The rain pelted the streets as she made her way down the alley toward a man fleeting for his life. Her mind telling her this was going to be a good night. She could feel the rain running down body as she had flown through the night to follow the man. Only to land in the alley to walk with a powerful stride to the victim.
A smirk played on her lips as she walked up towards him. Her eyes heated and glowing red from her heat vision. Just enough for them to glow as she made her way down towards him.
The man stood with his back against the wall at this point. He pulled out a gun and started to fire.
She wanted to laugh at his attempt to harm her. Bullets were no match for Supergirl. And neither was he.
"You thought you could run. You thought you could hide. And now you insult me with a firearm, ha," she let her tone roll as she walked up to him.
This was all amusing to her. All a game. But it was the mental fun against the human that was even more so entertaining.
"You never got back to me. You'd out lived your use at this point," she said as she pinned him against the wall.
Lifting him by his neck. Hearing the man choking as he tried to speak. The gun dropping to the ground, splashing in a puddle.
"I warned you. And now you must pay," she said as her heat vision started to kick up in heat.
And then.....
"Ah!," Supergirl literally jumped up from where she had been laying on the couch in the bunker.
She lingered as she was now floating in the air. She looked around. Whipping her head so fast she might get whiplash. It was just a dream.
A horrible dream. Similar to many sights she had seen in those dreams. All too real. She couldn't stand them. She couldn't sleep at night any more.
That was why she often volunteered to help out on the night patrols, regardless of school. She couldn't sleep. She didn't want to see the sights.
Kara floated away from her place on the couch. She need to find Roy. He'd help to calm her down. This was the worst yet. Or at least of what she knew of.
It didn't take her long to spot Arsenal by the main computer system with his feet kicked up.

It was mostly very late at night or very early in the morning. Either one. There had been relatively brief patrolling, ultimately it ended up back the bunker and the team dispersing for the rest of evening. Save of course, Arsenal. He allocated to play watch owl and Supergirl, suppose that could be back up. Least if need be, otherwise she safe to catch a little sleep. Roy certainly could hope he didn't need her, she needed all the sleep she could get these days as sweet as can be and he couldn't say he liked waking her up. It was either like waking up a puppy or a hell hound. Thankfully he was somewhat tough enough…. So Roy found himself after stripping off some of his gear. Leaving mostly his suit hung loose at his hips. Open, nice to let his chest breath with the weather now warming up after the snow had melted. Roy planted himself in front of the monitors, like he was captain of his ship. Comfy in his chair, head back, feet kicked up and eyes on the screens. Mostly a screen. A small tip from the titans days, it wasn't just signals to cameras, but cable. Legally, illegally it hardly mattered. Defiantly not, as Roy enjoyed his somewhat DOWN TIME for the night. That of course, before he heard the whistling in the air and reflection in one of the screens. Kara. Switching the channel abruptly and putting the tissue box back on table. Before spinning around in his chair.
"Kara…! What's got you so blue, baby doll? Did the sheep not work this time?"
Roy spoke upon seeing the blonde hair and delicate features. The blue eyes. Sweet. Sweet. Sweet. As he half grinned, but it died down a little catching the rather glum look on her face and the flushing cheeks. A gentle frown came to his eyes as he asked her what was up? What was wrong? He was defiantly here to help, he had a hunch, but details baby. Details. Jesting lightly at the counting of sheep, one of many remedies she had tried. Sheep never really worked for him either, their sheep and you run the risk of them Baa baaing all night. Not fun.
"You want a cookie?"
Offering as Roy half swivelled on his chair, reaching for the Oreo cookies somewhere by one of the monitors. Yep, he was the cookie monster. Taking one of the cookies to eat. Some of the dark crumbs dropped and rolled down his bare chest. Roughly with a hand brushed the crumbs and sweat off. Maybe she needed something a little more than a cookie. A hug? As Roy waited for her to make her way over. He was certainly all arms… All eyes, but thats another thing entirely.

Kara floated for a bit longer in his direction before she landed her feet on the ground. She could do it the human way. She was often so used to it now.
She noticed she must have interrupted his concentration on keeping a watchful eye over the computer systems. Though she knew there was little activity that needed their attention that night.
Roy certainly made himself at home while he was here. Telling by him reclining in the computer chair with food at his side. This place was starting to become more than just a bunker and a crash pad for the night.
She started to walk toward him as she landed. Her right arm reaching across the front of her body, holding to her left arm that hung down. It was just her way of protection against the thoughts. Many humans did that in uncomfortable situations.
Kara let the questions hang for a minute before she could gather the words together. Her mind still reeling from the images she had seen. Such a sight. Such a side she had never touched before. Yet it felt so real.
"It happened again. The dreams. Or at least I thought they were. Something isn't right. I've known this for a while now, but this was worst than the rest," Kara said quietly.
Her blue eyes shifting around. In truth, was this a side that was within her? From past fights when she first came to earth she had been reckless. And Superman and Batman had noticed. And though fighting along side a few of them, we was told and taught not to kill. Though her methods often put people in the hospital for a while even the aliens would sooner face Superman than her at times. She just had a tougher sense of justice from when she had grown up.
You had powers you us them in battle. But through Wonder Woman and Kal, she knew she needed to keep from going over the edge. People on this planet would be in a witch hunt against their kind if a super did such a thing to a human. But where they now doing that now? At least from what Kara was seeing, it seemed like someone was. But was it her?
"I don't understand! I'm always right here! I don't remember doing any of it. Yet some of what has happened, there is evidence to say otherwise. The people missing," Kara spoke. Her voice becoming more cracked with worry over what was going on. And the potential danger she might be causing.
She had seen worse in the field of work, but this was something cruel towards the humans. They were powerless against her. Like an ant, she could crush them in seconds. And this she had seen.
It was one thing to take down someone in a fight and them losing their lives. But the scum of the street, sure they should face justice. But Kal had taught her not that way. The way they were tortured before their death at possibly her hands.
What she had seen in the past, the pain they go through. It was more upsetting to her that she didn't remember committing such an act.
She started to shake a bit. She held back the weakness. The want to cry over what was going on. She was so confused.
"I just don't get it. I'm here, yet this is going on. Or am I imagining everything the evidence, the missing people? People are staying silent out there. And some have just hide as soon as I cross them," she said.

Blue was certainly an understatement, Roy had half hoped she had just a bad dream like most people. Or better yet the crazy nightmares that surely a lot of heroes have. You see and go through so much in just one night, more than probably your average civilian… Though suppose that was a little different for Gotham. Who honestly could say. There was certainly a plus, Kara came running to Roy. Ok, slowly, but still came in search for Roy. For comfort? Roy motioned a comforting facial expression, he'd offer as much he could. Who truly liked seeing Kara looking so down? Finishing his cookie as Roy listened to Kara speak. Letting his eyes take note of the vulnerable way she stood. Helpless. So helpless, part of Roy also felt helpless. Brushing the remaining crumbs. Roy got to his feet and motioned to where Kara stood a few feet in front of him. Trembling. Fear in her eyes. Even as Roy motioned towards, motioned hands to comfort, he took cares not to freak her out. Lord know what she dreamed this time. Murderous wasn't really what one thought when looking in such innocent eyes, then again would one naturally expect such strong forearms? With a gentle arm scooping across her back to hug her in from her opposite shoulder to him and gently rubbing her arm. Brushing back some of the golden strands from her face with his other hand.
"Don't worry, Kara. I'm here… Why don't you take seat? If its not to painful, perhaps tell me what you remember? Maybe that will help."
Roy said comfortably although not to worry, perhaps he couldn't completely convince of that and perhaps there was reason to worry, but she here now. Present. They could try and give this out. Though for a moment, maybe she just needed to breathe. Help settle her mind, she seemed so rattled. As Roy suggested as he helped by pulling out one of the chairs at the Outsider table. Maybe tell him what exactly happened in the dream. Roy left her for a moment, but only a little in the distance to the little kitchenette area, pour some water into a glass. Before making his way back to join Kara back at the table, whilst offering the glass to take if she needed. A hand took one of hers in a gesture. Offer comfort. He frowned a little as she mentioned more. All the crap she was bottling up, trying to handle, amongst all the confusing.
"I'm not surprised you're confused, I'm just as confused as you are Kara… Do these dreams feel like they are happening right then and there? Or do they just feel like memories? Because I think I would have realised you coming and going… I don't think you're imaging it. The reports certainly point to someone fitting you're description, though I haven't found any actual solid proof. There might be a chance there was a hit on one of the Titan cams in New York. Cyborg should be filing it as we speak… Well, people always have reasons to hide, as stupid as they can be. Has anything like this happened to a kryptonian before?"
Roy confessed honestly, hopefully it would make her feel a little better not worse, but if whatever was happen was actually Kara, then this was probably more of a kryptonian thing. Roy could only understand that so much, but he undoubtedly want to. Would help any way he could, but with evidence here. There. Whispers. Half of it was here say and rest was pretty much in her head, least in dream form. Squeezed her hand a little, just a tad for comfort. Asking her in a little more if she felt she was actually doing these as she was dreaming or she was just more a memory of another time. Suppose either way as Roy pondered in thought and from any information. The key was very much in the dreams. That's was for sure what they had to go with. Perhaps there were tests they could try whilst she was sleeping, get inside her head a little. As Arsenal looked around at his tech. Though even as he brought up the little tidbit he was sent in from Cyborg, there maybe something they could use at titans tower, if need be… Roy commented pointedly with a gentle touch at her hand, at Kara mentioning people hiding. Whether it be because she was different or even a hero. Not everyone clung to them so well… Roy pulled for the cookies placed them beside her, if Kara wanted something more to comfort her, whilst curious if she knew of any other kryptonians experience anything like this.

Kara took the seat she was offer. She was still a little shaken up. Trying to keep in control. The last thing she wanted was to lose control again. Or at least, she felt like she would.
In a way, when Roy took her one hand, it was some how settling a bit.
She trusted him. She knew he wouldn't judge her. Let alone call her crazy for what she might have gone through. Others had written her off saying it was just a bad dream. Then again, for the longest time after being mind controlled by Doomsday, she had gone through such a phase. Especially after the lose of a friend both her and Diana had shared on the island she trained on.
Kara waited a little before she wanted to recall what had happened fully. She listened to Roy's voice. He was there to help her.
"It felt like it was happening then. There was such a rush going on. But my heat vision...I didn't set it off in the room. There would be burn holes on the wall or ceiling if I had reacted to it. I had this man trapped. Wanting answers for something. But it was all like a game. He wasn't needed. All a game of cat and mouse for the trill. But it wasn't like he was going to get away a live......the rush was in the tormenting," Kara said.
She had managed to at least give an over view of all the actions. But it had her unsettled.
In her past she may have killed someone before...but this, this was when she knew what was going on. And she had control of herself. Or at least she thought she did.
It was getting harder to want to say all that had happened. Though she was remembering more detail as her mind recalled the scene in her mind's eye.

There was very little to no judgement. Most of this Roy had really little insight. Because clearly he was neither kryptonian, nor was he a woman…. Though he did know a little something about losing control, that kind of came hand in hand with a drinking problem. Whoever seriously said life, crossed with a hero life was smooth sailing, was pulling your chain… Not that he didn't love what he did. Of course he did. He wanted this since he could shoot an arrow and aimlessly fall out of trees before learning his stealth. Whilst pulling Kara into a more safety feeling position on the sofa, he half felt wise and half felt he was way off having the answers.. Ears. He did have those. He could listen to her bleed her heart out all night, if need be. His hand closest broke space long enough he he stroked her pretty little head. Feeling the silky blonde strands, just that little bit frazzled from her nap. Whilst left his other hand gently taking one of her own, listening in intently as she talked about her dreams.
"Oh, Kara… I'm no therapist, but from the sounds… You or this… Other you was channeling your aggressive side… What if we redirect that? I mean I could be completely wrong, even so getting your mind off it, may just help clear your mind… "
Trying to wrap his head around whether it was just a dream or somehow it was reality that was happening in her mind, he couldn't quite grasp, but it really went with all possibilities at this point. Being kryptonian, he really couldn't be surprised nor really know, but from the dream alone he could gather if it had any real connection to how Kara was feeling, then suppose then suppose there could be some clue as to what they needed to… His main thought was to ease her mind. He could feel her tremble and his her mind working over time. She just needed to breath, he blinked and caught glimpses of what Kara had somewhat described. Desire to hurt people. Such a thing of course he wouldn't take lightly. Thats something no one wanted to come to light, last thing Kara needed was more self inflictions. Asking with slightly wavering smile, if she cared to try to sort of channel her aggression in another fashion. Of course he was thinking in some sort of game fashion. Then again she may just wanna kick his ass in a friendly sparring… Hmmm, but his eyes did wander off a little. He might just have a nice little simulator, initially he was thinking she should kick box, but she'd probably destroy that in no time, but simulator… Who knew? Though at this hour and the glimpse of dark rings almost invading her eyes, maybe she needed to sleep… If it was even possible without the dreams.
"With all the crap we deal with on a regular bases and top of all the other things you deal with, like your schooling, I wouldn't be surprised your also stressed out… I mean your super, but your still one being… I don't think you're crazy though, but nor do I really have the answers… I wish I did, but I'll help in every way I can!"
Roy carefully added as if some parts of this, he could make sense. It took nothing to see the strain she was putting herself, let alone her mind and she was still so young. Ok, maybe like three years younger than Roy, but damn he was probably even more fucked in ways when he was that age… Although he was also a little carefree. There was usually some balance of the good and naughty behaviour. Sometimes more naughty than good. Who was he kidding, he was like a rebel without a course, but he really couldn't imagine dealing with something like this. Trying to reassure she wasn't crazy, even though he couldn't lie it really didn't make great sense to him, but he was here… Whenever she needed and lightly placed a kiss on her forehead. Before offering her cookie.
