That was it.
He was fed up with being given the jobs of subduing unruly inmates. Who took one sight at his appearance and decided against a fight. Ghast cared not for the curfew that was in effect. He was considered a federal agent after all. It didn't take him long to sneak off base in the back of one of the Trucks.
Once he was within the city limits He jumped the back and took off into the dark of the night pulling his hood up to hide what of his disfigurement that he could as he decided that wondering the streets was the best Idea. No one would no where to look for him, not that any one would. Well one person would.

James Gordon was cruising the streets. He had taken the patrol that night, taking any chance to get away from the Police Office, away from the ins and outs and the red tape and ropes of the P.R.O.T.E.C.T. Act. He had let an officer go early from his shift in order to use the police car. It was like his early years on the squad in Gotham or even Chicago. He couldn't believe now just how much he missed it. Cars whisked by him, slowing at his presence like they all did.
It was familiar, stress free, and James Gordon was happy for that. He too had escaped from a prison where he was looked to as a sort of monster, one who people weren't sure, despite his words whether he supported the F.B.I.'s plans or valued his officers.

With his hands in his pockets, Ghast was free for a moment, free of the commands, the hypocritical rules he had to follow while handling prisoners. If they were so much of an Issue, and the government had already taken away their rights what was the harm in taking the few that remained and just executing them. Of course that meant there would no longer be any worry about the fiasco with the Question escaping.
His thoughts were always towards the darkside, but there could be no light without the dark. In his thoughts Warren kicked a empty can that happened to be lying in his path out of the way. It bounced a few feet in front of him before he caught back up with it to kick it again. This time into the side wall of a police cruiser.

Well, so far there had been no trouble, but Gordon was actually a little more than worried about such a thing. No trouble, just meant something bigger was planned in Gotham. It never failed. He'd prefer the petty crimes over the larger ones any day. He had always thought he'd appreciate the government actually coming to their aid. Yet, not like this. Extreme measure would be needed, he'd known that, but this had to be pushing it. Punishing everyone? This wasn't the Old Testament, the F.B.I. wasn't God.
Then something hit the car. He saw it deflect off the side, a can had bounced off the driver's side. He backed up the color and rolled down the window after he'd come to stop. He saw the man, hooded.
"You aren't trying to hit cars with cans are you? That's dangerous."

"If i was trying to hit it I would have tossed it.", Ghast said placing a good bit of distance between himself and Gordon. He had no need for questions to start, well there were bound to be some. It was after curfew after all. The corpse had expected someone to run into him, though he preferred it to be one of the rouges. So then atleast he had something to return with and ease some of the yelling that was bound to come his way.

Jim watched the man, he seemed in young in the way he held himself and in his stature. He also took note of the distance he had placed between himself and the cruiser. "You know you're out past curfew, don't you? What's your name and where are you heading?" He knew the man didn't want to deal with him, but he wasn't planning to arrest him. People lost track of time and even here that over suspicion was unnecessary.

"No where, " He had no destination. That and he wasn't exactly allowed to give his name. " Ghast, And I know about the curfew, " He still kept his distance from the cruiser. No point in scaring the man to death, as funny as that would be.

Jim raised his eyebrows a moment before they furrowed. He reached for the door to open it and get out of the car, speaking as he did so. "Ghast? Your friends call you that?" The door opened and stepped out. "No destination...so where did you come from?"

"your assuming that I have em" Ghast said taking a few steps back from Gordon, but not far enough that it would look like he was about to run. . "Somewhere" It was better then just, If i told you I would have to end you, line. Well he could, but this guy was on his side, but he was the only one that knew that right now.

Gordon crossed his arms, taking the man in now. He had been correct the man was young, though he still had a hard view of his face. He smiled in amusement at the vague answer; it seemed he had a lot of those.
"Do I need to return you to that somewhere?"

"Not really, I can find my way back when I'm ready" He said watching the man now amused. Slightly amused himself that Gordon found his sarcasm amusing, it was rare that his trait was appreciated.

"And I'd be happy to let you do that. I'd let you on your way, but there are a lot who aren't as easy-doing as me." He said. "I don't want you getting in trouble just for walking on a street."

Warren sighed, either way this man wasn't going to leave him alone. "Look I'm with the people who set up the curfew. I'm just... tired of them right now". For some reason it had always been easy for Ghast to talk to someone who actually gave him the due respect. "I'm not trying to cause any problems for you, I'm just... needed to get away for a bit"

"You're with the FBI?" He asked in disbelief, eyes going wide. He sure didn't look the part. "I'm going to need more than your word, I'm afraid."

Ghast groaned and rolled his eyes beneath the hood, Before he pulled his hands from the jacket while he walked towards Gordon. Holding out a badge in his gnarled right hand for the cop to see, "Proof enough? if not call them and ask them If they know where Ghast is.."
