Tiffany straightened his jacket as he was lead down the hallway. The smell was encompassing and the bricks disgusted him. Each step made him feel like he was walking the journey to hell. He imagined hell to be like such a place. Everyone within its grasp soulless and evil. The tormented screams of demons taunting them for their wicked ways. He greatly disliked this building just as he disliked Blackgate, but they would soon be empty. These cages would be left and the men would face their soon deaths away from his wonderful country.
The United States should never be tainted with such filth. More importantly, the United States should not be funding such filth. The guards seemed to straighten as he passed. All had been informed of the FBI presence, but only a few knew of his plans for the facility. He walked deeper and started noticing that glass that caged these creatures showed nothing, but empty cells. They had names of the costume freaks that were somewhere running about Gotham.
They would not be returning here.
He continued down the hall to see the woman that had become a constant annoyance during his time Gotham, and what he heard made him cringe. She was attempting to make a deal with satan personified. She made herself more and more suspicious as the days continued and soon she would be arrested to join those she helped.
"Assistant DA, I will remind you that the government does not make deals with enemies of the state," he stated calmly as he walked towards the glass. The guard went to enter the door for him. "Keep it shut," he ordered. The guard flinched. Tiffany would not be in the same contained area with a demon who attached onto others as easily as glue. He was no fool.
He finally turned to see a man in a straight jacket. The grin was enough to tell that the man had darkness inside of him. He almost wished he had hand sanitizer on him to clean himself of the contagiousness of evil. He would be dead though and that gave Tiffany great pleasure. When he was transfered it would be straight to an execution line.

Lisa shaked her head to the Joker, "I won't be taking your deal, but maybe the FBI will" She looked at Tiffany as if she saw a desk; couldn't care less about the dim witted man. She did however choose to respond, she walked out of the cell as the guard hastly closed the cell. ."Frankly, My business has nothing to do with yours, I don't need to explain myself."
She looked down at the ground seeing a puddle of water. Her demeanor again resuming her rigid outlook.. Lisa looked back at the Joker. The man needed help, both clinical and pyschiatric. Except that joker couldn't be helped. "What brings you to Arkham, Mr. Tiffany". Soon as she said that she felt a breeze, come from the south hall. Within seconds of the breeze the yello lights flickered on and off, on and off. Arkham must not have a good electrical grid, or someone is scfrewing with her.

The Joker waited for the ADA to exit his cell before pressing his face against the glass like a little kid would trying to see their favorite animal at the zoo. He watched the interaction between the Fed and the ADA with glee. There was dissension in the ranks and it was about to get worse.
"I told you you couldn't afford my prices, Miss Novak. Hehe... women, eh Suit?" He turned his attention to Agent Tiffany curiously, studying the man like a book. "What's wrong, Agent Tiffany? You don't want to come see Gotham's pride and joy in his cushy little cell? Thanks for the new walls, by the way. The government really spruced this place up, heheh." He stared at the man devilishly before stepping back, plopping himself back down on his cot.
The FBI agent was of no concern to the Joker. Even if he was here to execute the crazed clown, the Joker wasn't worried. He'd done his damage and his death would do even more. Harley knew what to do in the event of his death, and it wasn't pretty.
He listened to Lisa Novak before continuing, harping in on her own words. "Yes, what does bring you to Arkham? Need some therapy? We've got plenty of room, what with your agents running down all the costumed freaks in this town. I'm sure they could let you in Harv's cell. Just avoid Two-Face's side... he get's a little testy when you touch his stuff, hehehehehee!"
While many of the inmates would have be perturbed by Tiffany's look of disgust, Joker was encouraged by it. It meant he was doing all the right things; at least, right in his mind.

As always, Lisa felt like a small pebble in his shoe. A constant agitation, but for some reason difficulty to get rid of. She was wrong within her very first comment. Everyone's business within the city now had to deal with him. Especially hers with how suspicious she had been on the bridge. She would be arrested eventually for treason if she continued to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. He would not have corruption in his government and she seemed tainted by it.
He merely glanced at the clown who felt the need to taunt. He purposefully manipulated his words to get the most reaction. He wondered silently if the man truly was satan because only satan would be so talented with his tongue. He tried not to feel the slight irritation that the man was attempting to wile up. Tiffany did truly hate the governments money going into buildings like these, but at least they made the appearance match the very people it held.
Tiffany felt no need to remark on the joke, and his lips stayed in a boring straight line. He glanced at the ADA, and answered his question with one word, "Information." He was here for numerous reasons actually. He was here to judge the layout of the building, find the weak spots, interview the employees to determine the questionable ones, set up better security with his own men, learn the schedules of everyone within, and judge each person within the walls to determine their transfer location. He had a large amount of information to acquire if he hoped to transfer this man and other notable rogues without an incident. He would not let anyone make a mistake. Since he was already here he had decided to face the demon in person. If he could not handle speaking with the creature then he would not be able to control it.
He turned his eyes to the clown, "Last locations to each member of the rogue gallery?" he asked, but with how straight forward it sounded, it was more like a statement. "You get no deal, but you will no longer be alone," he commented on the other empty cells around, "Even the devil has Brutus, Judas, and Cassius."

The Joker sat back on his bench in his cell, leaning forward thoughtfully. This guy was going to be fun to mess with, possibly more fun than the Bat? No, but still fun. "Hmm... lemme grab my address book..." He looked around his cell before stopping confoundedly. "Oh, hmm, they must have confiscated it during my cavity search..." He shrugged with false regret before breaking down into laughter.
"Let's get one thing straight. Tiffany. I'm worse than the devil. I do what I want when I want how I want why I want. And I don't need anyone in here with me! I'm happy enough on my own! Heheh!" He bounced up and down on his bench before continuing.
"Now, if it were that easy to get me to give information then I wouldn't be the notorious Joker, now would I?" He stared hard at the man in front of him, his smile growing every moment.
He had heard rumors of the agent; mostly that he was arrogant and persistent. Who was dumb enough to try and interrogate the Joker with pure intimidation? Regardless, this was just further entertainment for the twisted clown.

Lisa listened to their conversation. Does Tiffany actually think he is going to get answers? He can't threaten the clown, because the clown doesn't care and brushes it off. Regardless if he has leverage over the joker, what good does it to negotiate with someone who can't be negotiated with. Lisa's a good negotiator and if she can't reason with the man then hardly anyone else will unless they want Gotham to burn.
Bad enough as it was, the FBI should be working with her, not against. If the man was so dangerous that any attempts to move him to a secure location failed, well then it was time to bring out the big guns; batman. Now even though she hasn't met him, he is probably worth the trouble to talk with him. Since the only person he likes to talk with is batman, only a deal would be made if Batman talked with joker first.

The joke was little concern to Tiffany. He assumed that reaction would occur. For a man who stressed to chaos, he was predictable. Every human being followed a predictable habit because every human being was forced to follow the rules in some form or another. The Joker's rule was to cause the greatest reaction from his audience. It was a pathetic rule and idea that steamed from pride. Just another example how the devil has twisted this clown's mind.
The shadows seemed to be engulfing the clown as if licking his face as he shouted against the devil. All demons believed they were more powerful then the devil. They all were to arrogant to realize their place. But all were weak compared to the Lord, so Tiffany felt little for the man's threat. He did not care if the clown was the devil himself. Tiffany had the lord on his side and therefore would win.
He kept his form straight and proper as he listened to more pointless bragging. This was not the information he desired. It was wasteful. He was on a mission and he would prefer to solve the problem as soon as possible. He would waste exactly five more minutes of his time on the demon before going in different direction. He checked his watch.
"Okay then," he stated, "You want to be alone. I will make sure then to lock up the Batman in a different section of Arkham."
He inwardly smirked. Everyone had rules. Everyone had a method. The Jokers rules all revolved around one man, the Batman. Four minutes and forty seconds.
Tiffany was so focus on his task that he hadn't considered the DA now learning of his plan to take away the vigilante, but her opinion didn't matter anyways.

The Joker laughed. It wasn't his typical maniacal laugh. Nor was it the happy-go-lucky laugh. No, he was laughing at Agent Tiff. Laughing at his presumptuousness. Laughing at the fact that he was dumb enough to think he could actually get close enough to the Batman to catch him. The Joker didn't think this man would even see the Batman without the vigilante intending for him to.
"Tiff, Tiff, Tiff... are you sure you don't belong in Arkham? You seem a little delusional." He leaned forward towards the glass, his smile mirroring it's reflection towards him. "But, if that's supposed to intimidate me, then you won't get anywhere in this town bucko." He stared from the FBI agent to the ADA, noting their facial expressions curiously. "Miss Novak, you don't seem to agree. Please, tell us what you think of Agent Tiff's brilliant idea to capture the Batman?"
He, of course, was just evading and continuing to play games. He wanted to pit these two together. They obviously didn't agree nor even like each other. He loved exploiting this.

Lisa knew that he was trying to cause a fight since his eyes burned with revenge and sadism. Lisa looked into the man's eyes, it was like an abyss of darkness with no way out. Thankfully the glass separated her from him. Lisa opened the door and barely walked in, " I think that batman is smart enough to know when he's being set up." She turned and walked out the door buzzing then locking behind it as she turned and went back to the window watching the interview again.
The metallic and grey paint was breaking off, old and sanded brick lay cornered in the center of the wall, with sheets of strong plastic and sand. The smell of rats and vermin annoyed her nose, as she sniffed and quietly sneezed.

If Tiffany was the type of man to roll his eyes he would have at that moment. Batman was just a man and like every man since the end of Eden, he was flawed. It only took one flaw and Tiffany could find a way to track him. He had notice one thing about Gotham in his time here. Every person within the city limits had become accustom to the culture. It was almost sick how people no longer cared about a men dressing as bats and clowns. They had all given up caring because to change anything would mean hard work. No one had hope in change, and so when he mentioned change they all doubted it....or no one wanted change.
The thought made Tiffany frown in disgust. Everyone had been tainted by this evil. He looked at the Joker's pressed face on the glass. He did not care if the demon doubted his ability. As a an evil creature he was suppose to plant seeds of doubt into men's minds, but Tiffany knew the lord had faith in his success so doubt was never there. When Novak opened the door, his frown deepened. Was this woman an idiot? To think Arkham allowed people like her within the building who careless opened cells to dangerous criminals! They wondered why they escaped. His hands stayed by his side with a stiff expression as he judge how far the glass door open and how far the Joker was too the exit. He glanced at the guard and his weapon. Could the Joker reach that? Yes. Tiffany took note to his own gun underneath his suit jacket. He needed to be ready to aim the gun in the guards direction if Joker does go for it. He would possibly use the idiot woman as bait. He glanced at the straight jacket. The Joker had escaped from those before. Tiffany didn't appear panic from his outward appearance, but he was very observant. When the door finally locked again, Tiffany found himself giving the woman a glare. She was quite lucky or she just knew the Joker personally. His thoughts went back to how suspicious she was to be at his attempted assassination and now she happens to be talking with the Joker and causally walking into his cell...
The woman was either complete fool or corrupt. To Tiffany, both seemed logically possible. He glanced at his watch. Three more minutes. "I have been hearing that statement quite a lot since I've walked into Gotham. Originality must not be your strong suit," he stated as he glanced from the watch back at the Joker with a dull expression. "I don't particularly care for your opinions of me. I am merely stating the facts. Even if you doubt their occurrence, the same outcome will happen. The city is in the governments hands now. So if you would like to corporate things might be more pleasant for you. If you don't wish too, I hold no qualms." Tiffany judge the man in front of him. The man was clever and devious. It would be difficult to move him. He would more likely use his silver tongue to manipulate the guards who were order to transfer him. Wether the Joker realized it or not, he was providing Tiffany with valuable information. It was a glimpse into the type of mind this city attracted, pure evil but intelligent.
"I had heard you had a lust for chaos," Tiffany stated thinking of the many demons who had that same lust. "I found that notion odd since all your actions are merely a repetitive game. You escape, you murder, the Batman captures you, you escape again. The people of the city have become numb to you because it is all the same. It is sad how this city has fallen, but as it has fallen so have you. Chaos does not come from routine so I don't particularly understand how continue to attach yourself with it. Nonetheless, I also don't particularly care. I am merely pointing out the fact that if you wish to be unpredictable you could attempt something different."
Tiffany almost felt like he was playing dance with a rattle snake. You step one way calmly. You step another, but the threatening rattle is always there, but Tiffany knew the weakness of having sin and could manipulate it around a person until they strangled themselves.

The Joker smiled, laughing maniacally. Perhaps he was wrong about this fellow. He liked the mind games, too. Joker had to respect someone who tried to take his own shtick and use it against him. "Y'know, Tiff, you're not that different from me." He let his smile thicken before continuing. "You like mind games, Tiff. Unfortunately, they don't work too well on me."
He listened as the man continued to proclaim that he could capture the Batman. It was all irrelevant. Whether he captured him or not, the Joker would be free eventually. It was then that he would take the Batman for himself. This Agent planned to exploit the Batman for who he really was, and the Joker could not have that. If the Batman's true identity was released, then the charade would be over and every vigilante in this city would be done. Life would be so boring without the Batman and the Joker would not live a boring life.
"What makes you think I haven't already come up with a new plan? Perhaps I don't want to murder any more. Maybe I want to become a member of the church!" He laughed sickly, looking between the Agent and the ADA. "You say that I don't create chaos, but that's incorrect. This city runs in fear of me. Any time I'm free on the streets, the people of Gotham look over their shoulders a second time, afraid they'll see a clown face.
"You may not think I cause chaos, but you don't look in the right places, Agent Tiff. To you, this city is already chaos." He grinned mischievously. He had so much planed for this city; now he would have to add the good Agent to his plans, as well. Perhaps the ADA, too.

Tiffany as usually again frowned as if I was making his day bad. Honestly, the man was too full of pride and arrogance, a path that doesn't end well once your cards are burned. What is it with the feds these days, Tiffany was one of a kind to Lisa. How could a woman actually marry the man who thinks it's his job to rid the world of evil, if this was court, Lisa would win because people who take that plea end up in Rehab or a mission to Asia. But alas, this wasn't a courtroom which left Lisa somewhat vulnerable. It didn't help that he was a fed, like all lawyers she had tricks and special moves that she was willing to use. But only when it actually got a result would she use them. People like the joker are immune to those moves and cards, simply because they're unstable and unpredictable. Originality, now the man was going to the dead end where it ended with Lisa slapping him in the face. She didn't go back in the cell because it wasn't worth it, Lisa enjoyed the thought of both Tiffany and the Joker locked up in a cell, maybe they could draw pictures with hearts. When in doubt use cynacism. Lisa turned her head to the guard outside the cell, he was falling asleep. She wondered if Tiffany would actually be able to get anything out of the clown. She had heard and seen the feds in action only probably was that they ended up causing more trouble then they "planned" for.
She didn't want to call for security because Tiffany and the Joker would probably view that she is a fool who knows nothing about ethics; wrong again. Patience comes in handy as her mother would always say. Surprisingly true yet ironic for a suergon. Her father was more of the run and gun type, giving the orders that were smarter and better than the Army graduates and the naval college. If Her father was here, he would have already called up the mayor and some of his buddies to kick the feds out. But feds are feds.
Tiffany obviously had more dollars then he was showing to the bank, because he wasn't like the other FBI agents. He respected and followed his superiors as if his life depended on it. Like all people he had his own goals within the FBI. Whether it was to make Criminals hate their existence, because he probably believes in that. Or whether he did it because he was one of those poor kids without a job.

He watched the Joker laugh in his cage through the clear door. Dealing with demons in the past Tiffany had come to realize that there is always a spot that can cause their wrath to surface. When a demon revealed their wrath they revealed their weakness, and Tiffany was somewhat surprised that he was unable to break the causal attitude of this evil creature. He could only image Ba'al or Beelzebub being behind this. They were only two demons powerful enough to find his words ineffective. He glanced at his watch. If he were facing off against one of them it would takes hours to even scratch the surface.
"I do not particularly care for the game. I enjoy the rules that create it," he said calmly to the Joker's laugh filled statements. The comment of the church caused him to inwardly flinch and a frown to appear on his face. Demons could never enter such a holy area of worship without God shining through them. Lies, of course. Did the man not realized the patterns? People might be look over their shoulders, but the very reason they look over their shoulders is because they suspect something. The very aspect of their suspicions proves the pattern and predictability.
"I am not sure what you enjoy more," he said shifting his weight to other foot, "Lying to others or lying to yourself."
He shook his head at the sin itself then brought his eyes to face the evil. Disgusting. He gave one last glance at his watch. His time was up, and he would not waste anymore of it. "You have provided me with nothing and therefore you still hold no value. I will remind you before I go that while you enjoy chaos, death is a rule you cannot break." He brought his fingers in the shape of a gun and pointed it at the Joker's forehead through the glass protective door. He gave a sly smirk at the image of the demon being dragged down to hell as he pretended to fire it, "It comes quicker then you think."
He brought his hand back down, and his face returned to the neutral expression. He had to expect the rest of the building for any possible security breaches and discuss the transfer with Arkham. It would have to be done efficiently. He glanced at the ADA before he left. He did not want to leave her behind in case she was working for the Joker or any other person within these walls. He also did not wished to be bothered by her nonsense anymore. Her pride and loud mouth was how he imagined a parrot to be if parrots had even smaller brains. He would have to bug her apartment later today or tomorrow. Yes, she was such a loud mouth she would give away all her plans. He smiled at her. "Good day, Assistant District Attorney," he said as his thoughts turned to the deaths of each criminal. The Joker might not have provided information on his fellow rogues, but he had given him a glimpse of their thought process. Arrogance, and arrogance was the easiest sin to break.

Lisa watched as the questioning was over. Tiffany still believed that he could threaten the man, sure Lisa did too until she realized that someone like the clown would be hard to crack, if he could be. She nodded to the guard and walked quickly next to the agent who she disliked. " What are you going to do with Joker?" Yes, she was being nosy, but when dealing with someone as dangerous as the clown being nosy is being normal. Each turn felt like a downward spiral in Arkham. She was glad she wasn't locked up in here.
She still didn't understand why the clown had no fear and no boundaries, sure he was simple but not to her. She almost felt like jumping to conclusions about the whole plan for joker even though she didn't know.

The Joker leaned back against the wall in his cell with a smug look on his face. Agent Tiffany had come in here ready to tear down the infamous Joker and was now leaving without the information he had come in here so arrogantly demanding. It brought an even wider smile to the clown's face. The fool, thinking he could win in a showdown with the Joker.
It made him laugh at the fact that this Agent seemed to believe he was possessed by a demon. Was he that disillusioned? If that were the case, then all of Gotham would need an exorcism. Ha, what a though. Batman being beaten over the head with a bible and drown in holy water.
He watched the two leave, giggling the entire time. "Y'all come back now, y'hear? HahahahaHAHAHAHAH!" He rocked back and forth in his cell, lost in his laughing fit.
