Both hands filled with shopping bags, the young blonde weaved in and out of designer stores. Seeing as most of her friends had their own professions and jobs and she was currently out of work, she was attempting to distract herself by going on a little shopping spree; curtsey of her father’s wallet. While he had instructed her to get a dress for the upcoming gala, the spending didn’t seem to stop there. After all, she did have an upcoming audition that she had to dress to impress for and that required a new outfit as well! Easily tempted by the latest fashion that Gotham’s streets had to offer, time basically flew before she realized it several hours had passed.
Looking down at her phone, her eyes grew wide when she realized how much time she had wasted and several missed calls caused her screen to light up. Hailing a simple taxi with limited experience doing so, she began to load her store-bought treasures into the cab before getting in herself. With her license suspended thanks to Gotham’s finest and a great deal of her own mistakes, she wrinkled her nose before putting a leg into the common cab, finding it was nothing in comparison to her hot-red sports car at home.
Before she fully entered the taxi, a resounding series of crashes down the road grabbed her attention. Her head turned the direction, unsure where exactly the source of the noise was, nor what it was – but she was positive that it was close. The noise had been so loud that it caused her to cringe and quickly reach to her head to cover her ears. With half of her body out of the taxi, she watched for a moment to see what was unfolding before her. One thing was for sure: the first sign of danger and she was climbing into the taxi in order to avoid it.

All the commotion up the street was no biggie, just a bank robbery had happen and Canary was in hot pursuit of the robbers. They in a heavy duty hummer and Canary on her bike, she was on their tail. The hummer started to pass dangerously in between various cars and trucks causing wrecks and one fatality. Canary avoid the crashed cars began to ride on the sidewalk, people dodging her bike jumping out of the way. "Move, move, move... sorry!" She then finally got back onto the street. The robbers getting tired of her then took a drastic action, one of them pulled out a missile launcher and aimed at our fishnet motorcycle riding heroine. "Bye bye, birdie!" He finally launched it when he had her in the right spot, but missed and hit a van. It had blew up and caught a blaze. "Dammit, how did I miss..." Thank goodness no one was inside, but Dinah was getting frustrated and nervous of losing lives. "It's time to end this..." Dinah then took an alley way and was planning to cut them off up the street. "She's leaving..." Nope, not leaving you idiots. Canary was now at coming head on to the vehicle. "Shit! She's in front of us..." Dinah then slid off her bike and removed her helmet and took in a deep breath and then let out a Canary Cry. "Skreeeeeeeeeeee!" The sonic waves hit the hummer and it began to flip twice into the air and land on its side and then rolled back onto it's tries, now totaled. One man crawled out and laid on the ground while the other was unconscious in the passenger's seat. "Got em..." Dinah then began to look at the damage done and all of the backed up cars and traffic. She then approached the man on the ground. "Crime doesn't pay, you bastard!" She then check on the man remaining in the vehicle to check and see if he was okay.

With the arrival of a resounding shriek, Piper pressed her palms to her ears, wincing at the high-pitched sound. She felt as though her head might explode, though the source seemed to be a masked woman adorned in all black – well, what little she was wearing was black anyway. The blonde silently huffed to herself, why is it that all of these vigilantes could parade around in hardly anything, but the moment she wore a skirt that was too short the press was all over it? Standing from the sidewalk in complete shock, she watched as the target of the earth-shattering scream flipped several times, landing directly in front of her taxi, boxing the yellow car in completely.
Shielding herself from some of the bits and pieces that dislodged themselves and flew in her direction, Piper used the taxi door to prevent being harmed. Smoke poured from the vehicle, causing the young heiress to cough at its arrival. Unwilling to stay any longer, she began to climb inside the taxi, slamming the door abruptly only to notice that her driver had fainted from the excitement. She tapped the side of his face. “Wake up! Wake up please! Get me the hell out of here!” He was completely unresponsive, but undeniably breathing. With an annoyed huff, she got out of the taxi once more.
A man managed to evacuate the vehicle, crawling toward her and grabbing her heel. He begged for some kind of help, but Piper was completely speechless. The masked heroine was quickly to join them as Piper struggled to pull away. “Look-I don’t know what’s going on…Ohh, I can call the police for you? Don’t touch me.” Attempting to shake her ankle free, the masked heroine was quick to join them. “Crime?” Piper asked as the man’s hand tightened on her ankle. She pulled away stubbornly, looking at the mess that had been made of traffic and the road.
“Are you Batgirl or something? Or Woman. I don’t know you all start to blend together in my mind after a while. What the hell is going on?” Looking the woman up and down, she couldn’t help but admire her hour-glass frame. Piper was an owner of several pairs of fishnets herself, though she much preferred seeing them on other woman than herself.

While checking on the criminal in the smashed up vehicle, Dinah then noticed a young blonde haired woman standing next to the wreckage exiting a taxi. The creep on the ground was grabbing at her legs, crying for help. Wow, really? Loved it when tough guys cry. The woman now panicking and protesting for the man not to touch her, Dinah then approached the two and then with her foot rolled the man back on to his back. "Leave the lady alone, you're fine... stop whining!" The girl then questioned what was going on and who Canary was... Did she just call me Batgirl? Wow that's a first, even thought Canary had been fighting crime in this city for a while she never been affiliated with the "Batman Family". I mean she did team up with them before but not to often, the only team she has lately is the Huntress and that's very seldom, cause Huntress is somewhat a independent hero. Can't blame her though, it feels good... damn good to handle things on your own, especially the dangerous things we do.
"Yes, crime! These gentlemen just robbed First National City Bank of Gotham.... and I'm not Batgirl!" Canary chuckling. "Whole different species, I'm the Black Canary..." Now giving the girl a wink and once again looking over the damage to see if anyone was hurt. "Are you okay? Not hurt?"

Wrinkling her nose at the man groveling at her feet, it only took a matter of moments for the blonde-haired heroine to rush to Piper’s rescue. Thankful that she had, Piper was still oblivious as to whom she was. The stubborn heiress didn’t particularly follow when it came to distinguishing these self-claimed masked individuals from another. She knew of Batman and Catwoman of course – they were practically household names in Gotham. However, the outbreak additional vigilantes were just too much to keep up with in Piper’s simple mind.
“Oh my god. I totally bank there.” Piper said, selfishly concerned for her own finances over anyone else’s. The young woman couldn’t help but admire the woman’s physique taking an obvious moment to look her up and down and not even bothering to hide the fact that she was checking her out. “What size are you? I really want this corset thing you are wearing. It would look so good with this skirt I have…” Closing some of the distance and getting somewhat uncomfortably close to the heroine, Piper clearly had no limits, reaching out to examine the material her outfit was made out of. “Black Canary, huh? I get the Black part because the outfit. But why the Canary? Do you just really like birds?”
When the heroine asked if she was okay, Piper nodded before looking in the direction of her unconscious taxi driver. “Yeah, I don’t think my driver is though. Of course the one time I ever take a dirty city taxi something like this would happen.” Finding it odd that the woman wasn’t asking for her name in return, Piper simply assumed that she already knew who she was. After all, being the mayor’s daughter was an ascribed status in the populated city.

The woman then made notice that she had an account at the bank and worried about her finances. Wow, really? Canary then gave here that look of saying did she just say that. Dinah thought she looked like a painted up Barbie doll princess, how cute. But non the less if Dinah was a civilian and in this young woman's situation she would be worried too I guess. "Well don't worry, it's going back to the bank... right where it belongs..." Canary then made her way to the back seat of the damage vehicle and pulled out two traveling suitcases that held the currency. She then left them on the seat and waited for the police to arrive and to take the robbers into custody and make sure they got the money. Canary then looked to her fellow blonde. "What's your name, I mean you know mine..." Canary said with a wink, might as well make small talk, didn't seem like "Barbie" wasn't leaving anytime soon. "Barbie" then began asking Canary more questions. Wow I feel famous, Canary thought.
Barbie then asked her what her clothing size was and that her leotard like attire would go great with a skirt she had. She then questioned her name, wanting to know why she was named that. The black part was obvious but why the canary? Canary chuckled, wow this chick is noisy or either had ADHD. "I know right, it's custom made! and as for the canary part, was handed down to me from the original Black Canary a superhero form the 80s, a person very close to me... so I'm keeping on the legacy I guess..." Canary said in a heroic way. "You sure you're okay?" Canary questioned, it was kind of strange she stuck around, civilians usually don't talk to masked heroes. She then she noticed Barbie's taxi driver. "Oh my God, is he okay?"
Being concerned and still watching over the money. She was also hoping no one died on her behalf! That would really suck!

Relieved that her finances were in check, as well as the rest of the cities. She took a moment to possibly reconsider who she banked with. Then again, it seemed like bank robberies were a common theme in this particular city. It was funny to consider such a thing, but when she lived in any other regions she never seemed to recall her location having so much trouble with vigilantes and crime, but it certainly wouldn’t be home without it. “Do you always return all the money? I mean, have you ever just taken some?” She asked curiously. “Oh! What if this whole thing was staged or something. And the robbers were hired by you so you could ‘stop them’ and totally pocket some of the cash. I am pretty sure I saw that on a movie once.” Once again, the twenty-two year old didn’t know when to shut her big mouth.
“Oh! I’m Piper Hill,” She introduced herself with an award-winning smile, reaching out to offer her hand. She felt silly doing so, but she was raised to know it was impolite not to. Then again, she rarely followed some of the other advice that was given during her upbringing; she wasn’t sure why she felt compelled to follow this one. Piper blinked in confusion at her statement. “So…I can’t buy one?” She asked in regards to the tight-fitting black component of the fellow blonde’s wardrobe.
“Yeah, I’m fine. I mean, I hit my head a bit when the get-away-car rear-ended my taxi. But I should be alright.” She said, as the blonde noticed the unconscious taxi driver. “Um, I don’t totally know for sure. He was fine when we got re-ended. He started screaming in some other language. I don’t know – it wasn’t English. But when the van started flipping and landed over there he just kind of fainted.”
