Crane easily Grabbed the little monster in its mid air attack. "You have once again Failed, Cat." He said as he walked to the door with him, setting him out side of the room before closing the door.

Irving sulked as he was caught and as soon as he was stationed out of the door, he began to paw at it. He didn't mewl just scratched until the bathroom opened. He turned his head to Anna then rushed to her purring as he wrapped around her legs. She looked down at him smirking and then back at the study door. She knew what was going on here. She raised a brow, "Have you been pestering Jonathan?" She asked him and shook her head.
She went to the study door and opened it. Irving tried to go in, but Anna entered first and shook her head, using her foot to nudge him back out and shutting the door again. "I see you were assaulted while I was away." She looked over at Jonathan as she moved from the door.

"assaulted is putting it mildly. " He said returning to what was left of the papers to grade. well aware of the collection of new scratches that were starting to burn on his collar. "I wouldn't set in the chair by the way. Its wet" He felt no need to explain the reason behind it.
Anna was smart enough to put the pieces together,

And he didn't need to explain, she could surmise what Irving'd done to get that, but the answer was, the cat could have done a lot. "Thanks for the warning." She didn't move towards him, instead she began to look along the shelves in the room at the books Jonathan had stored there. He had work to do, and so she wouldn't disturb him, she merely wanted to spend some time with him, it had been a little while.
She removed a book from the shelf and began to thumb through it as she moved to his side, occupying herself so he could focus on the mediocre essays fully.

Crane continued his work, not paying much attention to anything else for the time being. It was tedious work, the only thing that he would ignore on a normal bases was the constant pawing at the door.

Anna glanced every so often at the door where Irving was furiously pawing. She tried to ignore it, but she was not as able to distract her mind from the noise. She finally looked up at the door, frowning. She couldn't ignore it, she sighed and stood up and opened the door. Of course Irving came in and Anna passed him as she returned to her previous position in the room.
"No more ideas, there." She told him with a pointed finger. "Because you know I'll side with him." She pointed at Jonathan. Irving huffed and turned away from her and went to sulk on the top of the chair, which wasn't wet. She shook her head at the cat, as he turned away from them. He could pout then. He was as bad a spoiled child.
She looked at Jon. "That's why I'm glad we don't have kids. He's a handful all on his own."

"Banish the thought Or die slowly" He said on the subject about kids. The cat was indeed enough. He set down the last of the papers before moving to put them back in the bag to hand them back out at the college next week.

Anna snickered, "The thought is banished. You know I don't certainly don't want any." Had they been just a professor and police officer, maybe, but even then Anna wasn't so sure. The simple fact was, neither of them wanted children, and that had been made clear not long after their relationship became serious. It was one of the easiest decisions they'd made over the years.
"Were they really all that bad?" She asked him, then watching him put away the papers.

Anna gave him a long between surprise and amusement, before she screwed her face up into a cringe. "Wow...that's even worse than bad. That's horrible. If they're that horrid, I'm amazed you've had not a brain aneurysm from all the stupid." She half-laughed. "They've gotten progressively worse every year. Isn't that just comforting...well I guess it could be, just not for Gotham."

Anna didn't say anything at first. She just smiled knowingly and shook her head. "You never know, it might be the enlightening experience they need." She smirked before she leaned back and stretched.

"Of course, Death is always enlightening. Then again so would be a criminal charge of several dozen accounts of pre- med murder."

"Not saying that couldn't happen, but you've had plenty of experience and I believe you could get away with it, if you ever actually wanted to do it. Gotham University isn't known for its security. The boys who actually care about the place, I hear them at the station talking about it." She knew it was only talking drily in his frustration, but it was always good to know if he ever actually wanted to do it.

"If I ever wanted to do it, It would have been done a long time ago." He knew she was only trying to help, however it was doing no such thing.
