Flashback - Metropolis One and a half years ago
-------
It had been six months since the meteor had hit earth. Six months of living with the humans. Six months of trouble almost since day one....
Long story short, another Kryptonian. And within that six months the journey that has been taken was not an easy one.
After being found by Kal-El aka Superman, events just seemed to keep unfolding. After the League found out and tried to help. The new Kryptonian was sent to train with Wonder Woman. Then only to fall into the hands of Darksied.
Being brainwashed to attack Superman. Only to be saved by him and hidden from sight for over several months. Faking the death of Kara Kor-El.
Things were quiet for the time. Six months had past, and training continued were it had left off.
A young seventeen year old Krypton by the name of Kara Kor-El had kept with the title of the supers and continued to work from there.
--------
Finally escaping and having freedom at last. No school. No worries. Kara was like any other teen enjoying the summer off from school. But as Supergirl she has work to do.
She could enjoy the free time later, but now she had work. Superman had informed her of a possible plot that Lex Luthor was planning.
Usually the missions against him seemed to be handled personally by Superman. Or the League. But Supergirl was still in the minors.
The League watching over her shoulder all the time. Keeping tabs. And have so with good reason after the whole brainwashing incident.
Though Clark thought this mission to be low key. Something Kara could handle. Something Supergirl could take on to stop any possible trouble. Rumor had it that Luthor had a special package dropped off at night that had taken some high security trips to get to him.
But there was no large news on the item. Just something small. Not a deadly weapon. No blueprints for such. And no meeting with any gangs. Lex had keep on the underground on his work.
Though this news came to Superman's attention by one of the other League member. And Supergirl was being sent to give a check in on Luthor.
And at that, Supergirl had taken on the messenger from the League.
Supergirl flew through Metropolis. Lex Corp in sights. Supergirl wasn't about to make a subtle entrance.
She crashed through one of the main office windows.
"Sorry about the damage Luthor. But Something important has come to the concern of the League. Care to explain," Supergirl said as she landed on the office floor.
Standing with her arms crossed and a serious expression on her face. She wasn't hear for games. She wanted an answer. And if he wanted to avoid the subject she would find out for herself.
Supergirl could be quite impatient. After all, she was a teen compared to Superman.

Inside his spacious office, Lex grumbles. Though the real reason behind his lack of patience and seemingly bitterness was due to the logistics of business. Logistics was the study and subsequent practice of transporting/outlining how a product or item gets from one place to another – a serious of calculations behind all the power. While this explains the grumbling, Lex’s true thoughts are about his plans. Being defeated time and time again by Superman hadn’t deterred his efforts- in fact they made him push deeper and darker. Lex was always searching for a point that he could concentrate on that would shatter Superman, like dust. This point took time, research, and money to find; any “normal” person would think that it would be hard to find such a point on someone like Superman. However, “normal” people are demented and violently extreme people. With a whisk of his pen and a few signatures later, Lex is out of the god-like room and in the elevator. From the reports and initial sightings, the weapon seemed to be –fully functional. T he fact of the matter was, Lex was suspicious on how this weapon would make a difference. The only known weapon to have seriously damaged superman and suppies alike was Kyrptonite –an exceedingly costly item- who’s range and capacity was unknown; yet, it made Lex think once or twice when using it…Seemingly denying that it would fall short – like his father. A slight chill pinches at his leg and spinal cord at the same time, making his smile glint with pain and shame as the doors of the elevator open.
As expected, Margaret Terra is at the desk answering three phones and vigorously typing emails and contacts at the same time. Her hiring was a decision Lex was prideful of – considering that he conducted the interview personally. Margaret graduated third in her class at Princeton and graduated with a two degree’s in communication and engineering. She even helped design and raise funding for the remodeling of this level. A formal and intoxicating smile flashed upon her as Lex walked to her desk. The phone’s and noise dropped three decibels as he waited patiently for Margaret to get off the phone. Margaret, being an educated and loyal employee, hanged the phone’s up without a concern. However, when she looked at Luthor the snazzy smile had changed meaning. What once was strong and loyal turned into boredom and lack of gratitude. “Margaret, I’ll need these photographs and numbers checked out by our logistical team. Then call down to storage-“ He says by way of informal introduction, however before he can continue an object crashes through a large window and lands to the left of Lex. Lex’s emotions mutate from anger to confusion to defense. The company employees shriek and head to the nearest exits. Margaret now visibly showing signs of intial panic secretly presses the emergency button. Who barge’s and demands from Lex Luthor? The entrance was distasteful, very similar to how Superman enters. Luthor’s lips curled as he giggled on her introduction. “ I didn’t know Justice League began sending teenage-hormonal angst’s at their enemies. The shareholders must be unhappy about how the “league” does their work.” Says a humourous and cunning Lex whose objective has turned away from mere CEO matters and now focuses on containing the threat. Atleast twenty five officers in special suits have entered the level.

Supergirl just stands there with her arms crossed and eyes slightly narrowed at Luthor. He wasn't going to get under her skin with that comment.
And by the panic she caused. She checked around slightly with her x-ray vision to see through the walls. Supergirl could see the twenty five officers within the halls, making there way in.
"You can tell your guards to stand down. As long as you don't give me any reasons to cause any trouble," she said.
She would care through with her threat. She wasn't Superman. And she had a bit of a short fuse at times. This being one of them.
Placing her hands on her hips, she would give him the chance to bring up the obvious subject as to why the League had sent someone to check in with him.
The sign on her chest was now more visible as to you the relation was to. Supergirl had never had a run in with Luthor. Nor had she planned on this. But the League was too busy at the moment to deal with Luthor.
"I'll repeat myself...Care to explain," she replied once again.
