anymore. It’s hard to find decent help. But thank you for cutting me loose."
"Why did he do this? Were you tied up willingly? And where is he now?" Stephanie questioned. Why would her camera man tie her up, then leave? And if she was tied up willingly, why? Spoiler pulled out the phone she had purchased via Bruce Wayne's bank account, which wasn't that hard to hack into. She noted the evidence so far. Looking up from her phone, Spoiler saw the bag in front of her a second before the woman spoke.
“That’s his bag… I wonder what is inside it.” Stephanie's heart dropped as soon as the woman spoke. Slowly Stephanie walked over to the duffel bag, knelt down and unzipped it. Heart in her stomach, Stephanie began to remove the contents.
"5 rolls of duct tape, three reels of 550' cord, two cameras, handcuffs, three tapes, 3 pistols, two knifes, and... and two pill bottles... One with sleeping pills... and the other... Date-rape drug." Stephanie shuddered and stood up. It made her cringe to imagine what this man was planning on doing to her.
"Ma'm. Do you know this 'Camera-man' from anywhere else? Perhaps an old enemy from high school who wants revenge? An old college friend who had an infatuation with you and wants to finally have you?" Stephanie questioned. She put her hands on the shoulders of the woman and looked her in the eye. Doing this was partially to comfort Summer, and partially to comfort herself.
"Ma'm. Its all going to be ok."

Summer rolled her eyes once more, as if the girl should have automatically known the reason she had willingly allowed some burly cameraman to tie her up on a chilly rooftop. Rubbing her temples as if this conversation was exhausting, she sighed longingly before replying with an answer. “You have superpowers – why don’t you figure it out.” She attempted at first, still sore that her plan hadn’t worked. After a brief pause she put her hands down her side and attempted to be more reasonable. “I had him tie me in up in order to lure a certain someone here this evening. It sounds silly now – but it was a trap. And a poorly executed one at that seeing as the fat lug couldn’t stick to the script.” Summer said with an obvious annoyance toward her camera man. “I don’t know where that obese imbecile ran off too.” She folded her arms across her chest, clearly cold with the absence of a jacket or blazer. Her eyes widened and jaw dropped with each item that was pulled from the duffle bag. “What?” Summer shouted, clearly disturbed at the very thought. “What the hell is all that for?” She squealed. She brought both of her hands to either side of her face in disbelief. “No – I mean. I hired him a month or so back. He was a professional photographer who needed a bit more job stability. He’s a fan of my show- but I hire so many people I am not even sure what his last name is at the moment. Oh my-this is…” She was getting slightly dizzy from all the excitement, mouth still opened in completely surprise. Maybe it was time to appreciate this girl a bit more than she had been. “Well, thank goodness you are here.” With a sudden realization, her eyes grew wide with terror once more. “He’s going to come back for me!” Summer announced, glancing fearfully to the door on the roof. outfit: click
