The batmobile shot through the dark cave, coming to a halt on a slab of Earth dead center off the bat-cave. The lid shot back, and Bruce hopped out. He began to walk up the row of stairs leading to his computer. He peeled his mask back and took in a deep breath. It was at this point, he noticed the silence. No bats, no Alfred, no nothing. It was a silence that he could tell someone was preying on him. Hunting him within his own home.
"Whos there?... Show yourself!"
Batman yelled into the darkness. Usually when he yelled out in such a manor, the words would send hundreds of bats flying out into the air. But they weren't moving because they weren't there. Something had already came in and scared them off. Something was a miss, someone was here who didnt need to be here. But who?

Ra's stood over head on one of the higher ledges in the Cave. He previously watched the batmobile enter and now gazes at Batman while he shouts seemingly into the dark. Good, one of the rules I taught him, always suspect the unexpected. This way there's very little that can suprise him, thought Ra's.
"I like what you did with the place Bruce but it seems you took my guidance a little too serious." Shouted Ra's although a mere whisper in this place would sound like a man screaming.
While Bruce looked up for his old master, he quickly glanced behind to find him waiting for his greetings.

Batman listened as his demanding words echoed through the darkness of his lair. His tone wasn't responded to, or acknowledged in any way. Maybe it really was happening, maybe he was losing his mind. Had he finally been under so much pressure, his mental health had succumbed to it all?
All these questions running through his mind suddenly halted as he was responded to. That voice, It was a voice he hadn't heard in many years. A voice from the past. The voice of a man who had died and came back to life for many years on end. His old master and mentor was in his presence, Hiding somewhere in the darkness, lurking for the perfect time. All these tactics ran through Batmans head as he tried to figure out what to do.
"So did Alfred let you in? Or did you just find your way down here? I swear, im gonna have a logn talk with him about who is and isnt allowed in the bat cave."
He yelled in return, in an almost mocking tone. Ra's of course was the true master of stealth and agility. The one that had made him into the man he is today, while they trained in southeast Asia.

Ra's circled the Dark Knight with light steps, the hand made shoes barely made a noise. Once he came into the light, his full apperance was revealed. Mysterious yet not one to shy from a fight, deadly but not with out reason. His face seemed not a day older since their last meeting, the only differance was his clothing. As usual, he wore an expensive suit, white in colour with a crimson shirt beneath. His tie matched the shirt in both colour and texture.
"Who? That Old Man, you make run around for you in this pit of a Cavern? No He's never glanced upon me once."

Batman heard very faint foot steps. Almost to the point of where no one could hear them. It was only when he closed his eyes and fully concentrated on where it was coming from, could his ears pick up on it. Bats may have a blindness, but theyre surely not deaf.
From out of the darkness, the younger look Ras stepped into the light. He was sporting his expensive black suit, and crimson red shirt underneath. He always wore the same get up. Not one for theatrics. His eyes were fixed on his old master. His eyes were something to never shy away from. They were the eyes of a man that had lived a thousand lives, and died a thousand deaths. There was no fear in this man anymore, only madness.
"I really hate it when you get the drop on me.." Batman said
Batmans hands slowly dropped to his belt while he spoke to Ras. He pulled out a smoke grenade, and tossed it to the floor. The smoke shot out of the ball with a hissing sound, and the air was filled with the grey mist. Now was Batmans chance. He would strike quickly, and without hesitation.
Batman charged through the smoke with his elbow up, aimed straight at Ra's face.

Bruce's elbow shot towards Ra's with precision and power yet it connected with little more than more smoke. He circled the Batman waiting for his chance to strike. His eyes could hardly see through the mist but instead he just listened for Batman's movement. "You insult me Wayne, that trick might work on the rabble that you normally combat but not I."
Ra's actually was insulted by this attack. Not that he tried it but how he did it. His elbow was low and his feet bent, it was like he didn't wish to hit me at all, thought the Demon. "That is why i'm here, Bruce. There's more to me than terrorism, if teaching you more moves and tricks will aid you against evil then so be it."Ra's stopped moving and stood for his response.

Clearly his former master was still above him in hand to hand combat. A man who has lived a thousand lives, and died a thousand deaths. He's seen wars that not even history books remember. Experience and technique was definitely on his side. Not only could he read his moves, it seemed at times he could read his mind. It all went back to his time in southeast Asia, when he first encountered Ra's, and he sent him on a quest to find a flower, and bring it to the top of the mountain. Thats where it all began
Batman lowered his hands, and stood with his shoulder facing Ra's. His eyes were fixed on his former masters. His mind became clear, his limbs, motionless and fluent. It was once again time to do battle with his master. All the while, his past shot through his head
~Flashback~
Frost bitten, exhausted, starved, dehydrated. Bruce had found the flower Henry Ducard asked him to retrieve mere days ago, and was now on his way to the top of the himalayas, where he was told to bring it. He could feel the energy escape his legs, and the bits of snowflakes made the nerves in his skin burn even more. There, in the distance, now within sight, he could see the small village. It wasn't too far away, he had done it.
The sight of his goal so close gave him energy to continue on and complete the quest. His legs and arms moved faster with new found energy. He was almost there.
As he entered the village, his new found energy now gone, he noticed all the locals looking at him. Some would hide behind doors, look through windows, others would simply pause and stare. Where was he?
In the opening of the village, stood a single large building. That must be it.
Bruce made his way to the building, after climbing what had to be 50 flights of stairs, he didn't even knock, he just barged in, and fell to his stomach. Still gripping the flower, he looked up from the floor to see the man, Henry Ducard looking at him.
Bruce picked himself up, and moved towards the man. It was about to begin.
