Jason walked around the amusement park, taking in the sights. Seeing the park dumbfounded Jason a little bit. Before he died, the area had been run down and the Joker had taken it over. But, like alot of things since Jason died, that has changed. The park was full of bright colors, and was really a fantastic sight. The only thing missing was, well, people.
There were a few families walking around, not many though. The majority of the families were probably tourists. Jason walked over to a pretzel vendor and bought one. Normally Jason would never buy carnival food, it was overpriced and not that good anyway. But today, he was feeling happy, so why not celebrate. Besides, he's at the carnival, might as well have the full experience. And money isn't really a problem, he is one of the richest people in Gotham. Jason tore off a piece a of pretzel and stuck in his mouth. It was warm and soft. He was about to eat another bite when he saw some familiar faces.
Jason watched as a man around the same age as him with red hair walked past him. This normally wouldn't be a big deal, but he looked familiar, and the person he was walking with stood out quite a bit. The man was walking with an extremely tall woman. Her eyes were bright green, here skin orange, and her long, curly hair a dark red. Jason sat for a second, trying to figure out who it could be. No way... It can't be... Is that Roy and Kori? What are they doing in Gotham?
Jason stood up, took two more bites of his pretzel and threw the rest away. He walked behind the man and woman for a few minutes, making sure it was them. After assuring his guess, he walked up behind them, put his hands on their shoulders, and with a smile said, "Well if it isn't my favorite reject sidekick and my favorite Tamaranean princess."

The day was seemingly just getting better. As the bright summer day was seriously starting to kick in. After a lengthy sleep in and followed by a nap on the porch. Summer was just screaming for sun bathing, for Kory. She was just made of the sun. With the day loose with no work, although not for all it would seem. Dick was most likely burying his sexy nose into him day job as a cop, yep. Last she saw him, she kissed him off, before finally handing him over his hat. She could be a little bit of a klepto with his belongings. Not to be discouraged with the lack of his presence. It was the perfect day to go into Gotham City. Tagging Roy along, because he was bored, all but grabbing him as Kory took to the sky. She figured she'd skipping taking a car or a bus. Went for a little more adventure. Despite anyone catching a glimpse, but she flew in away it was a little different to Superman's style. Mostly because she didn't have cape. So rather she shot through the sky like a fireball. Soaked up the sun some more. Energising the tamaranean princess from within… Just adding to her golden bright glow. She was happy, that was putting it lightly. Only thing missing was a little added fun. So she ended up taking a detour and flew to the south of Gotham… It had been a while since she'd checked out the Amusement Mile and she adored carnivals.
Upon arrival, Kory landed a short distance away, really no one would have expected a thing. With the extra little skip in her step, they arrived at the gates. With big welcoming signs and colourful fuzzy mascots. She really wasn't sure if that was suppose to be a bunny? As she walked by and it kinda looked at her funny. Roy moved her along before the bunny thought to seep his paws on her. Ushering her towards the ticket booth and the pair purchased their tickets. Soon entered through the gate and met with the glorious rides. It wasn't jam packed, but perhaps that was because the kids were in school? Which would mean, small queues. That was a bonus… As Kory walked with Roy into the colourful and joyful environment. Smell of sweet candy and fried food… Her nostrils were already tickling at the sensation of Cotton candy.
"I hardly no where to begin Roy… Cotton Candy or Giant roller coaster…. X'hal, they have a spaceship!"
It really was a little like a crossroads in wonderland. Fun at every bright corner. As Kory's green eyes lit up big to the environment with a sweet smile. It did kinda bring back the memories of the carnival in New York, that was just a magical place for various other reasons. This was almost there… As Kory wavered her golden hand at the options. Very different options. Suppose they could always combine it. The cotton candy, might really disappear then. Before Kory surprisingly pointed out the spaceship… It was almost as impressive as her own. This one seemed kinda odd shaped for it size, but it spun. Spaceships don't usually do that, which generally made these rides incredibly fun. Kory winked playfully recalling Roy puking last time. Some just can't handle such mastery. Walking a little more randomly, as Kory's red fiery locks swayed gently against her back. She went simple in her purple just above the knee length dress. A little blue hand bag. Purple low heel shoes. Along with a pair of sunglasses. Leaving her exposed skin to soak in the sun and glisten like gold. It wasn't long after they began to walk through the carnival that there came a touch. The bunny? A hand to Kory's shoulder. It initially made her jump and she motioned a hand to the strange appendage touching her. Twisting it in her initial shock and gentle frown to her green eyes, as she turned and faced him…
"Jason..? Oh my… X'hal! Is it really you?"
Her mouth almost dropped to the floor in the shock, now surprise. Her cheeks glowed as she soaked in every inch of the familiar man before them. All thoughts of a threat completely went out the window. She could barely believe it, but she ultimately knew she completely did. Kory motioned and broke the space. Pulling him into a deep hug…. Very long over due.

When the dawn had broken of course Roy was up. Down on his floor doing push ups. Working his muscles and abs. Well, he almost did, as he was almost dragged out of bed. He was certain he would have eventually got some kind of work in. Before he promptly sitting at the table, watching the soft scenes out of the notebook or one of them candy crushing love sick movies. Watching the love birds all, but feed each other breadcrumbs… Oh seriously, he was sure if he puked, there be candied hearts. Swiftly he chugged his orange juice down like a champ, with a half residing burp. He wasn't charming without a couple little perks…. Before long and Kory barking about getting out of the house. Going to Gotham. Somehow it didn't exactly have the same ring to it than, we're going to Disneyland…. But, least it beat hanging around the house, snoozing the day away. So like always cut down to time. Roy dug around his room. Threw on his yesterday pants. Pulled a singlet from a mixed pile and looked for a t-shirt that had somehow escaped under his bed, along with a bra apparently. Which of course, was not his… Then before he could really brush his teeth and rinse. He was out the door… More like up and over the balcony, he wasn't even drunk. He had no complaints with Kory holding him as they flew… No problems what so ever… Oh, crap! As his eyes almost collided with a tree, when he finally looked up. He all but screamed for Kory to fly up, but little direction was needed. This tamaranean princess was a pro up in the sky.
Even more so with the safe landing. Roy was certainly happy to plant his feet to the ground, but he certainly was missing something now… Before long he tagged along with Kory, half keeping up as they made way through the entrance. Buying tickets. When we say tickets… We mean tickets. This space kitty was ready to go round, right round and most likely round again. Bless her child like heart, in a very grown up body… Roy was certainly eyeing the place coming in… Although part of him was waiting for the catch. How in the words does the Joker just up and leave it without a reminder… Raising a brow as Kory pointed and was pulled at the various options… Uh, maybe he could spin her on her heels and see what she lands on, no that would be crude.
"Don't you get enough cotton candy at home? This maybe past my better judgement, but how about beginning at the start… Whatever comes first."
Roy asked curious given the cotton candy machine in her bedroom, clearly very well used. Suppose a tamaranean and her fetishes wasn't that far out of women and their fetishes. Rather than explode his own mind. He suggested going with whatever was first. Perhaps it be their luck and this place went around in a circle, otherwise he wasn't sure he was much one for deciding… Although roller coaster was certainly something he was game for. He had a knack for things that went fast. He rolled his eyes aimlessly at Kory winking regarding the spaceship. He hardly puked as much as Gar did, then again with a green face, who really could be surprised. So long as Kory doesn't force disgusting oyster guts down his throat again, Roy was sure he'd hold his stomach this time round… It really wasn't long at all, before there came the touch to their shoulders. Only Roy was less physical than Kory, though he certainly was taken back a little. Initially thinking great, its Dick coming to call dibs again. The dude could really be paranoid sometimes… On it wasn't Dick at all, well… There were similarities. As Roy's eyes widened at the sight of Jason. Last time he saw him, was down some dark streets with him as Robin trying to offer Roy wisdom. Yeah, it was just as unexpected.
"Jaybird… Hey, easy Kory. Don't go crushing his windpipe… I hardly expected to see you pop out in a place like this."
Came the short tease, though Roy was hardly going to pull Kory off, if that would be even remotely possible. After the initial shock, though it was somewhat still there for Roy, before motioned between the space if possible. For gesture at Jason's hand, call it a greeting in a more manly way, before Roy jokingly commented. Although suppose it fitted, if Joker was who killed him, he'd come to the amusement mile? Yeah, somewhere there was a punchline, Roy was sure of it… Roy was unsure whether the degree of excitement, this dude had been off the grid and then shows up, but he was certainly cool enough to give him the benefit of the doubt. Especially when the dude literally went through hell, you kinda think something like that would give you some kind of pass.

Jason yelped as his wrist was twisted.
"Jason..? Oh my… X'hal! Is it really you?"
Jason rubbed his throbbing wrist.
"Hi, Kori. Good to see you too." Jason said with a bit of sarcasm. The man was suddenly pulled into a tight hug. "Ow! Ow! Kori! You are going to break every bone in my body! Lighten up a little! Ow! You're hot!" Jason said urgently as Kori's skin began to give him a light sun burn.
"Jaybird… Hey, easy Kory. Don't go crushing his windpipe… I hardly expected to see you pop out in a place like this."
"Hey, Roy. I think that's the pot calling the kettle black. I hardly expected to see you and Kori in Gotham."
Jason looked down at the hand extended towards him.
"Really, Roy? A handshake?" Jason said playfully.
He took the other man's hand and shook it. He patted Roy on the back. He gestured to a nearby table for Roy and Kori. As Kori and Roy sat down Jason walked over to a nearby vendor. He payed for the food and drinks and walked back over to the table. He handed cotton candy to Kori, also handing her a cola.
"I thought you might like those, Kori. As for you and me, Roy. I got some pretzels and something a little bit... stronger." Jason said as he set a beer down in front of Roy.
"I always carry a fake ID on me. The beer here is awful, but we can hit a bar or something later. So, what are you two doing here in Gotham?"

Upon the initial yelping from Jason, perhaps cuter than a puppy. Kory mindfully and sweetly pecked light kisses against his wrist. With light giggles in between, she would have paid more attention, but well… She hadn't seen him in a very long time… Maybe bumped into him… Nonetheless, Kory was overjoyed to see his sweet face again. Some perhaps saw this huge rebel, but he was still sweet to her. Plus she didn't mind his edges. Wrapping her tight arms around him. Nuzzling his cheekbone. She grinned at his reaction, she almost forgot he could be quite playful… Serious at times, but when you cut him down at the centre… So much more… She blushed as he began to express the pain. She could hug a little too tightly sometimes. Forgetting her strength, but she expressed a joyful giggle at his words.
"Apologises… I didn't mean to radiate on you"
Slowly Kory retreated, although she didn't entirely break away from the close in space. Looking to him under her darkened shades and smiled as she apologised. She knew he was being light heart about it, but of course she'd never ever actually hurt him. Not on purpose. Before she lightly jested in response to him calling her on her hot skin. Perhaps she grew a few higher temperatures. She was joyful after all, now it was the amusement mile that was topping this off. Offering him a sweet look, before rolling her eyes at Roy. She stepped back enough to not hog Jason all to herself, but she was certainly thinking of every way they could catch up and just at that, she was in a swirl mess at deciding… Yep, she was just thrilled he was here for now. She playfully watched the banter between the boys. Surprisingly they were closer than she had even really realised…. Suppose Dick would be happy as well? Then again they wait for that for later…. At Jason's gesture, shifting over towards the bench. Kory all, but took Jason's hand… Taking a seat possibly contaminated by Joker at one stage, but surely it had been cleaned since. Soon, Kory realised this was happening… Hanging out at the amusement park with Jason… Roy… This was certainly turning out far better than she even imagined and this comes from a girl that doesn't plan… Even before Kory could suggest she go scramble up a picnic assortment, Jason had already been assertive. She almost half thinking there was a catch, but the cotton candy soon took her attention. Taking the big ball of cotton. Her eyes lit up.
"I do… Gratitudes, Jason…. And, I'll be taking that…!"
"But Kory?"
"No excuses, remember… Here you can have my drink!"
Kory's eyes needn't even have to land on the cup of beer in front of Roy. She could smell the adult fizz drink from where she sat. Reaching over and grabbed the cup. Rather than waste it in the trash, Kory offered it to a table close by. They seemed rather appreciative. Whether it was before of the beer or her giving them the beer. Either way. Win win, she figured, before returning to seat… She didn't even think twice about taking Jason, even if he was underage… She couldn't say she really recalled how old he was. He always seemed rather mature to her. So he lived a little on the edge… She kinda lived a little differently than your average human. Taking a lump of cotton and popped it in her mouth. With little sweet sounds of joy, it disappeared.
"Well… I… Its kind of a long story… I came back to Earth shortly after the destruction of Tamaran… I came back to join the Titans and lent Nightwing help in Gotham… Well, we rekindled and I helped him move to Bludhaven… Titan sort of.. Sadly, disbanded… Though I am helping to mentor the new Titans, whilst helping the newly reformed Outsiders, in Gotham… So, huh… For work, mostly… We live in Bludhaven, though… Are you staying in Gotham for long, Jason? You can always come and visit us!"
With the brightly coloured cheeks, Kory was more than happy to spill all her beans for Jason, but she also knew she could get a little carried away. So she in her own way explained why she was here and a little how as well. Of course there was probably plenty of time for questions and to get more detailed. Nothing really was more clear than she had been completely out of this galaxy. Finding herself almost settled on Tamaran, for the briefest moments, not completely by her choice, more by the duties of a princess and a betrothal… Then the unthinkable happened… Tamaran exploded. It wasn't completely hard for her to talk about it, though she easily brought back to the sharp little memories. Given she was forced to all, but witness it. Because her sister was to stubborn to listen and let Kory help… There really was only one place to go from there and that was Earth. Find her friends and find Dick… He just happened to be in Gotham at the time. So one thing led to another… Somehow eventually, she ended up living with him in Bludhaven. Well separate apartments, but that he hardly ever slept at his place. Even more so once Roy moved in!

It really was almost too good to be true, but look at that. He really was alive. It certainly was one thing to hear someone sprang from death, hell.. Roy looked after tilting his head, past have been. Jason was somewhat of a rebel Robin, but not even close to the little trail he possibly craving himself this time… Roy almost missed the short shorts, though he had to cringe if this dude actually used Dick's hand me downs. Almost felt a little shiver… No, no. Roy was still pretty cool too see Jason. Besides Kory seemed more than chummy to see him and she's stronger than she looks. So no way Jason would pull anything dramatic… Roy grinned a little aimlessly at the budding affections between the two.
"I don't know, I say he looks good red all over…!"
Jokingly Roy teased and responded to Kory's suggestive, yet strange words. Roy's eyes flashing over the almost red coloured Jason. Perhaps Roy was noting the new the hood. Previous colours. Whether it be suit or Jason's original hair. Or simply how often Jason used to blush out of embarrassment, joke of course. As Roy was cool Jason met him half way for the hand shake and manly gestures. Roy laughed at his words. Cool and casual. Hey.
"Well, what were you expecting? Its not like you came back from the dead or anything…. Forgive me if I like to keep my brains to myself…. For real though, it is great to see you, man!"
Came Roy's hopefully not to out there remarks, he could kind of have away with his words. A way in which could get hims punch, or in some cases people ignoring him. Put it down to ADHD or simply he was Roy. Of course Roy was just messing lightly. Harmless. Though, really what the fuck was the right thing to say or do when some came back from the dead. Least of all he hardly felt to be suspicious, despite Jason maybe a little rough around the edges, but this was Roy. He's been in more gutters than most in their lifetime, falling from grace wasn't new to him and not everyone can walk such a straight line… Though hey boys will be boys. Roy could resist throwing in a little Zombie reference, which actually would be kind of cool. Before Roy was more cut to the heart, but he certainly be down to hearing the details if Jason wanted. Roy least hoped if he went through that, he was brought back in rather cool fashion. Literally clawing your way out of the dirt. Thats probably when he's seen to many horror movies. Oh, but still, so awesome. Roy grinned honestly before he motioned a little as Jason patted him on the back. Roy returned the favour and offered a somewhat manly hug. Though possibly meant more than it was…. Oh wow, they were really doing this… Roy half raised his brow, just out of the unexpected and partial awkwardness of it all… As if this was leading to all three jumping on a roller coaster, ok that almost made sense. Roy following to the seating area. A little off the path, though still very much in the amusement parks… He smiled a little aimlessly as Jason went and actually bought food… And drinks… He was being very generous, maybe he was still some what the Todd he knew. Taking his pretzel… Ah, yeah… Roy shaded a little at the beer pushed in front of him and he was almost more tempted given Jason was in town. Alive. Celebrate, but no way with Kory beside him… Really, he was more on the sober wagon by choice now.
"Yeah… I kinda had to cut back…! Well, fake ID is a step up from stealing tyres… You sure, princess? We can share…! Cheers!"
Shifting his eyes a little Jason, before kinda giving the short version, of course he had no problem telling him everything…. Least everything that he remembered… There were still some key little memories, even Roy wishes he knew how in the world that happened, but too late now. He had almost little regrets. Baring a light smile to Jason, before jabbing the fake ID move. That was so 80s, maybe even an older move. Either way, Roy had certainly… Clearly given he was 21 with a drinking problem, somewhere along the way, he had to have broken another law… So he really wasn't going to slap Jason on the wrist for something, he clearly did, but least from the sounds Jason was still doing his tricks… Although he had to give the kid props for steeling batman's tyres, but Roy wouldn't have stopped there… Roy's eyes shifted to Kory offering her drink. He narrowed his eyes a little, he really didn't want to just take her drink, unless of course she insisted. Carefully taking the cup, but he really didn't mind sharing it.. Bringing the cup up a little to tap and cheers with Jason. Just to make this seem more official.
"Uh… Basically crap happened, I needed a place to crash and Kory offered… Yeah… I'm sure Dick will love that!"
Rattling off in the long story of how low Roy had actually had gotten, probably ruin the whole carnival happening. Nor the death of Donna… Yeah, one thing after one thing after another thing… It was perhaps not so much needing a place to crash… Roy had needed a place where he could breathe again. Get his life sorted out and actually feel like he could try and live again. He might as well have been almost as dead… Least he had hoped he would have died, at the time. Going out looking for fights he might just lose… Smiled reassuring a little charming nod to Kory, yeah as if it may even sound a little unbelievable he was living with Kory. Talk about brilliance and comfort… And of course a little awkwardness from time to time. As Roy nodded in regarding Jason visiting them at, Home… He couldn't imagine where the relationship was between Dick and Jason now… Bringing Roy home may have been one thing, but Jason? That might almost be priceless, but may also be too brutal in ways!

Jason lifted up his cup and knocked it into the soda cup. He took a sip of the drink.
"You can always come and visit us!"
"Yeah… I'm sure Dick will love that!"
Jason laughed a little and took another sip of his drink. He looked up and awkwardly replied to Kori's bright and cheerful suggestion.
"I'm not sure Dick would take too kindly to seeing me... Considering how I... what I do now." Jason said awkwardly. He didn't want to pervert the sweet image of Jason Kori had. He knew that Roy knew he killed now, but he didn't know how much Kori knew.
"Speaking of that, how is Dick?" Jason asked, honestly wondering how his older brother figure was doing. He took a bite of his pretzel and looked at the people around him. Honestly the past few weeks he had been pretty sad, but seeing them had made his day 100 times better. Realizing that they probably had a million questions for him, Jason spoke up.
"You guys probably have a lot of questions for me. Go ahead, ask."

With little to no cup now in Kory's otherwise golden hand. She was a little at a loss with putting her own little cheer in there, but with no doubt. She lightly tapped with her stick filled with cotton candy, with little mess. Before taking another lump of the cotton and letting it disappear in her mouth. Mmmm, the sweetness. There really did seem to be many many reasons to smile today. Lengthy time in bed. Sunbathing, which ok she could almost never get enough off, amusement park and the best part Jason was back. Least back in Gotham. Last time she saw him was on the 'Island'… He was certainly looking in better shape, more or less in one piece. Kory's smile faded a little more in a slight frown at Roy's sarcastic words in regards to Dick… Then looked to Jason as he spoke awkwardly...
"What do you do now? Hurt people? I'm not that naive Jason, you know that. I sense the rage in your heart… I doubt that he wouldn't want to see you at all…"
Curiously Kory asked, hurt people was putting it differently perhaps. Kory wasn't in on all the details, she really hadn't paid that close attention, but she wasn't completely out of the loop. Kory was aware of the little trail he had laid, but she didn't judge like everybody else did. She wasn't like everybody else. She was once trained to kill and has killed. It was and is still somewhat an instinct she has. Of course being the laws and with Dick's help, she holds back. Doesn't kill, but of course the instinct can pull on her sometimes. Not so much out of a desire to just kill people. No. She was trained to fight the last fight every fight, to save a life. To show no mercy to the enemy, she still strongly disliked showing such mercy, but she understood and respected the law. If she did not, then she couldn't live here free. But, there was certainly more too it with Jason… Even Kory could feel with the sounding of his words, was it really just something that he does? Or is it who he is? Kory kinda felt she knew the answer. He was going by the build up. The rage. Rather than letting things go… Moving on, if only he could see he was only fuelling the fire the more he sat on it. Somethings you just had to figure it out yourself, but Kory didn't just walk out on friends. He had never done anything to her or against. Why should she? She understood both sides for Dick and Jason. She simply wasn't even remotely the cause to be standing in the middle and she hoped they both cared about her enough to not drag her into it. Though, one day hopefully. They will both see what she did.
"He's been wonderful. He should be at work, he's a cop now… We lost Wonder Girl a few months back… So he as most of us were… Heartbroken… Just like when we lost you… Maybe not at… Home, but talking to him at some point… It couldn't hurt…"
Positively Kory responded, Dick more often than not even in his bad behaviours often deemed wonderful in Kory's heart. Apart from when Dick distance himself greatly, but the one thing that attracted her the most about him was Dick Grayson. Whilst she could pipe up more positively now than the last few months. From when Scarecrow kidnapped her, when Donna Troy died… When Kory lost the baby… There was certainly a swirling mess for them, but things were a lot better now. She had to wonder if Jason remembered Donna aka Wonder Girl. She did recall he helped the titans way way back once when he was Robin. She was not present, but she sure heard about how wonderful he had been. So there was an assumption he may haven't of heard. Lowering her eyes a slight in the sadness, with a faint little tweak in her eyes as she looked back to Jason… Including his death in it, even though that even more months back if not years now, but it had still been heart stricken. Upon her return to Gotham, Jason had already been kidnapped and shortly after the unthinkable happened… It was certainly quite a shock she hadn't expected on her return, but she was there… She saw how it broke Dick down first hand… She also was there how he found out and not by Bruce. Though she wouldn't dive into any of that, though as extended, she encouraged he speak with Dick. Perhaps it wouldn't be all rainbows and kisses, but hopefully they can get something out. If there really was a hate being built in between, then why did Kory still feel the love…. X'hal, they were so a like, perhaps it was only natural they conflicted with each other.
"What more do I need to know….? I've seen you down to your grebnacks… Can I ask why you didn't call me? Where you are staying?"
Kory played sweetly and a little playfully… Recalling she had possibly seen him already after he came back from beyond the grave, while she was on a short vacation on 'her' island… Where he just happened to be crashing into the ocean… She literally saved his ass…. As she carefully raised a brow. There really was little she hadn't seen… Though she highly understood why he went MIA on her after that… Thus wondering why he hadn't called her… Suppose, she probably forgot to give him her number… She does have a habit of smashing phones. Heroes and phones don't often mix… Though she was curious to know where he was staying, if there was a place and if he was staying long term, not just passing through.

There was certainly a little spillage, but it seemed more than fitting. With the half beater smile Roy gave in response, least taking the finer, happier part of this whole situation. More than glad to see Jason, but it was certainly more or less still a little awkward… Not that Roy was ever… Never ever tongue tied. If anything he usually needed a trap for his mouth. Chugging down the swig of his soda drink. It certainly didn't have the kick like the beer did, but it least had caffeine. Gave him somewhat of a buzz, awesome. Listening briefly as Kory and Jason spoke, from the heart. How sweet… Given the chance, with where they were sitting, rather wide and open. Fresh air. He dug into his pocket and pulled out a cigarette. Some habits he didn't so much kick. Balancing it between his lips, before pulling out his lighter and lit his baby up. Hmmm, much better. As Roy took puff and let out the smoke. He amusingly coughed a little in reaction to Kory's words.
"Yeah… I'm with Jason on this one…"
Roy responded simply, holding his smoke a little off with his hand. Hurting people was probably putting it lightly, especially in Dick's mind… Even in Roy's mind, it was certainly a stretch further than even Roy would do. Kill someone? No, no, no. Kory, maybe. She saw things differently, so it was different to her and well, lets face it she saw the better in people… Roy hardly believed himself Jason was all bad, honestly he really couldn't know. He hadn't seen him in a few years… Heard here and there. The whispers around the cities. Roy also didn't know what it was to actually die… Go through hell. Suppose one would expect something to be a little off. Villain? That was a leap for now… Took another lengthy engulf of his smoke, letting roll around in his chest. Relief stress… The awkwardness. He smirked briefly as Kory filled Jason in on what Dick was doing… Perhaps this might be a bad time to call him to come join them. He laughed silently to himself, ok Roy kinda would be amused by the drama, up until some screwed up way he ends up being the one getting punched.
"Sure, when he's not been a prick, he's wonderful...It might hurt his face…! With Dick a cop, you might as well go straight to jail!"
Piped in Roy with a teasing and knowing grin.. Jesting in lightly, he imagined knowing Dick he wouldn't be too pleased. Perhaps he'd be for a chat, but yeah. It almost wrote itself, even more sure at the highlighting change of Dick not only being Nightwing. A hero. He was also a cop. A detective. In other words he was a crime fighter and well, clear Jason with his trail of crimes. Heck, even the fake ID, there was really only one way from there. Roy remained silent at the others mentioned. Particularly Wonder Girl, but Roy simply nodded. With the flash of his eyes. Felt that little sting. There would always be loss in the line of work they do and fucked up as that is. As his fingers aimlessly picked at the wood in the table, his hand shook a little, before took another drag from his smoke… Feeling himself calm back down again.
"Hmmm… When exactly did you get back and how did you age, man? I mean last time I saw you, you were still fitting them short shorts…"
There as Roy sat about it as Jason spoke about them having questions. Roy did indeed have questions and yet didn't… Really what could he ask and where to start… So Roy rather went with what was very much in his face… He wasn't Jason and different in a lot of ways… He was older… Curiously as Roy asked when and the how. Perhaps thats more trivial… Just kinda like assuming at one point Jason's body was potentially a corpse and yet clearly he was in tact… Least from what Roy could see, Roy rather not check. Though Jason certainly out grew his little shorts. Finally. Shame he had to die for it to happen though. Oh, Roy gave Dick just as much of a hard time over it. Showing off your legs and shaved was certainly bravery. As Roy joked harmlessly. Taking a chug of his drink and a puff of his cigarette. Whilst sitting with the tamaranean princess and the once fallen Jaybird. In an Amusement park of all places. Looking about, and eyeing there was certainly some clowns they could shoot!

"What do you do now? Hurt people? I'm not that naive Jason, you know that. I sense the rage in your heart… I doubt that he wouldn't want to see you at all…" Jason picked at the table, chewing the back of his lip. The current situation was a bit awkward. Sure, Jason and Dick were close, but he doubted Dick would want to see him at all. Jason was going to give it a little while, and let Dick calm down before Jason made any advances. Jason saw as Kori's smile turned into a slight frown.
"Look, I'm sorry Kori, but I'm not sure if Dick is quite ready to see me yet." Jason said quietly and apologetically. He looked up at Kori with a slight frown on his face.
"Yeah… I'm with Jason on this one…" Jason nodded at Roy agreeingly. Jason frowned a little bit at the older boy's cigarette. He quickly looked away so Roy wouldn't notice his frown. Sure, Jason had a drink once and a while, but he didn't smoke. He remembered the one time he tried a cigarette. It was the day before he had tried to steal the tires off the Batmobile. He remembered having the worse coughing fit and having a sore throat for the next few days.
"He's been wonderful. He should be at work, he's a cop now…" Jason laughed slightly. Dick never did quite, did he. A cop by day and a vigilante by night. No wonder Bruce loves him so much. "We lost Wonder Girl a few months back… So he as most of us were… Heartbroken… Just like when we lost you… Maybe not at… Home, but talking to him at some point… It couldn't hurt…" Jason quickly stopped laughing and a large frown covered his face. He hadn't worked with the Teen Titans very many times when he was Robin, but it still hurt hearing that Wonder Girl died. He again looked down and picked at the table awkwardly and picked at it. He let out a deep sigh at Kori's suggestion to talk to Dick. Kori was very persistent and stubborn, a trait Jason usually admired, but this time was the exception.
"You... You lost Wonder Girl? How... How did it happen?" Jason didn't know if he should've asked, but he needed to know what happened. Jason laughed a little bit when Roy added to the conversation about Dick. He would have laughed harder if he hadn't had just learned that Wonder Girl had died.
"Sure, when he's not been a prick, he's wonderful...It might hurt his face…! With Dick a cop, you might as well go straight to jail!" Roy was right. Being a wildcard vigilante like Jason was, having a cop/vigilante was not the best thing in the world. Jason began thinking about what it would be like if he went and talked to Dick. It would probably be a bit like when the two first met. With Dick not liking Jason at all. However, when Dick and Jason first met it wasn't under the best circumstances. Dick had just been fired/quit and Bruce hired Jason in retaliation.
"What more do I need to know….? I've seen you down to your grebnacks… Can I ask why you didn't call me? Where you are staying?" He felt a little bit of guilt as Kori asked the questions. Maybe he should have called her, but he would've never known what to say.
"I don't know why I didn't call you, Kori. I guess, I never knew what I would say if you answered. As for where I'm staying, I have a little bunker below Gotham, nothing too fancy, but it works."
"Hmmm… When exactly did you get back and how did you age, man? I mean last time I saw you, you were still fitting them short shorts…" How Jason got back was a touchy topic, but he was happy to share it.
"Well, it's kind of a long story. I came back about three years ago, a few months after my death. For awhile I didn't know how or why I WAS back. I just remember waking up underground in a coffin, and I clawed my way out of my coffin. I wandered around Gotham for awhile, before I fainted. I was taken by the League of Assassins. They trained me, and put me in a Lazarus Pit, where I regained all of my memories. For the other half of that year, I trained with the All Caste, who explained to me that I was brought back by Superboy literally punching a whole in time, and setting certain events in time back. I spent the next two years traveling around, training, making a name for myself, and I even met Kori on the way. As for how I aged, I told you I came back a few months after I died. I was 16 then, so three years later, now I'm 19. I aged normally for the most part. The Lazarus Pit automatically aged me the few months I was dead. and about this whole, 'Outsiders' group," A mischievous smile spread across his face. "Is there open auditions?"

There was definitely a sense of awkwardness. Nervous behaviour coming from Jason's side of the bench. Enough Kory could note. Feel. See. Perhaps there was at least a slight bit of hope to take this as Jason had somewhat thought about it. He was after all human, perhaps it just wasn't as clear to him… Kory half smiled sweetly in the response, if she didn't know any better, she imagine Jason was in a sense saying, he needed space… Now who did that remind her of? Perhaps it was only fitting they butted heads, Kory could certainly think of knocking them both over the heads, but that be over reaching… But, hey. There was little sound of never in Jason's voice… Wasn't that something…!
"Maybe, Not…! In time!"
Came simply at the subtle drifting of Kory's voice, as her glass covered green eyes wandered down a little. Away a little. Perhaps Dick wouldn't jump at this, she's like to think she knew, after all she practically lived him, knew him better than he knew himself at times, but she couldn't really say conversation about Jason had come up. In a long long time, but she knew him long enough to know he would regret it, if he never saw Jason, perhaps it was more about opening wounds. Digging up the past, that she kinda understood, she after all was the kind to live in the moment. And Jason like a daisy out of the forbidden dirt, popped out again. He was here. In the flesh, now. Flesh, bones, well at least she could say she confirmed that, giggling to herself. Her eyes, her voice picked up, at least in the positiveness that there would be a time. Within hate, there was still love. If you didn't care about someone, why bother with hate? Smiled a little more fully. Perhaps she was sounding a little more insistent, Jason could be assured she was no way near actually pushing him, least not yet… Her golden fingers then coiled around more cotton candy. Grabbing a big chunk, some melted on her nose unknowingly, as her tongue seeped up the sugar in her mouth.
Quickly as always it disappeared without a trace. Yet, left a little warming sensation that lingered within her heart. A beaming smile broke as Jason laughed, supposedly happy in response in details regarding Dick. A cop. Oh yeah, it was as much of a surprise to Kory, when he decided, but she was undoubtedly supportive. Even more so after the trying on of uniforms, not that she was overly material, she clearly could take him without it entirely, but hey it certainly didn't hurt. Only in the good way of hurting, she smirked aimlessly, recalling the fun of helping Dick on his 'exams' Least she imagined that what they were. He was nervous like a pine cone tree, but wasn't long he got the ok, along with a questionable gun in his pocket… Hmmm. Of Kory was always happy to see him, who needed convincing. As imagined her rather adorable dork of a boyfriend, she teasingly thought…. She was almost day dreaming, before she reached a golden hand into her blue purse. Pulled out her phone mildly decorated of course and flicked through… Before landing of a picture of Dick in his uniform along with his hat, just incase Jason needed proof and passed a little over the table.
"That's Dick in his uniform! Isn't his hat, adorable? I mean fierce?"
Kory expressed with an innocent, whilst a subtle playful glimpse to her cheeks. Of course before recalled Dick expressing it wasn't suppose to be so cute, half correcting herself with a play of her brows. Tough looking, still got her between the knees… So to speak. Though undoubtedly Dick was a busy man. Always was and still is, only far more busy. There was certainly less private time, but they managed to fit it in. Not that this was really a time or a moment to be spinning her day in the life. Clearly, it was rather filled in with details. Her own smiled deflated a little as did Jason's laugh. It was rather endearing to hear him laugh again, it really made it even more impossible to paint him as someone rebel monster that many seemed to paint him with…. Somehow he still seemed human and very much with his soul intact. Filled with emotions… To which she sort of rolled and bit her lip as Jason asked in regards to the loss of Donna… How?
"Yes… On a mission… I wasn't there."
With the dropping of the tone in her voice, Kory confirmed it to be true again… As much as it was still something to swallow now to be true, but it had been more than weeks now… Months, maybe even a year. They would always miss her. She was like a sister to Kory, to many… Though her eyes drifted in more telling directions to Roy, who would more like respond to how in a little more detail… As Kory mentioned she hadn't been there, though of course she knew how. There had been a lot of guilt between the group. From Roy… From Dick the most, but that was hardly surprisingly, it was Donna. Kory flinched a little, it was more bearable now, but the loss could still sting. As Kory's bottom lip slightly quivered and she sighed a little. It almost seemed a lifetime ago they had been to a carnival with Donna. Her eyes half wandered and hovered of the strength test game, that was always fun… Hmmm, she was certainly going to need to hit that before leaving today. She if she could add to her record breaking victory, she'd restrain from breaking it. Pulling slowly again at her ball of cotton. Kory amusingly listened to Jason's response to not calling her. That was hardly an excuse she thought playfully… What did he have to be nervous about? It was probably gonna take a hell of a lot to truly have her shun him out, but hey. She couldn't help, but just think he was adorable when he blushed. He was tough, but still a little squishy.
"Hmmm, don't know what to say… You could always start with 'hello'! Next time? A bunker…? Do you know about this?"
Not that she was fully teasing him, as Kory lifted her sunglasses and rested them momentarily upon her bushy set of hair. Speechless, well he wasn't always entirely a man of words. Certainly not like the motor mouth that Roy had, but in her sarcastic playful way. She would be content with a simple hello, she could do the serious heart to heart conversations, and then she could also just do the simple let your hair down routine, well less routine. She tended to put her whole foot in along with her body when she did something. Committed. To say the least. As she breached the table with her hand and motioned to put a puff of cotton in his mouth. Before she winked and smiled… Her eyes then flashed at the realisation to Jason mentioning where he's staying… A bunker? Like outsiders? She was not sure whether or not she should be thrilled he was maybe a neighbour? Or to be a little concerned he was living in a bunker? Those suppose if it was flashy? Looking over, eyeing him and hope he was eat well… Sleeping well. Though she couldn't help as she turned to Roy, as she asked. After all he was generally spying on everyone in Gotham. The all seeing archer below sea level. Generally in red, but today was an off day, despite maybe the give signs of his cheeks. Before her attention was drawn back more pointedly at Jason, diving into story telling mode. Looking him over, he did indeed grow and grow up. Less a boy, more of a man. Kory smiled simply, before she frowned at the less nicer bits of his story, like being tossed in a pit. Though from the sounds a rebirthing, Pit? Though, suppose there was three cheers for Superboy, sort of… Though she had to shake her head at kryptonians and time travel. In this case, well more cheers… Her smile came back, but more of a wide grin as Jason mentioned her in the story… Yeah, maybe she hadn't mentioned that before. As she could almost feel Roy's eyes on her.
"If these assassins trained you, are you there for an assassin, Jason? We had an intimate run in on my island… Did I forget to mention that? How do you know about Outsiders? Yes…. I mean…. I'm gonna go get a caramelised apple… Would you two care for one or anything else?"
Assassins was probably a little different, but Kory was herself trained to be a warrior. In ways trained to kill, well to fight the last fight every fight. So there was some familiarity. Of course assassins seemed more a human thing, but she couldn't help be curious if this is what Jason was? Sensually anyways… Why? Suppose they were just kind enough to save him… Surely there be questions. Curiosity as Kory responded to the run in with Jason, where she pretty much saved his life, again. Of course she wouldn't let the bubbles win and take him. Nursing him back to health, redressing him in new clothes, hang out a little in her spaceship. Shared the sun on the beach, until ultimately… Eventually kissed him off, in a far less intimate way than one would imagine. As Kory smiled innocently, before catching Jason mentioning Outsiders. Even as she asked it, she really couldn't be that surprised, but it least held a little more of a burning candle as to how much Jason paid attention to those who had in ways made him feel left behind. If anything he seemed very much keyed in… She responded quickly. Maybe a little too quickly at Jason's question, the suggestion he was interested? That was certainly not what Kory had remotely imagined this day was going to go. That this meeting was going, but she was all for Jason being on the team, but of course she was only a part time member. As shifted her eyes to Roy, the leader of the group. Just like everyone else, she was sure Roy wouldn't just let Jason slide in. With already the occasion fights and heat between Dick and Roy, how would that fair with throwing Jason in the mix… Kory thought for more hopeful things, but geez even she would be a little nervous. She'd have a lot of ears to tug. Before she realised her ball of cotton was gone. She motioned to her feed and announced she was going off to get apples. Half because she wanted one, but half for celebration if Jason was indeed gonna be part of the group. Officially. Grinning as she offered, fixing her sunglasses back on.

It could be a little ironic and yet made perfect sense. Almost. From where Roy sat. A tamaranean, with desire to make peace. There could almost be something poetic about it, but lets face it, it was really hardly ever like the movies… Neither as simple, it least seemed for humans, but suppose in time. Eventually Dick would have to over boil right? Simmer off… Definitely gonna take some time, Roy humbly thought, eventually. Took mild sips from his drink in hand, held his cigarette… No he wasn't entirely the go to for kids, but hey he played with weapons. That was kinda like being a walking 'don't try this at homes, kids approach'! Sure he could be inspirational, at times. Pulled at his pretzel. Chewing it slowly as he intently looked between the two. With a subtle eyebrow raised, hmmm. Before his brown eyes were sidetracked by the reaction of Dick as a cop and even more pointedly, as Kory whipped out her phone. Photo proof. Adorable? Fierce? Both maybe pushing it, as he muffled an amusing sound.
"Fierce? He lost his taser gun on the first day…!"
Responded Roy promptly looking to Kory and with just the right level of sarcasm, truth of course. Before with a subtle amusing shake towards Jason. With a silent laugh and took a puff from his cigarette. Brushing the ash ends off the table. Some people were just better with weapons. Holding his cigarette loosely in his hand and ran his other through his dark short hair, light roughing it. Rubbed at his subtle scruff of facial hairs. Less of the bum look these days. Run down feeling for various other reasons. The reasons he preferred. Doing what he did. The outsiders it could still be a thrill. Hard, but a thrill…. Then as the rather piped up mood. Reunion was dropped a little at the mentioning of Wonder Girl. Donna promptly flashed in his mind. He had known her so well, but there was perhaps a brush of a thought something about her would be forgotten. Impossible it seemed, but such a frightening thought. He took a long puff from his cigarette again, feeling the long hold in his throat. Letting out the long drawing breath. As his eyes darted momentarily at Jason… 'You' lost wonder girl? He might as well had, he still felt some level of guilt… "How did it happen?" Ran through his mind, over and over. With the flashing images, one would hope would fade, but he felt he had to feel the pain. His eyes trembled with a tinge of red, signs of pain, emotions laid at the prink… He paused, his eyes jolted shortly towards Kory as she spoke, but didn't say too much… She hadn't been there and perhaps in ways that was a good thing. She didn't have the last memories. The last images as he did, holding Donna limb. Lifeless. Roy had never felt so hopeless.
"It was more like war… We were faced with kryptonian androids. Wonder Girl had one singled… Pinned to destroy, but she was struck by its heat vision… It didn't take long… Not long at all… she was gone… She was… Dead!"
Slowly. Roy responded to the 'how'… Without drowning in detail. Which didn't need. No one really did, as subtle flashes flipped through his mind, almost easy to pick up as his eyes moved subtly. Looking at Jason in glances, but his eyes were almost looking at something completely different… Half here… Half there. Why? As Roy frowned, was harder to answer… Just as how foolish he had been to not have done something to stop it. There was though an almost an elevation in his voice, least remembering her in almost her glory, before hand… She just… It just got the best of her in the end… As his pauses in creased a little, his voice dropped until he undoubtedly spoke the ending… The unspeakable ending, well until now. Donna Troy was dead… Not that Roy didn't flash his eyes over Jason, wondering was there even a single… Beating chance, but deep down he knew…. Who knew. Stranger things had happened, maybe one day he'll see her again, but even in death. Seemed a little hopeless. Even if he believed in such things. His hand shook mindfully, as his eyes stared a little endlessly at a spot on the table… Until he moved. Pressing the cigarette to his lips and almost encouraging it to burn his lips. Drew on his smoke, until it was pointless. Putting the cigarette out. Shot a glance to Kory as she then questioned him again. He had almost tuned out at the point. Picked up, just enough to respond. Bunker? Quick glance to Jason. There was a lot underneath Gotham, it was very unlikely, besides Roy would have known. As he mouthed no and shook his head. Listening then as Jason dived into the answers… Explanation for his how… Three years ago? That definitely explained things… Raised a brow… Envisioning Jason clawing out of his coffin. How sad and yet, awesome in the zombie kind of way.
"So you are the dead now living? That is fucking awesome, I mean terrible you died and I'm sure it was hell… Don't tell me you were Ra's right hand man? Making a name for yourself, is putting it lightly! I'd say you're almost infamous, Jaybird… Ah, Yeah! Island? Details, man… Details… More importantly… Does Dick know about this?"
Questioned, yet Roy more stated. Given it was clearly true, the living dead almost. He couldn't quite help himself, though he was more boasting and complimenting, than anything. As he more than sincerely knew it would have been a nightmare in ways. Crazy, crazy shit, but least he came out of it… Wasn't that the main kicker and it epic fashion. As he half smiled. Yep… Too many zombie movies… Though Roy had to question at the hearing of the League of Assassins, Ra's? He curiously questioned, with a slight frown… It been a good time since Roy had dealt with some of the more key members, but memorable in the most awesome and horrible ways. Though from the looks, Jason was on his own? Roy just hoped this wasn't some sick dog on the lease kinda deal, that was hardly the Todd, Roy remembered. He nodded in realisation. The connection with Superboy. Ah! Taking a sip of his drink. It definitely made a little more sense now. Kryptonians, of course. Really there had to be something they couldn't do? Well, suppose not dying easy is one thing. So melodramatic…! Though Roy was perhaps a little still suspicious. Jason most likely would expect no less, if he was in such a position, but Roy was still giving him the benefit of the doubt. Lightly humoured in response to Jason making his trail, so to speak. In and out of Gotham. Roy mindfully smirked, it was certainly was something… Though Roy was quickly diverted to the mentioning of running into Kory and apparently running into her on an island? Because thats not random… Well maybe not for Kory, but Jason… Intimate… Roy could almost fly at the thought, but ultimately could mean something differently. Yeah, deep down. Seriously he almost doubted, but still he raised that brow playfully… Keen to know the details… If there were any… Before he rattled off to humour himself, he paused at the mentioning of the Outsiders… Ok, this was hardly where Roy was expecting this to go… Uh? As Roy took the moment to process that. Flashed a little down played look to Kory as she overstated yes, in regards to auditions… Roy was less surprised Jason knew of the Outsiders, not after hearing he had been, around.
"Nah, I'm good, thanks Kory…! Sure, if you want to take a routine trial. A test. Strictly procedure, no guarantees… Outsiders isn't like Titans or JLA. Personal crap must be left at the door, do you understand…? So before anything, we can't have whatever is between you and Dick, clashing… I can't say he'll initially be impressed… You might need to consider Kory's suggestion."
Politely Roy refused with a subtle motion of his hand to Kory. He hardly had the same sweet tooth. Least not now. Half decent pretzel was stable enough, almost gone, but he was good… Shortly after Kory left. Roy turned back to Jason, responding to him wanting to join. Least that was clear to hear, even if he hadn't said it so clear to those words, hopefully Jason wasn't too disappointed that Roy didn't accept him right away. There was some kine of trial, not so fancy… Different for each person of course. As Roy would have to set it to what he believed was fair and firm for Jason… Roy had only a little information on how much Jason had changed and really had grown as Red Hood… To point he could be extremely helpful, he'd know this city better than most, but of course Roy wasn't stupid. He also knew it was extremely risky… Even if he wasn't out to create your typical hero team… Even though he had stretched the truth to Dick, to get him to join. !t was as Roy mentioned to Jason, very much putting personal issues at the door. Simply do what they need to do… With least some level of understanding between the members… To which Roy was sure Jason already knew where he was leading as he more pointedly mentioned Dick. Roy certainly clashed with Dick himself more recently, but with Jason. It might be entirely different thing. Dick may even despise the idea if by chance Jason did and passed such trials…. It would be perhaps a step further to trial Jason before letting Dick know before hand, but this was Roy's team, as Dick liked to make clear depending on the situation he rather not try to control. Even though he'd hardly care, but them not getting along could ignite the team from within… He couldn't care less if they made up and became friends. So long as they could somehow. In someway, co-exist!

"Maybe, Not…! In time!"
Jason laughed a little bit. Kori never did quit, did she. He laughed a little bit at Kori's brightening at the mention of Dick being a police officer. It was funny how commited she was to Dick.
"That's Dick in his uniform! Isn't his hat, adorable? I mean fierce?"
Jason smiled as he saw Dick. He still found it a bit ridiculous. A vigilante by night, a cop by day. For some reason though, Jason didn't think Bruce would approve of Dick being a cop. But, Bruce had turned out to be very different than he thought. He frowned a little bit.
"Fierce? He lost his taser gun on the first day…!" Jason laughed. That sounded like Dick. The older boy was more graceful for the most part, but he definitely had his clutsy moments.
"Yes… On a mission… I wasn't there." Kori shot Roy a look, as if telling him to explain. He couldn't tell if Kori was asking Roy to explain because Roy knew more, of if she did it because she was to sad to tell it herself
"It was more like war… We were faced with kryptonian androids. Wonder Girl had one singled… Pinned to destroy, but she was struck by its heat vision… It didn't take long… Not long at all… she was gone… She was… Dead!"
Jason looked down at the table. His eyes got a little red. He choked back tears. Sure, he was tough, but he DOES have human emotions. It broke his heart a little bit hearing how sad Kori and Roy were. Besides, his heart broke a little at the news of Donna. He hadn't worked with her alot, but he was still friends with her. He got a little angry. He knew what it was like to die. He got even angrier when he realized the irony of the situation. The thing that brought him back to life and the thing that killed Wonder Girl came from the same planet.
"Hmmm, don't know what to say… You could always start with 'hello'! Next time? A bunker…? Do you know about this?" Jason felt a little guilty. He should have called Kori, but he really wasn't sure of their relationship after he left. A mischievious smile spread across his face as Kori asked Roy if he had seen the bunker. He watched as Roy mouthed no to Kori and shook his head. Sure, Roy was good, but Jason had been trained by Batman. He was pretty sure he could hide from Roy.
"If these assassins trained you, are you there for an assassin, Jason? We had an intimate run in on my island… Did I forget to mention that? How do you know about Outsiders? Yes…. I mean…. I'm gonna go get a caramelised apple… Would you two care for one or anything else?" Jason shook his head. He definitely WASN'T an assassin. He was still a vigilante, but he just used lethal force a few times. He wasn't quite as lethal as people thought. He didn't kill random muggers on the streets. That was wrong. But, killing murderers, people that actually DESERVED it. Those people he would kill. But he sometime didn't kill even those people. His face turned a bright red when Kori mentioned the island.
"As to how I know about the Outsiders. Well, you mentioned them earlier in the conversation, and no one who functions out of Gotham exist without me knowing about them." He raised one of his eyebrows at how awkwardly Kori regarded the Outsiders question. "No thanks, Kori."
"Hahaha... Um no... Actually I'm pretty sure I'm one of Ra's' least favorite people. I don't think he quite likes how I kind of made out and had a relationship with his daughter. And he was against bringing me in in the first place." Jason laughed and blushed even more as Roy teased him about the island. "My ship crashed. I would've died if she wasn't there. She saved my life. And no, Dick doesn't know. And I'm not sure he would quite like hearing about it.
"Nah, I'm good, thanks Kory…! Sure, if you want to take a routine trial. A test. Strictly procedure, no guarantees… Outsiders isn't like Titans or JLA. Personal crap must be left at the door, do you understand…? So before anything, we can't have whatever is between you and Dick, clashing… I can't say he'll initially be impressed… You might need to consider Kory's suggestion." Jason smiled at the mock authoritive tone in Roy's voice.
"Sounds great. As for the personal stuff, I'd rather it not be any other way. And about Dick. Yes, we are going to clash when we first see eachother again. That's unavoidable, but remember. He is still my brother. We can work out our issues." He smiled at Roy. "And don't you dare tell Kori I said that."

Quit? Koriand'r was certainly a being that didn't give up. Never give up and in most cases never say never. She thrived off being positive, though of course she meant to also be kind. Last thing she wanted to be was pushy, but well she had her flaws. Who didn't, she was who and what she was. To deny that would be denying everything. There be no point. Besides there were cuties like Jason to tell you no. Stop. Halt. Hold the horses… Well, if Kory had horses. She grinned playfully, though eyed him at his various facial expressions right now. As if a little beacon. A sign he was most definitely real. Not a figment of her wonderful and crazy imagination… Hmmm? She reached momentarily to pinch him… Just to be sure… Not meaning too, but friendships can be tough. Never loss of emotions. Raising a brow as he laughed in regard to Dick… Laughing about her commitment? Did he not know her well? She hardly put half of herself into something. In most cases she was an all or nothing kind of being… Thus of course Dick had taught to 'hold back'. She could blaze more than just the eyes and the mind. She was unique in the upmost definition. As her eyes danced lightly on the picture of Dick. Playing her fingers lightly upon her chin. She was more amazing he had time to fit it all in. For someone that complained about there not being enough hours in a day, he sure knew how ti squeeze a hell of a lot in… At some point Kory had to physically pin him down, of course in the right time, she was Nala to his Simba. Taking her phone back after a few moments. Glanced at it a few more seconds, maybe minutes, before turning it off and putting it in her purse.
"Right..! Lost.. It?"
Kory lingered in her wording as she responded and glances at Roy. Raising her brow. Of course the lack of detailing easily could suggest either she or Roy took it… Or anyone took it, but either way Kory remembered a little differently… Roy just liked to brag about it a little. Grabbing another lump of candied cotton and filled her mouth. Decidedly more than Brando. Mmmm! In a matter of magical minutes it disappeared… Kory continually part took in more as Roy explained a little more in detail regarding Donna. It was a little of both as to why she didn't answer, but mostly it seemed better to come from Roy, for some reason. He had the first account. She had more the second account. Though suppose as Roy detailed it a little now, it wasn't hard to see flashing images, images Kory didn't hold all on that long… There had been tears shed. Missing Donna would never cease, but it least didn't seem to be getting harder. As sad as that maybe to say.
"You spied on us? Thats, sweet! How much have you seen? Suit yourself boys…!"
Tilted her head to the side slightly, her curly red hair tousled with her, as she asked, in a subtle playful tone. Least from what he just said, he basically spied. Which of course was less of a flag, for her, knowing it was Jason. It was Jason after all and he always had good intentions. Perhaps he was looking over them, in his own sweet way. Smiled playfully sweet, before it slowly faded and asked how much he had seen… Not that she was suggesting there was something to hide, with the subtle play of her eyes in the distance. Getting to her feet to go get herself a caramelised apple, she lingered a second, but didn't linger long, before she left the table. Left Roy and Jason to discuss business, who knows maybe even fist pump… Inched her dress down a little, before she almost skipped in her step to the little food stand with a smell of apples. Smothered in sugar and syrup… Fiddled a couple of coins out of her hand and paid the cute pimply kid, with very bright eyes… It was after all a beautiful sunny day… The sun was out. Played with the goosebumps against Kory's golden arms. Slowly with still a little skip in her step, stopped half way hearing trumpets? Music? Coming around a corner! X'hal! Parade, time… Her eyes wide and bright, she skipped back to the two at the table. Without dropping her apple on the way. Happily took a large bite out of her apple. Her cheeks clearly glowing and trying not to laugh joyfully too much she spits everything out.
"I think we came on the right day… I love parades… X'hal…. Is that me?"
Not paying much attention to what the two men had been talking to, although didn't mean to interrupt them as she delightfully openly commented. As she turned a little so the table was more faced with her back as she looked out for the parade that was coming around the corner. With various colours and apparently creatures. Teletubbies? Kory liked cute things, but these creatures were quite lost on her. Was this meant to be a poor imitation? Though it certainly didn't kill the enjoyment and soon, there seemed to be some dressed up as heroes. Maybe even villains. As if one needed to be reminded they were in Gotham… Though she was pleasantly surprised there was a Starfire. As she struck out a hand across Roy's chest as she asked. Her eyes blinked a little. Delighted, Starfire half cuddling up to Robin… Uh, classic times! Smiled cheekily and innocently enough. Taking another bite out of her apple. Which crumbled ever so lightly. Her hands aimlessly brushed the sticky syrup of her dress. Before take Roy's drink and took a little sip. Her eyes wavered lightly away from the parade… Ooh! To which Kory pulled her phone out again and took a couple of pictures… There was something to be said to be almost asking herself to pose.

The awkwardness was certainly subsiding, but lets face it… It was still a little bit there, but like always. Roy was cool as a cucumber. Even if he was like Rose, screaming inside. Ok, thats maybe pushing it. Even if at times he had felt like a walking. Talking sinking ship… He was slightly more like a life boat these days, almost… Almost nearing chiming in with a little yellow or well… Did he really need to look far for a golden submarine? Ah, ok that was a little cheesy, but come on… Chopping down another chunk of pretzel. Dry. Salty… Yep, did wonders for the throat, topped with chains of smoke. Dusting off his now salty fingers across a jean leg. Running a hand aimlessly a little through his hair again. It really wasn't something he maintain with product. It usually just was what it was. Like he rolled out of bed, but somehow the slight ruggedness wasn't entirely a bad thing. He laughed. Lightly coughed at the lingering crumbs of pretzel going down his throat, as Kory called him out… More reminding him just exactly how it went down… How Dick went down?
"Ah… Well.. To be fair, he did in a way lose it… Only, to find it literally in his back pocket. Man, did that mother f**ker go down..! Priceless!"
With an almost raise of his hands in defence. Though not quite exactly waving the white flag, as the tone of amusement was very much there in Roy's voice. The vast hints of the so called messing around. Pranking. The whole boys will be boys spill. As he had half rolled his head to Kory, with a charming. Cheeky smile. He was Harper after all. Before eyes played knowingly to Jason. As if filling him in… He really missed out on a lot. As Roy laughed. Shook his head. Smirked. His hand then took a swig at the drink before him. It was almost like sweet victory, but with these kinds of things… Especially with someone like Dick. There is some sort of revenge… It really hardly end and living literally under than same roof… With his girlfriend… Yeah, things are bound to play up.. Though it was amazing sometimes to Roy, just how Dick walked himself into things. The laughter of course was nice. Roy was certainly laughing more these days, though of course. With the bringing up of Donna. Which though happened maybe less and less. It really wasn't hard… There would always be something. Wasn't that just how it was suppose to be? As Roy breathed a deepened sigh. He needn't to go in depths of just how far Roy had actually fallen… So far he had very much wished he'd traded places or even with Jason… Certainly be a lie to say all was smooth sailing, but Roy's head was at least above water now… Maintaining decently with his heart literally been scattered on the ground… Stomped on. Pissed on… Another sigh, yeah it really wasn't hard. As his dark eyes glanced over Jason. Watching it… Feeling it. Wash over him. There would always be people you like. You dislike. Rub on and off with… But, with Donna… She was something else. Someone more. Quietly Roy watched as Jason reacted to Kory asking about his 'bunker'… Secrets… Well, it wouldn't be the first time a bat member had secrets… Though hide from Roy? Who's to say Roy was entirely looking? Though… He was even less surprised with Jason potentially playing spy… Not like Roy could bag him for it. Roy had eyes on this city himself. In various places. He was like his very own watchtower… Well, minus the tower. This wasn't Disney after all and he was no princess.
"I highly doubt that…"
Casually, yet decidedly confidently Roy responded in relation to Jason spy. Well, least so much as him spying into the Outsider's bunker…. It just wasn't possible, unless he had a electrocution fetish… His eyes steadied and lingered on Kory as she asked her question. It wasn't hard for to sense what was underlining that question…. He smiled half heartedly as Kory got up and literally skipped away… Turning back to Jason, with a little rise in his eye brows and lingering knowing look. He was almost sure Jason didn't know half the things, that Kory maybe wondering about… Apart from what reached the news!
"You've missed a lot!"
Roy added with a suggestive tone. More in relations to friends, than simply just being heroes. Though of course somehow it all ended up intwined someway. Pulling more apart his pretzel. His eyes laid flat upon Jason. It probably be only a matter of time, before Jason knew… If he really needed to know… Of course he wanted to know… Roy then took a swig of his drink, it caught a little as he listened to Jason tell in a little more detail about where he had been. What had happened… Ra's daughter? That… That was certainly something as Roy's interest certainly peaked with a belated smirk.
"WOAH! Dude, seriously? Talia? That be a sure way of getting a target on your ass… So, what was she like? Details…. Uh, ship? What are you Jack Sparrow? Ah, man thats just bad luck or well… Good luck… Yeah, he might need some time…! "
Ah, well. In other words as Roy hadn't seen that coming, though certainly up to requiring more details… Though it seem death certainly hadn't been all that bad. Die only to wake up to a woman. Yeah, thats almost how Roy pictured it. As he cheekily smiled, he certainly didn't expect when Jason was Robin, he really got much tail… So least he didn't go out without some victory… But, easy to see how that would rub Ra's the wrong way. Its kinda tapping that line of dating the principal's daughter. Wild and thrilling… Taking another comfortable swig of his drink. Doing the man talk with Jason. Which again Roy hadn't even remotely thought would have been possible up until now. Totally down with it though… Though he certainly raised curious teasing question at the mentioning of a ship. Jason on a ship… Roy just hoped it was more towards pirate than a sailor… Commenting it the bad luck Jason almost died yet another time, but well, being saved by Kory… There be worse ways, right? As he half looked in her general direction. Golden almost like a beacon. Before turning his attention back to Jason, laughed gently in relation to Dick finding out. The jealous bird and sure he had his reasons.Roy was sure it would be only a matter of time, Dick did find out… Thankfully Roy wasn't in the middle of this. He could almost enjoy. Before it bled into the Outsiders.
"I'm sure you're right, family always comes first… I'll talk it over with him, just so there is little excuse for him to bite my head off for not telling him… How you feel about swinging by tomorrow night? I can send you the details… I won't, though its Kory. She'll eventually see right through it. Don't be surprised Kory doesn't sit you two down herself…! Ah, crap!"
Respectfully and perhaps a little bit sarcastically Roy responded. He knew Dick longer, if not better than most. Having grown as sidekicks pretty much around the same time and of course jumped into the titans shortly there after. Roy was the brother Dick never had, least until the extra Robins came around. It perhaps was even a little bit different given the fact Roy wasn't part of the Bat family and Dick wasn't part of the Arrow family. So there was less pressure, n a little more objectiveness.. But they sure did clash at times. Even most recently, but even in their worst fights, they mended… Eventually. Roy looked to Jason somewhat hopeful for his case. Adding they Roy would least give Dick the heads up that Jason has interest in joining the Outsiders…That may go over better than just kinda showing up in the bunker with Jason already in toe. Roy hardly needed his equipment to be fired in the process. Which he was already thinking meeting somewhere on the Docks, maybe the safer option. Of course any marital or family issue, personal whatever the fuck was between the two. They could sort out however they needed to, if they could. Tomorrow night, Roy suggested, though he highly doubted Jason would be to tied up if he was interested in joining the team. With living under the same roof as Kory. As Dick, pretty much. He might need a night. Otherwise the dinner table, might just get awkward, more than usual. He smirked. Lightly commented in response to telling Kory, he highly doubted he needed to, he as sure she saw right through them. Roy teased lightly, laughed… Before his eyes diverted back to Kory and then the over the top band music… Well, it wasn't overly bad. Just not his style and a somewhat out of tune. The trumpet was like nails on the chalk board. He sank a little at the parade of animal costumes and the cheap spandex… He could have done well to have avoided the parade, of course then again there was worse things in the word and well… Kory's over enjoyment could almost be a little infectious… Roy smiled slightly at her reaction, before his eyes took in direction was the Starfire.. Which he had to say didn't entirely measure up to the real deal, but that was definitely her outfit. What there was of it… Though his eyes fell upon the Robin. He amused at it..
"I say second rate, princess… Is that suppose to be Grayson…? Because if thats, Tim. Someone has some explaining to do…"
Charmingly with a flick of his eyebrows Roy complimented Kory, with an added wink. Pushing an elbow on the table as Roy turned to see more pointedly the parade. He wasn't about to jump up and join the crowd, but he couldn't help asking about the Robin. This parade must be with outdated or misplaced a little… Leaning into Kory a little asking if it was Dick, teasing if it was meant to be Tim… Because that could almost be dangerous. As his fingers toyed a little at the strands of her flaming red hair. Rolled his head a little with a playful look as if he was missing a piece of the puzzle. Before cocking a eye back to Jason!
