Dick kept his distance at the moment. He wasn't about to ask the question again. If something was up, it really wasn't any of his business unless she wanted to say so. But if she wasn't feeling well and they had to call the hospital, he would do so. By the way she was acting, it seemed to be more emotional then physical pain.
Though, he couldn't tell what from exactly. But he had seen looks like that before. He wasn't a mind reader. Dick looked over at the two detectives as they saw down again. They looked just as confused as he did.
"Can I get you anything," he asked. "Water?" That was all he could really think about at the moment. The best thing to do was try and get her relaxed and her mind off of what ever it was that was upsetting her.

"Yes, water would be great" Lisa felt her head it was warm, she needed more sleep but she could never get it when people were committing crimes are her phone was ringing late at night. She had already made a mental note of it that she would have the detectives drop her off when they left the apartment, she had been at the office for many hours a break was demanded by the D.A. and the detectives, so a break would be forged. Forged sounded like a medieval term to Lisa, like forging metal or something.
Strange how the man didn't care about his problems yet was so eager to help her, he wasn't a doctor nor was a policeman. There was more under those six packs for sure. But it wasn't interrogation time, she wasn't like Tiffany who would say your a demon if you committed a crime out of survival. "Are you sure your going to be able to handle the situation?" She really didn't want the topic to go back to work but she didn't want chris coming out either, she had healed but somethings like that still bring pain to her.
The detectives checked the room again, it was something to do. Grabbed the evidence and left, soon returning and sitting down in the chair next to Lisa. They were anxious to leave or beat someone up for sexual crimes, but this wasn't Lisa's "charge everyone' day" after all Lisa must have filled out twenty subpoenas in one week. Her hands were tired and her feet were burning from the damn heels she bought. Heels were the worst thing someone could buy, she bought them out of formality then threw them in the trash if they were dirty. She did have one comfortable pair, she wore those to events that were private usually.

At her answer, Dick made his way to the kitchen, keeping as much weight off his right leg as possible. It didn't take him long to get into the kitchen. He opened one of the cabinets and grabbed a tall glass, letting the door shut gentle with a thud as he moved on toward the refrigerator. Within on the right side of the double doors frig, he grabbed a pitcher of water and filled the glass three fourths the way. Placing the pitcher back in he pressed the glass against a dispenser on the left door of the frig to get some ice for the glass.
Once he had gotten the glass of water for her, he walked back over to the woman sitting in the chair, hearing her question as he came over. He kind of shrugged at the question as he handed her glass.
Dick moved away and back towards a seat not too far away from her as her detectives came back in and sat near her. "I think I can handle it. The bank doesn't scare me," Dick replied. "This isn't the first time I've been through a few misunderstandings like this. He took his own see again, looking over in the ADA's direction.
He hoped she was alright. She had just seemed flushed at that moment. He wondered if it was a either lack of sleep, her work, or some other problems. Either that or a combination of all three. Dick wouldn't be surprised. He knew some of the police worked hard in this town honestly. And this woman came off that way to him. She seemed to take her approach to the situation around her like Commissioner Gordon did. That's what Gotham needed was a less corrupt police system and political ones as well.
"I tend to keep a every good track record of my financial standings and accounts," he replied. "Then again, who doesn't miss a bill every now and then. He had admitted the last part. He wasn't perfect, but he knew what he was doing.

Lisa quickly took the glass and drank the water, it was cold and refreshing much like her own tap water except that this was probably cleaner. Lisa's crappy apartment had bad water and electricity which worried her mother and friends because anyone could just break in and hurt her or steal something. Another reason why Lisa was looking for a classier yet safe apartment where she could rest and not be hurt. If the market was better and the prices were lower she would have already bought one. More than an apartment, Lisa wanted a house, but not even her pension would be able to pay for it. She was getting decently paid for her job, but she wanted more considering more work with files and computers would be needed along with subpoenas and cross examinations. Lisa promptly put the glass down, speaking in a gritty tone, "Seems that there's always someone out to get your money. That's why you need people like me and Commissioner Gordon".
Mr. Grayson also mentioned that like others it was human to make mistakes especially finanical ones, "You don't have to convince me Mr. Grayson, when my mother wasn't paying her bills her interest rates went sky high, I had to pay her bills from Fordham. Then she got a better well paying job and could pay for herself. I know about the hardships all to well to be honest." Now her hair was in a different pose as if in a screenshot for a movie. Though her curly red hair always looked good no matter the position on her back.
The trip was coming to an end soon, because she recieved a text message along with the detectives. Though she could stay longer, the captain could wait.

He sat down across from the ADA and the detectives, laying his crutches off to the side and leaning forward intently. He listened to her words, taking them in as she continued on. He knew what he was dealing with. Honestly, Dick has dealt with worse, things that were not his own problems. But of course he wouldn't say thought out loud. That was only for him to know. It was his other life.
"I understand. And I am not refusing the help. I know I could find away to handle it on my own. But the bank wouldn't take me seriously if I went on it myself," he replied. He knew she was right. Though he knew of ways to deal with it. "I understand it is a part of your job to help people with problems like my own. And I will allow it. I rather not have to go in circles about this."
He looked over at her. She was a beautiful and intelligent woman. He respected that she had worked hard to get where she was today. He would question her on that. The hard work showed.

Lisa pityfuly smiled, she really couldn't help it. But the man was being stubborn about the whole thing, most people would be freaking out, but he took it like it was not stressing over it. Well for god sake it was tax law not criminal law. "Thank you, Mr. Grayson" She wasn't through with him yet though. Something out of the corner of the room caught her eye. She rose up rather quickly and walked with intentions over to the cabinet which had some sort of material hanging out from it.
Now she couldn't search his house legally for something that would be foolish, She tried opening the cabinet but it was locked. "Mr. Grayson would you care to open this cabinet." She couldn't take any chances, Grayson could well be someone working with the batman.
If he was, she would have no choice but to arrest him, The D.A. office was getting pressure from the FBI. Vigilantes would be treated the same as the Rogue Gallery imprisoned. This wasn't justice but she had to do it. The detectives who were sitting down were about to leave when Lisa stopped by the cabinet.

By the look of her smile, he could tell she didn't seem to think she was getting any where with him. He didn't really understand what she was trying to get out of him. He had admitted he would take the D.A.'s help and he was willing to participate in the events that lay ahead without any fuse.
It really wasn't a big deal, he has seen worse and had been through worse. He remembered how much paper work there had been when Bruce had first been taking him in. Dick sat and watched as he saw Miss Novak notice something else in the room. He wasn't to sure he liked how she had seemed to rush over to it.
At that, he had a feeling there was more to this visit than she had made it out to be. Dick wonder just what was she starting to think. He knew the police were tracking down on the vigilantes, but he had not given off any signs of hints that he was in fact Nightwing.
Though he noticed she was fixated on getting into the cabinet when she tried to open it, he did notice the piece of material caught in the door. He wasn't all that concerned about it. Though. she seemed to have other thoughts on her mind. Dick had a feeling he knew what she might be thinking. He was no mind reader, but her last reaction had tipped him off easily.
Dick gave her a questioning look, as if puzzled by her sudden change of subject and fascination with the cabinet in the room. And at her question, he stood up taking his crutches underneath either arm again. Dick gave a slight nodded. If he acted like he was hiding something the woman would only want to then further investigate him home. He made his way over toward the kitchen and once there, opened a drawer and got a key out.
He held the key in his right fist as he slow crutched across the room to where Miss Noval was standing. Once he got over to her, he gave her a puzzled look once again as he said,"I really don't see why you have the need to search through my things."
He stuck the key into the cabinet and unlocked it. The only things she would find in there were a few jackets hung up and some boxes that he help locked away. Most of the boxes containing records on a new design for a motorcycle that he had planned out. And another box had jewelry that had belonged to his mother. There was also a nice wooden jewelry box that belonged to Barbara. He only kept it look to protect the times while they were out.
Dick almost wanted to smirk at this new situation. If the woman had really thought he was a vigilante, wouldn't see think he would try harder to hide everything out of sight? Which he did. He had a whole other room with hidden code activated systems build into them for extra security.

Lisa didn't know what the think her mind was racing through thoughts, and when he opened up the cabinet, nothing incriminating was in there. Now she looked like an idiot asking the man for things. She was taking the situation over-board, as the detectives also sighed because she was putting them through something that they didn't have to be here for, but as an insurance policy they were. "I'm sorry Mr. Grayson, As you can see I have a bad habit, my apologies." Lisa had overstayed her welcome a fact now that she was sure of, the conversation wasn't going to go anywhere. And her phone buzzed it was a text message. "Head to West Gotham Roosevelt street shootout going on." Lisa put the phone away, and looked at the detectives who were both called. They walked out of the apartment.
Lisa went back to her seat and finished the water, then putting the financial records that she had back into her briefcase. "Thank you for being co-operative with me. Your helping, Check your email soon, hopefully this won't go to trial but if it does you will have to testify. And thanks for the glass of water, it helped." Lisa walked to the door, her hair now somewhat more straighter than when she walked in. Before she shut the door the whole way, she addded, "Oh and one more thing, I would tell Barbara about this" Lisa closed the door, and followed the detectives back to the car. Lisa was only warning, though if this did go to court things would be piled onto her desk for sure, and to think that she just finished re-organizing everything. She opened the black door to the car and sat down firmly, the car left promptly down to the shootout.
