Catwoman laughed. The Iceberg could be interesting. If interesting is what she wanted, well, they could go there. It wasn't a shock for Catwoman to be seen with different clientele, most didn't care to question her guests. But it was more out of concern for Huntress. "Well, if you're ok with the questioning, and the possible harassment for being...well, a 'Batman cronie' then we can head over there. They have better service than where I was thinking we could go." Smiling, she waited for Huntress to complete her phone calls, understanding what would need to occur post a bust. It wouldn't bother her to hang out a few more minutes until the law came to clean up. And it was funny how they liked to complain about the vigilantes.
"Don't worry about including my name in your report. In this sort of incident, I don't mind. While I may steal; this had nothing to do with that. It had to do with animals, and a possible bait and switch tactic that clearly failed. No doubt will I be questioned later, but that's life. Been there, done that."Nodding, and with a wave of her hand Selina was content with that answer. She committed enough of her own crimes that she didn't need to hear another story of some man with horrible fashion sense to round out her evening. At the offer to a ride, Catwoman would balk slightly, a bit of a flashback crossing her mind. The last time she was offered a ride...well, it had turned out quite intersting. Then again she wasn't wanting to walk to the Iceberg, either, at the moment.
"If you're offering, I'll take you up on the ride. I just hope I don't have to chalk this one up to a mugging..." she murmured, partially to herself, as a smile crossed her lips. "Just hope that none of the guys see us. We'll never catch the end of it..." She joked. As if being a female in this line of work wasn't fun enough.

"I get questioned all the time and usually it's about Batman although sometimes its somebody asking me if I want to be bedded. Must be the costume, but anyway if people consider me to be one of his cronies that's their problem, but I'm my own woman not his patsy. GCPD will be here in a few, as will animal control. Normally I'd just leave, but the kittens might accidentally get hurt, and they need protection like anyone else."
Stealing a glance toward the box of meowing creatures, Huntress looked back to the group of thugs, one of which was already starting to come around. It was the one who had put himself in charge of the group, or perhaps that was just her view of it as he had opened his mouth first. Walking over toward the guy, Huntress stood in front of him and then crossed her arms under her chest, while she waited for him to fully wake. She had questions she wanted answered, though she doubted he'd provide much beyond the usual threats and curses.
She wasn't the least bit surprised to see him lash out at her, though the feeble kick he sent her way missed by a good foot as did the attempt to send spittle her way. Smiling slightly Huntress returned the kick with one of her own, which connected to the man's knee in such a way that she knew he would not be walking on it anytime soon, which of course had been her intent. It took longer than she thought for the man to quit his belly aching, though Huntress did pass the time by watching the approaching squad cars which were coming in from her left and the animal rights van coming in from her right. Knowing the time was short, she finally knelt down in front of the man and touched his abused knee, before she asked her question.
"I want a name. I know you are smart enough to plan this, but someone else is. Who is it?"
*Go F*** yourself, bitch, I ain't...uuaaarrrrrrggggggggggghhhhhhh.*
"I'm sorry, I didn't quite understand you. What was that name again? And mind you, I can squeeze harder."
*Thorne...., Rupert Thorne..., not get off me you...*
"See, that wasn't so hard, now was it?"
Huntress had heard of the name well enough, though she had not had any run ins with the man. A powerful boss in his own right, Huntress thought about what she had heard on the streets weeks before, rumors she had confirmed while in her civilian guise while speaking with her favorite uncle Adolfo, that Thorne was secretly buying up small sections of the east side in order to build some kind of multipurpose development, one that would in all likelihood displace the people that already living there called home.
"Ever heard of Rupert Thorne, Catwoman? Once we wrap this up here and I make my debut at the Iceberg, barring any unfortunate dealings there, I'll fill you in on something I'd heard about the man."

Catwoman nodded as Huntress showed no care in going to the Iceberg. It wasn't that Catwoman cared, she just wasn't in for some sort of brawl at one of the places she frequented. Not that there hadn't been brawls there prior she has been in, but tonight, she'd rather not. "He is a rather polarizing figure, isn't he." She contributed to the conversation. Love him, or hate him, Batman made you feel something.
Recoiling her whip, she was shocked to see one of the men revive himself, and Huntress...react rather quickly. If nothing else, the other woman went about doing her thing with an economy of movement, quickly getting out a name from the goon with ease. It was name she hadn't heard on the lips of anyone in a bit, one that brought a chill to her spine. Finding that her lower lip was caught between her teeth, Catwoman turned back to Huntress, glad to see that the respective vehicles were moving in to take care of the situation; both cats and trash.
"I have. I'd be quite interested to hear what you have to say. At this point, preferably after the bike ride to the Iceberg, and and over several drinks. My treat." This was a tidbit of information she didn't want to pass up. Curious, curious.

Huntress nodded her head slowly while she watched the padiwagons pull in. In minutes the cops were grabbing the various thugs and replacing the riot straps with those of their own design, before each thug was half walked-half dragged into the backs of the large vans. Huntress meanwhile was debriefing the sergeant in charge, knowing that her comments were being recorded for later comparison with the written notes. More than once, they both looked toward Catwoman, but hopefully the feline could tell Huntress was defending her part in the whole affair, something Huntress was willing to, and in fact did, sign for.
The last of the group placed in the padiwagons for transport, Huntress nodded slightly to the officer in charge and then turned to leave, though the arrival of an unmarked car caused her to pause. Huntress tended to dislike the higher ups of the GCPD since they usually asked the very same questions their sergeants did, which served no other purpose than to delay justice, or at least her free time. This one was no different as he went over everything again, even to the point of disbelieving that Catwoman was working for the side of good, with Huntress - having finally reached her frustration cap - ending the discussion with a comment of her own.
"Say what you will about Catwoman lieutenant, but she was a sight more helpful during this evening's action that you will ever be. Now if you wish to talk to her, be my guest, but i need to go get my bike, so if you will excuse me?"
That she didn't say anything about Thorne was a given, but only to Catwoman who had to have been close enough to hear everything Huntress had said. Leaving for a moment, her hand signals to Catwoman telling her what she was up to, Huntress sprinted down the street then around the corner of the second building to their left. For seemingly long minutes, nothing else was heard, until the sound of a motorcycle could be heard revving up, and scant minutes later, Huntress reappeared to pick Catwoman up; though her final exchange with the lieutenant showing the contempt Huntress held for his particular kind, before the both sped away.
*Huntress, if we need to ask you anything else, where can we find you?*
"Iceberg Lounge, but I wouldn't suggest you go there..., not unless you want a headache on your hands."
*I've already had one headache tonight in you, Huntress. You ask me, all of you masked types should be locked away for good.*
"Then I won't ask you, and besides, if we were locked away, who'd be around to solve the crimes? You couldn't if a neon sign pointed the way."

Standing there while Gotham's finest flooded the area was not her cup of tea. Nor was fighting crime, but there she was, amidst it all, keeping out the way. Watching the scene unfold, she noticed Huntress had a very curt, to the point manner about her when dealing with the police. It raised a brow, and made Catwoman want to mention to the woman that maybe she should get on the force, if she could do their job better. Which, at this point, seemed she could. So when the Officers in charge cast glances her way, she feigned interest in other things; mainly anything other than speaking to the Police.
So when she heard the low rumble of a motorcycle, she breathed a slight sigh of relief, a glance to make sure both foot-pegs were down before she got on behind Huntress, and held on. The sooner they were gone from the docks, and over to the Iceberg, the better.

"On safely, Catwoman? If so, let's get out of here before that lieutenant comes up with any more questions."
Huntress made sure to keep the cycle balanced and quiet for Catwoman to climb on board. it marked a first time she had had a passenger, and a female one at that, on the bike and it made Huntress feel a bit uncomfortable, not that she felt she was in any danger from Catwoman. A side look back to the lieutenant told her he had wanted more from her, but more of what she couldn't say, though at any rate by the time he had summoned up the nerve to speak they were already on their way.
The ride to the Iceberg Lounge was as uneventful as she could make it, with Huntress knowing her arrival at the place itself maybe causing a stir. It wasn't as if a cape had never been there before, but more to the point they had never been there as a guest buying drinks, but then, Huntress wasn't even sure she would be allowed to stay - a dress code violation perhaps. Either way, she had made sure they arrived safely, and once parked, Huntress initiated the lock-down procedures, knowing that if anyone tried to mess with it, they'd be sorry for their troubles.
"Well, we made it here safe and sound at least, though I make no promises inside. All I can promise here and now is that I won't start anything."
