Growing up, Barbara Ann Minerva had been fascinated with archeology. Treasures of Sparta, The City of the Aztecs, King Arthur and the round table, the Trident of Poiseden. They all existed, and they all had magical properties of some type. Now, obtaining these items would serve as a means to an end. On the edge of Robinson Park was the 'Gotham City Historical Museum', like NYC which had the MET at the edge of Central Park, the Historical Museum served as one of the final destinations for a average citizen on any winter or summer day. Standing over the last of the security guards, Cheetah held the man by the tie and smacked his head into the ground just before taking the security keys which were held on his belt. She was inside the ancient museum and would be hear until she found what she was looking for. On the west wing of the museum they were holding an exhibit on Ancient Green focusing on the legendy story the Iliad by Homer. There the first set of stories about the historical battle was told, and live interactive and holographic pictures of the fights between Hector and Ajax, even depictions on some of the greek gods whom exist today and were involved back then. Ares, Artemis, Aphrodite, Hero, Hephaestus, and Zeus just to name a few. At one of the corners of the exhibit lie what Minerva was looking for. The silver crown of Queen Hecuba. Hecuba had been a simple women who had given birth to many children. Legend states that she fell into depression the moment mighty Hector was slain by Achilles. Although good at the art of stealth, Cheetah was never good at lockpicking or disarming devices. Walking up to the glass case she simply shattered it with a closed fist, setting off multiple alarms around the museum and encovering the area in red light. "You're going to go a long way for me. I wonder how much you're worth?" Cheetah spoke to the crown. She put it around her forehead and quickly began to crawl like a cat towards the center of the exhibit. "Time to make a haste filled exit. Easy as stealing a wishbone from a bulldog."

Diana Prince's ears perked up when she heard alarms sounding in the distance. She was in the vicinity of Robinson Park, taking a walk before retiring for the evening. Suffering with insomnia, she had hoped the brisk night air would do her some good and help her wind down. She hadn't planned on going on patrol that night, but now it looked like her other persona was needed.
Finding a secluded spot, Diana outstretched her arms and began turning in circles. As her spinning gained momentum, the dormant powers within her awakened and exploded outward from her body in a blinding flash, hiding her from view. When the light dissipated, Diana Prince was gone, and in her place stood the super-heroine known as -- WONDER WOMAN!
"Now to see what this is all about," the Amazing Amazon said as she took to the air currents and flew in the direction of the blaring noise. She didn't expect to arrive before the authorities, but she did. Circling the rooftop a few times, she noticed a broken skylight and presumed there was a robbery in progress. Hesitantly, she entered the Gotham City Historical Museum the same way the perpetrator had, and landed softly, not knowing what to expect.
"Mighty Aphrodite!" Wonder Woman cried when she saw a man lying unconscious on the floor. Running to his side, she knelt down to check his pulse and breathing. When she discovered that he was bleeding profusely, the Power Princess wondered what could have caused such deep lacerations on his face and throat.
Tending to the injured security guard, Wonder Woman didn't see movement in the shadows around her.

Cheetah's ears began to throb for a moment as she heard a figure in the other room where she left the lead security guard injured on the floor. Sprinting across the room, Cheetah used the keys she had taken from the guard to unlock a power box and defuse the alarm. The loud blaring stopped, but the red flashing lights were still surrounding the museum. The alarm had notified the authorities, but until they arrived Cheetah would have a little fun and see who had entered into the museum after her. Still wearing the Crown of Hecuba, Cheetah leaped onto one of the giant pillars which served as the support structure of the museum foundation and began to jump from ledge to ledge, statue to statue, until she entered the room with the broken skyline, and downed security guards. The room was in the shape of a large atrium type balcony so one was able to look down into the open floor from the second floor above them and that is where the Cheetah decided to observe from. Looking down she automatically identified her guests as the famous Wonder Woman. Only yesterday, Cheetah had seen a picture of the famous heroine in the Gotham Times, shaking hands with important officials. There was no news article about her, but the picture told a thousand words. Part of her thought about attempting to leave the scene in a stealth like manner, trying to avoid an encounter with Wonder Woman would possibly lead her to another artifact, one worth more then any item found in this museum.. Cheetah jumped form the balcony towards Wonder Woman trying to execute a missle drop kick, a move where she placed her arms against her sides and propeled herself like a missle or arrow from a bow, trying to plant both of her feet in the back of Wonder Woman's head. Missle Dropkick.Letting out a growl right as she jumped. Growl

If it hadn’t been for the low growl, the Cheetah would have hit her intended target. With lightning speed and precision, Wonder Woman tucked her head and shoulder-rolled out of the way at the very last possible second, avoiding contact with the attacker and evading any serious harm.
Nimbly hopping to her feet, Wonder Woman turned to confront her assailant. She was shocked when she saw who it was, and stared, her mouth gaping. The figure wasn’t what she was expecting at all. It wasn’t the sort of person one normally saw on the streets of Gotham City every day. This one looked like she was ready to star in a Broadway musical production of . . . Cats?
The woman’s entire body was covered in a close layer of tan fur, save for the pure white on her belly, and black, paw print-shaped spots marking her back, legs, head, and . . . tail. Yes, indeed, she had a tail -- a long one that was jerking to and fro behind her catlike head with little round ears. Her mouth revealed needle-sharp teeth. Then Wonder Woman's eyes locked on the crown that the cheetah-woman was wearing.
“I love the tiara!” the Amazing Amazon told the feral feline while unwrapping the golden lasso of truth from her side. “You look just like me -- almost. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery! Now why don’t you give that back, and let’s talk about why you did all this!”
