The party was echoing the vibe of fun. Oddly it was echoing memories. Just thanks to X'hal it were the better memories. Kory smiled softly. It didn't need words. For her to know, that Dick knew exactly what Kory was talking about. One doesn't spend countless days and nights without it linking them together. He was quite possible more than just the the first to open his heart to her, but open to things unable to name. Her gently ran over. That rather homely feeling. It could never trap her. At least thats what Kory told herself. If it ever did. If he ever did, Kory was blinded to see it, Felt the wee feeling of tingles in the touches. The closeness in their now slowed dance. Robin Hood. As her eyes ran over. Glimmered ever so gently as gave her hope of seeing him later. Sure, he could sense the sharp sparks now set off, having to keep her self settled. Because if it was up to her, she wouldn't well hide so well on who they really were.
"Oh, come on. We both know you can beat the traffic in leaps and bounds… Just come when you can. No need to rush, you might hurt yourself."
Sarcasm wasn't her strongest feature, but Kory still tried. As her amused smile grew as she even tried to imagine the traffic being in Nightwing's way. He could not fly as she could, but close. Assuring him more seriously that whenever he made it, would better than it being never. Even if by chances she was already asleep, it be a pleasant sight to wake up to. No, Kory wouldn't want to miss smiles like that. As her softened and yet grew. Catching the small ways his cheeks blushed. Or so Kory thought she was catching. Her fingers even faintly moving to one cheek. Felt the faint bubbling of cheer at thought of walls springing up on them. Escaping a faint laugh, she remained silent in words, but made up for it in how she looked to him. Slowly her eyes lowered at his words of dancing later. Well, if tonight was the only guarantee, then Kory would have to savour it as much as she could. As her smile came again and nodded sweetly. Although she was sure she could help find another disguise for him, somehow dressing him seemed like a fun idea, but one he most likely say no to.
"If not out, there is always less eyes at my place… You tease me."
Going out would be fun, every now and then, but dancing at home could be quite fun. Kory suggested sweetly. Smiled and felt her pulse race at his words of soon. It couldn't be soon enough. As her mind ran what he could possibly spoiler her with. It couldn't be candy. Or could it? Kory contemplated, but was ultimately was going no where with it. In which point Kory had eventually found her way to where Barbara was and made a little small talk. Greeted her. It seemed pleasant enough, but Kory wasn't entirely sure Barbara was completely ok with Kory, least they were friendly to each other. Would it lead to friendship? That was maybe a large leap for now, but Kory could only hope it be a relationship thats at least very civil. A few moments after speaking Kory motioned away, having found herself hugging Barbara more out of instinct, not noting whether Barbara pulled away. Kory smiled a little as she walked on. That seemed to have gone well. Least Kory knew she had taken the first step. To whatever path it was. Moving back through the crowd. Her green eyes looked to find Dick again, though for a moment was having a hard time finding him. He apparently wasn't the only Robin Hood here. Moving through the crowd near where Victor and Force were dancing. Stopping short as her eyes looked around. Even glanced to the odd pair dancing. A mini Starfire and an Indie. It was rather cute.
"Is this when one says Marco?"
Kory quietly asked herself as if it was possible to be getting lost at her own party. She could always find Dick Grayson. Even in shadows. She could only imagine what ran through his mind to see the two red heads speak. Kory herself could only guess which red head he focused on the most. Not that Kory was the jealous type. Nor the competition type. Though they shared similar shade of hair and in ways both had green eyes. They were quite different. The easiest being Kory was an alien. Barbara was human. This Earth would be kinder to the possibilities of Dick and Babs. Then Earth didn't know love in ways Tamaran did. All Kory could do was be here and know on some level he did love her. Kory just didn't know what level that was.

Victor was still bent over but not breathing has heavily. He'd need to work on that if he didn't want a patrol to end badly. "That's just a nice way of saying that I could've done better, eh?" He asked with a small amused smile. "But you're right I did have fun."
He looked at Force with another amused smile. He had to see what she would do. When he finished watching her dance he straightened back up and raised his eyebrows. "So you know you're stuff don't you?" He commented. He was pretty sure that she had some skill after watching her dance. That wasn't something you picked up over night. He figured he would have to ask her where she learned that sometime. But not now and it wasn't all that important. After all it was a party. No need to be overly serious right now.
He looked over to see who Force was talking about and saw Kory standing with another redhead. He figured she must be talking about the other one. Seeing as it was clear that he knew who Kory was. "No I don't know who she is." He said with a shake of his head. Then he found himself watching Kory move through the crowd. This time however he manged to catch himself this time. He quickly turned around and looked back to Force. "So shall we have a dance off? He asked jokingly. In reality he was trying to distract himself from his thoughts.
Then die to his hearing he heard Kory say something about 'Marco' he felt a strong urge come on and was unable to stop it. "Polo" He muttered. Then he looked to Force. "I've got to find away to get around what the full moon does to me." He commented.

Phoebe laughs and has to ask, "I don't know - does that count as a dance?" All she did was try to make a decent attempt at something like dance moves - she has no idea if she really succeeded or not. But then again, she had fun too, and that's kind of the whole point, isn't it?
Looking over at who Kory's talking to, she immediately becomes less interested when Victor doesn't know who the other woman is. Must not be anyone that important then. She has to suppress a smile when Kory keeps Victor's attention a bit longer - it's just so cute how much he likes her, and equally as sad that it looks like that's not going to go his way. Poor guy.
When his attention comes back to her, she smiles and is about to rather enthusiastically answer his question about the idea of a dance-off, but before she can figure out how to put that into words, he interrupts with his response to Kory. She smiles slightly as she mildly comments, "I don't know - I think that I would win a dance off too easy if you're going to keep getting distracted like that." He may be trying to distract himself from his thoughts, but he's not doing an especially good job. Though she does give him a sympathetic smile about it.
