Something wasn't adding up right. There were clues all over the city. Small ones. But hints to something nonetheless. What was it about these hidden message.
Was he going insane. Even while staying in Bludhaven he had notice these small facts not adding together. Someone was trying to contact the Bat-family. Not for help. And yet it didn't seem to be a threat against the city either.
This was most definitely the work of someone who knew them well. More so than the crazies in Gotham City. And with Batman busy handling the Joker, Black Mask, and Scarecrow recently, Nightwing decided to jump on this case.
He had picked up on it even from out of town. Someone was trying to get their attention. But why?
Dick found himself traveling back to Gotham, once again on a case. This seemed to happen frequently. Sometimes he wonders why he even left. But there were many reasons for that.
But this was something that had caught his interest. He had a few hunches as too whom might be trying to contact them. This was definitely someone who knew how to get into their heads. And obviously wanted to mess with them and wanted their full attention over something, but more secretive than most crooks.
This was someone who had been doing stuff like this for as long as Batman had been around. And this was someone who had been close in knowing too much about the Bat-family, but never revealed it to anyone else but their family.
Nightwing saw within an old warehouse, closed for several reasons, but used occasionally by the local villains for transport or trade. Though it had not been used in some time now.
But Nightwing knew someone was there. He had jumped down through and old sky light and onto the surrounded observation deck of the place. Landing and swinging off the railing and down to the abandoned cargo boxes. Pushing off and leaping off them to make a safer land to the ground below in the darkened warehouse.
Nightwing barely stood in the light that broke from the sky line. The full moon casting is light through the remaining sky lights on that side of the building.
Nightwing knew this could be an ambush, but he had a feeling this person came alone.
"I've got your messages. Now why the sudden appearance in Gotham and wanting to attract our attention. I thought you got the answer was no to your offers," Dick spoke out waiting for the other man to step forward that was within the building.
He was referring to the offer of joining this man and his mission. But the Bat-family did not see eye to why with him. But the guy had away of always trying to get what he wanted, or make you pay for refusing the offer.
