How often did she get to see her cousin? Not as much as one would think a alien with powers could. I mean, really...she could fly around the world in less than a minute and yet still couldn't find time to spend with her cousin.
When it came to the Justice League and the Outsiders, they both had their own work to do. Though the Outsiders were still in the unknown compared to the JL, there was still work to be done.
And between the light missions from the JL as a rookie, Supergirl had to keep up her work in all the fields she was involved in.
She was more of a free ranger than someone to be tied down. But the Outsiders was growing on her. And she was finding herself spending more time with that team than with her earth friends or classmates.
It had been almost over two years since she had come to earth and she was settling in nicely. Though her mind still wandered back to her home planet. Things were so different here.
And it was sometimes hard to accepted the cold hard fact that she had been trapped in the space time fields that had left her at her age. As if a day hadn't passed at all when she had first been sent to earth. Yet, it seemed over many years had. Enough so that Kal had grown up and older than her.
Though still seemed unknown to Kara. They hadn't told her own long she had been trapped that way. And she still had memory lapses of her time on Krypton. Though she still remember more of their home planet than Kal did.
Kara took her time flying back to Metropolis after school had let out. She had promised to meet Clark after he would get off work. And she knew where her cousin worked.
When she had landed, she made the adjustments to her attire to blend in with the crowd, even though the cold did not bother her.
She pressed in a pair of jeans, with a pair of tall knee high brown boots. And she wore a black thick jacket. She wore a light blue beanie on her head and wore a pair of thin rime glasses as she walked up to where Clark Kent worked.
Kara walked into the Daily Planet and walked up to the desk.
"I'm looking for Clark Kent. Has he left already," she asked the lady at the front desk.
"I haven't seen him come down yet. I'll page the office to see if he is still about," the woman at the desk replied.
