Gotham City, the same it was as always. Nightwing crossed over into the city's lines without being noticed. And he knew it. Nothing was more fun than having the element of surprise. And that was one thing the Bat-family had.
Of course, Nightwing wasn't going to come into Gotham and just fight crime for the heck of it. Though he could if he wanted to. But he knew where his city was and Batman and Robin seemed to be keeping a handle on things lately again.
Though things still seemed off about Batman. And the best way to see what was going on behind the mask was to have the eyes on the inside of the cave. And what better way than through checking in with Tim.
Alfred could only say so much as for what he knows what is going on. But when it came to the street work. Robin would know best from working along side of Batman.
Then again, this meeting didn't have to just be seeing how Bruce was getting along and what issues there were. Nightwing knew there was always more to the whole being a partner to the Batman. When you were a partner, you did your fair share of the homework. And for a kid still getting the hang of the role, it can be difficult.
And no one knew that better than Dick Grayson. The first and original Robin. And as the ward of Bruce Wayne's, he was a brother to Tim. And sometime hanging out with your little brother was a good way to have a stress free patrol.
Well, at least with this brother it was. Jason on the other hand....Dick could do without the rivalry for one night when working with a member of the Bat-family.
Nightwing took to the streets of Gotham quickly. And he knew where Robin might be this time of night of this day of the week. What better place than patrolling the dockyard for grunt work when it came to drug dealers and crooks smuggling weapons in by sea way.
And for Nightwing, it didn't take him long to spot where Robin was with the location of the bike, it was usual to leave it several blocks away. And Nightwing went from there to find the Dark Knight's sidekick.
With ease and silence, Nightwing got to the dockyards and now stood in the alley way behind where Robin was located.
It wasn't until Nightwing spoke that he gave away his position to Robin. "Got you patrolling the docks tonight first. Let me guess next a sweep over central," Dick spoke up.
