Dick knew when he was defeated. He did not want to fail, but there was nothing left for him to try and protect. He could try and fight Jane Doe all he wanted, but he knew she had him beat with what she had done to his leg. There wasn't a chance of him getting out of it alive if he tried attacking her.
"It's a sick life to live," Dick snarled at her comment of her act as a life style. He was now leaning up against the window sill and along it's frame. He had no where else to go he was in a corner.
He wanted to cringe at the sight of the skin hanging of her shoulder. He had seen any mortifying things in his life, but the sight and thought of someone not only stealing someones life, but their skin was sickening. He ignored her comments of him leading a lie and all the remarks about a robin.
Keeping an eye on her, he wondered if it was really worth it. He could try and bring her down. Normally this was not a problem for him, but his leg was the only thing holding him back. He desperately wanted to fight back. But it seemed he would only be playing into her sick games if he did.
He leaned against the ledge of the window, glancing over at the exit he had before him. "You haven't seen the last of me," Dick said. "No matter where you go or who's life you are running, I will find you."
