It hadn't been the longest trip, but it wasn't speedy by any means. Eventually the dark gloomy city was left behind. Only to be replaced by yet another gloomy city. Only added by rain. Possibly a storm was headed. Roy was nearly met with a lovely view up a young woman' skirt as he got off the train and wind seemed to have also joined in the mix. Though for his sakes he was a man and had pants on. So no bare legs, though the girl quickly maintained and soon disappeared around the corner. Well so much for his introduction to Bludhaven. It was… How could he put? Ah, yes. Dick's playground. He could almost sarcastically pun that and either way it went fell in the truths Roy knew of his buddy. With the natural competitiveness Roy was sure Dick would make sure Roy knew that. With what pride Roy had, he needed a house… Of some sort. Some weren't so fortunate. There was something to be said to be moving in with your best friend's girlfriend, but they were adults.
Putting the strap of his guitar over his shoulder, bag in hand and pulled his hood over his head for some decent cover. He was not warm, but he could bare the cold. He was tough. Least he tried telling himself. With a little scan around at the streets, he tried to make sense of what Kory had described. Given she wasn't always so perfect when it came to street names. Around the corner from the candy shop and possibly a florist. Ok. There one either direction of where he stood. Then there was the follow the lights in the left direction. From his left? At this point it was anybody's guess. Roy amusingly ran his hand over his head. It was probably best to save what credit he had for more important times, but if he ended up in a flee market then she'd have to swing by to hopefully make a mends. It wasn't long till he reached at least a candy shop. Flower shop. With what change he had snagged some candy… Whilst no one was look, with his stealth and charm. Stole a flower. It was the least he could do. Before walk some more. Eventually spotting the apartment building. It wasn't bad at all, although it wasn't too over the top fancy. She was the classy type, but then she was also Kory. She could take the simple things. Roy made the rest of the way. Passing the front door eventually. Finally ending up at Kory's door after finding the correct number. Hand pulled hoodie down. With the trip through the rain had vastly dampened his clothes and skin. Though he was not at the dripping stage. Rattled a playful tune upon Kory's door.
As the door would open. Roy stood casually, but with much his natural charm. The smile to go along with it. With also a cheek glance in his eyes. Kory was after all a gorgeous orange skin vixen. As well being a friend, but hey. It was hard not to have a little interest or least be attracted. Roy couldn't completely change how he was built. Though he was never a sleaze. Charm. As he playfully looked over his friend. A smile. Because well it was just nice to see a friend. Before revealing his hand behind his back with a sweet scented red flower, a little romantic? Maybe he was trying, but he could always play it down to his favourite colour. As he gave Kory a more innocent look, not that he had a lot left.
"Good evening, gorgeous space kitty… I know this probably not what you were expecting, but i do most appreciate you accepting my sorry ass to crash here... I'll make sure you won't regret it... Though i am surprised by one thing..."
Not to ramble on into a long list of words, but he was defiantly trying to show his gratitude. Whilst offering at her hand to sweetly kiss upon it, with a cheek yet sexy look in his eyes. Whilst adding in his little touch of humour. He was seemingly less depressed. He was good at charm, though, but one give away was the darkness that somewhat surrounded his eyes. The affects of the loss was defiantly still there, something Roy could only assume someone like Kory would pick up. Before raising a curious eye brow as his brown eyes peaked around behind Kory in the rather bare apartment. Whilst of course not straying to far from Kory and his minor way of flirting with her.... This certainly wasn't the worst places he could crash at. It might even be fun!

This had all really sprung up on Kory. Only what, a few hours ago. Sometime late in the morning, it was now in the afternoon. Not late, the sun was still much up in the sky for the day. Despite ducking behind the clouds. Bringing a gloomy and wet day. It had greeted Kory this way when she had awoken… To yes, much beside Dick. So often he stayed here, that he practically lived here. Even so much with what clothes he left and even a toothbrush… Maybe even a comb, though Kory often insisted just the use of her hands could help. Especially on a day like this, it be a more messy hair day. Wasn't bed hair in? Either way it looked good on him, but anything did and even better when everything was off. Dick had left mid morning after the lie in and morning cuddles. Went off… Well, Kory was a little distracted to recall exactly where to, just insisting she'd see him at some point again. So in all honesty when Roy called. Kory hadn't entirely informed Dick yet, not that he'd mind. It was a friend in need and he kept insisting they weren't ready to officially move in. Plus she did have the extra room. Why not? Kory of course wouldn't leave Dick in the dark. He'd find out soon enough.
It would certainly be a nice thing to have someone live here, especially a friend. After their last encounter at the memorial, the tail signs were clear… It had been rough on all, but possibly in a more heart felt way for Roy. So she extended an invitation, as the group had more than strained. She had already offered her place in New York when she moved a year back, but it was seemingly different now. With Roy's pride it took sometime, in trying to do it alone, but eventually taking the leap. Kory was never one to turn a friend in need, away. It would do him good being in touch with friends. Not just herself, but with Dick. Even though they could be like children together in any given situation. They still cared for one another. It could do a lot of good for all. Though the coming of a guest, had risen her excitement and had fluttered around her place, to make sure everything was in place. She was generally the tidy one, compared to Dick, but she never complained about it. More than happy to take care of it, when she did… Given the extra chill in the day, Kory had put on her small, but comforting fireplace on. Literal flames. Dancing orange. Wonderful. Also allowed for comfortable layer of clothing. A simple white singlet with some stripes and some shorts, which allowed a minor showcase of the length of her legs. Bare feet. She had tough skin, but there usually weren't any sharp objects to dread on. As her general wear, her red hair was out, with its natural thickness, but nothing styled herself. Beside a brush and her fingers. Eventually came the knock on the door. She pleased he hadn't got lost, but she was sure her direction was spot on.
"Roy!"
Kory managed to say with a bubbly surprise, well not so much because he was at her door. She was expecting that, but well she was happy to see him. It had certainly seemed too long… Well, a week or so, but given they had lived together before with many more under the same roof. It almost feels strange when it shifts. Her princesses orange cheeks glowed. With a softly laugh and a more initial happy surprise as Roy extended a hand. Sweetly offered her own, before feeling a sort kiss upon the top of her hand… He was defiantly charming and caring deep down. Kory got a little goose bumpy when he popped out a red flower. It had defiantly been a sweet touch and not unlike Roy. Orange fingers took to the flower and joyfully took in the scent. Pretty. Her smile softened a little as her green eyes circled more around his own. He was strong, but there hints of dark shadows around his eyes. There was a lot of the heavy stuff still weighing on him, but that was brought him here. For a friend in need. Not wasting much time as Kory half jumped, but defiantly in a friendly way. To hug him and properly greet him. He defiantly didn't object and even so much felt his fingers a little down the spin of her back. Tangling in her hair a tiny bit. Ok, so he was possibly trying a little more. Kory laughed softly. He was Roy, he rarely took to an uncomfortable place. Pulling back and away from the hug. She did feel reluctance, but she also felt the need of comfort. As Kory stepped back. Felt a little more damp from the hug, but kory didn't mind so much. Roy certainly noticed, but with a playful roll of her eyes. Kory half grabbed him and dragged him inside.
"But you have a very cute ass… I really am happy you decided to take up on my offer. I know it hasn't been easy… For any of us. So the additional company is appreciated."
Shutting the door behind. With now her official house buddy. As she paused shortly after laughing at his words, her eyes looked to him curiously before playfully commenting about his features. It wasn't as if she hadn't seen. Living under that roof, it was bound to happen. Not that Kory was neither a prude herself. Humans were just wound up by it more, it was often just funny to her… Smiling sweetly Kory spoke to him kindly as she motioned towards the kitchen. Opening a cupboard for a small vase Dick had possibly bought. With a little bit of water. There was now a place for her flower. As her eyes curiously looked around her apartment for the best spot… The dinner table? it seemed a decent choice. Commenting with care about the rough patches that had happened from the events. Eyeing Roy as if knowing, but knowing him. She expressed he wasn't alone in it. Even adding to a more happier and honest smile. That moving in though was to give him a place to stay and help him. It was also good for her. So not to feel he was intruding. Moving across the room. Placing the vase upon the table. Perfect. Kory wasn't sure what he meant in his own surprise. Nor why it gave a little rise in his tone and a cheeky look upon him, but he often had a cheeky way about him. Kory was certain she was missing something, but she was assuming it was humorous by the way he was acting.
"What do you mean? By what thing? Would you like to see your room? Oh, X'hal! You brought your guitar!"
Kory curiously and unknowingly asked Roy. As her eyes caught the faint way he looked around the room as if something was missing. Before shifting around as to what to do next with the new arrival of Roy in her place. Turning slightly to the window, showing him around the city maybe have to wait. Not in this weather and Kory would only guess it probably end up being Dick showing Roy around. Catching up. It be good for the both of them, but there was patrolling this evening. So maybe a little sight seeing around town. Eyeing his bags, she naturally asked, suggesting to show him to the room she had set up for him. So he can put what he had away and get comfortable. That of course led to Kory noticing the guitar strap, before eyeing what she could on his back. Kory was not new to it and was rather fond of it. Especially with that music he could make of it. Very often happened whilst in the tower. It meant possibility to listen to more now that he's moved in. It was defiantly a side girls tended to swoon for and Kory couldn't deny she was a little bit thrilled by it. Of course there was only one man that truly make her weak at the knees, but this was defiantly a fun side of Roy. As expressed upon the joy on her face and her hand reached out playfully for a second over the strap.

There was defiantly something to be said. Upon seeing the beautiful red headed princess. A sight for his much weary eyes. It could a lot at once. The mere excitement. Almost jumping up and down, but those closest to Kory knew she was not just a child at heart. It was hard not to be effected by her behaviour. Even just her overly expressive smile. For a moment all worries seemed zap until you finally blink and they rush all back. Brown eyes defiantly made a point of taking in the lengthy flesh of her legs. Golden thighs. Roy couldn't only imagine. Before the sweet reaction to his greeting.
"That's my name, princess."
Indeed it was. Roy muttered in the warmth of her neck, by her ear. As Kory had much hooked. Lined and sinked him into her hug. Who really had the will to simply say no? Roy certainly wasn't one to protest. Whilst with a little more intended smile in hearing his name flow from her mouth. Of course adding her title to show some respect despite his minor inner dialogue and possible enjoying the hug more in other ways. Though as much as Roy could play and she certainly was fun to… There was always a line. Roy's hand ran slowly down to the small of her back. Lingered a little as Kory withdrew. Now why was the look, so endearing. Just pure joy in seeing him. Before much could be adjusted. Roy found himself half without his will. Dragged into her apartment. Well, he wouldn't protest anyway. Though generally pulled in lead to a different situation. Kory was not without her own playful. Flirting ways. As Roy rubbed the back of his head a bit as if trying to act he needed to find his bearings. Smiling widely in regards to one of his better features.
"Ok, I can't deny… It has its benefits. Which you're more than welcome to, anytime… That's what I do. I'm here to please… No… I… can't say it has… It is defiantly both ways, Kory."
With the very key element to his natural humour, Roy responded with a little cheeky attitude, but also truth. As he ran his hand casually over his hair, hard to avoid the up coming and knowing smile. Before putting his hands up with a playful look at the beautiful red head. Following her instinctually to the kitchen, not entirely upon her. Kory had opened the cupboard, but Roy reached for the vase. In a manner to help, whilst playfully giving Kory the offer. Adding to his act with his hands up a little, before slightly gesturing them upon his chest. In a way it maybe sexy, but mostly it was him trying to be humorous. Relaxing down a little, he could often put a lot of the stuff coming out of his mouth as ADHD, but the gentleman that he is would never say it was an excuse. That wasn't good enough especially in the times he truly screwed up. Though he had to say, it felt mighty good in better company other than just himself. Already felt like home. Roy smiled and responded to Kory's own happiness with the fact he was here, which she didn't need to say much. it was plain to see, which was just adorable. Following to the dinner table… Had paused at Kory's a little more in-depth words, in saying without saying to much to consider his feelings. It was bound to come, but more in time. Though it went a long way of showing Kory cared. Also that it wasn't just him in this rocky boat…. His hands kindly fell and took one of Kory's. Not to try anything, if that crossed her mind, she was free to do so. Just lightly gestured with her fingers and touch along with the needed company. Of friends. Before with his light gesture, he motioned for another hug, tender, not for any purpose than out of friendship. Though Roy did run fingers gently through some of the strands of her hair. She did have a special place, though he wouldn't over step. A man can dream. Can't he, but maybe a little missing Donna played a part. Before gently letting Kory go.
"That Dick is ok with this, having another man move in with his girlfriend… Everything is ok with you two, right? Only a fool would leave you alone… I can play a little for you pretty girl, in fact I'm thinking of a new song… Or you can show me to my room."
Roy confessed, not much of a confession. As he commented about in this case seemingly the middle man. Knowing Dick and well being a man. There was defiantly pride and Dick as much Roy defiantly had one. Both could be guilty of overreacting, but oddly in this case Roy would feel oddly the same. Had a man moved in with his girlfriend. Not do much distrust in the girlfriend, but hello… There of course was also sincerity in Roy's mannerisms, in truth not wanting to step on toes, despite his playful ways, but he never truly wanted to hurt anyone. Dick was defiantly a good person to have around to kick Roy back into gear when he was taking things a little far. With a pause… He curiously asked in regards to the relationship, they were such a heavy couple. Dick being so easily freaked out, certainly be annoying, but most males had some form of that. As Roy's brown eyes and showed Kory he did care. Of course showing his support, because what man in his right mind could so easily pass up such a woman like Kory… She certainly wasn't painfully to look at and from all Roy had come to know. Was madly in love with Dick. Which could be full on, but hardly the worst thing. Gestured a small touch under Kory's chin in caring way, though had they split Roy would have heard about it… Dick wasn't all bad, he was Roy's buddy and he did know him well enough. Roy smiled in her offer of his room, before stopped by her reaction to noticing his guitar… His hand gently played upon her hand that touched the strap. Giving her a knowing look before offering her a intimate performance. Possibly on the couch. Rising a little in his glance to her as mentioned a new song coming to mind. With what inspiration was in front of him now… But, being the man he was. Put the ball in her court. Letting the woman choose, was always a good move.

There just seemed to be little reason to waste time. Though it had been a friendly embrace. With the added touch that only Roy was fit to give, but he so much in his ways. Much Kory didn't so easily pick on or she could simply take it for what it was. An attempt to reach out. Smiled at the small stuff as well as the small names that he gave. Sweet. With just a simple laugh in the way he said things. With little time waste at the door. Both titans were much now in Kory's apartment. Wait. They're apartment? Kory half smiled as she rolled it around in her cute little head. Hand toyed lightly pushing a little hair behind her ear. Not so much skipping, but gone through the kitchen with Roy shortly on her tail. Already seemingly the norm, what ever that meant. Comforting. A little helpful. As Roy kindly took out the vase for her. Teamwork, even though small. Went along way. Her green eyes drifted over Roy in awe amusement as he expressed about his apparently popular feature now. Half shaking her head slightly looking a little over her shoulder, before placing the vase in its place without any set backs. Nor injuries… A little hands on her hips, admiring the flower it defiantly added a touch. "I'm not doubting it does… Why thank-you, Roy. Somehow I feel i have little say in the matter…Oh, well that's what friends are for, Roy… We're here for each other. As a wise, yet handsome bird once told us."
There was little disagreement Kory had in that statement, with his history with ladies and even Donna, though there was always something more. Even Kory could say Roy was a good looking man and Kory could honestly say he was a good man, least at his core. Though he wasn't, no one was Dick… Of course he'd find a way each time, as Kory thanked him for his generous offer, though hadn't so much agreed. As Kory eyed him and a little bump with her shoulder. Its not like he had moments of undress or a like, you live in a tower with a bunch of young adults, your bound to run in which you least expected. Though being who Kory was, such things didn't bother her, as could be attested to her own state of mind and dress at any given time. She rarely did it just to flaunt it… Though Roy's sweeter. Lighter moments. Even reaching out what little it was, could still take her by surprise every now and then. Kory's cheeks glowed extra colour and she in no way pushed Roy's hand away. She meant what she said. Soon Roy motioned for a hug. Gentler and basically the tell tail signs, this was why he was here. Big time. He had fallen to near pieces, now it was keeping himself together. Comfortingly Kory finished her words closer to his ear. Half turning her cheek upon Roy's shoulder. He would have felt her cheek come to a smile. In referring to Dick. Kory felt the tingles, but it was not Roy's doing. Again parted ways, but Kory's hand kept a light hold upon his fingers. At then the slight tone in conversation. Kory lightly dipped her head. Her eyes innocently running along the floor before coming back upon him. Although how Roy put it, Kory wasn't so sure she would.
"Actually! Dick doesn't know… Well, he knows I offered, but he left before you called this morning and I haven't had the chance to tell him… I don't understand why he wouldn't? You are hardly a stranger, Roy."
Openly Kory admitted to the truth. That Dick didn't know. She hadn't gone out of her way to hurt Dick in alway nor without him completely in mind. Despite he kept insisting he didn't live here, but spent more time here than he ever did at his place. Though now Roy had said it… Did it really sound like that? Kory certainly had enough faith in herself… But as she told Roy, to tell Dick hadn't arose, not to sound like she forgot about him, but it hardly seemed it would be a bad surprise. It was Roy after all. Despite, yes she knew he had his ways, but that was not all of him. Plus he was in need. Turning him away was not in Kory's heart and it saved the spare room just sitting there. As now Kory had milady leant against the table. In all sincerely hoping this couldn't be upsetting for Dick. Particularly at Roy's question about the couple. Kory was confident but there going to be some up and downs. Expected.
"Yes, for the most part. Dick, may not be perfect, but I like the way that he is. Maybe we're both fools… Oh… Uh… It is so tempting… I don't see why we can't do both… After?"
How could Kory simply say everything was perfect? Rocky moments though were bound to happen, but nothing the couple hadn't been able to over come. Had it been so straight forward, it mightn't be what it it. Kory smiled softly, they certainly didn't argue more than they usually did and arguing was a little fun at times. It kept things healthy, rather than just bottling things up. Well, Dick could be a fool at times. Kory amusingly looked to Roy, but that hardly was something new nor had it yet spooked her off. In all his mistakes and flaws, Kory could see behind all that. Even though she said he wasn't perfect, he felt perfect to her. She loved his little individual quirks… Half blowing her hair out of her eyes, with a toying look, playfully frustrated, not one to deny her own foolish ways. They weren't the couple Earth would ultimately vote for nor expected. Whatever pulled them together, it was just hard to avoid. Whether it was conventional or what everyone else wanted, it was there and Kory only had the will to fight for it, rather than fight it off. Had it been easy, it really wouldn't be the same…. As Kory offered a simple expression… Before she contemplated Roy's offer. Biting a little the inside of her lip. Her green eyes even so much bounced between the instrument and his room. Oddly the couch as well. Half feeling pulled, but with a more innocent look. A grin, she suggestion both would work, least for her. Before of course asking, with a look of… Please?

It certainly was a little early for the sentimental conversations, but Roy could only avoid them forever. Though what transpired he was all but happy for. Understanding. His eyes watched Kory amusingly with her admiring the flower in its new home. Was truly something how the simplest things, brought a lot to her spirits. Like a little bubbly match stick. Well a very curvy match stick, but like Roy needed to express that. Grinning a little cheeky and admirable quality at Kory's own playful tactical come backs. It wasn't as if the doors in the tower were always locked. In fact it wasn't uncommon for a little destruction. Holes through walls and that was hardly down to just teen angst. Throwing his hand in a gesture of 'what can you do'. He was who he was. Which popped out an extra smile Roy could tell from Kory. Flaws. It didn't matter. If it weren't for the already advance and initiative of pulling Kory in for a hug. Roy would have aim additional hugs, but simply settled for extra squeeze without being too cheesy. In Kory's word of friendship. It meant probably the most to her, but it meant a lot to all of them. United.
"He certainly has his perks!"
Roy simply stated and left it at that, in regards to their once inferrer leader. Roy could almost contain a little snicker at the phrasing of 'handsome bird', he could be quite dainty. Roy certainly had told Dick on a few occasions, but Roy had to admit Dick wasn't always a lady, that might be pushing the class. Of course keeping it to himself. Oh wow. A moment. Roy could have salivated with Kory's cute cheek upon his shoulder, but his caring heart overruled his mischievous parts. Gentle hand upon her arm. Fingers faintly traced up and down the skin, in a simple gesture. Because he could feel it. Donna was gone, but there was a sense of a family again. He could feel it from Kory, though it wouldn't be the same and there was too many puns for it just being the three of them. It already felt a little crowded, but certainly they were above that. Catching the way her eyes dropped. She was a little bit crazy for Dick, a little how Roy felt and found himself still did for Donna. Finding himself rested against the table. Shaking his head in shear amusement in her response and basically. Dick was defiantly going to get a surprise then. Kory saw it innocently. It was cute, but Roy was a man. Well, at least he tried to be.
"Oh… Well, i guess Dick is in need of some shock therapy… But I'm sure your right. Being as familiar as we are, won't worry Dick at all… I guess the turn around is, he'll be dropping by more often?"
Containing his amusement over it, it yeah tumbled out a bit. It was not surprising given what Kory said and well being Kory, but there was a little chance of flipping out… Roy could hardly wait to see Dick's reaction. It could be priceless, but Roy certainly didn't expect an over reaction. There certainly could be worst people to move in with Kory, but this no. Roy couldn't think he'd be as accepting of it had it been him… Mildly held his hints of laughter as Roy assured Kory, he wouldn't worry. With a straighter face. Not being a stranger, was probably what Dick might be worried about. Not that anything would ultimately happen, but come on… Before he paused and could easily question, Dick would probably end up showing up more often. Which was great for the bro time, but also knowing the boy code… Eyeing Kory, Roy was sure she would be happier with Dick coming over more. Almost questioning she knew. Not that she planned it this way.
"We've all been fools at one point or another… We certainly can… Lead the way, princess!"
Roy nodded in unison in regards to Kory's and Dick's relationship. It was what it was. He half smiled, she hardly came across that way, but ultimately such a thing coulees be said about most if not all Titans at one point. They certainly weren't above making mistakes. Roy defiantly being one of them and even so recently. Roy laughed simply at Kory's reaction and he was easily bribed. Well, generally just by lovely women. Gesture a hand which he gathered was in the corrected direction to his soon to be crowned bedroom.

So Kory wasn't entirely sure what Roy meant by that, but she sure could agree on some level. Least from her own special. Wonderful. Fantastic relationship with him… Kory was left with the questions, Did Dick have perks or was he the perks? Little of both, maybe. Subtly left with a smile, within the warmth of her apartment. With the stormy wind rattling against the windows behind her. Soon the hugs withdrawn, but little remain of a simple hand holding, but it also soon dropped. With Roy's words. Understanding Earth code was one thing, but boy code? Kory shook her head mildly in response, with still a little extra colour to her golden cheeks. Sure Dick could get jealous, but this was seemingly less complicated in her mind… With a sigh and breath. Worry? Well, she had to give that one to Roy… It was Dick after all. Her concerned little look on her face. Looked to the clock. A window. As if checking if Dick would be home soon. So she could give him the news, although Roy standing here. But she knew he'd be cool. Roy was well Roy… Well… Kory then brightened at Roy's questioning…
"I thought that was what your suits were for…? The simplest things worry him, I would be worried if he wasn't… Can't say it didn't cross my mind… As much as you put on the front, he does love you Roy. We're a family."
In her small attempt of being more straight forward sarcastic and teasing. Even a little hint of her tongue. In knowing that the two shared some form of electrics in their suits, or at least at some point… Not that Kory was ever curious to find the button for it, but may have unknowingly caused it to be pressed. Hard to say. Though certainly couldn't forget when it malfunctioned during a training session. Had most of the titans rolling around laughing, before they tire to help… Had it been in battle, it would have been less amusing. Of course. Kory expressed sweetly with her eyes in regards to Dick's natural way of worrying, it was just basically him caring… A lot, which it was better than him not caring. Switching it off, as Kory had seen in a vampire diaries episode. Defiantly didn't want him ripping people apart and putting them back together… Cheekily smiling a little about Dick coming over more… Kory defiantly wouldn't object, but she naturally assumed that yet it would happen. Not so much just for her benefit. Despite their natural need to mark their territory, they were basically like brothers. As Kory kindly assured Roy. With a knowing smile and little show of hands, stating they were family. Or at least part of the family, but still no doubt… Budding heads just came with the love. "I've certainly missed it, Roy… I'm glad you hadn't stopped… My pleasure, this way… It should have everything you need, I even bought new matching covers today… Although I didn't have great deal of time to break in the bed."
That was for both really. The simple foolish behaviour of their friends and antics they would get themselves into, along with their shear ability to work together in battle. Also importantly his guitar. Kory could almost tell it defiantly helped him. Odd, but it was very much a part of him, almost as much, but in a different as were his weapons. Kory piped up at Roy saying yes to both, although there was plenty of time now they were living together, but still. Excitement. Smile at his sweet gesture and lead him past the living area. In a small little hallway. Showing of course bathroom. The door of her room. Laundry and finally stopping at the door way of his room. As her eyes looked over the cleanly but well decorated room. Surprisingly it had been all but bare before. The nice gentlemen at the store helped in selecting from a more male perspective. There was little hints of red with him in mind, a couple of stripes in the bed cover and pillow case. The walls were more your basic neutral colour, but with warmth. It seemed the safe option. Black bed frame. Little bubble shaped mirrors above the head board on the wall. The furniture and tables were in keeping with the bed, apart from a little corner shelf already started with a picture, but open for more. Lush carpet and decent space for his clothes. Not that he was much of a clothes horse. Though Kory admitted she hadn't jumped on the bed much… It was just a certain kind of special mattress, no springs if she recalled correctly. Although jumping on the bed was also fun, it just wasn't the initial reason.

There were the faintest signs of Kory worried, but still with much her blissful view on it all. Who could really or want to stop it? Roy was just being Roy. Sometimes his mouth just opened, but more or less with a caring head on his shoulders. In which now it was defiantly feel the comfy feeling. In the friendly sense and moving in hadn't nerved him at all before nor now. There was no need of the what if questions. More less they had been here, well not so just the two of them and from the sounds. Two and a half of them. Yeah, Roy could almost count on it… Nifty. Roy thought. Just nifty. In her simple remark of the electrics attached in their suits. No wonder it trickled back to the malfunction, much to the delight of the others. It was mighty painful. Roy felt trimmers for a little while after, but he found something to ease his mind. Or more someone. Model of the month…
"Oh, don't remind me… Dick on the other hand got special treatment of course… I'm more than happy to keep making it difficult for him… Yeah, yeah. So everyone keeps telling me… Saying it like that makes it sound a little creepy, but I get it…"
Roy played a little irritated by the shear memory of it but really mostly he hadn't thought about it until she brought it up. Well, it was kind of funny. Least he was laughing at Dick until it was his turn… Of course Dick was attended too, in ways Roy hadn't. Roy smirked for a moment to Kory, knowingly. Before making a sly comment. Almost promise too not stop Dick from worry. A joke of course, but then they were who they were. As Roy then rolled over Kory reminding him that Dick did love him… Family. Defiantly put a creepy spin on it, whilst sure it was true on some level. Roy mildly suggesting he still loved Dick, but of course not in such a wordily way. It was just too weird. They needed to keep their fist pump to a minimum, not that they exactly fist pumped, but it certainly more likely than them just hugging so often. Hugging Kory was just delightful… As were her hands. Roy eyed playfully to her touchy ways, but naturally not taking it any further. Added with a smile in regards to her missing his other known gifts and talents. Well, in which case she might certainly get a special performance… Not for that to sound naughty. Roy happily followed Kory with a humbled nod. Noting the bathroom and her bedroom. Which apparently had its own bathroom… So less chances of nudity, but then he was reminded it was Kory. Simply nodded in relation to the set up Kory had attempted before coming to the doorway… Given the fact he could be homeless, it was like a mini mansion in one room. Shaking his head to the shear fact, that matching covers would have been something he would have even noticed, unless Kory mentioned it. Though the little hint of red was a little rad. That was until the mentioning of breaking in the bed? His mind spinning towards too many possibilities as to what she actually meant.
"Why would you need to break in the bed? Maybe you need an additional person… I'm available, though I'm worried what it entails."
There, Roy asked. His mind not jumping to Dick and Kory, but then Dick didn't know… So… Roy looked to her curiously, moment where you really felt human. His hand rubbed the back of his neck a little, with offering the possibly need of another. Himself, although not exactly knowing what. Wasn't exactly sure what he was offering to do. Or if he would survive. As Roy then also took the deadly step and stepped into the room. Moving to a spot besides the dresser draws and placed his bag down… It wouldn't take much room at all for his stuff. Putting down then his guitar from around his neck and placed it upon a chair.

Remarkably it defiantly was Roy. No surprises there. Kory smiled and laughed softly in his response to the mishap with the suits. Had it turned out tragic, then of course it would have been a lot less funny. It wasn't any more pain than they'd generally would run into during a training session. Only more unexpected. As Kory smiled a little widen, but not to so much as if she was enjoying it. With of course a hint to her smile of yes, in relation to Dick getting the special treatment. Although given it was Roy, he could have meant a lot more with that. Cute. Kory thought in Roy's reaction to reminding him that Dick still of course cared for them. They were like two peas in the pod at times. Two peas that may often bicker a lot, but all from the heart. Kory was sure. He was playing it down, but even in Roy's sarcastic ways, there was the notion that he did care. Maybe more than many wouldn't give him credit for, especially those that have yet to properly know him… Even Kory couldn't say she knew everything, but mostly. Enough to call him a close friend… Best friend, Kory was sure Roy could find a way to spin that. Only in fun, of course. "He'll be glad your here Roy…"
Kory simply responded and stated with a warm smile. It was maybe a little unconventional to some, having him move in, but he was a friend. In need and it wasn't as if Dick wouldn't still stay over. Kory only really saw the positive in this, well despite not telling Dick, but he'll sooner than later find out…. Before their eyes turned to the bedroom in question. Particularly the mattress. Yes, weird, but it didn't have springs. It was a special foam kind of mattress, which was especially good in getting a better sleep and aid in support of the back. Which seemed would benefit given the high action nights they'd have. The instructions of the mattress was basically to wear it in a little, like a massage. Not that Kory understood it enough to explain it. Kory smiled at Roy offering. Soon after a few short words. Taking his hand a little, because well he was unsure what was going to happen. Soon finding themselves standing on the bed. Walking around, given the foaminess of the mattress, it sank the feet in a little, was a great work out for the calves. After a little slow pace, eventually they jumped around a little. Walked some more. From corned to corner. At a point, Kory along with Roy collapsed on the bed. Roy a little more worn out than Kory, but she was a tiny bit beat from it, not to mention she had done it earlier. Her head hair tousled wildly in one of the pillows. With Roy just brushing at her arm closest. Settling in, seemed all but gone. In the little near silence and Kory could see Roy looking at the picture of the team on one of the dresser draws… At Donna.
"It isn't too much, Roy? We are all in this together… Donna always had the way of comforting us when we needed it, I especially miss her hugs."
Kory asked with her caring concern. Knowing mourning was always different and it was not too hard to see it still pained Roy in many ways. Mostly in his heart, but Kory smiled still warmly at the photo. At the sight of Donna. Of all of their friends. The joyful memories. There were certainly a lot of them. Sweetly. Kory motioned her head in a little. In her own sort of comforting way against his shoulder. Her hand reaching a little to Roy's, just again comforting. Mentioning warmly of how it was Donna that generally calmed them down or would give someone advice. She was practically the den mother. That naturally nurturing quality, that it had seemed finally when she was a mother herself and how tragic how it had all been taken away from her. Now she had been taken away from the world. A sister lost. Kory laid there, but of course there was plenty of time for Roy to open completely up for it, right now he just needed to know the support was there. Her death hit a lot of people, but probably not in such the same way as it did Roy. Given he had and very much was in love with Donna. For now mostly the silence. Not so much a lot of words needed to be said, Kory could easily feel Roy's pain. The sadness. Her eyes lingered on Robin in the photo.
"You know I have the Robin suits, I've always wanted to try one on. Maybe surprise Dick… There is also a Nightwing suit."
Kory wasn't really much one to mess with people in any which way, but was a simple way to suggest, with the curious tone in her voice. It defiantly was a way to get Roy's mind on happier things, even if it was a little random, but in all honesty Kory had wanted to try one on, just least once. Not from any desire to be Robin, but they always just sit somewhere, either in her closet or somewhere not exactly in use. Of course thats how they stayed in better condition, but least she could say she least tried once. That's in all duration if they fit, Dick was a lot smaller… A little childish, but fun. Kory was sure. Also mentioning the Nightwing suit. Kory looked to Roy with a smile. Who she was sure was just putting it down to it being Kory. Catching the nod he gave. Kory beamed a little and insisted it only be a few moments. It be fun. Soon leaving Roy's bed and led the way into her own bedroom. Well and even though he wouldn't claim it. it was also Dick's bedroom. He spent far more time in it than his own. As was a little telling with the clothes a little piled in the corner and what was left on the bed from earlier and possibly a chair. Kory head straight to the corner of her wardrobe and opened the doors. With the boxes and a couple of the suits on the rack above. Pulled out a Robin suit, taking it in hand and pulled out a Nightwing suit, with a playful smile held it out to Roy.

The moments came and went. It seemed all but an eternity when the later Titans had been teens. Learning the ropes and pretty much grew up along side each other. With a bond, that ultimately was unique to them. Simply if you were not a titan, it was difficult to explain… Even what seemed merely months ago since the tragic passing of one of the key members and soon the departing of some of the others. There were always be the memories or even random new ones. Such as moving in with Kory otherwise known as Starfire. Somethings as they had come to stand at the doorway of his so called bedroom, somethings remained the same and yet many things just never could be… Perhaps it was more than simply losing Donna… it was hard to really know or say… Though it didn't at all feel uncomfortable, but this was Kory. He was Roy…. He may play and at times, he may play hard, but at the end of the day… Dick was the extra someone… Roy smiled warningly, with some agreement, whilst his brown eyes playfully rolled the notion, to which made a small rise out of Kory. Somethings didn't change, as Roy could easily recall when she first fell on the teams radar and the initial chemistry between the two. It really was only a matter of time, before Dick grew a pair and said yes… Roy could be somewhat sure Dick would be cool with this… But really…!
"Only time will tell…"
Simply put. With of course Roy's unsure, yet knowing smile. After the very clear eyebrow raising at being a little concerned at what Kory meant by breaking in the bed… There was only a tiny window, if it meant what one may hope, but of course not. He was a guy though, you never know what a woman's thinking, let alone Kory half the time… Generally you could gather it was from a sincere place… As not long she had taken his hand and led him to his bed… Almost. Almost… But no. After slowly going with Kory, this hadn't exactly been something he'd done in a time he could ultimately recall. Jumping on the bed, basically… Which he had to confess, it didn't take him too long to start seeing the fun in this. Even though it felt odd. Kory just had that way of bringing out more joyful moments in such innocent ways. It was childish in the good way and even for a moment. Roy smiled a little more sincerely, but as soon as the jumping had taken its toll. The two fell spent and laid closely in a friendly manor on his bed. It didn't take long for the near silence, to creep a little in his thoughts. Mostly the pain wasn't there as bad… Least Roy told himself… But man she was beautiful… Eyes lingering upon the group photo and fell upon her familiar face. Even in his doubts, he would come to realise she hadn't faded in his mind… It was not easy to simply let all of that go… It didn't of course long for Kory to see and offer some comfort. Even though he hadn't cried, mostly because they had drained him a night or so ago… Generally when he was alone, but it was lesser now… More just that numbing feeling, if that was easy enough to understand. Finally his eyes broke away… Down for a moment. Before looking to Kory. Simple and yet comforting. It almost felt nice to have such affections, in of course the friendship way… But something Roy wouldn't so much ask, but it was defiantly helping more than hindering. As he felt Kory's head come a little at his shoulder. Expressing the shared pain. It was true. It effected everyone… Even Kory. Roy tilted his head slightly to rest a little into Kory's. Titans. Friends. Family. Allowing the little gesture of her hand to his.
"Its perfectly fine, Kory… They were good… Yours aren't half bad..."
Roy answered Kory with little doubt in his voice. Not with a great deal of joy, because to say the pain didn't loom, then would be a lie, but the image was nice. Everything was nicer than where Roy was and the path he had himself on. Which was probably questionable how far off it he had come, but that was part why he was here. Raising a faint knowing smile in recalling Donna's hugs. Certainly different variations, but all comforting on some level. As his voice half muffled in Kory's hair as her head rested against his shoulder. Pulling her in a little with his arm, to add to Kory's friendly affections. Not that he's going to go singing to the world, he likes hugs, but he couldn't complain. Not even in the slightest. Roy smiled a little and comfortably. Letting the silence come a little in the moment… It was nicer than usual when he was alone… He had company now, but there was still something tugging at him. Maybe it always would… Though as soon as his eyes pondered for reasons unknown. Kory's voice perked up… Randomness, couldn't exactly cover it! As Roy raised a brow at what she said...
"Haven't you gotten in Dick's pants countless times before? Me? You want me to put on the Nightwing suit? After asking me to move in and breaking in my bed… If I didn't know any better, I would think you want me to replace somebody!… Is this what this is? A ploy?"
Truthfully despite the strangeness that is Kory, Roy did find it amusing… Although not entirely poking at it, but well… With his cheeky look and eyed Kory knowingly. They both knew. Everyone that knew them knew, well enough. Before dramatically placing a hand to his chest with the suggestion he put on the Nightwing's suit. As noted he did not say Dick's suit, because that would just make it extra weird. Jokingly suggesting with what had happened momentarily before, that Roy maybe the replace. Least that what it would seem like to the unknowing eye. He paused curiously in his words. Trying not too laugh, because he could see it washing over. Whether that was a sign she got it or confused her more. Was the beauty of Kory! She'd always end up telling what it was, half the time knock you off the ground whilst your still on your knees. Eyed her playfully, teasing… Taunting as his hand slid up and down her arm. With a little shift of his brows… Why it was a desire to put on Robin's suit was beyond him, but he could tell it was more set thing in her mind… Wasn't like it would get them both killed and he wasn't one to tell Kory 'no'. Defiantly not… In realising it meant undressing. He be a fool to say no. If Dick asked. Roy can say it was Kory's idea. He kept his hands to himself.
"I'm kidding of course… I have no objections! Let us undress, Princess! You don't think Dick may wonder later why his suit is stretched?"
Roy admitted with a grin to Kory. Which would hopefully ease her mind if it was needed. Shaking his head that he had no objections… Well none that seem to matter right now. With his knowingly smile, his look to her playfully expressing a hand for her to again lead the way. Which ultimately of course would be her bedroom. Roy's. Kory's. Did it really matter? Roy jokingly raised a question in regarding Dick's suit after Roy had tried it on… Suggesting Roy was the better build and Dick wasn't, you know how guys generally joke. Well, the fact Roy was trying on his suit, it probably wasn't something Dick would have been delighted in, but it was Kory's idea… Before Roy could question… Stopped shortly behind as Kory opened the closet… Which seemed like a mini museum of all Dick's suits. He knew, but it certainly had grown since a few years back. It certainly seemed most fitting she had most of the Robin suits. His hand reached as she passed him the Nightwing suit. Mildly distracted as his eyes trailed around her bedroom… You know as one does. His eyes looked curious and then to Kory.
"Thanks…! Kory? Are you sure Dick doesn't live here?"
Roy said kindly before trailing off as he questioned. His eyes expressed as they looked at the clothes… Roy was sure was Dick. Usually he was more messy than this, but no doubt. As he looked to the main pile of clothes as well as a few strays upon the bed. A chair! It was easier not to question how… Before looking back to Kory more directly. Was it that thing again… Where Dick 'lived here', but just wouldn't admit it. Basically being a guy not wanting to fall down a road of commitment. He was Grayson after all… Then refocused on the task at hand. Not that he was overly sizing her up, but he wasn't completely innocent.
"So… Do you need a hand getting dressed pretty lady? I might, how do you get in this thing?"
Asking rather politely, although a little playful as whether she needed help in changing. Basically wondering if he was going to see anything or everything, it was worth the shot. Plus it was Kory, it was one way or another, often the one way… He then focused more on the suit in his hand. Looking at it more curiously. It certainly wasn't very flexible. As Roy began removing his jacket and pulling off his t-shirt over his head. Revealing his finely tatted upper half. Before needing to ask for the instructions. For all Roy knew Dick had set up a digit code in some secret compartment. Not that Roy could say his wasn't fixed out a little either. It was a little easier to get on and off.

It was all just a matter of time. As Roy said, but she was knew. Even Roy knew. Dick would more than come around. She could hardly see why it was such a problem. Was not much of a step and it gave a reason for this room to be used… As Kory simply smiled. As she nested her head against Roy's shoulder. In all his ways. Toying. Teasing. There was more a caring man and a decent fellow than many gave him credit for. Donna saw people for who they are and Kory knew she loved Roy. Cared for him when she had. She relaxed upon Roy being ok with the reminders. The photo. It was simple, she didn't put too many up. Though she was able to know it made him feel something. Maybe not everything pleasantly, but it was probably more better for him than worse. They were in this together and in all his possible ways of pushing others a way. Kory wouldn't so easily be pushed a side. She could only hope Dick would help. She didn't want to hear, he was thinking of ending his life again… But he had taken the steps. Roy was here now. She smiled sweetly as Roy pulled her in for a more proper hug. It was nice. He gave nice hugs. Least when he wasn't trying get something from it… She smiled amusingly as his hand moved up and down her arm… Well, least he's reminding her, that Roy was still there. With all his quirky behaviours. Though with Roy's responses in regarding the dressing up… Kory herself blushed a little. A little speechless?
"I… He… Well, yes… Is it really that weird? I mean what's not to admire about him, I don't know why someone wouldn't want to feel any of that… It is only clothes, but they were cute… Especially the cape… I have fond memories…"
Kory paused between words, as her eyes looked now directly down as she had sat up. That hadn't been what she meant, but well. Kory blushed, everyone knew in this room the truth… Her green eyes innocently moved down to the bed, before curiously asking him was it really as weird, as he was seeming it to sound. She was not the air head as everyone claimed, she just has a different perception on a lot of things. There was maybe no real reason to try on some of the items of the Robin suit. Other than she wanted to, but simply the memories. The love. She was half wondering, why not. As she smiled between her words, as if least she knew what she was feeling. Her cheeks light up more warmly as she mentioned the cape. Not so much anything in particular, but she had many happy memories. She liked having his suits. They kept him close when he wasn't here or anywhere near. But she had something to remind her of how she felt. So she just as weird as it was, wanted him a little closer. Of course in many cases, ignore Roy helped… Not always… She smiled when he agreed to it though… She laughed though at his joke. That was cute.
"Its actually a spare… I think…"
Kory simply commented, although was hard to say for sure it was a spare. She was sure he wasn't using it at least. Happily of course Kory took the lead. Leading them from Roy's bedroom to Kory's bedroom. Well also Dick's, but that was a loose statement. As Kory bubbly bounced along, opening the doors. Suits filled most of this section. It was a colourful bedroom, a lot of windows. She liked to feel the sun and was a great view… Handing Roy the Nightwing suit. Kory then handled the Robin suit. Her fingers excitedly played at the collar. Not that she took them out as much as one would imagine. They were just special to her, as silly as it may seem. it just didn't to her. Smiled sweetly at Roy's gratitude, before eyeing what Roy was questioning about.. Oh, right! The pile she had started to make of Dick's clothes. She smiled extra at his comment… He might as well be living here… This was her point exactly, but if it was seemingly to quick, then all she could do is wait for Dick to realise the truth. Even though she thought he was being completely silly about it.
"Oh, I knew I forgot to do something today! Gratitudes for reminding me…"
Kory happily thanked Roy for reminding her. As her smile lit up, hopefully she had time before Dick came home. She pondered a little. Her orange hand gently touched Roy's shoulder as a gratitude gesture as with still the Robin suit at her arm. Kory motioned for her very decorative laundry basket. Happily picking up the loose items, she hadn't had the time to add them to the pile. Though as usual, it filled up quickly. She managed skilfully the rest of the items on top of the basket. With her strength it wasn't heavy by any means. She insisted when Dick had to rest and she wanted to see her floor again at some point. So she happily did it and vastly enjoyed it. On rare occasion he'd help, but she generally was the one raising the hand. Luckily she had a laundry little section, closet thing in her apartment. Otherwise public raised to many questions, Dick said. She'd make a pit stop before changing in the bathroom… Least that was her plan, as Roy then questioned. Very politely, that Kory smiled as she stopped and giggled a little in his struggle with the suit. If it was on thing Kory knew was getting them on and off.
"I've got enough hands, but thank-you anyways! Oh, there's this thing called a zip… It actually gave Dick some trouble, so I shouldn't be long, if you need help…. I'll just go take care of these and change."
Pointedly Kory remarked about not needing extra hands, though politely thanked him anyways. It shouldn't be too difficult, as Kory eyed the Robin suit draped over her arm.. With amusing smile, she reached a hand to the Nightwing suit and unzipped the zip a little. It blended in really well, but once you knew. You knew. Commenting on previous issues with the zip, Kory assured she be able to help if needed once she had put the clothes in the tumbler and put on Robin's suit. All for fun. Of course. Kory smiled before her bubbly self left Roy alone in her room. Taking care of Dick's clothes in more ways than one.

That didn't happen often… Kory getting a little caught up… Roy smiled playfully within her hair upon his shoulder. Before she sat up and his brown eyes could see the faint change in colour upon her cheeks. With both the knowing look. Roy half rolled his eyes as Kory admit it. Like it was a surprise as his head rested more comfy in his new pillow. Kory defiantly had that way of making it feel homely, softly his cheeky smile softened. As he listened to Kory's question. Words. Watching as she was searching for the correct words. She knew what she felt, it was just a matter of explaining them… Maybe. It was still strange, but it was hardly the worst idea Roy had heard. Least of all it was surrounded by very little danger. Well, then it was Dick, who knew what was in his suits. Roy smiled knowingly of boys and their toys. Dick never had as many as Roy. Perhaps he was a little jealous.
"I think we've long past the strange, Kory. The tower wasn't exactly filled with the most sensible of people, but sure was a lot of fun… I even miss the old rust bucket and the wannabe green animorph! See I never thought too much of capes, too many chances it get caught in the wires… That be a hard thing explaining when I'm strung up side down and all red. Just easier to avoid it."
Roy as he was known to do, rambled on. Reminding Kory of the group of freaks they called a family. She was hardly the odd one out, it was sort of what made the team more special. Those that didn't feel a place or felt like a shadow, they had each other. An understanding. Accepted each other for the people there were. Learnt and grew. That there was no great rivalry, not that titans didn't like a little competition, in the spirit of it all. They lived and breathed their hero lives almost as much as they simply lived along side each other. You know those ugly sides you only see when you're roommates, catching each other off guard. That happened daily. Little escaping. Roy jokingly mentioned Victor and Gar. Making fun wasn't new, but if anyone outside started in on them, then Roy would stick a gun too their head. Or there a bouts. Soon following the sexy red head too her bedroom, whilst Roy continued to ramble on about capes and why one may never see him in one. 'Oh'. Roy mouthed with a snicker under his breath as Kory mentioned the suit was possibly a spare, assuming it wasn't active basically… Well, that totally made it better, Roy rolled his eyes. He was feeling the target on his back slowly growing. Larger and larger. Though when Kory commented in response of Dick's mess. Clothes. His mouth half fell open… Seriously, that dirty dirty 'bastard', Roy snickered under his breath.
"You do Dick's laundry?"
Roy pointedly asked, whilst as his eyes followed as Kory gathered the clothes into the laundry basket. With the curious raise of his brow. Not that Roy was surprised by the mess, it was Dick and he knew Kory was the caring type. It was just the proof… Wasn't it. He couldn't blame Dick. Roy laughed a little under his breath, cute when Kory was technically the princess… Gracefully he bowed his own head as Kory said thank-you, but no thank-you. Well, was worth the shot. Even if it was very long one. Roy playfully frowned as she laughed at him. Putting his hands up as if to say 'hey, I'm not the one that undresses Dick with my eyes or otherwise'… Because knowing would have been, telling. His eyes relaxed from the frown as Kory unzipped the suit a little. Well, of course. This still felt really weird. Roy wasn't sure how'd he feel if Dick turned around and put his suit on… Roy laughed to himself, because most like Dick would end up killing himself. They were just a little different in their personas. Roy would happily say he was more dangerous… In a good way.
"We'll see… Thank-you Kory!"
Casually Roy nodded with a smile in regards to any trouble, Roy was sure he could manage a zip. After all he could literally make a weapon out of anything. Give him nothing and he'd find something. Though Kory helping wouldn't be the worst thing to hit his pride. As he sweetly winked at her. With his own gratitude. Eyes didn't linger too long as Kory walked off with a sway out the door… Right..? Suit… Roy raised a brow… This was close to hitting below the belt, but couldn't say he wasn't curious. Perhaps even ideas to update his own suit… Research? That might make this go a lot smoother. Otherwise dare to face the wrath of Kory's green eyes looking at you as if you had just ruined her childhood dreams. It wasn't like she was asking him to jump of a cliff and trying to convince him she'd catch him. Sucking it up like the gentleman that he is. Undressed. Then stepped into the suit. Pulling it up… Was more forgiving than one would had thought. Though… Tightly. As many heroes tended to dress like. Arsenal suit was tight, but not as tight as this, but then Roy was no acrobat. Hand moved down to do up the zip, it work fine a little bit, but there was a snag at a point. There was a struggle, but with a fiddling, it zipped up… Most of the way… What was the point… Ok, now what? Half, pondering… Get it off, get it off. But moving around in it a little, he didn't mind it so much… Soon heard the sound of motion behind him… Kory no doubt… Turning and his jaw could have done push ups on the floor. Not that she wasn't good looking in general, but he defiantly felt extra tightness, in his throat…
"Holy smokes, Kory!"
Now he wasn't going towards the wolf whistling, he was above that, but not above being utterly taken back a little. As his eyes ran up Kory's bare legs, that seemed to go on forever, with green little shorts, seemed more like the boy short style on her more than on Dick. Roy's hand naturally came at the back of his neck… 'Oh, Boy'.. As he looked without completely staring her down, but she defiantly made it look completely new. As his eyes ran up the familiar red and green, but of course more restricted. Lets say, defiantly a woman's touch… Not that Roy was admiring her chest. As his eyes playfully looked away as if he was sinning right now. He wasn't stupid. Finally looking Kory more towards her eyes. Watching her spin, he smiled more gentleman like, defiantly smiling and not regretting any of this now… He laughed as he eyed the cape. Dick was a teen then and Kory was always taller than him. She made the cape look smaller. Cuter. He could tell she was certainly enjoying herself and asked how did she look?
"Beautiful!"
There were probably other things Roy could have said, but it was simple, but straight to the point. No lie within it… As he charmingly smiled. Dick was a lucky man, Roy was sure there was chance Dick be locking Roy's door tonight. Maybe. That certainly was going to be interesting… After a few more playful minutes. Had it been almost half an hour. How time could fly. As yeah as cool as it was, Roy was wanting to get out of this suit, after a couple photos and just playing at 'Dick's moves'… It was very poetic. When Roy began the unzipping. That was when it got stuck again. With a gentle helping by Kory, Roy defiantly was smiling. Not that he was being creepy, she was still a classy lady… Though eventually the zip came down. He eyed her playfully as Roy soon stripped, but only look up Kory was half out the bedroom again. Heading to the kitchen to prepare supper. Leaving Roy stripped and slowly regain his dignity one clothing item at a time. Beginning with his pants.

A little red? Yes, guilty… Kory was half close to saying, she was only human. X'hal that didn't happen often and she could say how true that was. Not like a tamaranean couldn't. That was proof, right? As Roy rambled on as only Roy could. It wasn't because Kory was being impolite, but one seemed to lose track or wish to find a way to stop him from talking. Though there were times it would grow on you. In regards to Titans. He wasn't far off the mark. There certainly was a lot memories. Some of which were still yet too happen. Least for Kory, still being a partial role in the team. It wasn't something you just up and left so easily… Her green eyes scowled at him amusingly in regards to the non-sensible people of the group, maybe a certain few. Oh, who was she kidding and found herself laughing. Even in those awkward moments, it was indeed fun, even if it didn't seem funny at the time for some.
"Ah! I miss our book club… Do I even want to ask…?"
Kory commented from Roy's word sprung the memory… Well wasn't so much a book club, but it went a long way in making sense of it… The many many phases. Slowly questioning when Roy mentioned what could happen if he wore a cape. A little confuse, but not entirely sure she wanted too know. What it was he was suggesting… Could be anything above. Ok, feeling less human and caught Roy's simple no with an amused shake of his head… With the basket in hand whilst balancing the clothes. She blushed a little at Roy's questioning. His surprise? She was sure there was nothing wrong with her doing it. Kory looked to him innocently. Pausing for a moment. Feeling she was missing something, but failing to see the problem if she liked to do it.
"Sure, sometimes… It's not going to do it, itself!"
With more assuring joy in her manner, Kory confirmed. Not all the time, but certainly this wasn't the first. She liked seeing her floor at some point. Like she said with a smile, it wasn't like there was a genie to be rid of the mess. Not that she really ever bothered him about it. If she cleaned, she often just did it and enjoyed doing it. Dick was after all the guest. Kory had already motioned for the door. Before finding a quiet place to change. Kory stopped by the space where the washing machine was. Sorting out the clothes, before putting the clothes in, that were allowed too. Dropped a tablet of sorts in. Turned the dial and let the machine do the rest.. Pick up. Carry. Drop clothes in machine. Easy enough. Now Robin's suit. Strange, but least she could say she'd done it least once. Got it off her chest. Funny. Before slipping out of her casual wear. Slipped on the green shorts, not trying to stretch them too much. She was reminded of how tiny he was, let alone short when she put the top on, was a little snug as eventually did the front up, but left the rest, it was too risky if she ripped it. That would be sad and reason only to do this once. Clipping on the cape. But left the rest of the suit alone. She didn't want to upset Dick too much, if this seemed disrespectful, but was out of a place she more than loved him. Though perhaps a little bit of her, was thinking this would make him smile. Least she got that impression when human females put on their partners jerseys and such. Though Dick's honesty Kory loved the most.
"AW! Thank-you Roy!"
Kory expressed brightly in a little turn around. Smiling sweetly with warmth, at the gesture and kind words. Returning flattering words to Roy, but as good as he looked. Agreed that it wasn't the same… Probably the lack of red. Though remarked she was impressed he handled the zip nicely. There was a little time, but what else was there after dressing? Than dressing back out of it.. Kory certainly was content. Just a spur of the moment kind of thing… Before she could speak, Roy was at the undressing part., but there goes that zip again… Although not that bad. Just a little fiddling and it was free. Roy relaxed as if he could breath again.
"Oh..! I'm going to start dinner, Roy… I really am glad you're here. Please make yourself at home. I'll leave you to unpack or any of the sort… When you're ready, you know where to find me!"
With a glimpse even too the window. It was nearing the end of the say. The sun was just beginning to set, so there was still sometime, but Kory liked to get an early dinner in. Usually on the lighter side, not before patrolling or who knows what kind of battle. Plus, Dick could be coming home any minute. Smiled to Roy as she expressed he was welcomed. This was his home for now. Prompted for friendly hug, which almost seemed odd given the obvious… They both laughed… Oh! Kory pondered after all this, he probably wanted a little space to settle in his room… Without her hovering over him, smiling softly with a sweet look. Soon turning and left Roy to undress. To get comfy in his new home.
Once in the kitchen, Kory was of course in no great rush, a decent pace. She wasn't completely new to it now. She'd been on Earth enough, although even many humans that spent their entire lives, couldn't exactly be called great cooks. Kory least enjoyed it… She was thinking stir-fry. Simple and health enough. Hmmm, maybe if she made a plentiful amount there be some for later. Pulling out a wok like pan from one of her kitchen draws. Hooked it up. Opening the fridge and pulled out a some veggies… Noodles. Bringing them on the bench beside her pan. With a chopping board and a knife, began chopping away. Carrot after carrot. Putting what she chopped too the side. Chopped up some tiny corns, roughly. Whilst humming gently. No great way of cutting. They ranged from size to size, but it was colour. Kory was sure that mattered. Chopped a little at the snow peas. Whilst snagging one or two for herself. Still not sure why when they were green not white, but they sure tasted good. With the spinach, ripped bits here and there. Playing with it between her fingers. It defiantly was fun. Maybe Dick would be home in time to help? Kory pondered, that ended up sometimes messy though. Least hopefully home soon. As she looked outside at the gloomy day. Maybe she should call? Maybe he wasn't coming by as she had thought? No… She was sure. He was good with his promises, more than many gave him credit for.
Moving from different parts of her cute kitchen found herself playing with the cape a little. Swirling. Not greatly, but it was fun. Of course doing her best not to get the suit dirty by any means, but a part of her was probably wanting to surprise Dick… She's change soon, it was a little restrictive in areas. Plus for her it looked better on Dick, oddly it still smelt like him. She very much liked the shorts. Leaving her skin bare to the air. She's turned her system on a gentle warmth temperature with what left of winter turning into spring. She was really looking forward to spring and summer. It be the first time experiencing that in Bludhaven, she was a little bit excited. It meant more chances of picnics. Apart from the work of course. Running her hand through her red locks. Tousling her thick head hair around her. Awaiting for her long lost love whilst chopping up the rest of the veggies for dinner. Not just for two. A little excited Dick would find out soon, she was sure, but she also hoped he would be happy about it… Though it would allow lesser alone time. Grabbing her little remote, she clicked on the radio. For some tunes and news. Not too loud, just in the background a little. Humming a little as Kory slowly began warming up the pan...

It had been a long day. He had been at Kory's earlier that morning after patrol. And he had spend some quality time with her that was over due since his last case he took on. Getting back to his flat, he had more computer work than what his mobile computers could handle on the move.
Which a little more light sleep. Then training. He had then been off to the academy for some more work and tests to run through. He hadn't stopped at his place after the academy. And Kory's was closer to the station than his was, so stopping there was more sensible.
The black pair of pants he had one no longer had his light blue button down shirt tucked in like it had been for the academy. He had been in the office sector that day. He had long since ditched the tie somewhere long the way in the car he had taken instead of his bike.
There were no other traces of the work he had just come from besides the dress shirt and the black pants. When he had gotten up to Kory's he slipped his shoes off at the door to give himself a break. From the looks of the place, Kory had been cleaning. And from the smells of it, she must be cooking now. It's didn't take a detective to figure that one out.
He hadn't said a word as he came into the apartment. He was slightly tired from being on his feet most of the day and he could manage a few hours of down time before a patrol. He roughed his hand through his hair slightly as he walked toward the kitchen.
"Hey, Kor. I'm back....," Dick stopped mid sentence when he saw Kory dressed the way she was.
What was she doing? He recognized the suit right away. It was odd as well as hot all at once. Only something Kory would be able to come up with and pull off. Sometimes he didn't like to leave her alone. And this was between the lines at the moment.
His eyes swept over her. The length of her legs catching his eyes lot as well as how her figure shaped the old suit in a way it had never been worn.
Dick was half stuck in the door way, lose for words or how to react. He hadn't thought he'd walk in one something like this. But the suit was odd. Though Kory could be that way, very much so at times.
He was getting slightly hot under the collar. "Kory.....what....?" Dick walked further into the kitchen towards her. Quite surprised to say the least.
And with them being alone...several thoughts were running through his head. And a lot of questions. But seeing her was enough to get him excited.

It had been a long time since Kory had seen Dick… A few hours. Enough hours. Very much looking to him home… Hopefully soon. Though with much a happy tone inside and out. As the tamaranean princess had began making dinner. Putting the first lot of ingredients in the wok. With a nice steam and aroma that filled the air. Kitchen and possibly down a few halls. Depended on who's nose… Who knew, maybe Gar could from New York! Probably not. Was she much of a chef or cook? Not really. As she made for the jar for the sauce. She certainly wished to learn more. As she dabbed a finger a little into the sauce. Tasting it lightly. With a curious look, before settling on that it seemed good than bad. Slowly began stirring it in the wok, with the veggies and noodles. With light hum to the quiet radio music, Not much sound had trickled down and for the most part had forgotten she was wearing a Robin suit. It felt a little like home. Though there was an extra thud to her warmed heart. Made her feel all warm and tingly.
When she heard Dick's footsteps near the kitchen and greeted her. Which was generally a daily occurrence, but every time as delightful. Not that there weren't little rough patches, but it a good thing to have your best friend come home. Mostly every night… It seemed a little out of place if he didn't. Though more often or not, there was some sort of embrace. Whether it was Dick giving her a peck and Kory looking to him as if he was serious, suggesting that wasn't much of a hello… More often than not, he'd more than make up for it… Other times of course, he might not make many steps into the door, not that she was on his back so eagerly. Just often with a massage, to help wind him down. Not that him lurking in doorways staring never happened, but Kory defiantly looked up too see what was up. With a quite delighted smile to see him. Her eyes panning up from his rather bare. Yet cute feet. Dark pants, untuck blue shirt. Why did he lose the tie? Kory curiously wondered. He was eager or tired! She was sure she could guess as she looked to his hair with a giggle. He could he be any more handsome. Though after checking him out, innocently. Noted his pause… More gaze… As slowly her cheeks went a little red… Not entirely embarrassed, she liked the suit, but she had maybe stayed in the suit… Curious to see what Dick thought. Not generally a man of words, but he didn't seem too disappointed in her. Maybe even enjoyed? As she felt his eyes. She was used to eyes upon her for various reasons, but being attractive to the man she loved, that felt more amazing than with any other… Grinned as she blushed. As Dick walked then towards her, surprised and confused. Not looking to him too straight in the eyes. It was a little odd him seeing her in his suit, but as odd as it was… It certainly felt good… Least of course if he wasn't angry with her at all.
"Dick… I… Hope you don't mind! I was curious what it was like to wear and after last night. The young lady on TV wearing the gentleman's jersey, they seemed delighted by it… I thought this was similar, I don't recall you having a jersey… Right? I think you looked better in it, but… Is it ok?"
Little not sure how to phrase it, but never one to hide anything from him. Least not on purpose. So she confessed a little. Enough hopefully to answer why. As of course she put on her innocent smile, blushing sweetly. Kory was sure she knew him well enough, but he still could surprise her. Mentioning lightly of the TV programming they had been entertained by the past evening. Not that it had been much of a planned thing to put on the Robin suit, but that had certainly somehow brought up the idea. A spur of an idea. It seemed harmless!. Although maybe the Nightwing t-shirts were like the jersey, which she'd already come to wear from time to time. This seemed more the proper deal. In ways of trying to explain, Kory still didn't know what Dick was thinking. She didn't like to just assume. Spinning a little on her heels as she'd asked him.
"It's surprisingly comfortable! I'll take it off soon… How was your day?"
With a little more assuring smile as Kory lit up enough to be honest. That the suit didn't feel bad to wear. Now that she had the chance to wear it. Going back to the wok a little to stir it a bit. Dinner wouldn't be long now, so taking the suit off would probably be best. Turning the dial down a little. To simmer. Keep temperature. Allowing more time as Kory turned back to Dick. Asking kindly how his day was, as he somewhat knew how she'd spent hers. She smiled amusingly to him. They defiantly were alone and she had missed him… Which was oddly clearer today! Break what distance was left. Her fingers found his midsection and danced a little up his chest. Kory had missed his lips. Despite the oddness of being dressed as Robin. Certainly he still saw and felt Kory. She looked to him a little more playfully now…
"Care for a sneak peek?"
Questionable what she meant, they both know he'd seen it all if his mind was going there. Probably sooner than later, again. Though she meant. Motioning for another quick stir into the stir-fry. Spooning a little into the stirring spoon… To offer him a taste, curious what he thought. She was still very much in learners territory, but defiantly trying… Enjoyed it! As she blew on the spoon a little, worked somewhat despite not breathing oxygen. What she breathed was much a mystery for another time. Of course there were things in the Kitchen she wasn't as good at.
"Could you do me a favour, hon? The garlic bread! Please?"
That seemed to go well with a lot of meals… Who didn't like garlic bread. Not enough for bad breath. Though Kory couldn't say she'd had the best success rate when coming to putting it in the oven or the time she tried self heating. Dick seemed generally better when it came to bread and correct time. Asking him of course politely. She sure could if she had to, but couldn't say she was as confident. She didn't mind sharing the kitchen, doing the small things together as a couple. The humanly things… Noises from down the hall from the bedroom section, drifted a little into the kitchen… Remembering Dick was unaware.
"There was also something I needed to tell you… I should have earlier today, I apologise… We have a roommate!"
Stepping away from Dick a little, not to far. They were both still in the kitchen, a nice size. Modern. Beautiful, but not enormous. Kory didn't like secrets, which wouldn't be a great secret to him. Not that she couldn't if she had to, but Kory valued honesty. Especially with him. So she hoped he'd believe her when she mentioned it wasn't her intension to keep it from him… Maybe partly thought it as a nice surprise… Well, until Roy suggested… He could make anyone a little worried. Which was part reason she said yes…. A very big part. After trying to get himself killed. Kory didn't want to lose him. He needed support. Just as she was she heard his footsteps down the hall. To make an appearance and mentioned that they had a roommate… Noting she didn't say new, because they had lived with Roy in the tower once upon a time. Many things change and somethings never do.

Dick was a bit surprised by her. He could never know what the expect what she might do next. But this was an interesting concept on Kory's part.
"Well I don't think that is quite what society has in mind as a jersey," Dick laughed a bit.
There a a big difference between a jersey and a vigilante suit. It was more of a costume to society. But to them it was close to the same thing.
"I mean for me....it's hard to say. I gave it to you. But I wouldn't go out in public like that since it isn't like a jersey in many ways," Dick replied.
He tried to be gentle about this. He wasn't going to tell her she couldn't wear it or that she shouldn't. He gave it to her. But to him he was a bit lost as far as what to say to her. It was hard to say no.
"It was busy. A lot more paper work and grunt work rather than training," Dick commented.
He had been at the academy for some time now. But the training was thorough to help them be able to succeeded in the force. And Dick was planning on keeping an eye on Bludhaven as much as he could.
A sneak-peek passed two signals to Dick in what Kory said. There was one taking over more than his common sense at that time though. But once she to motioned toward the stove, be could easily figure out which signal it was she mean. He followed her and looked at what she was cooking.
As she offered him a taste of what she was cooking he tried it. "That's really good," he said. Then she asked him to do something.
"Sure," Dick said as he grabbed it for her.
His eyes never really left her as he moved. He came back to her. She had his attention as soon as he had walked through the door.
But then he heard the notice down the hall. Dick view shifted toward the hall for a moment wondering what or who that was. Kory's words brought his view back on her.
"Roommate? Since when were you looking for a roommate," Dick questioned her.
