It was growing dark as the area was graced with the unusual sight of a classic car cruising the roads before it stopped in front of the amusement park and idled for a moment. It was never particularly difficult to work out when Oswald Cobblepot turned up somewhere, the expensive car, the personalised plates, he does love to make an entrance even if it's to somewhere he'd rather not be seen or even care to be in the first place.
There was often a distinct downside to doing business with certain people, vigilantes were particularly annoying and the Joker was dangerous, to conduct a deal involving both things wasn't something to be taken lightly but business was business and the reward would be worth it provided the Black Canary kept her end of the deal. A rare Quetzal bird wasn't something to be sniffed at. The lengths he had to go through for these things were ridiculous sometimes though.
Oswald himself sat in the back seat of the car between his waitresses/henchwomen Jay and Raven while Lark got the joy of driving. He might have preferred to bring a more competent, dangerous thug like Mike along but there were some advantages to those who didn't look too threatening and might provide a distraction or at the very least be able to take a 'joke' in a place like this, he didn't wish to start a fight or give the clown a reason to think anyone needed cheering up.
He can't stall in the car forever though, tempting though it is to drive off and pretend he was never there. At least he doesn't see any immediate danger and gives Lark a nod to open the door for the rest of them. Still cautious of his surroundings it takes him a moment longer to see Jay getting something off of the front seat. His expression immediately drops into a look of exasperation.
"What is that?" He questions sharply before Jay innocently looks up and holds up the little bakery box "Muffins, I thought it would help" There were some people Oswald would never pay to think. An irritated sigh and Oswald finds he lacks the energy to argue with the woman and just heads into the park, perhaps at least Harley would be distracted by such things if the Joker didn't decide to throw them around first "Joker old chap, are you around?" he raises his voice to question the air as he remains on the look out for clowns.

A dark night was over Gotham city when something was caught in Jokers camera surrounding the Amusement Park. A black limousine was shown on his monitor and he started to smile. "Well, well, well, it looks like a certain bird has come wondering to the wrong side of town. I wonder what he wants."
The Penguin had come looking for him for what reasons he did not know but he knew it would not be to chat and have some tea. Joker stared at the monitor for just a little longer while he got his stuff ready. "Joy Buzzer ,Check! Acid spitting flower, Check! Knife in the bottom of my shoe, Check! Exploding Dentures, Check!." he kept saying as he looked at his stuff and put them on himself.
"Well I guess it's time to say my welcome to my dear old friend." Joker laughed as he walked away from the monitor as soon as he saw Cobblepot get out of the limousine. The clown had walked about 20 yards when he heard Penguin calling out for him so he responded saying "Ozzy I'm Home" in a sing song style.
"Cobblepot what are you doing in my neck of the woods aren't you a little far away from your precious Ice Berg lounge?" the Clown said with a stern look on his face. "Well I guess I can answer a few questions for you but first how about a hand shake." Joker said as he extended his hand out with his joy buzzer on it.

There were few predictable things about the Joker but one could almost guarantee a trick and the joy buzzer, if one could call such a horrid device that, was an old favourite. Oswald spotted it with a glance but still considered shaking the hand and taking the shock purely to get off on the right foot. This was however the Joker they were talking about, Oswald was quite certain the thing was likely to occasionally be set to kill people and just because it wasn't sensible and they were on reasonable turned right now didn't mean he wasn't certain the Joker would kill him for a laugh if the insane clown wanted to.
Oswald forces a light chuckle as he places his umbrella into the Jokers palm to disarm the thing with a harmless buzz "Now now my dear fellow, you've got me with that one before" He waggles a gloved finger at the clown before going to step to the man's side and place an arm around the Joker's shoulders, an uncomfortable show of friendship the small man has to stretch a little for but also an attempt to get out of the direct path of fire and something he's hoping will keep the Joker from getting distracted by something shiny so he can get out of here sooner.
Cue Jay and her offer of the muffins. Well at least they're not shiny and fairly harmless.
Oswald pretends to ignore the gesture of his henchgirl and carries on "Business brings me again as usual my friend but I think it might interest you. How you would care for a vigilante served up at the time and place of your choosing?" The Black Canary wants to know where the Joker is but Oswald sees no reason not to let the clown in on her plan before he tips the bird off, he just needs her to give him his birds before they go around killing each other.

"Oh Ozzy you shouldn't have" said Joker in a friendly voice as he reached for a muffin "Ooh blueberry yummy". The Clown was not worried if the muffins were poisoned or not as he knew he would be unaffected. Having ingested himself with every known poison know to man he would be safe from what ever toxin if any were in the muffins. Not even Scarecrows signature Fear Toxin or his own brand of venom can harm him.
"So Cobblepot what is it you need from me exactly" he said with a mouth full of muffin."What vigilante are we exactly talking about.....and remember Oswald just because I I like you does not mean I NOT WILL WORK FOR FREE!!!" Joker began saying in a calm manner before adding a menacing threat and accidentally spitting some bits of chewed muffin onto Oswalds face. He knew The Penguin would pay him well for he was a rich man and could afford his services.
Joker took Oswald's hand off his shoulder and began to walk around the short man. "Let see here. You want me to kill or hurt the vigilante? And how much are you willing to pay for my special brand of work. After all if this is all business then I'm sure we can figure it all out." The Clown hated any vigilantes and he would be Delighted to kill one. The money was just a bonus.
"Well we should talk more about this Ozzy. Follow me into my office and we will talk some business." Said the Clown. Walking towards One of the rides in the park Joker sat down on the empty seat of the Roller Coaster cart. "Well Oswald you coming or not?" he extended his hand out to Penguin so he could sit next to him. Joker had one of his goons stand by the controls of the ride ready to start it as soon as Cobblepot was inside the ride.

Jay looked a little pleased with herself as the Joker praised the muffins while Oswald ignored the woman, still on edge as he watches out for the unpredictable nature of the clown. One thing may have gone down well but oh good lord, Oswald didn't want to pay to be rid of the nuisance. He could do that any time, either by telling her where the Joker was so she'd go away or with a well aimed bullet. He just wouldn't get his birds then. Well, he would if he just told her but now the Joker would probably figure out that Ozzy sent her. Darn that woman making him jump through hoops, she better pay for this.
He hides his irritation well as he chuckles once more "You are mistaken Joker, my friend. It is not me she's after, it's you" His smile falters a little at the offer of the roller coaster seat and he hesitates, trying not to show his distaste for the thing and failing to avoid a slight sneer though he attempts to soldier on "Or more precisely, she's looking for Harley's latest little pet and seems to have decided you're in the way" He takes a deep breath as he removes his top hat and holds onto it tightly as he gets into the cart, certain in the knowledge he's going to hate this. He can't refuse it after avoiding the buzzer, not if he wants things to remain on good terms for friendly dealings. Particularly as he's basically trying to get the Joker to think having Oswald rat out his location is a good thing.
Oswald's girls follow behind, Jay and Raven both moving to join the ride moments after their boss though Lark opts to hang back, waiting with the car where she figures she has a better chance of doing something useful if things go wrong. Whether that be fetching help or raiding the trunk for weaponry she hasn't yet decided but she keeps an eye on the Joker's goons.

With teeth together and a grin bared, a trickle of laughter emanated from the back of the Joker’s throat as he watched Oswald clamber into the ride. Once the fat man had been seated, Joker gave a half nod to his goon to start the ride. The one manning the ground equipment pushed the stick forward, thus making the roller coaster lurch forward as the chains began to pull the ride forward. Clanking began as they moved onward and the Joker pulled his shoulder and chest brace down that would keep him from tumbling out as the ride would eventually turn upside down some where near the middle of the structure. The purple painted fiberglass car body lead them forward up a steel ramp with each tug of the chain.
“Pet you say?” Joker asks and helps Oswald get his brace on by pulling down on the guard and pressing it down firmly upon the man’s chest and protruding belly. When it did not lock into place right away, he continued to push and force until the Penguin huffed and finally a snap had taken place, securing the man into place upon the seat. Joker thought about his two hyenas and wondered if Harley has added to their hairy and slobbery children. Then again Oswald had a way with words and he could be referring to someone rather than a something instead, which brought his anger levels up to the surface as he considers that Harley was getting him into trouble behind his back. Every time that she grew out of control, it was up to him to remind her who was in charge and when she would be put into her place.
Ignoring Jay and Raven’s safety, Joker dismisses them entirely for his main focus was on what the Penguin was telling him. They could pull the safety devices down on their own time or tumble out of the ride entirely for all he cared. Watching out for others henchmen was not his top priority. “What is it that my little jolly jester has done this time?” He drew his carnival cane close to him, flipped up the golden jester’s head that adorned the top, and pressed a red button. The button glowed and flashed on and off while the face on his digital watch showed a map of Gotham. There was a small red dot flickering across the screen of the water, showing Harley’s exact pin point location. As the cart drew closer to the top of the steel drop, Joker snapped the lid on his cane shut and raised his arms into the air as the coaster nose dived and spiraled downward. “Whoo! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha!” The coaster picked up momentum and Joker’s cane had bopped Jay’s head when the force of air pressure flung Joker’s arms back into her zone.
They moved downward until the track curved upward in which Joker placed his cane back onto his lap. “This is some fun, isn’t it Ozzy!” The coaster moved into a spiral loop and then moved back up along the track again, then slowly began to turn onto it’s side before plunging head first into a downward motion again. “Who did you say was after my Harley?” He shouted above the nose, barely able to keep his chin lifted up from his chest due to the pressure. He laughed mostly to himself upon the Penguin’s reactions to the motion of turning corners and riding under beams that arched overhead. To see others out of their elements and tossed into his own always gave him a cheap chuckle or two.
Once the ride was over, Joker turned to face his guests with an insane but pleased grin. “Alright kiddos, the first ride is free and any after that will cost you.” He waved his hand for the bars to rise then hopped out of the ride and turned to face Penguin while holding his cane in place. “So tell me Pengers, what’s the catch?” He added darkly and waited for the man to reply.
