Batgirl sat in a room that consisted of screens, each accurately displaying a different angle or hall of Wayne Enterprises. While she didn’t typically spend her late nights patrolling Bruce’s business, this favor was one she was more than willing to do. Dressed in her skin-tight bat suit that hugged each and every curve of her body, the masked redhead leaned over the desk engaged in each of the screens, waiting. Between school, work and her new internship, it was a surprise she even had time for her double life – but she managed. To ask her if she would rather be curled up in bed rather than fighting fatigue she would still insist on being here. Recently, Bruce’s company had developed a new EMP that could cut electrical devices and evaporate water. Thanks to a certain nosy news reporter and her big mouth, the news had reached the ears of every Gothamite with a television set. Having personally had a hand in the project, the last thing that the near-genius student was going to do was risk having it swiped from under their nose. There was a multitude of potentials that would want to get their hands on such a thing, and some who would go to great lengths to take it simply for a cash bribe. Trusting no one else for such a job, she was taking the responsibility into her own hands. Right after work she had slipped into her Batgirl attire before slipping through one of the secret entrances of the building. While there was a great deal of security already, Babs still felt obligated to take matters into her own hands. Something in one of the cameras caught her eye, causing her to focus on the cluster of screens. With a smirk, she started swiftly towards where she had remembered it to be, her photographic memory helping her significantly as she quickly arrived on the scene of the heavily secured EMP, assuming the individual who had managed to find their way in would be headed for it next. Little did they know that they were going to have to deal with her first. One hand hovering over her utilities belt, she stuck to the shadows. Her eyes had adjusted to the darkness hours ago. Silently, with her hands on her hips, she waited for the figure to round the corner. “Oh, Sorry Robin Hood. Business hours are from 9am to 9pm. We’re closed. You’ll have to come back later.”

Oliver had never thought the day would come in which Bruce Wayne would fall so low as to start creating weapons of mass destruction. Surely he would have realized the repercussions of creating such a dangerous device, capable of whipping out whole towns on a massive scale. Its simple, the man doesn't care. All he cares about is making more inventions to fund his lavish life style, with no regards to the general well being of man kind. Oliver despised this man the more he learned about him. There was only one course of action, destroy the device. Destroy it, and all the papers of its fabrication so that it cant be replicated. Game on, Mr. Wayne. Oliver rode his motorcycle into an alleyway near Wayne enterprises. He suited out in his usual green get up, and prepared to scale the building. He moved around the street corners till he got to the side of the building. He shot a grappling arrow up to the roof where it connected. He gave the rope a firm tug to make sure it was secure, then began to climb up, one foot in front of the other. He finally got to the floor before the technology center. He fastened the rope to his harness, and took out his glass cutter. Green Arrow cut a hole in the window, and proceeded to carefully enter. The corridor was long, narrow and dark. He could feel the immediate change in temperature from the amazing AC that was installed. The carpet had to have been newly installed, it made it easier for him to conceal his foot steps. Oliver drew an arrow and placed it against the bow and string. He stuck to the walls, rubbing his shoulder to it as he moved. He came across a corner, on the side was another long hall way, with the entrance to the right. He did a pie slicing technique with the arrow drawn, where he slowly moved around the corner, check each side at every step. It was clear, except for the darkness. As he made his way further down, a voice came from the darkness. It was obviously a woman, little bit of a wise mouth. Oliver drew the arrow back and awaited the figure to show herself. She came into view. Looked like a female version of Batman. He had read in the news of a "batgirl" this was obviously her. "Am I in time for the party? Don't tell me Nightwing and Robin are around the other corner?" The two froze in front of each other with an intense stare down. She had her hand on her utility belt, and he had an arrow aimed at her chest. With a few quick breaths between the two, Oliver shot the arrow at her. With a quick, swift grab, Batgirl caught the arrow in front of her chest. Oliver started to walk towards her. "Anyone who has ever fought me knows..." He raised his arm covering his eyes "Don't catch my arrows..." The arrow went off. It had a small flash bang built into the tip, blurring batgirls vision and hearing. In the middle of her trying to collect herself, Oliver walked straight past her and on to the door to the technology labs. It had a passcode above the handle. Oliver took an emp arrow, and jammed it into the locking mechanism. The door opened. He walked in and saw a line of them hooked up to their electrical devices. If he could over power it, he could fry the insides of the machine. He took out an electrical current arrow, and aimed it at the power source. After this, he would be paying Wayne Manor a visit...

“For all you know they could be,” She replied with an almost devilish smirk, she glared from him to his weapon, positioning herself perfectly in case she needed to act quickly. The redhead had done her research on the man that stood before her, and her photographic memory allowed her to recall each bit of information that she obtained. His obvious skill as an archer informed her she needed to be quick in an attempt to dodge whatever efforts he might fire at her. Still, the redhead’s ample amount of training made her fearless as she simply waited for him to fire. Watching his body language carefully, she noticed his fingers release and sent the arrow hurtling toward her chest. With one swift, graceful movement, she seized the arrow with a gloved hand, her grin only growing. With not even an inch to spare before it had penetrated her. She gave it a twirl in almost a cocky manner as he started toward her. Batgirl’s eyes grew wide at his words, but as she moved to drop it the arrow had already taken effect. With a blinding light and deafening sound the resembled a mini-explosion, a noise of pain fell from the redhead’s lips as she stumbled into the wall. Closing her eyes as an unwanted round of tears fell from her burning pupils, the heroine slide down the length of the wall with her ears ringing. She couldn’t hear, she couldn’t see but she desperately tried to force through the pain knowing that each second was a moment lost. “Ahhhhh” She groaned as she managed to her feet, her eyes red and irritated and her ears still ringing. She stumbled slightly with both of her most used senses were dulled, but continued to fight through it. Batgirl started toward the lab, following his trail as quietly as she could. Finding it difficult to recover, she forced herself to push through the pain of it all and found herself occupying the same room of him. Before a smart reply could fly from her lips, she debated on using her trusty bat-a-rangs, but didn’t want to hit and of Bruce’s devices and risk ruining them. Instead, she hurtled toward him while his back was turned in attempt to tackle him. “Miss me?”

Oliver kept his elbow up, and drawstring back. The arrow he had balanced at the end of his bow had an electrical current running through it. A bright blueish white mini lightning bolt danced around the arrow head, almost matching the color of the power supply unit. The hooded archer eyed the power source and how it split off and went into all the different units. The target was only across the room, so he didnt have to do much to accommodate, due to the compound bow. Then out of nowhere her voice came directly from behind him. She had recovered from his flash bang quicker than he anticipated, or perhaps he just took too long to take the shot. The hell was a member of the bat family doing here in the middle of the night anyways!?
Arrow turned his head to see the woman in the bat suit bull rushing him. He thought back to his training with the KGB and remembered maximum efficiency, minimal effort. Oliver side stepped and stuck his foot out for her to trip over. As he stuck his foot out, Oliver twisted his body over, and took the shot. The electric arrow soared across the room, and crashed into its target. One by one the little devices gave a small explosion, leaving the Miniature weapons a smoking heap of scrap metal. After all the devices ignited, the power seemed to go off through Wayne Enterprises. He had managed to cause a shortage. He probably had a few minutes before the back up generators could kick on, but it was more than enough time. For now though, the current problem before him was the Dark Knights protege. What was her problem? Did she support the manufacturing of these type of weapons? Even better question, did Batman also support it?
"I dont know what side you think youre fighting on.. Are you aware of the damage these weapons can do? If each one of those were put in the right places, it could wipe this whole country out and take us back to the stone age!.. Why are you even here? What is your affiliation with Wayne Enterprises?"
Maybe there was more to Bruce Wayne than he thought.

Her ears were still ringing from her previous mistake, but Batgirl had enough adrenaline racing through her veins to ignore the pain and simply push through it. The masked man had managed to bypass the rest of the security and make his way into the room they currently stood. Batgirl raced toward him, noting as he moved to trip her and launched another arrow with accurate aim. However, she wasn’t aiming for him – but the rest of his ammunition. She seized the heavy sheath of arrow and sliced that material that strapped them to his fit frame. As she worked on retrieving his arrows, she allowed him to send one straight into the device that stood threateningly in the middle of the room. The tip of the arrow met its target and the machine made a horrible noise as it had been struck. Batgirl winced at the sound, only adding to the annoying ring that continued to vibrate in her head. Her face fell as she looked up, a series of sparks flying from the device. She knew she could repair it easily, after all, she had devoted hours to making it what it was now when she hung up the mask. The backup generators would kick on in a matter of moments, easing her fears slightly but not doing anything to cope with the annoyance of this intruder. “I think it’s obvious which side I am fighting on – and it’s not yours.” Defensive and in need of a distraction, she targeted his abdomen, moving to kick him forcefully with great and alarming speed. The redhead had spent the last five years of her life training in various types of martial arts. As long as she could keep his arrows from him, she was positive that he would be an easy opponent. Almost like a concerned mother, she sent glances in the direction of the machine in the middle of the room, hoping that her hard work would not be destroyed by this green goon. “I’m very aware of what it does – and you ask far too many questions.” She moved to strike him once more.

Oliver watched as Batgirl took her stance. She had been trained. Arrow never underestimated anyone regardless of size or status. He reached back to pull out an arrow, but grabbed nothing. He noticed his satchel of arrows were missing. She had taken them. A sly trick, but the arrows were only the tip of the iceberg. His hand to hand training from Chinese special forces and KGB agents, along with real life combat experience, this girl was done. But not now. Now isn't her time, and he wouldn't kill her. The real target was Bruce Wayne, and apparently Batman. After he eliminated them, he would get all the information he needed out of her. Oliver hung up his bow on his back and lifted both hands in front of him, towards batgirl, fingers extended out. She would most likely think this is a lame attempt at a mental strike to mask his physical attack. Wrong. His hands slowly went to his thighs and down his legs. Oliver grabbed a ball shaped object from his side pouch that hung by his thigh, and quickly threw it to the ground. The ball went off with a strobing light. Combined with the darkness and slight moonlight, it would impair anyones vision and make you think he was going left, when really he was going right. Oliver ran towards batgirl, Grabbed one of his explosive arrows, and a grappling arrow. Green arrow turned around and ran back into the hallway. Quickly he approached a tall window, with buildings and the moon on the other side. With a slight of hand he drew the arrow and blew the shatter proof glass up. Continued into a sprint, Oliver lunged out the window, making quick use of his grappling arrow to land to safety on the ground. He turned back to the window, and gave a peace sign before disappearing into the darkness of the night
