Tim really didn't want to stay in that stupid orphanage anymore. Both of his parents were dead, no doubt about that, but one thing was for sure, after sneaking out, he was definitely lost. His causual walk eventually turned into a fast walk to an almost panic run. He was in the worse part of Gotham City, which he wasn't too familiar with. Tim turned the corner and started to run down the dark alley. It smelled like cigarettes and alcohol. When the boy glanced behind him he accidentally ran into a few women. Strippers more than likely as they were stumbling out of a bar.
The boy looked up and swallowed hard. The women asked the boy if he wanted to have a good time. Tim's eyes widened, they definitely weren't the kind of girls that he was into. He suddenly ran into the bar where the two had stumbled out of. There, he saw strippers, a bar, flashing lights and everything else you could imagine. He ran through it before getting grabbed by a big guy. Tim looked up at the guy who had a hold of his shirt collar, basically lifting him up into the air. Tim struggled as he pleaded. "Let me go!" Tim was definitely having second thoughts about sneaking out.

"The Stacked Deck. Haven't passed out here in a while."
Jack was hit casually in the face by the double doors of the establishment as the gruff security guard stormed through. After noticing what he had done and who he had done it to, he was very apologetic and shaky. Jack reassured the man that he was fine but maybe next time just watch out for any potential patrons stood in the entrance as they could be quite common. The guard nodded subtly and continued on his march. Jack wiped the blood from his nose, restyled his hair and pushed open the doors...and stopped. He thought for a moment and cocked his head to the side before eventually doing a double take. The guard was carrying someone out of the club as he walked by. But, surely it wasn't a regular sized human being as he basically had him, she, it under his arm. Jack spun round to inspect the scene and to discover if it was truly a hobbit/midget that the bouncer was carrying.
The sight that greeted him was horrific. The burly, 7 foot security guard had a long thin blade pressed against his victim's throat, who in turn was being condensed between the bouncer and the cold brick wall of the alleyway the two were stood in. Jack was astounded that this was the way that honoured guests were treated in Gotham City but was even more disgusted to find that the poor hapless soul that the gorilla had in an inescapable deathgrip was, in fact as small boy, of only around 13.
Jack pounced immediately. He ran forward, waving his arms in the air and screaming.
"Hey! Hey! HEY! You can't to that to a god damn child! Who the hell do you think he is? Hey! HEY!"
Jack tanked across into the alleyway to to bet with the huge hairy orang-utan put down the boy and turn his blade on him. Ryder slowed up as he reached the man who now had a murderous fire in his eye.
"Just calm down big guy, take it easy, he's just a kid."
Jack lifted his arms to around chest height, kept his elbows bent and splayed his hands in a calming position. He had to calm this bumbling oaf down. The bald headed guy just smiled and spoke in an east London accent.
"What's it teh you, pretty boy?"
Jack was slightly worried.
"Well, nothing really, well, I mean but...c'mon man, he's only a kid no need for the knife eh?"
The hairy cockney just smiled a gruesome grin and shook his head. There was a brief moment of pause before the brick lunged at Jack.

Tim couldn't help but panic, the guy was stronger then him, no doubt so all he could do was scream and struggle. It was no use, the guy had a tight and firm grip on the boy. Tim watched as another man came running towards them, waving his hands and yelling at the guy who was taking him towards the alley. Tim listened as the guy said that Tim was indeed his child. "His child?" he thought?
The boy was let go as he watched the two. This definitely wasn't going to turn out okay, but at least Tim was out of the grasp of the guy. He definitely wanted to go home .. well the place wasn't exactly home as he had no parents. Tim sighed at the thought. "If only Batman was here." he whispered to himself.
Tim had seen glimpses of Batman, oh how he wanted to know the man behind the mask. He thought it would be exciting, but hopefully one day he could. The boy edged his way into the alley, as he kept his eyes on the two men. Maybe he could run away, but the one problem with running in the opposite direction of someone who was trying to kill you, was the fact that Tim didn't know where he was running to.
